Sting Rick Rude, this week was one of the greatest weeks in the life of the Stinger. To start of I beat Big Van Vader for the World Heavyweight Championship. Then last night on Saturday Night I defended that title against the very same man that people said I couldn’t beat. I beat him twice in a week Rick. And to top things off, we are heading for a little unification match at Starrcade. But you had to go and spoil the week for me. With my back turned you jumped me and took me down with the title that I will be holding in less than a month. Because Rick, that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to beat you, then become the Undisputed WCW World Heavyweight Champion. And Rick, the winner gets that extravagant big gold belt as the prize. That is what will represent the championship. And that will make it even sweeter, because that belt is the one thing you hold most dear, and I’m going to take it from you Rick! Revenge is sweet, and let me tell you Rick, revenge is about to be served by the Stinger! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WCW World Tag Team Championship Road Warriors © vs. Nasty Boys The Nasty Boys were using their title rematch here against the new champions, the Road Warriors, and they were much more competitive than they were at Battle Bowl a few days ago. They worked as a team much more effectively this time around, and they isolated Road Warrior Hawk for nearly the entire time. They hit him with some impressive moves, but as he has so many times, he was able to get the tag into his partner Animal, and he came in and cleaned house. This allowed Hawk to regain his composure, then the duo hit stereo powerslams on the former champions, then covered them at the same time to get the double three counts and keep their titles. Winners: The Road Warriors Match Time: 9:40 Match Rating: B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As the Road Warriors were celebrating their victory, the voice of Stunning Steve Austin broke their celebration, and he and his partner Brian Pillman came out to ringside with a message for the Road Warriors. Steve Austin Whoop-de-doo, you beat the Nasty Boys. On an off night we could beat those fat slobs in three minutes. Battle Bowl was just a fluke boys, and you know it. If you are real men you will step back into the ring with myself and Brian, but this time you will do it with the lights on bright. That’s right, Hollywood Blondes vs. Road Warriors at Starrcade. And this time, the titles will be on the line! What do you two chumps have to say to that? Road Warriors Hawk and Animal We Accept! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage, where Ric Flair has something to say about his huge main event match coming up tonight against the former Heavyweight Champion of the World, Big Van Vader. Ric Flair So when Vader failed to capture his title back last night, I hear that he threw a little tantrum backstage. He said that he wanted somebody to beat at Main Event, well Vader, I stepped up to the plate. Tonight you aren’t going to get a free pass, you have to go into the ring with the Nature Boy! You better get ready Vader, because you are in store for the ride of your life! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Winner Faces Benoit for the United States Title at Starrcade Terry Funk vs. Diamond Dallas Page Page and Benoit have had a war of words going on for over a month, so Page had some incentive to try to get to Starrcade to take on Benoit. But Terry Funk was standing in his way, and he proved to be a road block that he may not be able to over come. Funk gave Page all that he could handle, plus some more, and there looked to be no way that Page was going to make it out of this match. Funk had Page set up for the Texas Piledriver, but then Cactus Jack emerged on the aisle for no apparent reason. This caught Funk’s attention, and he turned to tell Jack to leave. When he turned back to Page, DDP uncoiled and drilled Funk with the Diamond Cutter and got the win, cashing his ticket to Starrcade. Winner: Diamond Dallas Page Match Time: 10:46 Match Rating: B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match Cactus Jack jumped right into the ring, sending Page to the outside very quickly. He wasted no time in stomping Funk into the mat, and he then went outside and grabbed a chair and a microphone. He got Funk up, then hit him with the Double Arm DDT into the chair. He then grabbed the microphone. Cactus Jack I’m getting sick and tired of people not named Cactus Jack being given chances for everything around here. I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands and make my own faith. If WCW Management won’t put me on the card, I will. Funk, me and you are going to do battle, but we are going to do it in a non-sanctioned street fight! And we are going to be doing it on the biggest stage in WCW, Starrcade! BANG BANG! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage where Harley Race is standing with Big Van Vader, who is looking off into the distance, still fuming after losing his World Heavyweight Championship to Sting last week at Battle Bowl. Harley Race Ric Flair, do you really think it was a smart moving willingly stepping into the ring tonight with Big Van Vader. There is only one thing more dangerous than a bull Ric, and that’s an angry bull. And that’s what Vader is. Tonight he is going to lower his horns, and he is going to charge. And Ric, tonight he has only one target, and that target is the Nature Boy. Ric, as we say back in Missouri, if you mess with the bull, then by god you are going to get the horns. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ric Flair vs. Big Van Vader w/ Harley Race There are few men that can stand toe-to-toe with an angry Vader, and Ric Flair is not one of them. He tried and Vader about knocked the teeth out of Flair’s head. Natch isn’t a dummy though, and he quickly changed up his approach, and he started hitting and ducking Vader, who was swinging wildly, ready to break whatever got in his path. Flair didn’t avoid one of Vader’s big strikes quickly enough once though, and Vader dropped him where he stood. Vader then toyed around with Flair for several minutes, then he locked him in a Bear Hug that seemed to last forever. Flair was finally able to battle out of it, and he went to work on the knee of Vader. He went to hit him with a knee breaker, but there was no chance that he was getting Vader up, and he collapsed under the pressure. Vader saw this and laughed, and he dragged Flair into the corner for the Vader Bomb. Flair may have been playing possum though, and he got up and grabbed Vader from behind, then slammed him down to the mat off the middle rope into a school boy rollup, and Flair may have grabbed some tights, but he got the three count and the huge victory. I want to give the fans a little update. The progress in this dynasty has been coming a little slower than usual, but I promise it will pick up soon. I haven't had enough time to really get anything done. Sam has been fairly busy lately, too. I vow to pick up my end of the bargain and continue to dominate WCW.

Maybe it will allow me to get back up to speed on the goings on in the battle for superemcy!
