Upset Owner Question

I'm a way off ending my owner goals, so i'm not really too fussed about this because chances are i'll never last that long in the game, but thought i'd ask anyways. I got a new item saying Tommy Dreamer (my owner) was on the radio and put me over, we had a friendship created, and thought nothing of it. I've recently signed someone from a Cult promotion (which i was told not to do) and have upset Dreamer to the lowest face. Because of my friendship, would i still be removed from my job? Or would it be like the contract reneweals where he'd step in to keep ahold of me? Sorry if that doesn't make much sense lol and cheers for any help you can give me :)
