An interesting booking strategy

I'm using this with the WEFF, but would work even better with bigger promotions. Basically, you separate your fighters into Group A and Group B, making sure that the two groups are even in terms of skill. Then, you hold two different events; one that only has fighters from Group A and one that only has fighters from Group B. Do a cycle of separate Group A and Group B events about 3 or 4 times then do a mega event that pits the best of Group A vs the best of Group B. I've had some really high rated events from doing this. The key is that you're building up high contenders from one group to fight against high contenders from the other group, which the fans love. Some things to keep in mind: 1. Try to always have winners going against winners, so that you're always building a fighter up in terms of reputation. 2. Try to always have losers going against losers, that way you can always have a fresh fighter coming off momentum to fight other winning fighters. 3. Use wordpad/notepad to keep track of who is in what group. 4. Have at least one backup fighter for every weight class so that they can step in when one of your main fighters gets hurt. These should be rookies and no-skill fighters. 5. Book events back to back so that you'll always have only Group A or Group B fighters listed as being able to be booked. 6. Try to book events at least one month in advance to allow time for fighters to recover from either Group A or Group B. You can do TV events the same way and perhaps have the best "TV fighters" able to move up and compete with the bad boys in your events, while demoting the fighters who aren't doing well.
