I do like the challenges that BSC brings, reading through your diary so do you! I've never quite managed to make it past a year without going bankrupt though so congratulations!!

 

Thanks for dropping a line. nice to know people take some interest in this pet project of mine. I have learned from this dairy, that I am not the only one with a secret attraction to BSC (secret just makes it sound dirty, i'm posting it on the internet so it's clearly not a secret). So sorry you can't make it past a year, it deffinatly has some challenges to it. In the game that inspired this diary I not only survived but actually started bringing in 10,000 a month working 8 shows a month with just about who ever i wanted on the shows held in the south west. and in a post in another forum i found a guy who actually took BSC to Cult level, though if understood him right he did slightly alter the product. it all just goes to show you can succeed with BSC if you watch the pennies cloesly enough to start out.

 

For all those of you stopping through to take a look, I have a favor to ask. Leave a note saying hey, and your Idea (singular) for a large event (PPV but not on PPV), I am thinking of going to a monthly event format, if i can get big enough this year in Atlantic city then wonderland will be held between Nevada And New Jersey and looking glass will go and develope some other territory. this will let me safely run a medium event back in Nevada with out burning out the crowd.

4 shows 1 hour each. i hire some more cheap talent, but just on looks. if things go well i move to 8 shows as i did in this diary. if i drop below 40K i cut back, if i approach 30K i cut down to the bone, below 25 and i go to 4 shows at 1/2 hour each using just 3 workers. marilyn as the road agent and an announcer. and i run 4 shows a month in the south west. It does burn out the region. but you'll make enough money to survive.

 

did you sign a new referee as Heather Halo kinda sucks as a ref...do you use managers...i dont use sara silver as she is very expensive, i use sienna deville as a colour commentator...do you sack any of your roster to start with...i am not sure of sacking sara silver as she is a friend of honey the "boss".

 

I don't sack anyone. but i don't use sara, i just let her rot until her contract runs out, then bye bye birdie. oh and the sister beth usually finds her self off the card more often than not. The matches suck, but running 3 very short matches on every show Heather usually improves well enough to keep her on. in this diary she's gone from her starting high d- minus to a mid range d+.

 

no managers, they add cost to each show. so unless you've set up some one with a manger that is going to appear on the show in some other capacity. announcer, referee, another wrestler with a match or angle that show. then no managers. It's all about the T&A with BSC.

 

as for announcer i have Honey as my announcer and Sienna on color. and My user character is the authority figure for the fed.

OOC: ok, now i know this is not the best diary on the boards, it's not even great. some one gave me a five star rating which I grant you while a huge compliment is probably a little on the high side. but whom ever rated me a 2 puts me on the level with several of Adeezy's diary's and it's not that bad! but my even bigger beef is you rated me a 2 with out bothering to stop in here and leave any feed back. that's just kinds of shallow. If you had enough time to read my diary in order to feel your self enough of an authority to rate it for other people, the least you could do when bashing it with a two is leave a note or two on what you would have preferred to see.

Hopefully we will be profitable enough to turn the quarterly show back into a two hour show, and at the end of the year i want to make them bi-monthly. I am thinking about doing a little more in depth coverage of those shows.

 

I may also cut down the half hour show to just attendance and rating until we get over enough that i can afford to use more than the 3 workers and three support staff.

After the match Angel power tries to strip down Alison, but Vampella runs in for the save and it’s Power Girl and Charlize Angel that end up humiliated. (D)

Stephanie Wade and Paige Croft leave it all in the ring. in fact the referee has to rule the match a double count out as the women brawl into the stands leaving scraps of clothes behind as the fans go wild. (E+)

 

Skid Shatner comes out and delivers the news. Since neither woman one the match tonight. BSC: Spring Shower will feature a triangle match for the queen of the ring title! (D)

Charlize Angel comes out to warm up the crowd for her match, again making excuses for why Power Girl did not come out with her (C-)

 

Power Angels over Bad to the Bone to retain the tag titles in a foam party street fight. (D-)

 

Skid comes out t0 hold the Spring Bikini Break out competition, Charlize Angel, Dharma Gregg, Amber Allan and Paige Croft pour from the back, Skid quickly eliminates Charlize a first, Paige goes down next but not with out a good showing, for the first time ever there is a tie that skid has to carry over, that is not Charlize and Dharma. Skid Carries over Dharma Greg and Amber Allan as the fans are roaring for both ladies. (D+)

 

Vampella comes out to settle down the crowd by giving away more free T’s. (C-)

 

Main event:

Stephanie Wade vs Paige Croft vs Dharma Greg for the queen of the ring title

 

Stephanie Takes control of this match early using her wrestling skill to pigeon hole both Dharma and Paige. The fight continues as Paige kicks out at a desperate 3, just short of giving up the win. Dharma Greg catches a second wind and with Paiges help they take Stephanie Wade out. The damage has already been done to Croft though, so once they’ve narrowed it down to just Dharma and Paige, it does not take much work at all for Dharma Greg to retain her title. (D-)

 

Dharma Lifts Paige from the mat and hold her hand up showing a true sign of respect for her fellow competitor. (D+)

 

Stephanie Wade Recovers enough to Knock both women to the canvas and perform a strip humiliation to close out the show. (D-)

My first response, Thank you for being my first (on a side not as there had been no other even partialy successfull BSC diaries I'm still not sure if this was a compliment of a snide remark, I choose to believe it was a note of support.)

 

This is a good attempt at BSC, and it looks like you are already improving the standard ratings by making it more about the sex sells skits than the matches.

 

Kudos to going farther than any BSC diary has so far. Keep it up!

The fact is this diary was a way for me to actually play TEW, when I started the NBC wrestling diary I put it up thinking i would get flamed off the boards, or at the best simply be ignored. but two straight months of nominations for diary of the month (a competition I still think i shouldn't even qualify for) and 7 total votes have proven that theory wrong. Thank you all for the compliment.

 

The Diary is repetitive, for this I apologize I am going to try and do this thing right once every three months. what does that mean? The medium show at the end of each fiscal quarter will receive a full write up. As well in a commitment to less cut and paste show design, starting on July 1st 2009, each show, both Las Vegas and Atlantic City is being written from scratch, rather than from the cut and past cookie cutter formula. This does not mean general themes will not be repeated, but hopefully each show will have some individuality.
