Doink and Jarrett proceeded to attack Hart and Jannetty after the match. This lead to a Survivor Series match being made. The match started with Jim Duggan facing off against Doink the Clown. Duggan went on the assault and it stuck for a while until Doink was able to get out of the match and tag in Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow and Duggan went at it and no one got the advantage until Bigelow's team thought they would help him out by holding Duggan as the referee was distracted. Bigelow would then tee-off on Duggan with punches. Bigelow then went to the top and dropped a Flying Headbutt on Duggan's body. Jim Duggan is Eliminated Owen Hart would then jump into the match and mop the floor with Bam Bam Bigelow, but Bigelow would bail and try to go for Jeff Jarrett, but Jarrett jumped off the apron and taunted the crowd. Jarrett would get a massive amount of heat during this match. Bigelow would then tag in Doink the Clown, who got destroyed in the ring by Hart. Hart performed his technical abilities at their peak and make Doink the Clown look silly. Owen Hart would then use his stealthy moves to get a roll-up pin on Doink the Clown. Doink the Clown is Eliminated Before Jeff Jarrett would come in, Owen Hart would tag Marty Jannetty into the match. Marty Jannetty would try to go toe-to-toe with the huge Bam Bam Bigelow. Surprisingly, Jannetty didn't seem so intimidated by Bigelow's build and he went to work on Bigelow. Jannetty nailed some strikes before attempting a Rocker Drop, but Bigelow was able to get away from it and tag in Jeff Jarrett. A stunned Marty Jannetty was taken advantage of when Jarrett ran in and nailed The Stroke on Jannetty and would eliminate him from the match. Marty Jannetty is Eliminated Jeff Jarrett would act like he was about to battle Owen Hart, but he ducked out and tagged in Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow came out hammering, but for every punch Bigelow threw, Hart had three back at him. Bigelow became so confused by the storm of attacks that he fell out of the ring. Bigelow would then go into the ring, but when he came in he was met with a Northern Lights Suplex that would put him away for good. The crowd was amazed by Hart's strength to be able to get a move in like that on someone the size of Bam Bam Bigelow. Bam Bam Bigelow is Eliminated Now this is where the real match begins, the last two survivors face off in the middle of the ring. Both of these guys did whatever it took to become the sole survivor. Jarrett snook in and took advantage of Hart early. Hart, being fairly tired, was at a huge disadvantage. Jarrett was able to take control for the most part until Hart went on a rampage. Hart tore Jarrett apart for a while and it looked like Hart was going to end it. Jarrett then used an underhanded tactic and gave Hart a low blow where the referee couldn't see. Jarrett then rolled Hart up and that was that. Owen Hart is Eliminated Sole Survivor: Jeff Jarrett Time: 11:31 Match Rating: C+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels appears on the screen to hype his upcoming match. Michaels is trying to get a little more heat going into a huge match, the biggest of his career possibly. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels The retirement party has begun, old man. Tonight is the night that I give you a going away present that you will never forget. The present is going to be a kick to your face that sends you to your home to sit on the couch and watch me to go on and become the next WWF World Heavyweight Champion. Savage, tonight I am going to show you and the rest of the world that I deserved to be at the top of the ladder when it comes to the World Wrestling Federation. "Macho Man" Randy Savage then shows up on camera and he has something to say. This seems to be a segment where it gets both guy's views on the situation at once. "Macho Man" Randy Savage Oh yeah! You say tonight will be my last night as a wrestler, because you are going to force me into retirement. Well, Michaels, you couldn't be further from what will actually happen. What is actually going to happen is me dropping the elbow from the heavens. The elbow that will prove that you are just another punk that will be a flash in a can. Tonight, you are going to find out the hard way that Randy Savage doesn't go down without a fight. Oh yeah! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7th Match of the Best of Seven Series to Become the #1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Series Tied (3-3) "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels The conclusion of the best of seven series was a great finish. It could have been better, but the match was still very good. Both of these guys seemed on tonight and much like other matches they had together, they played off of each other very well. This feud has skyrocketed Shawn Michaels career, and now he is one of the biggest starts in wrestling. "Macho Man" Randy Savage, being the end of the road for him, is still proving that he can work with the best of them. Michaels had the whole arena against him, which helped Savage get an early lead in on Michaels. Savage would dominate the early portions of the match by keeping Michaels at bay by keeping him on the mat. Michaels would use his athleticism to help him by hitting an aerial move that knocked Savage off of his game. Michaels then came firing with his own array of moves, but Savage would end that early. Savage would attempt his finisher, the Flying Elbow Drop, but Michaels moved out of the way. Michaels would try his Sweet Chin Music, but it was turned away by Savage. Michaels would try again for the Sweet Chin Music, but Savage reversed into a roll-up, which Michaels narrowly got out of. Savage would then try again for the Flying Elbow Drop, and he would connect. The thing is Michaels rolled through the move and grabbed a load of tights and got the pin. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is now the #1 contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Winner: "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels Time: 17:42 Match Rating: B+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jim Ross is backstage with the #1 contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, Mr. Perfect. They are probably there to discuss the match for later tonight between Mr. Perfect and Razor Ramon in a steel cage. Jim Ross I'm backstage with Mr. Perfect, who will be facing Razor Ramon tonight for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. That match will be taking place in the impenetrable steel cage. There is a huge risk and reward factor to this match. Mr. Perfect, why a cage match over any other match you could have chosen? Mr. Perfect It's rather simple, Ross, and it is because it is a cage. A cage that will keep him for running away from what he deserves. He deserves to beaten by me and he deserves me taking his, well my WWF Intercontinental Championship. Razor Ramon, there is no escaping the pain that you will take tonight. A pain that you have tried to inflict on me over the past month. A pain that you won't be able to bear, Razor Ramon. Tonight, you can't run, you can't hide and you can't stop me from taking the WWF Intercontinental Championship! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Steiner Brothers are backstage with microphones in hand. They may be announcing who their partners will be for the Survivor Series match against The Quebecers. The Steiner Brothers could possibly have a trick up their sleeve after that promo on WWF Superstars that seemed to be hinting something. Scott Steiner Finally the time has come where we can get our revenge on those Canadians. They are about to get what is coming to them. We have two legends lined up to be our partners. Who do you have? My guess is some low-rent punks you picked off the streets of Toronto, because no one wants to be partners with you guys. We are going to mop the floor with you guys and whoever your lackeys are because we have two guys that have proved themselves to be forces in the business. One of them has put fear in the eyes with a friend of his and the other has been an innovator of the aerial attack. They are Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka! Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka come on screen and the arena explodes with cheers. The Steiner Brothers are buddies of mine and I would be damned to see you guys beat them. So I am going to help them out by bringing in some experience. You guys will be lucky if he can walk away from the ring conscious, because the DDT is going to be in full-force tonight. You also better watch out for a snakebite, because the last thing you want to go to the hospital for is for venom in your veins and being unconscious. The Quebecers, you better hold on to your titles tight because The Steiner Brothers are coming for them. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka How how how how how how how! Rick Steiner Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 vs. 4 Do or Die Survivor Series Match The Steiner Brothers & Jake Roberts and Jimmy Snuka vs. The Quebecers & The Twin Towers It was announced just before the match started that The Twin Towers, Big Bossman and Akeem would be The Quebecers partners. The Twin Towers are a pretty good tag team, but Jake Roberts and Jimmy Snuka are unbeatable. The stipulation to this match is if The Steiners' team wins they get a shot at the WWF World Tag Team Championship, but if they lose they can't challenge for it as long as The Quebecers are champions. The match started with Rick Steiner and Pierre. Rick Steiner and Pierre traded moves to begin the match, but Pierre took control. Pierre started using a variety of knees and elbows to put Rick Steiner in the corner. Rick Steiner then took control by suplexing Pierre very quickly. Rick Steiner then went up top and nailed a Top Rope Bulldog and pinned Pierre. Pierre's team was stunned by the quick elimination. Pierre is Eliminated Rick Steiner then tags in his brother, Scott, to face the giant Akeem. Akeem takes control early by slamming Scott to the mat. Akeem then started to pound Scott Steiner and there was nothing he could do about it. Akeem then picked Steiner up by the ears and slammed him to the mat. Scott Steiner then barely kicked out of a pin. Steiner then rushed back and tagged in Jake "The Snake" Roberts. "The Snake" met Akeem with a few quick punches and a dropkick, knocking Akeem in the corner. Jacques then tagged himself in and started to taunt the crowd. When he turned around he was met with a kick in the stomach and a DDT. Roberts then covered Jacques up for three. Jacques is Eliminated Rick Steiner comes back in as Big Bossman is. Steiner and Bossman trade blows until Bossman gets the advantage with a knee to Steiner's stomach. Bossman then clubs Steiner over the back and drags him into his corner and tags in Akeem. Akeem then starts to beat down Rick Steiner until he is nothing but pulp. Akeem then picks up Rick Steiner and puts him up on his shoulders. Akeem taunts the crowd, but Rick Steiner falls off his back and stumbles into his own corner where his brother tags in. Scott Steiner then jumps up and nails a Hurricanrana on the groggy Akeem. Scott Steiner then covers up and eliminates Akeem. Akeem is Eliminated With only one more person left, Big Bossman, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka comes into the ring with a big ovation. Bossman shuts it down by hitting Snuka with a tackle. Bossman then bullies Snuka around for a while until he signals the end with a Bossman Slam, but Jimmy slips out of it and returns with a clothesline. Bossman isn't quite knocked over yet so Snuka hits him with another clothesline and another clothesline. Jimmy Snuka then goes up top and crashes down with a Top Rope Splash and finishes the match. Big Bossman is Eliminated Sole Survivors: The Steiner Brothers & Jake Roberts and Jimmy Snuka Time: 11:45 Match Rating: C+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Razor Ramon is backstage with a toothpick in his mouth and smirk on his face. He is facing Mr. Perfect tonight and putting his WWF Intercontinental Championship on the line in a cage match. Ramon may be pretty furious, but he may also still be arrogant. Razor Ramon That was a huge mistake, chico! You pick a match that will cause you pain beyond compare. You picked a match that I will seek to it that you will fear for the rest of your life. You say that I'm going to feel pain, but that won't happen. I'm going to be the one walking out of this match on two feet, I can't say the same for you, Mr. Perfect. That steel doesn't make promises, but I do, Mr. Perfect! Tonight you won't be walking out of that cage with my WWF Intercontinental Championship. You won't be walking out of that cage...period! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Team DiBiase is standing backstage getting ready to taunt Team Luger. DiBiase brings the microphone to his mouth and begins to talk. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Team DiBiase is ready to take out that sick excuse of a team you have, Lex Luger. You claim that your team is better than mine, but let me remind you of a few things. I have the complete team, I've got the gritty man in Irwin R. Schyster, the big man in the form of Diesel, and I've got the technical powerhouse that is "The Model" Rick Martel. Luger your team is a bunch of hacks that didn't make the cut for my team. Just like you Luger to feed off the bottom. Me, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, has enough money to get whoever I want and you know everyone has a price for "The Million Dollar Man". You take a look at the two workers and you know that this match is going to be good. They are two of the best and most popular workers in the World Wrestling Federation. Razor Ramon, being a monster, brought some power to the match and shook the cage with thunderous moves. Mr. Perfect, on the other-hand, used the steel cage to his advantage. He made the casing turn into a weapon, throwing Razor Ramon into on numerous occasions. Mr. Perfect, having so much momentum behind him, seemed to be on reckless abandon when it came to what he would do to Razor Ramon. Razor Ramon wasn't able to get off much offense early on in the match. Mr. Perfect dominated with his technical abilities until he missed a dropkick from the top rope. Razor Ramon took advantage from there, nailing Mr. Perfect with plenty slams and other power moves. Razor Ramon tried to escape, but Mr. Perfect was able to catch him in the nick of time. Mr. Perfect then went on the prowl and made Razor Ramon look like an easy opponent. Mr. Perfect threw Razor Ramon into the cage a couple times more until he set the WWF Intercontinental Champion up for a Perfect Plex. Mr. Perfect lifted Razor Ramon up, but Ramon was able to shake free. Razor Ramon then pushed Mr. Perfect into the cage face first, making Mr. Perfect seem out of it. Ramon then picked up Mr. Perfect and put him against the ropes. Then something occurred to Ramon, he could tie Mr. Perfect's arms into the ropes. Ramon took that idea further and weaved Mr. Perfect's body into the ropes. Ramon then exited the cage with no appeal from Mr. Perfect. Ramon has successfully defended his title, but not the way a champion should. Winner: Razor Ramon Time: 18:52 Match Rating: A+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before the officials could get to Mr. Perfect, Razor Ramon returned inside the cage. Ramon then stared at Mr. Perfect with the look of an animal on his face. When officials would try to stop Ramon from doing what he was about to do he would just throw them into the cage or stop them before they could get in. Ramon then went to work on Mr. Perfect by nailing him with a couple of kicks to the his head. Ramon then started to hammer away at Mr. Perfect's body with punches. Ramon then unraveled Mr. Perfect from the ropes and ran him into the cage with a powerslam. Ramon then, to cap off the attack, picked up Mr. Perfect on his shoulders and nailed his signature move, the Razor's Edge. Razor Ramon then left the ring with an accomplished look on his face. Medics then came out to check on Mr. Perfect ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Team Luger is in the ring before their Survivor Series match against "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase's team. That pick-up was huge for Team Luger so they can go into the match with the momentum. Lex Luger You are looking at the four men that will make a mockery of Ted DiBiase's team tonight. He calls our team a sick excuse, but all I see is domination. You have a veteran and former WWF World Heavyweight Champion in Bob Backlund. You also have the man that went months and months without losing a single match, a savage beast, Tatanka. Then you have one man that will make any man that he steps in the ring with look like a child, a man that will strike fear in the face of any opponent, The Undertaker. Now you are down to one more person, me, the one that will stop at nothing to see Ted DiBiase suffer the pain that he deserves. He took away my chances at becoming the WWF World Heavyweight Champion and tonight I get my revenge! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 vs. 4 Survivor Series Match Team Luger vs. Team DiBiase This match has had a nice build-up and it is about to end with a conflict between eight of the most elite talent in the World Wrestling Federation. The feud that has built this match, between Lex Luger and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, has made this match even bigger than it already is. The match started off with Bob Backlund, a technical maniac, taking on another technical mastermind, "The Model" Rick Martel. Bob Backlund took advantage early by driving Martel into the mat with a takedown. Backlund then began to wrestle "The Model" with his fantastic mat work. Backlund made Martel look like an amateur with the moves he was pulling. The mat work continued until Backlund decided that was enough and he threw Martel into the corner. Baklund tagged out to Tatanka. Tatanka came in and was met with a dropkick from "The Model" Rick Martel, the thing is Tatanka didn't sell it and Martel dropped like a sack of potatoes. Martel goes over to his corner and tries to tag in DiBiase, but DiBiase pulls away at the last second. Tatanka then picked Martel up and hit him with a Indian Death Drop. This would put Martel out of the match for good. Rick Martel is Eliminated Tatanka would stay in the ring as Irwin R. Schyster would come into the match. As Schyster came in, he was met with a clothesline from Tatanka. Tatanka would continue to beat Schyster down for a while until he tagged in Lex Luger, who came out firing. Schyster didn't know what hit him as he was being pummeled with elbows to the face. Lex Luger would throw Irwin R. Schyster around the ring a little more until he took business personal and went after "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. DiBiase jumped from the apron and backed off. Diesel came up and slung Luger's neck off the ropes. Schyster tried to take advantage, but Luger pushed him against the ropes. On the return, Luger smoked Schyster with a powerful Flying Forearm that knocked Schyster out. Luger then pinned Schyster to eliminate him. Irwin R. Schyster is Eliminated The Undertaker would come in to face Diesel. This battle of the big men would proceed for a while until The Undertaker took advantage. The Undertaker nailed Diesel with some fists, backing Diesel up into the corner, where The Undertaker would tag in Bob Backlund. Bob Backlund would wail away for a while until Diesel blocked Backlund's attack and pushed him away. Diesel then ran from the ropes and as Backlund was getting up, he crushed him with a Big Boot. The whole crowd could be heard cringing after that destructive move. Diesel then covered the legend and got the three count that eliminated Backlund. Bob Backlund is Eliminated Diesel points at Tatanka and tells him to come out there. Tatanka comes out and tries to gain some offense, but Diesel shuts him down by throwing him out of the ring. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase think he can get an advantage by attacking Tatanka on the outside, but Lex Luger comes over and stares DiBiase back over to his side. Luger then helps Tatanka up and back into the ring. Tatanka then starts to attack Diesel, but this time Diesel can't stop it. Tatanka goes on a rage that won't be stopped until Diesel would trip Tatanka into the ropes. Diesel then would use the ropes as a choking device. Diesel then grabbed Tatanka from the ropes and lifted him up. Diesel then powered him down with a Jackknife Powerbomb that could be felt throughout the arena. Diesel then covered Tatanka up and sent him packing from the match. Tatanka is Eliminated Diesel then points at Lex Luger and tells him to come out, which he eagerly does. Lex Luger comes out firing again, but Diesel shut it down again. Diesel is on his game tonight and he looks very dominating compared to other members of his team. Diesel threw Lex Luger into the corner and tried to tag out to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, but DiBiase chickened away again. Lex Luger would then take advantage of Diesel by dropping him with a kick to the back. Luger then pulled Diesel into the middle of the ring and hit a powerslam. Luger would try to pin Diesel, but Diesel would kick out. Luger then went to his corner and tagged out to The Undertaker. Seeing this, Diesel ran over to his corner and tried to tag into DiBiase. Just like before DiBiase chickened out and jumped off the apron. This time Diesel had enough and pulled DiBiase up by the hair and put him on the apron. Diesel then grabbed DiBiase by the wrist and tagged him in and whipped him over the ropes and into the ring. A shocked DiBiase turned around to a figure he didn't want to see, The Undertaker. The Undertaker lifted him up with ease and drilled him head-first into the mat with a Tombstone Piledriver. The Undertaker then pinned "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, who had only been in the match for ten seconds. Ted DiBiase is Eliminated The Undertaker then waits for Diesel to step in the ring. The two trade punches until they determine that it is a stalemate. The two then stand up to each other and look their opposite in the eye. Diesel then goes off the ropes and looks to take The Undertaker down with a clothesline, but The Undertaker doesn't budge. Diesel tries it again, and again the powerhouse that is The Undertaker doesn't budge. This time The Undertaker runs off the ropes and tries to take Diesel down, but Diesel doesn't budge. And just like Diesel, The Undertaker tries it again but Diesel doesn't move either. Then both of them run off the ropes and clothesline each other, which sends the both to the mat. They both stay on the mat for awhile until they both get up at the same time. Diesel goes for a hay maker, but The Undertaker ducks and forces Diesel into his corner. The Undertaker then tags out to Lex Luger. Lex Luger knocks Diesel around for a while until Diesel fires back with shots of his own. Diesel then whips Lex Luger into the corner. Diesel then runs by the ropes, but is met with a punch to the chin from The Undertaker. Lex Luger then goes off the ropes and meets Diesel with a Flying Forearm. Lex Luger covers Diesel and gets the pin. A little over a month ago, Bret, you defeated Yokozuna for a shot at his WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight that time will come where you get that shot. What is your strategy against the big man, Yokozuna? Bret "Hitman" Hart I will tell you right now, plain and simple, it isn't about the strategy anymore. Jim Ross, it is about that passion and that desire I have. Not just the desire to take back what is mine, the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. It is about making Yokozuna pay for what he did to me. This past month has been hell for me, but tonight Yokozuna is going to get what he deserves. It won't be just me taking his championship, it will be Yokozuna battered and torn for the first time in his career. Yokozuna, you may be big and strong, but I'm the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shawn Michaels, still sitting in the locker room after his victory over "Macho Man" Randy Savage, is in front of the camera. He probably now has something to say about his quest to the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels Finally, finally the time has come where I can get my hands on the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. I had to go through some of the best in the business over the last month. I had to go through Tatanka, I had to go through Lex Luger, and I had to go through "Macho Man" Randy Savage. I showed tonight, by beating that bag of bones Savage, that I deserve my title shot. It could be against Bret "Hitman" Hart or Yokozuna, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter, because I know, the fans know, that I can beat anyone in this company. I'm "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, all the girls want me and all the guys want to be me, that includes you Bret "Hitman" Hart. You say you are the best there is, well you are going to be proven wrong. And Yokozuna, you think you are the most dominating man in the World Wrestling Federation, do you? Well Yokozuna, just wait, because the moment will arise that I will send you down a level with a little bit of Sweet Chin Music! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Yokozuna (C) vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart Here is the main event and the crowd was ready for it. They seemed to be more into this match than any other match on the card, but that is reasonable since it is the main event. Bret "Hitman" Hart got the cheers and Yokozuna got the boos. The crowd was behind Hart from the start and that continued for the whole match. If boos would actually get to Yokozuna's head then they may actually mean something, but Yokozuna doesn't feel emotion. The match started with a lengthy stare down and then followed by a test of strength, that surprisingly ended with a tie. Mr. Fuji was irate after the test of strength because this shows that Yokozuna only true advantage over Bret Hart may not be existent. Bret Hart would then try to slam Yokozuna, but then we are shown that Yokozuna true advantage is his size. Bret Hart is a fairly strong man, but it is pretty hard to lift someone the size of Yokozuna. Bret "Hitman" Hart then used his intelligence and knocked Yokozuna down to his size by dropkicking him in the back of the legs. Hart would then start to dominate Yokozuna with a flurry of kicks. Hart would try to hit a running knee on Yokozuna, but the WWF World Heavyweight Champion wasn't having any of it. Yokozuna then took control and ran Hart into the turnbuckle. Yokozuna threw Hart out of the ring with a press slam. Yokozuna then taunted the crowd, which generated more heat from the audience. Hart then surprised Yokozuna with a flying dropkick off the top, which knocked Yokozuna out of the ring. Hart then one-upped himself and flew over the top rope and landed on Yokozuna, but Yokozuna caught him. Yokozuna then rammed Hart into the apron, most likely causing an immense amount of pain in Hart's back. The match took a while to restarted as Hart tried to get back in the ring. Yokozuna ran and tried to knock Hart off of the apron as he was getting into the ring, but Hart moved. Hart then gave a leg drop to the back of Yokozuna's head. Hart then went back on the attack, nailing Yokozuna with a wide range of attacks. Hart then accidentally sealed his own fate by throwing Yokozuna into a corner that was already occupied by the referee. Mr. Fuji then saw this as his spot to takeover for his client and came into the ring behind Hart. Mr. Fuji tried to low blow Hart, but Hart read it and caught Mr. Fuji's hand. Hart then threatened Mr. Fuji, but Yokozuna came from behind and laid Hart out. Yokozuna then went up top and crashed down with a powerful Banzai Drop. The referee soon came to and counted the pinfall. Yokozuna sneaks away from a loss and I doubt Hart will call this closure. Mr. Fuji then grabs the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and hands it to Yokozuna. Yokozuna holds it high in his hands as the crowd boos. Yokozuna then goes to the top rope and holds the title high and the crowd boos even more. Yokozuna then flashes the title in the face of Bret "Hitman" Hart and the crowd boos even louder. Yokozuna is really putting this crowd in a bad mood, but then... "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels slides into the ring and grips the ropes. The crowd doesn't know to either cheer or boo, because he is hated but he is also about to do something that would get a cheer if it was done by anyone else. Once Yokozuna turns around to exit he is met with a Sweet Chin Music. Michaels held up to his promise from earlier in the night and took advantage of a situation where Yokozuna let his guard down. Shawn Michaels then grabbed the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and raised it high. Yeah, that match was much higher rated than the main event. I thought the main event would have at least got an A, but I'm not disappointed. Also, A Rockers reunion may be in the future, but I don't think that is in the Shawn Michaels plans right now. But with my lack of top tag teams, we may see the Rockers back together.

Thats what I like to hear maybe a rockers reunion in the future, Your right by this point tag team division is very weak when you look at the division in the late 80s and early 90s, Maybe a return of Rhytem & Blues, Demolition or bring in Terry Gordy and Steve Williams vs the Steiners would be good to see, you also have fueding Razor and Curt who once made a good team. Anyway I know you know what your doing but please dont do what vince done and runied the tag divison. The Rockers The greatest tag team ever in the wwf history not to win those tag titles maybe one day they will and I can live in peace :) :) :) EXCELLENT WORK REALLY ENJOYING IT....

Good show. I'm glad you kept the title on Yokozuna. I know he wasn't the greatest worker, but I always had a soft spot for him and think he has been underrated as a monster heel.
Ooh, the Battlebowl! You gonna do it properly or make it just another PPV? Personally I'd love to see it done realistically, I love the odd PPV with a gimmick.
I changed it up a bit, but it's still people fighting for matches later in the show. If you read back for about the past 6 shows then that's what I've been building towards. Except I changed the battle royal to title matches for winning your qualifier. I figured that this kind of pay-per-view would compete with the evil WWF better than a battle royal.

Have to admit, I've not read closely enough. Saw the qualifiers but didn't really realise it was Battebowl stuff because, as I've said, I've only glanced through diaries lately. Shame you're not doing Battlebowl as it was, although in TEW terms it would totally bomb, what with the mix of heel and face and some real poor performers stinking up ratings. Good luck with it- I'll have to read it properly at some point rather than skimming so I don't embarass myself again! :o :p

But this Sunday at Battle Bowl I will run over you like you aren’t even there, then I’ll head on to face your buddy Vader, and WCW will have a new World Heavyweight Champion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Scorpio and Bagwell vs. The Nasty Boys Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell got the crowd going, but they were quickly put down by The Nasty Boys. They would dominate one man, then take his partner and do the same to him. Sags and Knobbs used their big size advantage and virtually grounded the high speed offense of Bagwell and Scorpio, and after a set of Pit Stains the Nasty Boys were rolling into their title defense at Battle Bowl. Winners: The Nasty Boys Match Time: 4:34 Match Rating: C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ric Flair makes his way to the ring for his upcoming match with the Television Champion, Lord Steven Regal. Before his match though he has some thoughts to share on his upcoming match at Battle Bowl with Cactus Jack for the rights to face Rick Rude for the International Heavyweight Championship. Ric Flair Regal, tonight you have the tough task of taking on a train that cannot be stopped. I’m rolling towards Battle Bowl, and there isn’t anybody that can get in my way. This Sunday I will make Cactus Jack say the words I quit, or I’ll snap his leg! Then Rude, I’m coming for that big gold belt. You better keep it close to you tonight, because it is the last night that it will be in your possession. WOOOO! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ric Flair vs. Steven Regal These two great technical wrestlers gave the fans who enjoy pure wrestling in the crowd a great show, because they put on a technical wrestling exhibition. The whole match neither man resorted to fists, and they let their wrestling holds do the damage. It was back and forth for several minutes, but Ric Flair was able to get the upper hand, and after a beautiful takedown he locked in the Figure Four Leglock and Regal quickly gave up. Winner: Ric Flair Match Time: 12:37 Match Rating: A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage where Jesse Ventura is standing by with Davey Boy Smith. Jesse Ventura Davey, you have to like what you just saw. The man that you will be facing at Battle Bowl for the right to fight for the United States Championship just had a grueling match with Ric Flair. Davey Boy Smith You’re right Jesse, but I wouldn’t put too much stock into it because I’ve got what I’m sure will be another grueling match coming up tomorrow night on Main Event against Cactus Jack. My goal is to get through that match with no serious injuries, then Regal, you will feel the power of Davey Boy Smith, and I’ll be heading to the match against Benoit to claim the United States Championship. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sting vs. Steve Austin These two energetic superstars had fans on both sides of the spectrum. Sting had fans cheering like crazy for him, while fans booed Austin for his arrogant attitude. Both men are heading to Battle Bowl to attempt to fight for gold, so this match was huge. Sting started the match in control, but Austin surprised many of the fans with some great wrestling ability, then he mixed in some solid right hands to give him the advantage. He looked for a Stun Gun, but Sting was able to reverse it, then he hit a series of Stinger Splashes. He tried to get Austin in the Scorpion Death Lock, but Austin refused to turn over, so Sting had to change up the tactics. Austin was able to fight back and nail a piledriver, but only got a two count at one point. He looked for another Stun Gun though, but Sting got a rush of adrenaline and was able to power out, then nail the Scorpion Death Drop for a very hard fought victory. Winner: Sting Match Time: 14:42 Match Rating: B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match instead of the music of Sting hitting, the music of Big Van Vader played. He made his way to the ring escorted by Harley Race, and he entered the ring and stood toe-to-toe with Sting. He then took his title off and held it high in the air as he and Sting engaged in a very heated staredown. Final Rating: B

Steamboat showed that he isn’t scared of anybody as he came up and started chopping away on Vader and dropped several dropkicks, but Vader wouldn’t go down, and he caught Steamboat and drilled him with a backbreaker. He then toyed with Steamboat for a minute, but that was a big mistake and Dragon began fighting back. He headed up top for a tomahawk chop, but Vader caught his hand, then drilled him with a Powerbomb and got the three count. But it’s a completely different thing to think that you can step in the ring with the Heavyweight Champion of the World. Ric Flair Rick, I’m sure that you tuned into Saturday Night last night to see me run over the Television Champion Steven Regal. That’s nothing compared to what I’m going to do to you! I have no beef with Regal, but with you, ha ha, that’s a different story. All we needed was a nice business feud over the International Championship that everybody knows should belong to me, but you turned it personal. And when you get personal with Ric Flair, then you enter the ring with the most dangerous man in professional wrestling. Rick, at Battle Bowl you will be handing me that championship, it’s an inevitability. They met in the middle of the ring, and Cactus Jack set the pace as he unloaded with right hands to Davey Boy Smith. Smith wasn’t going to take this though and he started to fight back against Cactus Jack, and the fans were behind him one hundred percent as they wanted to see Jack knocked down a peg or two. Davey Boy tried scooping Jack up for the Powerslam, but he wasn’t having any of it, and he spun Davey Boy around, kicked him in the gut and nailed the Double Arm DDT to get the big victory heading to Battle Bowl. Simmons was over powering Rude for the majority of the match, but Rude resorted to underhanded tactics to gain the upper hand. Jeff Jarrett has been on a sort of a roll as of late with him being named the Sole Survivor in his Survivor Series match. Jeff Jarrett has been getting involved with a little bit of a feud with Owen Hart. Owen Hart, being a great competitor, loves to have heated matches and loves to tell a story with his matches. Hart's wrestling ability that came from his Hart family showed tonight as he used a resilient wrestling style to get the advantage over Jeff Jarrett. Jeff Jarrett looked pretty good out there, too. Jarrett isn't usually praised for his wrestling ability, and this is no exception, because Jarrett really didn't win me over with his wrestling. Jarrett is more of an entertainer and can generate some heat from the crowd. With that being said, Jarrett was able to get the win over Hart with The Stroke. Let's see what he has to say about last week and his match tonight against Lex Luger. Razor Ramon Last week I was about to take the head off of that kid, Mr. Perfect. Then comes along some snitch and has to ruin everything for me. All I wanted to do was take Mr. Perfect out of life once and for all, but no! Bret Hart who do you think you are, huh? You think you have the right to get into my business? Hart, you are lucky that I am focused on Mr. Perfect and my match tonight. Mr. Perfect, you say you aren't done with, but the thing is that I'm not done with you. I don't rest until you are out of my side forever. Lex Luger, tonight you go against the WWF Intercontinental Champion, how do you feel? I'll answer that for you...scared! Diesel, I don't think you know what you are getting yourself into. This man standing next to me is the single most intimidating wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation. He has destroyed all that has been in his path. Some may think of you as a powerhouse, but not this guy. To him you are nothing but a mortal. To think that you can defeat some like him may be sealing your death wish. With the crowd behind him, Tatanka was able to get a bunch of high-powered moves off until Schyster took control. Schyster mocked the crowd as he attacked Tatanka, but this got Tatanka very angry. Tatanka began to go on fit of rage and began to dominant Irwin R. Schyster. Irwin R. Schyster started to beg for someone to come help him, but no reply. I'm going to show everyone in this company and everyone that watches this show every week that you are nothing but a sucker. Now for you Ramon, you have something coming for you. Yokozuna, you may be the current WWF World Heavyweight Champion, but it is only a matter of time until I get the gold around my waist. Yokozuna, you are a big guy who hasn't missed many meals and you know a thing or two about dominating. You've been dominating your opponent since you got here. You are wrong if you think I'm just another one of those two-cent current jerkers. I'm going to be one of the most competitive people you will ever face.
you know i was always mad Scott Hall never won a major title...I'm really hoping that changes in this diary
Yeah, I agree. Although you can't say that it wasn't his own fault, at least partly. He left WWF, so who knows if he would have won the title there. I do know that he had at least one shot, that being at the Royal Rumble in '93 against Hart. It was a good match too, and I liked the finish, no matter how anticlimactic it was. In WCW, he was busy supporting Nash for so long, and by the time he could have been a contender, he had so many personal problems that it would have been bad for business, something that even his best friend recognized.
