Team Gilmore (Angry Gilmore + Guide + Scout) vs Four Kings (Ace Newton + Cameron Vessey + Casey Valentine) Four Kings, more like one king and a bunch of jobbers. Would be a major upset if Team Gilmore fell here, even with Ace's association with Rich & Remo. Ash Campbell vs Darryl Devine Devine's beginning to establish himself in the mid-card even if he still doesn't win that often, Campbell is pure job fodder and is there for mid-carders like Devine to pick up wins. Swoop McCarthy vs Payne Swoop will put a bit of fight but I think he can say G'day to being squashed by the big angry monster. John McClean vs Gino Montero Chalk up another dirty win for Sin Inc, well just McClean by his lonesome in this case. Chris Morrisette vs Nevada Nuclear The Nuke came in with a blaze of hype and has done pretty much nothing since. Then again Morrisette's draw with Sean Deeley at the last PPV, suggests he may be moving down the card and become the man to help put over rising talent. But the Nuke just hasn't done enough to warrant going over the former Lobster Warrior. Jay Chord vs Antonio Marquez for the SWF North American Championship DuBois' pal wont be bringing the belt back to Remember Tomorrow. Valiant & Giedroyc vs The Almighty Dollar Can't see the former Tag champs defeatng the dominant pairing of the World champ Rich Money and the alpha dog Remo Richardson.

We are here in beautiful New Jersey. Joining me are Jerry Eisen and RC Dodger. Jerry Eisen: Nice to meet you Marcy. RC Dodger: It's RC, Jerry, and we've met before. Jerry Eisen: Oh...
Richard Eisen In-Ring Segment Richard Eisen comes down to the ring to start the show. He is escorted by a steady stream of hatred from the crowd, but it doesn't phase the owner of the Supreme Wrestling Federation in the least. After the hatred finally quiets down a bit, Eisen speaks. He starts by reminding fans that Under Control 2008 was a fantastic show. As was Welcome to the Jungle before that. And oh, there was that absolutely classic Supreme Challenge a bit before that, too. So Eisen doesn't want the fans to forget that Let the Games Begin 2008 is coming up in a few weeks. Because the fans best not forget that the Supreme Wrestling Federation offers them the highest quality wrestling action and entertainment on the planet. The CEO of the company and GM of the brand tells the fans that they best be looking forward to Let the Games Begin, because its going to be another great show. To help make sure its a great show, the event will once again feature The Supreme Games. This years, The Supreme Games will be three ladder matches. The winner of each match will spin the prize wheel to determine just what their victory has won them. The prizes will a title shot the following week on TV, a title shot where the winner gets to choose the type of match, and the Sure Shot, an open contract for a title shot that they can cash in at any point in time. The first two Supreme Games matches will be brand-specific individual matches, where the third will be an inter-promotional tag team ladder match. The main event at the pay per view will be, as everyone expects, Rich Money against Sean McFly for the SWF World Heavyweight Championship. Though Eisen is not particularly pleased that McFly was brought back to the Supreme Wrestling Federation without his input, but its not something that Eisen can change now. So he, like the fans, will simply have to accept it. They can all thank Phil Vibert for it. This gets a pretty good cheer from the crowd. Richard Eisen also says he wants to address the accusations made by Vibert last week. Rather than acknowledge such absurd accusations, Eisen wants to remind not only Phil Vibert but all the fans that he is still the owner of the Supreme Wrestling Federation. The board might feel they hold all the power, but it really comes down to the reality that Eisen is still in charge. And he does what he wants. Grade: A
Jerry Eisen: That's true! He does do what he wants...
Ace Newton + Casey Valentine + Cameron Vessey vs Angry Gilmore + Guide + Scout A fun opening match that is fast-paced and a bit chaotic. Even with the expected outcome, the fans get behind the match. The trio of youngsters are not intimidated at all by the veteran superstars. The fans really get behind a middle sequence in the match where Newton and Gilmore go after each other with some lightning-quick action that goes back and forth. Team Gilmore is just too experienced and talented, though, with Scout getting the pinfall on Vessey after he's hit by The New Wave's Wave of Mutilation double tower leg drop finisher. Scout Wins at 10:54 via Pinfall Grade: B-
Peter Michaels: So RC, what do you think about the action on the Supreme brand? RC Dodger: Bit fast for my tastes.
Ash Campbell vs Darryl Devine A surprisingly solid match between two Generation Supreme stars. Campbell might be a second generation star, but he's consistently a step behind Devine throughout the match. The high point in the match is a sequence between Devine and his girlfriend Hannah Potter as he nearly crashes into her outside the ring. He admonishes her, as he often seems to, yelling at her while he climbs back into the ring. With Devine back in the ring but still distracted, Campbell nearly scores the upset with a quickly roll up. Devine manages to kick out, but directs future anger at Hannah. Just before the match ends, she has had enough and near tears, she disappears up the ramp as the crowd cheers her on. Her boyfriend finishes off “Joker” with a Devine Dream Drop before he realizes that she has disappeared. Darryl Devine Wins at 7:12 via Pinfall Grade: C+ Darryl Devine Backstage Segment Devine celebrates his win for several moments before he finally realizes that his girlfriend is gone. He begins searching for her, looking pained and distraught. He heads up the ramp and into the backstage area, the camera following up. He hits the backstage area in a hurry. He stops when he spies... Joss Thompson + Sean Deeley The Angsty Young Man stops long enough to check with the tag team duo, asking if they've seen Hannah. After Thompson and Deeley give a detailed and accurate description of the pretty young brunette, they assure Devine that they have never seen a female that looks anything close to that. He eyes them distrustfully, like he's about to argue with them. Then he thinks better of it, shaking his head as he walks away. The camera begins to follow Devine down the hallway, then turns back and moves back to the Badd Kompany duo. They wait until Devine is out of site, then say that the coast is clear. Hannah Potter The petite brunette emerges from behind some stacks of chairs where she was hiding. She demurely thanks the duo for their help. Deeley offers her further assistance in a gentlemanly manner. She shakes her head, saying she just needs some time away from Darryl. She loves him, but she just wishes that he would appreciate her sometimes. That she's really only trying to help, but he thinks she doesn't know the business and is just in the way. Which just isn't true – he just won't let her help like she can! As she stares at them with her huge eyes looking... uh, huge... Thompson and Deeley share a quick glance and smile. Thompson throws an arm around the young lady as he talks to her quietly, in a reassuring mannner. He is just overpowered and overwhelmed by the masked man, who hits his impressive moonsault before putting McCarthy with a Hades Bomb two-handed choke slam for the win. Tyson Baine Wins at 7:35 via Pinfall Grade: B
RC Dodger: Now that is the style of 'rassling I'm used to! They don't need it. Ace Newton does most of the talking, with Ash Campbell and Playboy Jake Sawyer helping out a bit. Newton says he has not forgotten other three Kings. Far from it. He says that every moment he spends with Rich Money and Remo helps them all, as he passes on what he learns to Campbell, Vessey, and Valentine. He also tells the fans that they best get used to seeing the Four Kings on the TV screens, as they aren't going anywhere. The Kings are the pinnacle of Generation Supreme and are going to spend a long, long time dominating the Supreme Wrestling Federation. Newton then says that he wasn't too happy to have Sean McFly come back to the SWF in the manner that he did, upstaging his mentor. So he was happy to be part of what happened to McFly last week. Furthermore, Newton would love to be the first man to face McFly in the ring on his return. Next week... if Sean McFly wants to learn what the new SWF is, this is his chance. Grade: B-

Gino Montero vs John McClean A surprisingly good match that is quite open. The young Montero gives the tag team champ all he can handle, despite being out sized. The quickness and skill of the Diablo thrills the crowd, as does his intense risk-taking. It takes some serious cheating by McClean to maintain the advantage. Then again, McClean clearly revels in playing dirty, so its probably for the best. Montero thrills the fans as he refuses to submit to McClean's McMount camel clutch, and kicks out after a Stain Removal face-buster. A second face-buster puts the smaller down for the three-count. John McClean Wins at 9:55 via Pinfall Grade: B+

Chris Morrisette vs Nevada Nuclear Another pretty solid match. The Nuke manages to hang with Morrisette for the first part of the match, but the skill and experience of the veteran soon allow him to take over. Nuclear then resorts to some dirty tactics, apparently having watched John McClean in the previous match. SM York manages some “innocent” interference and referee distractions, but its not enough for The Nuke to really take over the match and take one from Morrisette. While Sean Deeley came close at the pay per view, Nuclear is not Deeley and simply has no way to counter the slick technical wrestling that Morrisette throws at him. The veteran takes the win after a Fisherman's Suplex. Chris Morrisette Wins at 12:31 via Pinfall Grade: B+ Chris Morrisette In-Ring Segment After the win, Morrisette looks annoyed. He starts to leave the ring, then comes back and grabs a microhpone. He stalks about the ring before speaking. There is a longer delay as the crowd roars for him, which puts something of a smile on his stern face. He tells that fans that he loves them for that. But what Morrisette doesn't love is the way things are changing on Supreme TV. He says that he used to feel safe and surrounded by friends. Now he's not sure who he can count on, if anyone. Its all about the Generation Supreme guys now, and Rich Money and Remo. Its like all that Richard Eisen and the brand management care about are those two and the kids. Morrisette seems genuinely unsure of what to do and he just kind of trails off before leaving the ring. Grade: A
Jerry Eisen: The lobster man is sad.
Jay Chord vs Antonio Marquez SWF North American Championship Match This one is a solid match that goes about as expected. The youngster Chord is simply outclassed, despite putting up a decent fight. The match would like have been over quicker, but there is plenty of action at ringside that keeps things going. Chord is supported by both Marc DuBois and Steven Parker, while Gino Montero comes down to ringside for his Diablo partner, which gets a pretty good pop from the crowd. More than once, Marquez comes close to getting counted out when DuBois gets after him outside the ring, but the former champion avoids contact, preferring to use words to try to get under the skin of the current champion. Marquez makes the challenger tap with his Champagne Breakfast finisher, then stares down DuBois rather than celebrating. Antonio Marquez Wins at 12:04 via Submission Grade: B

Jack Bruce Locker Room Segment Jack Bruce is sitting in a private locker room, staring off in the distance. He has a haunted look and clearly hasn't shaven recently. The clothes he is wearing look like he's been sleeping in them. Quite simply, the former champion looks lost. He doesn't even notice someone standing in the open doorway... Sean McFly McFly knocks gently on the open door. Getting no response, he wanders in. He proceeds to thank Jack sincerely for his help last week in fighting off Rich Money. McFly admits that this sure doesn't seem like the same SWF that he left so many years ago. Things have changed. Bruce mumbles something in agreement and McFly realizes that something is wrong with the Long Island Angel. He quickly realizes what it is. Immediately taking on a “big brother” role – despite being younger than Bruce – he talks quietly with Bruce. Its a rather intimate conversation, and one-sided, as McFly explains that he knows the pain of losing a championship. To chase something for so long and then finally win it. To love that thing like you've never loved anything else. And then to lose it. You feel powerless. You feel broken. You feel like you can never love again. But there are always more chances. Even if Bruce can't get another chance while Money holds the belt, there will be opportunities in the future. The pep talk works, and Bruce seems to perk up a bit as he takes all this in. The Long Island Angel thanks The American Tiger sincerely. Bruce then suggests that they should work together as a tag team at some point and McFly agrees. Grade: A*
Peter Michaels: McFly... Bruce... Now that is an amazing duo!
The Almighty Dollar vs Valiant & Giedroyc A match that starts fairly slowly and builds throughout to a crescendo. The crowd builds throughout as well. What starts out as a fairly slowly and technical match, mostly featuring the champion Money for The Almighty Dollar, accelerates into a brawl. After Hard Cash and the Alpha Dog isolate Valiant for awhile, Giedroyc comes in roaring after the hot tag. He goes toe-to-toe with Remo and that is always a losing battle. Remo gradually takes over the match. He batters Giedroyc and then Valiant around. He downs both men with nasty Remo Buster spinebusters, including a memorable one to Giedroyc outside the ring. After Money hits his Dollars From Heaven on Valiant, Remo follows with The Destroyer, which gives up the three count. Remo Wins at 17:53 via Pinfall Grade: B+ Rich Money + Remo Post-Match Segment As the victorious duo celebrate, the fans react negatively. But that doesn't last long, because new faces appear through the Supreme Gate.... Angry Gilmore, Jessie, Guide + Scout The crowd loves Team Gilmore as they make their way through the Supreme Gate and down the ramp. Jessie and The New Wave follow Gilmore as he stalks right into the ring, grabbing a microphone on the way. He squares up to the champion and his friend, showing no fear. He goes back and forth, starting at each of them. Finally, after a long moment, he points at Remo. Gilmore goes on one of his rants, saying that he wants the shot at Rich Money that he's earned. That he has not only earned it in the ring over the past few months, but the shot he earned for all the time he spent doing Money's dirty work when Gilmore first got to the Supreme Wrestling Federation. Oh, Angry hasn't forgotten those days. The promises that Money made about taking Gilmore to the top, and about how he abandoned him when it came time to pay up on those promises. I'm not stuipd, though, Gilmore assures everyone. He knows that Sean McFly will be the one getting the title shot at Let the Games Begin. So Gilmore will settle for another chance at Remo. He gets right up in Remo's face when he says it, and Remo shoves him away, then agrees to the match. They stare each other down in the center of the ring as the show fades out... Grade: A

I have a hard enough time trying to keep storylines straight with a regional fed. And IMO, the semi-random discussion is one of the best parts of your diary. Can't wait to see what you have coming up.
Question: What are Hannah Potter's stats right now? I don't need all of them, just the relevant ones. :)
I'll have to check when I'm at home and have the game in front of me. I know she improved pretty decently at RIPW, though I did pull her before I would have liked, because of the storyline. She definitely did improve in her six months in development... unlike Emmy, who didn't improve at all and is now unemployed. Even with a bit better Entertainment skills, I still use Potter in angles based on Sex Appeal. The same for almost all the female workers on the roster. The exceptions are Jessie, who can be rated on Overness (A*), or Emma Chase who can be rated on either Entertainment or Overness (A*).
Congrats on getting this far with such a massive company/roster. I have a hard enough time trying to keep storylines straight with a regional fed. As I recently discussed with someone, I'm very happy with how the brand split went down and how its worked. But I dislike the fact that I bloated my roster to the point it became necessary. Its a lot more work to write, and I assume a great deal less concise to read. I'm appreciate that my work is still enjoyed, though. I have to admit that I really do enjoy the random discussion stuff. I would miss that interaction with the readers if I had to cut it out for some reason. I do realize it might annoy some readers, who are just looking for new shows and not stuff about my level of burnout or music selection. So to them, I apologize. To everyone else, discussion is welcome!

A number of choices were given, from regulars in the booth like Richard Eisen to unlikely choices, including some not even currently employed by the Supreme Wrestling Federation. After a surprising number of votes, one clear winner emerged. And it wasn't the expected top choices like Mr. Eisen, Sara Silver, or even The Guru. It was popular manager Grandmaster Bling, the Prince of Phunk. Now managing former world champion Enygma since his return to the Supreme Wrestling Federation, Bling remains popular with fans. Extremely popular, it would seem. Fans should be aware that this poll was put on by SWF.com, not the promotion management. However, you can bet that management is paying attention and don't be surprised if you see the Grandmaster in the announcers booth soon enough... Kyle Roades?! That's 3 votes too many. That guy is horribe. TCW needs a new color commentator EVERY time I use them. Seriously, Floyd Goldworth is a better color commentator. A promotion like TCW and SWF can do way better than Kyle Rhodes. And good for Grandmaster Phunk, except he wants to be a wrestler... oh well :p

Phew..54 pages. That's a lot in less than a week, but it's worth it. You've managed to vastly change the entire landscape of SWF in a matter of months, but without it seeming rushed - quite the accomplishment, good sir. And I love the Rich Money reign, not just because of how well it's being written, but because Money really deserves it. Waited patiently in the Upper Midcard for quite a few years before that trigger's pulled. Agreed with everyone else on the Random Thoughts, they are quite looked forward to.

I actually haven't mentioned anything about that in the Random Thoughts for awhile... Hmm... I was planning to do one before I do anything with the Legends show. I had a few ideas, but nothing that has to be done. So I'll see what I can come up with...
Phew..54 pages. That's a lot in less than a week, but it's worth it. I have changed the SWF, and probably more than I intended at the start. I also regret that I've gotten away from some of the comedy and light-hearted stuff. I used to look on the Lobster Warrior gimmick as stupid and looked for a way to end it, which I now regret, as I see the value it would have had.

It's sort like what happened to Shane Helms. I thought his comic book hero gimmick was stupid... until they decided to drop it from him. I immediately saw why it's a bad idea to drop it. In any case, what do you think Kyle Roades? Would you have appointed Roades even if he got the plurality of the votes? I wouldn't. Heck, I wouldn't even offer him as a choice.

That's one area I think my vision of SWF lacked in. Obviously my SWF isn't modeled absolutely after the WWE, but the level of Comedy in the product setting tells me it should be a bit more prevelanet. I guess I could change things up now, but I think it would be awkard to do it abruptly. No, I wouldn't have signed Rhodes. Or Sneer. Or even used Avatar in that capacity if he won. I'm not 100% sold on using the Grandmaster - we'll see it works in the first couple of shows. If it doesn't come across in the writing, it will change again. Oh, and I managed to look up Hannah Potter's stats for you. Microphone - C- Charisma - B- Acting - C Sex Appeal - A* Star Quality - B-

Shane Sneers isn't bad. I think he's a good color commentator. Problem is, there's a lot better ones in the SWF... including a LOT of wrestlers. I think the other problem is that he's the booker for USPW. Generally speaking, I think my general requirements are an absolute MINIMUM of B- in Charisma, Microphone, and Acting. Of course, I'll take the best I can get. Since you already have Phil Vibert on one show, that might not be an option. My second choice would be Adrian Garcia, followed by Sara Silver, then Shane Sneer. I try to avoid using wrestlers as "main" color commentators. Ana Garcia isn't a bad color, but there's just so many better options. Emma Chase is another good one, but I rather have as a manager.

For me, B- would be the bare minimum in the SWF. I'm usually looking for B in those areas for a Color Commentator. And you are correct - I do have plenty of options. I don't like using wrestlers other than the occassion drop-in show, though Money is fun and easy to write in the booth. Richard Eisen is easy, but I think it takes away from him as the GM a bit if he's in the booth too. I like the idea of an outright heel commentator, as no one else in the booth's is really. Managers that have a use in that role are tough. I know they can do both, but I don't particularly that idea. Which is why Emma Chase isn't really being considered. Adrian Garica - an easy choice, but he's managing Payne and involved in that storyline, meandering though it may be... Sara Silver - I like her in the role, but she's managing as well... and that's going to going to become more important soon enough... RC Dodger - well, he's a manager at the moment, though that's a bit of a mess right now. He might be without any role at all soon enough... Grandmaster Bling - similar to Doger, though there are some plans for Enygma and Bling. He's one of the better choices, and I think I came make the dual role work for him...
If I ever do a diary, I might chose to NOT make Emma Chase a manager. That would reduce her role quite a bit, but she's the best color commentator in the game.
She's a helluva commentator, but its kind of a waste. With her Entertainment skills and Sex Appeal, she helps out in angles a ton so long as you have her rated on her strengths. Its easy to get her Overness up, which helps even more. While there are few better color commentators in the game, there are also few better managers. And a manager can help workers get over big time, while a color commentator just adds a wee bit to the segment ratings.

I say keep Bling with Enygma. I like Enygma, and I'm not really sure why. Maybe because I don't like the idea of a World Champ being pushed all the way down to jobber level, and I'm sympathetic, maybe because when I signed him to my TCW game, he ended up having WAY better matches then he had any right to, I don't know, but I do. Speaking of Bling, that could make a good Random Thought story. Two differant roles that he's being looked at for, and neither are the in-ring one that he so craves..

Random thought of the day… sometimes the wrong role is right... or is that the right role is wrong? "I don't want to be a commentator," Danny told me flatly. I sighed. This was not going to go well. "I realize that," I responded. "But sometimes its not about what you want to do, but what you're going to do well. And you will do well as a commentator." "Yeah? How do you figure that?" I almost dropped another sigh, more exasperated this time, but I held back. Instead, I told him, "You're great on the microphone. You're charismatic. You're quick. You have great timing. I'll be any money that you'll mesh well with Peter and probably do better than Jerry." Danny said nothing. I wasn't sure if he was contemplating or sulking. Finally, he offered me this: "So we're changing everything because of some stupid poll on the website." I shook my head, but not too quickly. "No," I countered, "the poll just confirmed what we were already thinking." I paused for a second, leaning forward on the desk. "Look, we need a regular in the third seat on Supreme. Peter and Jerry are good, but they work better when there is a third in there." Though I wouldn't to say it to a roster talent, it really came down to the fact that Peter couldn't do it alone. Jerry had never been a great color commentator, and the "brain damaged" gimmick he was still working through didn't help matters. Danny was silent again, and I knew he was contemplating this time. Considering it. So I continued, "We wouldn't take you out of the manager role on Legends. We want to see how the commentator role works before we make a commitment to having you on there full-time. If it doesn't work, it doesn't look like a failed experiment, since we've been rotating people through that seat for months now." "I suppose," the manager mused. I knew I was winning him over. When Danny was hired back to the Supreme Wrestling Federation a few months ago, it had been with the explicit knowledge that he would not be working as an in ring talent. But I always sensed he still resented that a bit. Though his best role was as a manager and he was was most useful to the promotion as a manager, he couldn't get over the desire to be an in-ring competitor. Danny's story in this business was an interesting one, though not that unique. He started training as a wrestler in his early 20s, and got regular work on the independent circuit during the East Coast Wars. He wasn't bad in the ring, but he stood out because of how entertaining he was on the microphone. He worked regularly as both a manager and a wrestler, the fans loving to hate the pimp gimmick he had come up with himself. When he made the jump to the SWF, it was because of his gimmick and entertainment skills. The delicious irony was that he had done what every indy worker needed to do to get noticed - find a great gimmick - but it worked too well and got him to the big leagues, but not in the role he wanted. He left Supreme because he couldn't rid of the desire to be something more than what he was, but he came back because the lure of the big league was too strong. A conflicted man. He stared at the show script that he held in his hand. The top page was the basic booking sheet - just a list of segments and expected lengths for the entire 2-hour SWF Legends show that was going to go live in a few hours. The rest of the document, about 8 pages, was the script. It wasn't as detailed as it could be - just a few notes on each segment and match. There were times in the past when the SWF apparently fully scripted every non-wrestling segment entirely, so that the workers became more like actors. That never seemed natural. Unless someone was very inexperienced on the microphone or couldn't be trusted, I always felt a better approach was giving them the basics of what was needed and letting them run with it. If they were not good on the microphone or couldn't be trusted, they weren't getting the TV time anyway. Danny looked over the few notes I had for his segment. He smiled as he read it again. "This is pretty good," he admitted. "Fun idea." "I thought so." He frowned and put the script down on his lap. Scratching at his goatee, he commented, "I dunno, man, sometimes I think I just shoulda stayed in New York..." I like to think my poker face stayed in place, but it may have dropped. If it did, Danny probably saw a strange range of emotions play across my face. Did he believe he was the only person in the Supreme Wrestling Federation facing a situation where their role wasn't exactly what they wanted? Hell, half the roster could probably make a claim to that. But few could empathize more than me. My solution had become to simply put it out of mind. To not think about it. But every so often, it would bubble to the surface and I would face a sour mash of emotions - anger, disappointment, and even a bit of shame. Yes, even shame. Because my family couldn't understand why I had given up my education to pursue a dream as strange as professional wrestling, and they really couldn't even begin to understand why I was working for the biggest wrestling promotion in the world but in a non-wrestling role. Every so often, I had the urge to bring it up to Richard. To mention that I wouldn't mind working a few matches on Generation Supreme, or even at a house show. To remind him that I trained with the DeColt family. That I was a pretty good amateur wrestling before that. That I showed enough to get hired by the SWF as a developmental wrestler. And that while I might not be the second coming of Tom Gilmore, I am pretty good in the ring. But what's the point of bringing it up, when I know that Richard would just deflect by saying it was something we could look at down the road. So I'm a non-wrestler, despite where my desires still lie. Desires that I have attempted to bury deep but still have the boil up to the surface very so often. As shallow as it sounds, I might feel a bit better about the whole situation if Eisen would finally give the Head Booker title he's been promising for awhile now. I keep getting more and more of the duties and keep getting new job titles, but Peter Michaels remains the Head Booker. I know it isn't Michaels trying to hang on, as he would gladly hand everything. Its Richard holding back for fear of me failing and him looking bad for trusting a kid with limited experience in the business with such an important position. But being given the title of Head Booker isn't really about the autonomy or pay raise that it would mean... Its really about my family being able to understand just how important my role in this company is. So while I certainly can emphasize with Danny, I really don't. Instead, I told him, "Look, sometimes it isn't about what you want to do. Its about what you can do and what you're needed to do." He didn't look happy, but he nodded. He finally said, "Yeah, you're right. I'll get working on the promo. Gotta make it good." "Sounds good," I told him as he stood and made his way out of the office. I took a deep breath and shoved the thoughts about not being happy in my role out of my mind. I had too much to do before the show started. I grabbed the stack of scripts and headed off to find a few more workers that I had to give a few important points to. This was going to be an important show tonight and I was determined that it would go over well. Even I wasn't always happy in the role I had, that didn't stop me from trying to do the best d*mned job I could in it. I could only hope the rest of the roster approached it the same. News, rumors, and interviews, all brought to you by the incomparable Duane Fry. Preview for podcast available Wednesday, Week 4, September 2008 "The action on SWF Legends is always intense. But tonight could be especially intense. The is one that fans should see!" "Who will face Christian Faith at Let the Games Begin? That is a question that everyone is asking. With Richard Eisen confirming that Rich Money will face Sean McFly for the SWF World Heavyweight Championship at the coming pay per view, everyone is now looking at Eric Tyler to see who he will put against Christian Faith. Who will compete with the Supreme Legend for the SWF Supreme Championship? And will Faith even still have that belt?" "Eric Tyler might be more clever than many fans give the Legends brand General Manager credit for. Realizing that an alliance of sorts seems to be forming between Faith, Chris Caufield, and Troy Tornado, the GM has made a move to try to cancel that out. The main event this week is Christian Faith putting his belt the line against Bloodstone and... Troy Tornado. The match will be a Threefold Threat™ match. Can any growing alliance between Faith and Tornado survive that?" "Who or what are the Silverback's? Sara Silver has promised to make an introduction on the show. Is there any way this can live up to the expectations that the agent has managed to build? The hype amongst fans has been serious, and its likely that the actual reveal won't deliver. That's my opinion, at least." "After moving to the Legends brand last week, Art Reed has his first match. He will take on Kurt Laramee in what should be a good match." "This is going to be a great night. Don't miss out! SWF Legends... only on CBA!"
