Quick Picks Sabu vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir -Time for the Sheik to step up and what better way to do so than a victory over Sabu. Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong -Kong rules. Plain and simple. TNA World Tag Team Titles Match: The Latin American XChange vs. The Motor City Machine Guns -Like both those teams but like LAX just a little more. the MCMGs time will come soon enough, but LAX should have an extended run as champions soon enough. TNA Women's Title Match: Angelina Love vs. Ashley Massaro -Please God, don't let Ashley walk out with the belt. Hardcore Match: Chris 'Abyss' Parks vs. Matt Morgan -Just a feeling that I have. Grudge Match: Christy Hemme vs. Melina Perez -Melina seems to be a better choice here. One Last Time: Rhino vs. Christian Cage -Seems to be a pretty logical pick TNA X-Division Title Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn -It's RVD damnit. Do we really need a reason? Six Sides Of Steel: AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe -This just seems like a match that can go either way, but we'll go Joe here. TNA World Title Match, Six Sides Of Steel: Kurt Angle vs. Booker T -Just don't see Booker walking out with the belt.

The driver gets out and walks down to the end, opening the door and out steps the TNA World Champion Kurt Angle! Kurt raises his arms up in the air and looks ready for later on tonight as he walks right past the driver and walks toward the arena.

vs. Sabu vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir It's an international opening here at Turning Point as Sabu steps inside the ring to take on Sheik Abdul Bashir. They stare at each other from opposite sides as referee Mark Johnson calls for the bell. Sabu dives at the Sheik's legs to start the match and Sheik sidesteps him, dropping an elbow --- MISSED! Sabu gets up and lays a few stomps into the Sheik. The two kept up a fast-paced match in the beginning that ended when the Sheik took full control and began to wear down Sabu. Bashir moved to a more ground game to neutralize the speed of Sabu. Bashir tried to set up Sabu into the Camel Clutch but Sabu got to the ropes before Bashir could lock the move in. Bill Alfonso helped rally the fans around Sabu and Sabu started to make his comeback. Sabu hit several high risk moves on Bashir to keep him down but Bashir wouldn't stay down for long. Alfonso tossed a chair in the ring meant for Sabu to use but Bashir grabbed it! Bashir had a tug of war with the chair with the referee and Bashir won, knocking the referee down! Bashir turned toward Sabu and clubbed him with the chair, earning the DQ! Winner: Sabu by DQ Match Rating: D Following the match, Bashir went over to his corner and picked something up, making the announcers wonder just what he is up to. This was made painfully obvious when Sabu staggered over and the ring lit up with the shot of a fireball! Sabu grabbed his face as he took a direct hit and squirmed in the ring! Bashir took off and Bill Alfonso got in the ring, yelling for some help from the back for Sabu! EMT's came down to help Sabu to the back.

vs. Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong Taylor Wilde came out alone for this match while Awesome Kong was accompanied by Raisha Saeed. Awesome Kong mostly dominated this women's match with Taylor Wilde. Taylor got her shots in with the crowd backing her but Raisha Saeed made some timely interference to end that run. Salinas was nowhere to be found but Shane Douglas did accompany The Motor City Machine Guns to ringside. Apparently, the Masked Threat was holding Salinas at bay. A fine tag team match that started out strong with the L.A.X. getting the first few blows in with quick tags on the MCMG, keeping them off balance. But Hernandez bounced off the ropes and Shane Douglas tripped him up from ringside, giving the MCMG the advantage. Homicide jumped off the ring apron and went after Shane Douglas outside the ring but this only caused the official to become distracted and allowed Shelley and Sabin to double-team on Hernandez. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin took turns working over Hernandez and got multiple two counts, only to have their pinfalls broken up by Homicide. Homicide tried to get the crowd into the match and succeeded for the most part but Hernandez couldn't quite reach him to make the tag. Shelley tied Hernandez up in the tree of woe and the MCMG hit the Bullet Point on Hernandez! Hernandez fell inside the ring and Shelley made the cover: 1... 2... FOOT ON THE ROPES!! Somehow, Hernandez had enough wits about him to put his foot on the ropes. Alex Shelley slammed the mat in frustration! Shelley went to the top turnbuckle, looking down at a prone Hernandez and leaped --- HERNANDEZ GOT THE BOOT UP!!! Alex Shelley hit the boot and fell back into the turnbuckle, hitting his head there and falling downward. Both men lay stunned on the mat and the crowd chanted 'LAX, LAX, LAX' trying to get the Latin American XChange back into this one! Hernandez pulled and crawled toward his corner while Alex Shelley did the same! The crowd were on their feet. Shelley made the tag and Chris Sabin leaped over the top rope, running toward Hernandez just as Hernandez made the tag! Homicide stepped in and Sabin begged off, stepping backward but Homicide charged right for him and began punching away! Homicide dropped Sabin with the West Brooklyn Lariat and then punched Shelley off the apron! The crowd cheered as Homicide pulled Shelley up and hit the Three Amigos, a Triple Rolling Vertical Suplex! Homicide made a signal and made a tag back out to Hernandez! Shane Douglas jumped on the apron and pointed toward the big screen, getting the attention of both members of L.A.X.! On the big screen was Selinas tied up in a chair with The Masked Threat standing beside her, wagging his finger toward the Latin American XChange. While they watched, The Motor City Machine Guns started to recover and they knocked Homicide out of the ring. Hernandez was treated to the ASCS Rush! Alex Shelley made the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! We have NEW TNA World Tag Team Champions! Winners: The Motor City Machine Guns by pinfall Match Rating: C Shane Douglas got in the ring and celebrated with his crew, giving them the belts and raising their arms in victory. That was until their eyes turned toward the top of the ramp and they saw perhaps two future challengers waiting and watching them... Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens! THE NATURALS ARE BACK IN TNA!! Douglas and Stevens made the belt motion around their waist, smiled at the new Champions and walked to the back, leaving Shane Douglas kicking the ropes angrily at having their moment ruined.

The cameras head backstage where Booker T is stretching and warming up for his match later on tonight with Kurt Angle. These two actually had great chemistry within the ring but the crowd wasn't very much into the match itself. Velvet Sky interfered several times during the match to keep Love with the advantage. Love eventually ended the match with the Light's Out to get the pinfall victory and defense of her TNA Women's Title but she may have a Kong to look forward to soon. Winner: Angelina Love by pinfall Match Rating: E+

The cameras turned backstage where BG James was sitting on a bench. Once they met inside the ring, the wild brawl began with the two men trading punches in the center of the ring! Abyss dodged a punch and grabbed Morgan around the throat! Morgan blocked a chokeslam attempt and grabbed Abyss around the throat! Both men jockeyed for position, trying to choke the other one out! Neither man wanted to let go of the other one until Abyss kicked Morgan with a low-blow! They both released and Abyss took Morgan down with a clothesline! Abyss held the advantage for the next several minutes, going outside and getting a chair to use on Matt Morgan! He brought Morgan down and slammed him in the back with the chair! He made the cover but only got a two count! Abyss went outside the ring and looked for something. Morgan started to get to his feet and Abyss tossed the shopping cart in the ring, hitting Morgan in the shoulder with it! Abyss slid back into the ring and charged with a clothesline --- ducked! Morgan charged Abyss and hit him with a big boot, sending Abyss out of the ring! Morgan followed him outside and took the advantage but favored that arm that got hit by the shopping cart! Morgan choked Abyss on the railing before reaching under the ring and pulling out a table! He slid the table inside the ring and grabbed Abyss, tossing him in and following up. Morgan gave a few stomps to Abyss before beginning to set up the table. Once that was done, Morgan turned his attention back to Abyss but took another low blow! Abyss pushed Morgan toward the ropes and Morgan came back --- BLACK HOLE SLAM THROUGH THE TABLE!! Abyss makes the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! The announcers spent a lot of this match talking about the main event tonight. Inside the ring, the action went back and forth with the fans not caring so much about who wins. Some 'Show Your Tits' chants went out here in the Hammerstein Ballroom. Melina hit Christy with a low blow out of view of the official and then locked on the California Dream for the submission victory. Winner: Melina Perez Match Rating: D

vs. ONE LAST TIME! Rhino vs. Christian Cage This match billed as one final time for Rhino and Christian Cage inside the TNA ring. Winner take all. The fans seemed very happy about that fact as a 'same old ****' chant broke out within the Hammerstein Ballroom as apparently the TNA fans here had seen enough of these two in action. This was a pretty good brawl between the two with Christian showing some improved brawling skills against the larger War Machine. But Christian also used his speed and quickness to keep Rhino off balance. Late in the match, referee Andrew Thomas was knocked off his feet and Rhino nearly broke Christian in half with a Gore! Rhino made the cover but there was no official to make the count! Rhino got frustrated and left the ring, reaching underneath and pulling out a table! He slid the table inside the ring and began to set it up within a corner as Christian got to his feet. Rhino hammered Christian with a clothesline and then brought him over to the table. Rhino charged --- GORE! --- MISSED!! Rhino put himself through the table! The crowd cheered as Christian pulled himself toward his feet and left the ring, getting two folding chairs! He slid back inside and set one chair underneath Rhino's head --- CON-CHAIR-TO!!! Rhino twitches inside the ring but he is out! Christian slides the chairs out of the ring and makes the cover as the referee crawls over and the crowd counts along: 1... 2... 3!!! Christian Cage wins this one last chance match! Winner: Christian Cage Match Rating: C-

The cameras move backstage where AJ Styles is standing within an interview set. AJ Styles Samoa Joe, tonight we step inside the six sided ring, inside six sides of steel. It's the Samoan Submission Machine against the Phenomenal One. The crowd will be on their feet, the lights will be hot baring down on the ring and oh yes there will be blood. I have no doubts that there will be blood in this one, Samoa Joe. But tonight there will be one thing that is different from our last match. Rob Van Dam has Bill Alfonso in his corner while Jerry Lynn goes at it alone. Our referee is Brian Hebner. As the two men stre at each other from opposite corners, the bell sounds and the crowd begins to clap in unison as these two X-Division athletes circle each other inside the ring. A lockup by Van Dam and Jerry Lynn and Van Dam turns into a rear waistlock. Lynn with a standing switch. Van Dam brings Lynn down with a headlock takedown. Lynn counters with a headscissors. Van Dam rolls over into a pinning situation but only gets a one count and both men rise to their feet with Van Dam in a karate stance while Lynn just stares at him coldly. The crowd cheers their approval and Van Dam looks toward them for a moment, bringing his thumbs up and the crowd chants along with 'Rob...Van...Dam.' Lynn just watches the little sideshow from a corner. Half of the crowd begins a 'Whole F'N Show' chant while the other half begins a 'New F'N Show' chant! The crowd is pretty evenly split here at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The two meet in the center of the ring again and another classic standoff between Van Dam and Jerry Lynn with neither man gaining a full advantage in back and forth action and both men end up on their feet again. This time Jerry Lynn mocks Rob Van Dam's signature taunt, getting a 'New F'N Show' chant from the crowd. Some more classic wrestling back and forth between the two until Jerry Lynn rakes the eyes of Van Dam and gets the advantage. Lynn sends Van Dam out of the ring and raises his arms up in the air. He walks over toward the ropes, waiting for Van Dam to get up --- SLINGSHOT SOMERSAULT PLANCHA! Both men hit the ground hard! Aren't they getting too old for this? A 'TNA, TNA, TNA' chant begins to break out in the crowd. Lynn tosses Van Dam back in the ring and then follows him in. Lynn with a few stomps on Van Dam and then heads to the top turnbuckle! Jerry Lynn comes off the top with a sunset flip but Van Dam rolls through and grabs Lynn, turning him over in a Boston Crab! The crowd cheers for the X-Division Champion! Lynn eventually makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Van Dam is the aggressor now on Jerry Lynn, getting several more two counts before missing a buzzsaw kick! Lynn pushes Van Dam right into the referee! The crowd boos as referee Brian Hebner is taken down after cracking heads with Van Dam! Jerry Lynn slides out of the ring and picks up a chair, sliding back in and measuring Van Dam with it! Lynn swings the chair --- DUCKED! --- VAN DAMINATOR!!! The chair goes flying out of the ring and Jerry Lynn falls into the turnbuckles! Van Dam looks toward him and then toward the crowd! Bill Alfonso blows his whistle as he gets another chair! Van Dam with catlike agility going to the top turnbuckle. He gives his patented double thumb point as Bill Alfonso sets a chair up --- VAN TERMINATOR!!! Van Dam jumped from one side of the ring to the other kicking that chair in the face of Jerry Lynn! Van Dam twitches in pain as the chair is pulled out of the ring. Van Dam nips up and drags Jerry Lynn's prone body as Bill Alfonso wakes up the referee. Van Dam to the top turnbuckle --- FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH!!! Van Dam leaps over for the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! Rob Van Dam wins it! Winner: Rob Van Dam Match Rating: C- Rob Van Dam pops up from the cover, raising his arms as Bill Alfonso comes in the ring with the TNA X-Division Title! The crowd chanted for AJ Styles when he first came out to the ring and then chanted for Samoa Joe when he came out so we have another even split within this Hammerstein Ballroom crowd. A handshake between these two starts the --- Joe with a kick to the gut instead to take an early advantage! The fans were settled in for a very long match between these two and they were not disappointed. The match started slow with Samoa Joe holding the advantage and getting several two counts. Joe rammed AJ Styles into the cage a time or two and started to open a small gash above AJ Styles right eye. Joe made this worse by giving AJ the Facewash in the corner! Joe's momentum slowly built throughout the early goings reaching it's height when he locked on a sleeperhold on Styles! Styles was slowly going out but the crowd rallied the Phenomenal One back and AJ dropped Samoa Joe with a jawbreaker! Styles began his comeback against Joe, wiping blood out of his eye as he hit Joe with a Spine Breaker and got a two count. He began focusing punches and kicks in the same area Joe had opened up on him and eventually broke open a gash on Samoa Joe so that both men were bleeding in this match! Styles dropped Joe with an enzuigiri and headed immediately for the top turnbuckle --- FROG SPLASH!! He connected! He made the cover on Joe: 1... 2... KICKOUT!! Somehow Samoa Joe kicked out of the frog splash! Styles continued his momentum as the crowd remained evenly split between him and Samoa Joe. He lifted Joe in a vertical suplex position and held it up for several seconds before dropping him in a delayed brainbuster! He made the cover and again only got a two count! Styles grabbed Joe by the head and ran him toward the cage again but Joe blocked it! Joe got his hands out to save himself! Joe with a few elbow shots to AJ Styles and then he sent Styles into the cage! Styles bounced off and slowly fell to the mat as Joe began building momentum again. Joe dropped AJ with the C.C.S. Enzuigiri and made the cover: 1... 2... KICKOUT! AJ Styles kicked out of that one and Joe is the frustrated one! Joe looks toward the door and then the cage itself and he begins to climb the cage! It looks like he's going to try to escape the cage! AJ Styles begins to stir on the mat and he sees Samoa Joe climbing the cage! Styles pulls himself up and begins to climb as well. Joe sees him and is waiting on him, trying to kick at Styles when he gets close to knock him off the cage! They both reach the top of the cage at the same time and begin exchanging punches! The crowd in the arena are on their feet, flashbulbs going off as the two battle, both bloody and beaten atop the cage! Styles grabs Joe and rams his head against the cage, pushing him off! Joe lands inside the ring in obvious pain! All AJ Styles has to do is drop down outside the ring and this match is over! But AJ looks toward Samoa Joe and sees him prone down inside the ring. Styles gets his balance atop of the cage, staring at Samoa Joe. Styles leaps --- SHOOTING STAR PRESS OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE!!!! --- MISSES!!! Styles hits the mat and the crowd begins a 'Holy ****!' chant at what they've just witnessed! The crowd is stunned as both men lie nearly motionless on the mat. Slowly it is Samoa Joe that moves first. He slowly crawls over and manages to put an arm over AJ Styles: 1... 2... SHOULDER UP!!! Somehow AJ Styles got his right shoulder up! UNBE-FREAKING-LIEVABLE! Samoa Joe can't believe it! He slowly uses the ropes to get to his feet and he pulls AJ Styles up and hooks him --- MUSCLE BUSTER!!! That has to be it, right??? Joe doesn't go for the cover!! Instead, he hooks AJ again --- ANOTHER MUSCLE BUSTER! And he hooks him for a third one --- CONNECTS! Samoa Joe finally makes the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! Samoa Joe wins this hard-fought contest and a future shot at the TNA World Champion as the crowd chants 'JOE! JOE! JOE! JOE!' Winner: Samoa Joe Match Rating: C+

vs. SIX SIDES OF STEEL TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Kurt Angle vs. Booker T A video begins to play hyping the main event matchup of the evening as the ring is cleared from that car-wreck of a last match. The crowd boos when Kurt Angle comes out to the ring. He tests the cage with his hands for a moment before he enters and then out comes Booker T to a large grouping of cheers. Definitely not a split-crowd for this matchup. Kurt charges at Booker as soon as he enters the ring, hitting him with a knee to the gut as the door closes and Kurt turns his focus quickly to the leg of Booker T. The first several minutes of the matchup have Kurt working over the knee and leg of his challenger with stomps and kneebars and other moves and holds designed to incapacitate the knee. A definite slower-paced match than the last one. Kurt's momentum came to a halt when he tried to whip Booker into the cage and Booker blocked it! Booker came back with a back elbow and began the momentum swing that really got the crowd into it. Booker was the one that slammed Kurt Angle into the steel cage! Booker went to the top turnbuckle and dropped Kurt Angle with a Heat Seeker Dropkick! He made a quick cover: 1...2...kickout! Booker continued the momentum, dropping Kurt at every turn! Booker went for a clothesline but Kurt ducked and got a rear waistlock: GERMAN SUPLEX! Angle held on! He slammed him with another and then a third! Angle dropped the straps and went right back to Booker's leg with stomps and a drop of the knee to Booker T's knee! Angle grabbed Booker by the hair and rammed his face into the steel cage! He rubbed it back and forth to boos from the crowd! Angle pulled Booker T in and went for the Angle Slam --- BOOKER LANDED ON HIS FEET!! Angle turns --- BOOK END!! Booker T makes a quick cover: 1... 2... SHOULDER UP!! Kurt made sure he got a shoulder up before the three count! Booker T bounced off the ropes and did a few theatrics before dropping a knee on Kurt Angle! Booker T pulled Kurt Angle up and kicked him in the gut. Booker bounces off the ropes --- SCISSORS KICK --- MISSED! Kurt kicks Booker in the gut --- ANGLE SLAM --- Booker lands on his feet! Booker sends Kurt into the ropes --- 110TH STREET SLAM --- BLOCKED! Kurt with a kick to the gut --- ANGLE SLAM!!! The Angle Slam connected! Kurt makes the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! PREVIEW! It's a new year and TNA is ready to take things to the next level and what a card we have to kick things off! We're going to be in the New Alhambra Arena, known within the past as being the ECW Arena and we're going to have announcements by both Jim Cornette and Paul Heyman. Word is that both of them are going to be mentioning another company that has been making waves when it comes to TNA wrestling. Our main event is going to be a match to see just who will be taking on Kurt Angle at Final Resolution. Will it be Christian Cage or will it be Samoa Joe? Kurt Angle will be here in the building. What role will he play in the match? We are also going to be having a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match to determine the top contender to the belts that the Motor City Machine Guns just won at TNA's Turning Point. The match will take place between Team 3D and the Naturals. Both teams want a shot at the belts but who will be heading to Final Resolution? Also, The Masked Threat showed up at the end of the Rob Van Dam/Jerry Lynn match at Turning Point, stating that he will be unmasking on this very episode of iMPACT! Just who is that masked man? And will he be able to beat the talented veteran: Ultimo Dragon? Having spoken of the Rob Van Dam/Jerry Lynn match, there will be a rematch between these two right here on iMPACT! for the X-Division Title! Can Rob Van Dam make it two in a row or will Jerry Lynn pull off the victory and take home the title? Another match here tonight will be for the top contendership in the Women's division with the winner facing Angelina Love at Final Resolution. The two women battling it out? Roxxi Laveaux and Awesome Kong! Plus two men that had some very hard-fought matches at Turning Point going one on one here as Chris 'Abyss' Parks takes on Booker T! Plus more action! Quick Picks! The Briscoe Brothers and Too Cold Scorpio vs. Raven, Stevie Richards and Christopher Daniels TLC Match, #1 Contenders To TNA World Tag Team Titles Match: Team 3D vs. The Naturals Ultimo Dragon vs. The Masked Threat *Special Guess, Extra Point: Who IS The Masked Threat?* X-Division Title Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn #1 Contender To Women's Title Match: Roxxi Laveaux vs. Awesome Kong Chris 'Abyss' Parks vs. Booker T #1 Contender To TNA World Title Match: Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage TNA XPLOSION! Ultimo Dragon will step into the ring taking on the Maple Leaf Muscle Petey Williams! Black Machismo will be in the building, taking on the British Invasion: Doug Williams! Whoever the man is under the mask after he reveals himself at iMPACT! will take on X-Division star Consequences Creed! First of all, great Pay Per View for this month. Two thumbs straight up. Now onto predictions. The Briscoe Brothers and Too Cold Scorpio vs. Raven, Stevie Richards and Christopher Daniels -Three of my favorite wrestlers on the same team, so I'm pull for them to win. TLC Match, #1 Contenders To TNA World Tag Team Titles Match: Team 3D vs. The Naturals -I've just never been able to get into the Naturals for some reason. Even though they've met in the past, Team 3D is the big time team the Machine Guns need to get their title reign off of the right foot. Ultimo Dragon vs. The Masked Threat -He seems to be on a collision course with RVD. As much as I like Ultimo Dragon, I'll have to go with him. *Special Guess, Extra Point: Who IS The Masked Threat?* -I'm going to go out on a limb and say the return of Kid Kash to TNA. It just seems fitting for some reason. That's about the only person I can think of who would fit. X-Division Title Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn -Should be another classic match, but RVD wins to set up a battle with the Masked Threat. #1 Contender To Women's Title Match: Roxxi Laveaux vs. Awesome Kong -KONG~! Chris 'Abyss' Parks vs. Booker T -After his loss at the Last Pay Per View, Booker T needs a big win to get back #1 Contender To TNA World Title Match: Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage -Sets up Joe/Angle again, but should be another great match. And now for Xplosion The Ballard Brothers vs. The Naturals -I do think, the Naturals win this match. Consequences Creed vs. The Masked Threat -Seems like a real easy thing here for the Threat to handily beat Creed. Justin Credible vs. Nick Dinsmore -The only time Credible's been interesting to me is when he was being carried by Jerry Lynn. Dinsmore might be able to get some decent out of him, though. Jay Lethal vs. Doug Williams -Toss up right here. Ultimo Dragon vs. Petey Williams -Mr. Gravity Defying Piledriver beating a great legendary cruiserweight like Dragon is something I can't see happening. So Dragon for the pin. Matt Morgan vs. Tomko -As much as I like Tomko, Morgan needs the win right here.

Bashir, you know the old saying about if you put one of ours in the hospital, we put one of yours in the morgue? Well, think about it real closely and see where I'm at. Despite the gimmick and stipulation within the match, the fans weren't really that much into it at all. There was blood galore within this match, not too surprising giving the TLC part of it. Chase Stevens was put through a table with a 3D from Team 3D. And it was Brother Ray that went up and got the case with the title shot within it and Team 3D will be heading to Final Resolution! Winners: Team 3D Match Rating: D- Following the match, Shane Douglas led the Motor City Machine Guns to the ring and they attacked a weakened Team 3D! The Machine Guns used all three elements of this TLC match, putting Brother Ray through a table and took out Devon with a chair! They then set a ladder up and went to the top, posing with their TNA World Tag Team Title belts and another set of tag team title belts! What could those be? The camera zooms in and sees...The ROH World Tag Team Title belts that they stole at Final Battle! Give us a little bit of this mic time that we have been sorely lacking here in TNA. Here lately we have seen word of some type of invasion occuring here in TNA. And who knows better about an invasion than myself and Big Sexy here, huh? We were the beginners of the invasion and it was going great until that fat, old, bald guy decided he wanted a piece of the pie. And that wasn't going to work for us. But we did what we were told. Well now, chicos? Now, we're not going to do what we are told. We are going to be The Outsiders of old. And speaking of that, it's time for a little survey. Did you all come here tonight to see.....ROH? Very good crowd cheer for that! Scott Hall Or did you come here to see Big Sexy and Medium Sized Sexy? Lots of boos. Kevin Nash I don't mean to cut you off or anything here, Scott, but what do we care what they think? We're going to do what we want, when we want. And that means beating up whoever we want. You see, TNA, the measuring stick has just gotten an upgrade here tonight with the real return of The Outsiders. We are the... Kevin's words are interrupted by some familiar music. The curtains part...it's VKM! The VooDoo Kin Mafia! They've stepped out from the back and look toward the ring. BG James Hold up just a moment there. You guys are right about one thing: the measuring stick HAS changed around here. Next week, you are going to see the return of the VooDoo Kin Mafia in this very ring. Kip and myself are ready to return to tag team action and soon we'll be wearing the gold that proves we are the best in this business. But at Final Resolution we don't have any matches set up for our return so what I'm thinking here is that why don't we have the tag teams of two of the most influential groups in wrestling history go two on two at Final Resolution? That sound pretty good to you? Kip James What my partner is trying to say is that if you aren't down with that, then we got two words for ya! The crowd adds in the 'suck it' part as VKM's music kicks up again and they head on back to the back.

vs. Ultimo Dragon vs. The Masked Threat The Masked Threat came down to the ring with his usual title belt that he's been carrying around for the last few weeks. What can I say except...screw you all! You see, the Triple Threat is stronger than just one organization. We are better than each and every one of you and I prove it night after night when I defend this title belt. And I can understand why Rob Van Dam is ducking me. I wouldn't want to face me either. But you're not going to be able to duck me forever, RVD. Soon I am going to get you in this TNA ring for that TNA X-Division Title and I am going to prove to each and every idiot watching the television at home just how superior I am to all of you and just how dominant the Triple Threat can be. Shane and Roderick toss up the Triple Threat sign before leaving the ring.

vs. TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn Another very good match between these two athletes, the Whole F'N Show and the New F'N Show. Van Dam was slightly distracted at the beginning of the match both with thoughts of Sabu and with thoughts of Roderick Strong coming after him. This led to Jerry Lynn having the advantage early on in the match. Several times, Lynn got near-falls until Van Dam rolled out of the ring, talking with Bill Alfonso. Alfonso just got out of the way of a Jerry Lynn suicide dive but Van Dam did not! Lynn gave himself a double thumb point to a mix of boos and cheers from the crowd before continuing his advantage. Around 9 minutes in, Van Dam started his comeback and seemed a lot more focused on the task at hand of keeping his X-Division Title. Bill Alfonso distracted Lynn several times during this comeback. Alfonso also distracted the referee as he tossed a chair inside. Jerry Lynn picked it up and looked toward Van Dam --- low blow --- VAN DAMINATOR!! Van Dam nips up and heads to the top turnbuckle --- FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH!!! The X-Division Champion makes the cover: 1...2...3!!! Van Dam wins it! Winner: Rob Van Dam Match Rating: C

The crowd gave some boos and cheers as TNA Director of Authority Jim Cornette came out from the back and headed right toward the ring. Chants of 'ROH' and 'Ring of Honor' ring out within the crowd here. Jim just shakes his head as he pulls up a microphone. Jim Cornette I told Paul we shouldn't have come here but he didn't listen to me. He talked about how rabid you fans are here in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but to me you're all just a bunch of ROHHoles. But I didn't really come out here to talk about you. No, I came out here to talk about that other minor league that is trying to feast off our fame. I went to their pay-per-view last month and I watched as their best talent came from my TNA organization. They can't build stars of their own. No, they have to come and leech and poach off of our guys or put on crappy talent in a crappy ex-bingo hall like this. I bet they can't even fill up this bingo hall the way we can. Boos litter throughout the crowd! They really don't like what Jim Cornette has to say! Jim Cornette So now people are talking about an invasion? They're talking about ROH bringing a team of misfits and ragamuffins together and coming here to Total Nonstop Action? Well, if you want the rub, that's exactly what we'll give you. We'll rub you right on out of this business. Ring of Honor might be household words here in Philly but so are garbage, trash and ugly. My name is Jim Cornette and that is my opinion.

The camera cuts to the inside of a rather luxurious house. Sitting down on a white couch with the TNA World Heavyweight Title by his side is none other than Kurt Angle! Kurt Angle Jim Cornette gave me the night off tonight but I knew that TNA iMPACT! ratings would be down without an appearance by the man who is STILL the TNA World Heavyweight Champion and the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. Later on tonight, Samoa Joe and Christian Cage are gonna fight for the right to lose to me at Final Resolution. Personally, I don't care which one of them wins. Whether I have to beat Samoa Joe again or Christian Cage...again. Either way I am going to remain your TNA World Heavyweight Champion until I retire or decide I don't want this belt anymore. Oh, that's real. That's DAMN real! Karen Angle walks in with some lemonade and Kurt takes some, giving that old goofy smile into the camera before it fades back to the ring.

vs. #1 Contender To Women's Title Match: Roxxi Laveaux vs. Awesome Kong A pretty decent women's match to determine the top contender to the Women's Title to be defended at Final Resolution. Roxxi did her best to stay away from the power and size advantage of Awesome Kong, using some speed there but once Kong caught her it was hard for her to make any sort of comeback. Angelina Love came down to ringside late during the match as Awesome Kong was about to hit the Implant Buster on Roxxi! Love got on the apron and so did Raisha Saeed! Saeed was pointing toward Love, telling the referee to get her off the apron. Awesome Kong released Roxxi and walked over toward Angelina Love! Love sprayed something into the eyes of Awesome Kong! Kong was stunned and Roxxi rolled her up with the referee turning around: 1...2...3!!! This isn't Friday Night Smackdown. This isn't even Ring of Honor. This my friends is T N A! Now, earlier tonight Jim Cornette was right about one thing in particular: it WAS my idea to come back here to the Arena and do a TNA show. I know that all of you demand the goods here in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and I hope you haven't been disappointed with your show so far. Now, I came out here tonight to talk about that rival organization that is coming up around this area. Now, I happen to know a little something about being called the little brother of the bigger, more lucrative organizations. I also know that we should never ever ever underestimate the little guy. But here at TNA we never back down from a fight. So, if Ring of Honor is looking for a fight then we'll give them one. We'll... Paul is interrupted by the music of Team 3D! Brother Ray and Brother Devon come walking out with smiles on their faces! They slide in the ring and embrace Paul Heyman with 'ECW' chants ringing out through this hardcore crowd! Brother Ray Now, Paul, sorry to interrupt but we needed to get something off our chest. Motor City Machine Guns, you came in and kicked our asses after we just got done beating on a very good tag team. That's fine. That's all well and good. We are the most decorated tag team in the history of professional wrestling and we'll deal with you at Final Resolution. But I wanted to come out here and talk about this war with that other organization. Paul, we were both with you in that rebel organization that you came up with and we've seen the ****hole that Vince has made of that organization. It's absolutely pathetic. Now, this ROH comes along and they wanna take over where that organization left off. They're the new rebel group. Well, if they want to be a rebel, then maybe they should start with us. I am opening up a challenge for any ROH tag team to meet Team 3D in this arena next week! Brother Devon Oh testify my brother! Abyss got some chants here in Philly that were more positive than the chants that Booker got. Abyss went after Sharmell at one point and that got Booker T upset and he attacked Abyss from behind. A very good match with these two going back and forth in the early goings until Samoa Joe started taking a decided advantage. At around the 5 minute mark, Joe busted open Christian Cage with multiple kicks and punches to the face and a shot to the ringpost! He used a Washout to open Christian up even moreso. The crowd started to get behind the now-underdog Christian and Christian began his comeback around the 8 minute mark. The crowd here was rocking as Christian gave several punches and a discus clothesline to Samoa Joe! Both men lay on the mat and were slow to get to their feet. Christian kicked Samoa Joe in the gut and went for the Unprettier but Joe pushed him off and Christian collided with the referee! Christian went to the mat after hitting heads with referee Rudy Charles and Samoa Joe used the ropes to stay up. Rhino came heading out from the back toward the ring, sliding inside! Rhino held a chair in hand and he motioned to Joe to hold Christian! Joe wouldn't do it! Rhino shook his head, dropping the chair and getting into the Gore position! Christian slowly got to his feet and Rhino charged --- GORE!!! GORE!!! GORE!!! --- BUT it hit Samoa Joe! Christian moved out of the way and the Gore hit Joe! Christian picks up the chair and Rhino turns back toward him and Rhino takes a chair shot! Christian turns toward Samoa Joe --- ONE MAN CON-CHAIR-TO!!! Christian tosses the chair out of the ring and revives the referee, making the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! Christian wins it! He's gonna get one more shot at Kurt Angle at Final Resolution! Winner: Christian Cage Match Rating: C+

PREVIEW! Last week began a war with another rival promotion. This week, the war continues... ROH 3 I's Champion Roderick Strong will be defending that 3 I's Title on iMPACT! as he takes on veteran wrestler Too Cold Scorpio! Strong said he wants a match at Final Resolution. Will anyone step up? The VooDoo Kin Mafia make their return to tag team action as they take on ROH tag team The Briscoe Brothers! This should make for a very good match, indeed! The two other members of the Triple Threat, The Motor City Machine Guns, will be defending their TNA World Tag Team Titles here on iMPACT! as they take on America's Most Wanted. AMW hasn't been seen in a little bit so it will be interesting to see how they do. Last week, Roxxi Laveaux won a shot at the TNA Women's Championship at Final Resolution but tonight she will be taking on Angelina Love's partner Velvet Sky. Team 3D issued a challenge last week for any ROH tag team to show up this week and take them on. Who will step up to that challenge? Last week, Christian Cage won a shot at Kurt Angle's TNA World Title at Final Resolution but he has to make it through this week without injury. Christian will be taking on the returning Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner! Another TNA/ROH match takes place this week as the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels takes on former ROH World Champion Xavier! Last week, Angelina Love cost Awesome Kong a shot at her TNA Women's Title. This week, Awesome Kong's partner looks for revenge as Raisha Saeed takes on Angelina Love in a non title match. And our main event is a HUGE contest that the fans are really looking forward to as TNA World Champion Kurt Angle steps into a non title bout against a member of Raven's Nest: Mick Foley! Plus a special episode of In The Pit With Piper starring Roddy Piper and his special guest: Samoa Joe! What will Joe have to say about the new ROH/TNA war? Plus more action! Quick Picks! ROH vs. TNA, ROH 3 I's Title Match: Roderick Strong defends against Too Cold Scorpio ROH vs. TNA: The Briscoe Brothers vs. VooDoo Kin Mafia TNA World Tag Team Titles Match: Motor City Machine Guns defend against America's Most Wanted Velvet Sky vs. Roxxi Laveaux TNA vs. ROH: Team 3D vs. ??? *Any predictions on the ROH team? An extra point available* Scott Steiner returns against Christian Cage TNA vs. ROH: Christopher Daniels vs. Xavier Non Title: Angelina Love vs. Raisha Saeed Non Title: Kurt Angle vs. Mick Foley TNA XPLOSION! PREVIEW! Time for our next edition of XPlosion here! AJ Styles steps back into the ring for the first time since Turning Point, taking on the former member of Beer Money Inc. Robert Roode! The Briscoe Brothers step up here on XPlosion and step into the ring here with the Full Blooded Italians. Will ROH win or will TNA pick up the victory here? Awesome Kong is angry after losing last week and she looks to take it out on Christy Hemme here on XPlosion! The Latin American XChange takes on The Highlanders with Roddy Piper in their corner. And in our main event, the Blueprint Matt Morgan steps into the ring with Tomko. ROH vs. TNA, ROH 3 I's Title Match: Roderick Strong defends against Too Cold Scorpio -Strong's not going to lose his title to a TNA guy. ROH vs. TNA: The Briscoe Brothers vs. VooDoo Kin Mafia -I don't think the Voodoo Kin Mafia can man up enough and beat the Briscoes. TNA World Tag Team Titles Match: Motor City Machine Guns defend against America's Most Wanted -Machine Guns to have a solid win leading to their future match against Team 3D Velvet Sky vs. Roxxi Laveaux -Roxxi to get the win to lead to her title match against Love. TNA vs. ROH: Team 3D vs. ??? *Any predictions on the ROH team? An extra point available* -Just by looking at the teams avaiable, I'm taking an educated guess and saying the Thomasellis. Regardless, Team 3D will win. Scott Steiner returns against Christian Cage -Christian gets by just barely over scott Steiner. It's a competitive match though as Steiner's returning and Christian has a match against Angle coming up. TNA vs. ROH: Christopher Daniels vs. Xavier -Daniels just rules too much. Non Title: Angelina Love vs. Raisha Saeed -Just because champion's tend to lose non title matches more time often then not. Non Title: Kurt Angle vs. Mick Foley -However this won't be one of those times. I did raise an eyebrow at Angle wrestling Foley on free TV, but it should be a good match. And now for Xplosion. Robert Roode vs. AJ Styles -Styles to win what should be an awesome battle. ROH vs. TNA: The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Full Blooded Italians -Nice little showcase for the Briscoes here I think Awesome Kong vs. Christy Hemme -KONG~! The Highlanders vs. The Latin American XChange -If the Highlanders beat LAX, I'll riot :D Matt Morgan vs. Tomko -As much as I mark out for Tomko, I think Morgan's going to beat him tonight. Looks to be another great week of television. Keep up the good work!

Impact: ROH vs. TNA, ROH 3 I's Title Match: Roderick Strong defends against Too Cold Scorpio Roderick Strong will retain his title, because simply, Roderick Strong is better than any has been that TNA could EVER employ, SCorpio should have retired LONG ago! ROH vs. TNA: The Briscoe Brothers vs. VooDoo Kin Mafia The VooDoo Kin Mafia?! How about the "We can't figure out another gimmick" Posse? Cornette is from Kentucky, he knows what they do with old horses when they just can't perform anymore and that's what the Briscoes will do with ol' Brian James & Monty Sopp, finally put them out of their misery TNA World Tag Team Titles Match: Motor City Machine Guns defend against America's Most Wanted The only thing that the Motor City Machine Guns should be doing is coming back to Ring of Honor, with their tails between their legs to return the ROH Tag Team Titles to Kevin Steen & El Generico TNA vs. ROH: Team 3D vs. ??? *Any predictions on the ROH team? An extra point available* Could be any team that can beat Team 3D, Thomasellis, Enterprise, Outbreak, Vulture Squad, Steen & Generico, Up in Smoke, ANY of these teams can EASILY put Team 3D down... and I'm sure that they will TNA vs. ROH: Christopher Daniels vs. Xavier Xavier will make short work of The Fallen Angel, he really should just deal with it and come back home Xplosion: ROH vs. TNA: The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Full Blooded Italians A couple of Goombas beating the best brotherly tag team in wrestling? I think not..... Briscoes will again, put another team to rest Impact? Xplosion? Boy, I can't wait for ROH to have their own TV show finally... Which will be appropriately titled "THIS is WRESTLING!!!!!"
