edenborn
Quick question for the TEW veterans: I know I can burn out my fan base by running too many shows, but I don't yet have a sense of what "too many" is. As far as I can tell, running a show each and every day will overwhelm my audience after a while (the popularity gain from a successful show becomes very small), but running a show once a week won't. Is it safe to run two shows per week? Three? Four? What's the fastest "safe speed" if money is no object and your goal is just to raise popularity as quickly as possible? (If it's relevant I'm at Cult right now, so I don't have the option of running house shows.)
Blackman
2 a week is relevant and good enough. You won't burn out fans like that. 3 a week is becoming risky though, unless you're touring and the fans will need to miss action for 2 months. :D I currently run a Global fed and do 2 weekly shows, 1 monthly PPV of course, and 6 house shows a week, divided among the 2 brands. edenborn
Thanks for the quick reply, Blackman. Two per week plus a big monthly show sounds very manageable. I was running a show every day in my last game and wound up making lots of money, but popularity just wouldn't move after a while.
Blackman
that's odd. Perhaps there's a limit on pop increase during a week. Normally only attendance should decrease. Come to think of it, it's not entirely unreasonable pop can't increase super-duper-much during one week. :D
