Passacaglia Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 So I've got a couple monster recruiting classes, stocked with talent at every position...except QB. I'm thinking of running the option, and changing the position of one of my RBs or WRs to QB. I've tested this only a slight amount, with decent success, but I wondered if any of the minds here had any advice as to: whether or not this can really work in an MP environment against good teams, what kind of abilities I should look for in an RB or WR to switch. southernwebb04 Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 I can't remember correctly, but someone tried this in a multiplayer online league, and it didn't have great success. His QB averaged I believe 8 passes per game, so rushing abilitiy is important. I think more than anything, if you're going to do this you need to have an Offensive Coordinator that has a blue for gameplanning, so he'll follow what you want to do 100%. If you chose that only 5 percent your QB passes, than so be it. But if you do the same with a Green, or even worse, that OC will more than likely change your percentages.
