[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] Following the introduction of the talent initiative, Dusty Rhodes has announced that Ashcroft6 and Jacobs will once again take on La Resistance in a rematch from last week. Rhodes is said to be high on both these young stars, and a win this week could help them push towards an eventual title shot! Last week saw Rhodes make a huge announcement regarding Sean Morley's ECW Title. The tournament that was set up will have it's first match, or matches this week. The winners will be in the title match at Revenge is Sweet, the losers will be in the "Fittest of the Fit" number 1 contenders tournament that same night. M2N retained their titles at WrestleMania, but face a tought test this week when they take on the Tag Twins in a non title match. No other matches are confirmed, but reports circulating are rumouring a shock appearance for one superstar this week! [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] We are welcomed to this weeks ECW on Sci-Fi by ECW Champion Sean Morley standing in the ring with a mic. He proceeds to tell us all that he is unhappy about Dusty Rhodes making this "Elimination Series" leading upto the PPV, because he cannot prepare for 5 men in such short time! He tells us all however that the name plate that is on his title now, will be the same one following the PPV! [b]Rating: B+[/b] As Morley is set to leave the ring, Copa Cabana sounds around the arena and the ECW European champion Colt Cabana makes his way out. He grabs hold of a mic and says that he hasn't had much opportunity to show himself to the big boys of ECW, and that he would like to show Sean Morley that he can beat him! He offers up his title for the chance, and Morley accepts! [b]Rating: B[/b] Roderick Strong walks out to the ring, he is followed Jaydon Jeter who is making a rare TV appearance. Jeter is dominated from start to finish, Strong takes the victory with a Death by Roderick in just under 5 minutes! [b]Roderick Strong defeated Jaydon Jeter in 4:41 by pinfall with a Death By Roderick.[/b] The cameras cut backstage where we see Dynamyte and Hayakawa Itsuko trying to talk to each other, Dynamyte is in her demonic rambling state, and Itsuko is screaming in Japanese, both take it in turns to talk without the other really understanding! [b]Rating: B+[/b] Dynamyte and Itsuko make their way out to the ring together, still rambling to each other, Pietra Riccardi walks out and is followed by ECW Vixen's Champion Amie Gooding. The vixens put on a good show, Riccardi ultimately playing the face in peril role, a hot tag to the champ see's the babyfaces take the advantage just as we hit the 5 minute mark. Riccardi blind tags herself in, she tries to plead her case to Amie but is caught with a backslide by Itsuko to lose the match much to Amie's dissapointment! [b]Dynamyte and Hayakawa Itsuko defeated Amie Gooding and Pietra Riccardi in 5:22 when Hayakawa Itsuko defeated Pietra Riccardi by pinfall.[/b] Daniel Ashcroft and Wesley Jacobs make their way out to the ring for a rematch from last week. La Resistance walk out with a ****y swagger. They get in the ring and the bell sounds. Half way through the match M2N walk out to ringside, as La Res are distracted, Ashcroft hits a Brainbuster on Grenier as Jacobs waits on the top turnbuckle, he then hits a picture perfect Shooting Star Press for the surprise victory! [b]Daniel Ashcroft and Wesley Jacobs defeated La Resistance in 4:33 when Wesley Jacobs defeated Sylvain Grenier by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press after a distraction from Nick Nemeth. During the match we also had Mike Mondo distract Rene Dupree.[/b] After picking up the win, Ashcroft and Jacobs go into the crowd to celebrate! [b]Rating: D[/b] Their celebrations are cut short as a video hits the big screen of a Young Dragon learning to fly [b]Rating: F[/b] Marco Petrucci makes his way out to the ring, he waits for his partner Shelton Benjamin to walk out and join him. ECW Television Champion Kofi Kingston walks out towards the ring, but waits for tajiri before entering. A solid match between these four workers, Shelton has his hands full with Tajiri whilst Petrucci and Kingston go at it. Kingston is momentarily distracted by Shelton and turns round into a huge Goldberg like Spear from Petrucci! Petrucci pins the ECW TV Champion! [b]Marco Petrucci and Shelton Benjamin defeated Kofi Kingston and Tajiri in 6:54 when Marco Petrucci defeated Kofi Kingston by pinfall with a Spear.[/b] Petrucci walks out of the ring as Kofi begins to stand, the two stare each other down before Petrucci motions that Kofi's title will soon be around his waist! [b]Rating: C[/b] ECW Original Tommy Dreamer walks out to a good reception, Britains finest William Regal walks out as slow as is humanly possible to draw as much heat as possible! A poor match in all honesty, Dreamer really doesn't do his best to hide his flaws here, Regal just picks apart Dreamer until hitting a Regal Cutter for the win in just after 10 minutes. [b]William Regal defeated Tommy Dreamer in 10:04 by pinfall with a Regal Cutter after a distraction from Kane.[/b] Joey Styles and Tazz hype up the return of john Morrison! [b]Rating: B-[/b] In what could well be one of the shortest upsets in ECW Tag Team History, Tag Twins defeated the Tag Champs M2N after La Resistance beat down the champions. La Res, seemingly upset following their earleir loss, took out their frustrations on M2N and allowed the tag Twins to just sit back and watch. Nick Nemeth was the unlucky one to be hit with an Air Raid Siren by Chad for the decisive victory! [b]Tag Twins defeated M2N in 4:50 when Chad Graham defeated Nick Nemeth by pinfall with an Air Raid Siren. During the match we also saw Rene Dupree run in and attack Mondo, and Sylvain Grenier also attack Nemeth.[/b] The cameras cut to the locker room where we see Marco Petrucci having just gotten out of the shower, talking with newcomer Davide Simeone in Italian. We hear The GraveDigger mentioned, but no one knows what they're on about! [b]Rating: B+[/b] Up next, European Title on the line, Sean Morley walks out, and is followed by a hyper active Colt Cabana. These two put on a great match, probably match of the night, these two had great chemsitry and the fans were all over it! Morley didn't look weak in this match, but neither did Cabana, both men took the fight to each other. Cabana escaped a Final Resolution but fell to a brutal DDT. Morley climbed to the top, and looked to hit the as of yet renamed Money Shot, but he took too long to taunt Cabana. Cabana nipped up and caught Morley with a Superplex, as they both landed, they lifted their legs up to hook each other, and both men were counted for the 3 count! [b]Sean Morley drew with Colt Cabana in 10:08 after a double pin.[/b] Before we can get an arguement out of the two, camera's cut backstage where ChainSaw is being bruatally assaulted by the Big Scarred Machine Kane! Kane beats down on ChainSaw leaving the big man laying in a pool of blood! Looks like ChainSaw's not in tonights main event! [b]Rating: B-[/b] As with last week, the 3 man main event became a singles match once again! Big Show and vader took each other on in the rematch they wanted and in all honesty, it was better than their initial match! Alot of brawl based moves coming out of this match with neither man willing to back down. Ultimately Big Show took the victory after hitting Vader with a Show Stopper. [b]Big Show defeated Vader in 8:32 by pinfall with a Show Stopper.[/b] Kane appears on the big screen, he's holding something in his hand, but we can't quite make out what, he talks to himself, laughing as the feed turns to black and ECW on Sci-Fi ends.... [quote][b]Rating: B+[/b] [u][b]Quick Results[/b][/u] [b]Roderick Strong[/b] defeated Jaydon Jeter in 4:41 by pinfall with a Death By Roderick. - D- [b]Dynamyte and Hayakawa Itsuko[/b] defeated Amie Gooding and Pietra Riccardi in 5:22 when Hayakawa Itsuko defeated Pietra Riccardi by pinfall. - C [b]Daniel Ashcroft and Wesley Jacobs[/b] defeated La Resistance in 4:33 when Wesley Jacobs defeated Sylvain Grenier by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press after a distraction from Nick Nemeth. During the match we also had Mike Mondo distract Rene Dupree. - D [b]Marco Petrucci and Shelton Benjamin[/b] defeated Kofi Kingston and Tajiri in 6:54 when Marco Petrucci defeated Kofi Kingston by pinfall with a Spear. - C- [b]William Regal[/b] defeated Tommy Dreamer in 10:04 by pinfall with a Regal Cutter after a distraction from Kane. - C+ [b]Tag Twins[/b] defeated M2N in 4:50 when Chad Graham defeated Nick Nemeth by pinfall with an Air Raid Siren. [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] ECW have come to terms for the release of Bubba Ray Dudley. ECW wishes Bubba the best in his future endevours.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] Diego Digou has made himself public enemy number 1 within ECW right now, following last weeks ECW on Sci-Fi Digou informed Bubba that due to an incident backstage he would be released from his contract. It is understood that the incident was a physical fight with ECW Champion Sean Morley in the locker room following Morley's return to the ring after his match with Colt Cabana. Tommy Dreamer is said to be furious with this decision due to his friendship with Bubba, whilst other workers such as Danny Doring, D-Von Dudley and even some of the company's developmental stars have voiced their opnions on the move. No further reports are available at present[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/wz_banner.jpg[/img] Prior to this weeks ECW on Sci-Fi, D'Lo Brown defeated Kevin Thorn in just under 6 minutes with a Low Down, Thorn then grabbed a mic and demanded a match against someone a little more suited to his style, and Brian Daniels accepted. Daniels then beat Thorn in roughly the same time as D'Lo with an Arms Across America. Would definately appear as though Thorn's on his way out[/quote] [COLOR="White"]...[/COLOR]

[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] In the final ECW on Sci-Fi of April, Pietra Riccardi looks to make amends for her loss last week in the Vixens tag match by taking on the woman that pinned her, Hayakawa Itsuko. Itsuko is determined to prove she is worthy enough of a Vixens title shot, whilst Riccardi will be looking to prove she's deserving of being a contender somewhere along the line. Will it be third time lucky for the big men this week? Big Show vs Vader vs ChainSaw will now have been booked 3 times in a row as a WrestleMania rematch, but each week has seen Kane attack one member of the main event! This week is surely Vader's turn, and he will have to keep his eyes peeled for an assault of some sort! There is alot riding on this match, as the winner will be given the first place in the Elimination Series at Revenge is Sweet. Colt Cabana will have to earn a rematch with Sean Morley despite pinning the champion last week. Cabana will team with ECW owner Tommy Dreamer to take on ECW Champion Sean Morley and Cabana's recent rival, William Regal. Finally, a huge 8 man tag match has been added to this week's show, La Resistance team with the Tag Twins to take on newcomers Ashcroft and Jacobs and ECW Tag champs M2N! [u][b]Confirmed Matches:[/b][/u] Hayakawa Itsuko vs Pietra Riccardi La Resistance/Tag Twins vs Ashcroft and Jacobs/M2N Colt Cabana/Tommy Dreamer vs Sean Morley/William Regal Elimination Series Qualifier: Big Show vs ChainSaw vs Vader

[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] As we start to settle into our seats, people recognise Kevin Thorn wrestling some unknown worker. The unknown worker picks up the victory in just under 7 minutes with a Flying Bodypress [b]Unknown Worker defeated Kevin Thorn in 6:56 by pinfall with a Flying Bodypress.[/b] The show opens with little fanfare as we run straight into the action with Hayakawa Itsuko taking on Pietra Riccardi. Riccardi tries in vain to over power the veteran Itsuko but fails, and falls to a schoolgirl roll up. [b]Hayakawa Itsuko defeated Pietra Riccardi in 3:55 by pinfall.[/b] Itsuko rambles on in Japanese as she targets ECW Vixen's Champion Amie Gooding [b]Rating: B+[/b] "You're looking at the real deal now..." Out steps D'Lo Brown for his ECW Television debut, D'Lo grabs a mic and tells us "I'm D'lo, and i'm here to stay!" [b]Rating: D+[/b] D'Lo waits in the ring for his opponent and out steps Brian Daniels. The two don't wrestle to much fanfare, D'Lo wins his debut with a Low Down. [b]D'Lo Brown defeated Brian Daniels in 4:56 by pinfall with a Low Down.[/b] Colt Cabana walks out with a mic in hand, he cuts a pretty good promo on Sean Morley telling him he had his number last week, and that in all but the record books, he pinned the ECW World Champion and deserves a rematch! [b]Rating: B-[/b] Jimmy Yang makes his way out to the ring for a rare singles appearance, his opponent? Marco Petrucci. Petrucci dominates Yang from bell to bell, Yang gets little offence in and is hit with a Petrucci Driver, Petrucci goes for a cover but notices Kofi Kingston walk out, he argues with the TV Champ for a while as Yang tries to sneak a roll up victory, Petrucci rolls through and grabs a handful of tights as the ref counts for the 3! [b]Marco Petrucci defeated Jimmy Yang in 3:35 by pinfall with a handful of tights. During the match we also had Kofi Kingston distract Petrucci.[/b] We cut to the back as we see Ashcroft and Jacobs talking with M2N, hyping up their upcoming 8 man tag match! [b]Rating: D+[/b] The faces walk out first, and are followed by La Resistance and Tag Twins. Not the type of tag match we've grown used to, very bland, very few weapons used, but alot of tags. Rene Dupree picked up the victory for his team when Daniel Ashcroft was hit with a Death Valley Driver. [b]La Resistance and Tag Twins defeated Daniel Ashcroft, Wesley Jacobs and M2N in 6:27 when Rene Dupree defeated Daniel Ashcroft by pinfall with a Death Valley Driver.[/b] The young flying Dragon is shown on the screen again, this time he's flying under the wing of his father [b]Rating: F+[/b] As Marco Petrucci changes, Davide Simeone walks in, the two talk in Italian and Simeone says something about a new Italian on ECW! [b]Rating: B+[/b] La Vittoriiiiiiiiia è Miaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa blasts around the arena and the crowd wait in anticipation at the man they know has joined ECW from Raw....Santino Marella! Marella makes his way out as he awaits his opponent, Nunzio! Nunzio gets in most of the offence, he misses a few chances to put the match away and it costs him as Marella locks in a Standing Arm bar submission hold and it proves too much for Nunzio. [b]Santino Marella defeated Nunzio in 4:26 by submission with a Standing Arm Bar.[/b] Marella grabs the house mic and demands a better napponent for next week! [b]Rating: C+[/b] In the third of four advertised matches, ECW Champion Sean Morley teams with William Regal to take on the make shift team of ECW European Champion Colt Cabana and Tommy Dreamer. The two teams work well together, several tags between each other, Morley constantly keeping away from Cabana. Finish came when Dreamer was "tagged" in by Cabana, Morley locked in and hit the Spike Piledriver for the victory, ending Cabana's hopes of a title rematch! [b]Sean Morley and William Regal defeated Colt Cabana and Tommy Dreamer in 7:50 when Sean Morley defeated Tommy Dreamer by pinfall with a Spike Piledriver.[/b] Shelton Benjamin hypes up the upcoming return of John Morrison. [b]Rating: C+[/b] Kane makes a rare appearance in an ECW ring rather than a backstage attack, he takes on his "cousin" The GraveDigger. An all out big man brawl between these two, all the stops were pulled out to make this match an enjoyable match for the fans. Davide Simeone swaggers out to the ring and distracts GraveDigger who turns right into a brutal looking Chokeslam. [b]Kane defeated The GraveDigger in 15:20 by pinfall with a Chokeslam after a distraction from Davide Simeone.[/b] GraveDigger rolls out of the ring to chase off Simeone and Kane decides to give chase too! Simeone escapes and GraveDigger continues searching, he soon goes as Kane is still on the search for him! [b]Rating: B[/b] Kane turns a corner and see's Vader laughing at something on TV, he charges him down and assaults the big man, chokeslamming him onto, and through, the same TV! [b]Rating: B[/b] With Vader now out of the triple threat the Main Event once again became a singles match, this time pitting the Big Show against ChainSaw! These two put on a good match, ChainSaw putting in a good effort considering he was not expected to be a major player in ECW. ChainSaw fails to hit his Northern Lights Driver-esk finisher on the much larger Show, and is caught with a Show Stopper to end ECW on Sci-Fi! [b]Big Show defeated ChainSaw in 9:42 by pinfall with a Show Stopper.[/b] [quote][u][b]Quick Results[/b] [b]Pre Show[/b][/u] [b]Unknown Wrestler[/b] defeated Kevin Thorn in 6:56 by pinfall with a Flying Bodypress. - D [u][b]Show[/b][/u] [b]Hayakawa Itsuko[/b] defeated Pietra Riccardi in 3:55 by pinfall. - C [b]D'Lo Brown[/b] defeated Brian Daniels in 4:56 by pinfall with a Low Down. - D- [b]Marco Petrucci[/b] defeated Jimmy Yang in 3:35 by pinfall with a handful of tights. [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] As seen this past week, Santino Marella made his ECW debut. Marella had originally signed for ECW 2 weeks ago, however, to keep the move a secret, Marella made 2 more WWE appearances before his jump. One for Raw just after agreeing the move, and one on SmackDown! last week. ECW can confirm that Bubba Ray Dudley (Mark LoMonaco) was released from his contract due to a physical confrontation with ECW Champion Sean Morley. Bubba had been on thin ice due to an unrelated incident the week prior, and head booker Diego Digou argued his case enough to ECW Owner Tommy Dreamer to release one half of the popular tag team. We can finally confirm the return of ECW Hardcore TV. The show that was once ECW's flagship show will now see the future stars of ECW compete as they try for more TV time and more exposure in the hope of a push onto a regular ECW on Sci-Fi slot. Hardcore TV will return next month and will air on Mondays on the Sci-Fi channel.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/allWrestlingNews.gif[/img] D-Von Dudley will not be on television for quite some time following the release of his "brother". D-Von has been sent to CZCW and is expected to return with a new gimmick and could well be in line for a push once he makes his return. Sean Waltman, who still has not debuted on ECW Television, is said to be scheduled to make an appearance at the upcoming PPV, how they will tie him into it is unknown at the moment, but it is said that Waltman has to be clean when the in house drug testing is done at this weeks show. In CZCW, Matt Bentley defeated Ricky DeVoe for the CZCW Intercontinental championship, DeVoe was given a steady push since his move from GWPE, but that appears to have ended with this title loss.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] TNA have recently cut a large amount of their roster due to financial troubles and a drop in "size". Amongst these workers were Tomko, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal. ECW is said to be interested in Lethal and Tomko, although Tomko is not "eligible" for a move due to his basic wrestling knowledge not being to Dreamer's standards. Rumours are circulating about the "Dragon" identity from the video's that have been shown. Many are speculating it could be a cheap plug for a Yang change of character, a Jamie Noble debut, or any one of the "Jung Dragons" from WCW, those however appear as long shots.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/topimage.jpg[/img] The "Unknown Wrestler" from last weeks dark show has still not been identified, he was billed as being from Puerto Rico and was called as the Unknown Wrestler, we hope to get more information on this superstar in the coming weeks. News is slow regarding Revenge is Sweet's matches, we only really know of 2 matches, the Elimination Series main event, and the Fittest of the Fit challenge that will be ECW's extreme equivelant of Money in the Bank.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/wz_banner.jpg[/img] Despite what was rumoured earlier, ECW have signed Sonjay Dutt to a developmental deal. He is expected to go down for some ring "training" even though he believes he should start on the active roster. It was reported 2 weeks ago that Oleg Prudius was approached by TNA, it is believed he agreed a deal with them verbally, however, this past Sci-Fi tapings, Oleg agreed a new deal with ECW that will allow him to still compete down in FCW. Many believe that once Prudius loses his FCW Heavyweight title, he will be re-signed once again, only this time to a written contract.[/quote] [COLOR="White"]...[/COLOR]

[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] The final ECW on Sci-Fi before Revenge is Sweet is upon us, and it is sure to be a packed show! As seen last week, ECW's newest member Santino Marella demanded a better "napponent" for this week, sources say an ECW Original has answered the call, who could it be? It would seem the big man main event has been scrapped, as this week sees ChainSaw replaced by Kane, will the Big Scarred Machine do the job in the ring, or will he resort to his pre match assaults as has been seen in recent weeks? In a number one contenders match for the Tag Titles, new comers Daniel Ashcroft and Wesley Jacobs take on not only La Resistance, but also the divisions considered number 1 contenders, the tag Twins. Will the youngsters be able to deliver an upset to the two established teams? or will they fall victim to either of the bigger teams? Finally, Sean Morley will take on ECW TV champion Kofi Kingston. No titles will be on the line, but both men will be looking to pick up a win heading into Revenge is Sweet! [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] We get in early enough to see the pre show this week, Brian Daniels is in the ring with Kevin Thorn. In all hoensty it's a very poor match, Daniels picks up the win with an Arms Across America. [b]Brian Daniels defeated Kevin Thorn in 7:46 by submission with an Arms Across America.[/b] Daniels walks to the back as Thorn grabs a mic, he informs all the fans that he's enjoyed his run on ECW, but unfortunately, his contract is up this week, and this will be the last they see of him for some time. [b]Rating: C+[/b] Thorn walks to the back shaking hands as we hear the music to introduce us to ECW on Sci Fi! We kick off the show with the Tag number 1 contenders match. All 3 teams make their entrances, Ashcroft and Jacobs are slowly slowly growing a bigger fan basae with every appearance they make. Tag Twins have the advantage in most of the match but all three teams soon start to brawl in and around the ring. Mike Posey starts to struggle to control the match and calls it a draw, much to both the fans, and the teams disgust! [b]Ashcroft and Jacobs drew with La Resistance and Tag Twins in 8:24 when the referee lost control and stopped the match.[/b] "Make some noise...X-PAC!" Blares around the arena, it's official, ECW's gone nuts! X-Pac makes his way to the ring mic in hand. He tells everyone that he's sick of sitting on the sidelines waiting for his ECW debut, he's sick of not getting any hype like others have and will recieve, so he's taken matters into his own hands! [b]Rating: E[/b] D'Lo Brown shakes his head all the way to the ring. The two lock up, X-Pac gets little offense in, and D'Lo hits a Low Down for the victory. [b]D'Lo Brown defeated X-Pac in 4:31 by pinfall with a Low Down.[/b] The cameras cut to the back where we see Ashcroft and Jacobs talking, Dogs of War bump into the youngsters and tell them they didn't deserve their place in that tag match, an arguement begins as Dusty Rhodes passes by, Dusty turns, smiles, and tells them that at Revenge is Sweet, the two teams can take on each other! [b]Rating: D[/b] Ashcroft, Jacobs and Yang all make their excuses to leave, leaving Nunzio on his own, he turns around to face Davide Simeone, Simeone tells him that he's restarting the FBI, that Dogs of War would be nothing without him and that he wants Nunzio to leave Yang and join him! [b]Rating: C+[/b] Nunzio walks out with a puzzled look on his face, he takes on apparent FBI member Marco Petrucci. Nunzio never focused on his match and Petrucci capitalised on every mistake. Petrucci took the win with a Petrucci Driver in just under 7 minutes. [b]Marco Petrucci defeated Nunzio in 6:54 by pinfall with a Petrucci Driver.[/b] Santino Marella walks out to await his napponent, a long spell of silence follows until finally the Hardcore Legend Terry Funk walks out! Funk gets into Marella's face and tells him that it will be he who accepts the open challenge! Marella freaks out as the bell rings! [b]Rating: C+[/b] Not a very good match at all, Funker's knees make him practically immobile, Marella does his best to get Funk to look at all good, but struggles immensly. Funker hits alot of legit left hand punches to Marella's head, his final one is caught and Marella locks in a Standing ArmBar for the submission victory and a place in the Elimination Series! [b]Santino Marella defeated Terry Funk in 6:35 by submission with a Standing Arm Bar.[/b] The two Dragons video airs again, only to be interupted by Dragon Fire sounding across the arena. Out steps Ricky Steamboat, he talks to the fans about how he misses the live action, and wishes one day to experience it again, but for now he must pass the torch down to his son, The Junior Dragon, Ricky Steamboat Jr! [b]Rating: D[/b] FBI (Simeone, Petrucci and Marella) are all backstage talking to Pietra Riccardi, not much can be heard, but it would appear she's been offered the chance to join the group [b]Rating: D+[/b] ECW European Champion makes his way out to the ring, and is set to take on Shelton Benjamin. These two put on a good showing, Benjamin constantly being Cabana's equal. Shelton is pushed off when attempting the Paydirt, as he stands he's hit with a Colt 45 for a Cabana win. [b]Colt Cabana defeated Shelton Benjamin in 6:29 by pinfall with a Colt 45.[/b] Sean Morley walks out and hypes himself up, he promotes the fact he's ECW Champion, and warns everyone in the Elimination Series match that he, Sean Morley, and not them, will be walking out of Revenge is Sweet as the ECW Champion! [b]Rating: B+[/b] ECW TV champion Kofi Kingston comes out, he and Morley lock up to start the match. The match is barely underway when John Morrison makes his return to ECW by distracting Kofi, Kofi turns around into a strong Final Resolution and Kofi is out of it in just over 3 and a half minutes! [b]Sean Morley defeated Kofi Kingston in 3:34 by pinfall with a Resolution after a distraction from John Morrison.[/b] Kofi stands as Morrison steps into the ring, the two stare each other down nose to nose before Morrison rolls out of the ring! [b]Rating: C+[/b] Davide Simeone comes out to hopefully complete a hat trick of victories for FBI, he takes on ChainSaw. The two Europeans put on a good showing, ChainSaw has Simeone's number until GraveDigger walks down, he goes to attack Simeone, who ducks, and strikes ChainSaw! GraveDigger gets knocked off the apron by Simeone. Simeone picks up ChainSaw and hits a Spinning Face Buster for the victory. [b]Davide Simeone defeated ChainSaw in 9:33 by pinfall with a Spinning Face Buster following botched interference by The GraveDigger.[/b] Simeone stands up to celebrate but GraveDigger charges into the ring, Simeone runs off as GraveDigger gives chase! [b]Rating:B+[/b] Time for the main event, Big Show walks out first and Vader follows, no sign of Kane however. The two men go at each other until suddenly Kane's pyro goes off, there's no sight of him however. The two continue to fight. Big Show hits a Show Stopper and goes for the cover, at 2 Kane's ringpost pyro goes off scaring the crap out of Dewey Larson and causing Show to get off Vader. The tide turns as Vader takes the advantage and manages to hit a Big Van Splash on Show, as Vader goes for the cover the arena goes dark and then a single red light hits the ring, showing Vader standing startled with a gloved hand on his throat, Vader is chokeslammed. The arena goes black and again a single red light retuns showing Big Show mid chokeslam. The lights retun as Kane puts his foot across Big Show for the pinfall. [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] ECW have come to terms with the release of Sean Waltman. ECW Superstar Marco Petrucci has only one month remaining on his ECW Contract. He is believed to be on around $4,000 a month, and given his recent push he is more or less certain to re-sign on a larger contract. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/allWrestlingNews.gif[/img] ECW are in talks with a member of the MMA outfit Alpha-1 out of Japan. No names have been given at this time, although the worker is believed to have had a history with the WWE in the past. Developments are still under way in setting up CZCW to be at the best it can be. ECW continue to bring in new workers for them, however they are relying on the same talent at each show. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] D-Von Dudley is now down in CZCW, he is their whilst he learns how to "act" in his new gimmick once he makes his TV return. The final card for Revenge is Sweet is complete and shall be posted up soon with a "Match in Preview" special. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/topimage.jpg[/img] Expect to see Sean Morley drop his title at the PPV. Many backstage are not impressed by him as champion, and are looking to make him drop the title without actually being pinned in order to try and build him up properly. The man known simply as J Rizzle has produced his first PPV poster for this upcoming Revenge is Sweet. [b]Match Setup[/b] The Elimination Series is a brutal match that sees the ring ropes replaced by Barbed Wire, Tables and Ladders lay in and around the ring, the match has multiple endings and the match will go until all but one person has been eliminated twice. A competitor can be lose one "elimination" by pinfall, submission, knockout, or table break. An immediate elimination can occur under "Texas Death Match" rules, which sees a 10 count following a succesful pinfall. Once it is down to the final two competitors the victory can only be secured once the opponent has one elimination remaining, this elimination is no longer open for pinfall, submission, knockout or table break, as the match converts to ladder match rules and the belt is them open for retrieval. [b]History[/b] Sean Morley is entered into the match due to being the defending champion, Morley has had history with two of his opponents, Kane and Big Show. His history with Kane is well documented, he defeated the Big Scarred Monster for his ECW title, and also gave Kane the scar that he bears on the left side of his neck. Morley's history with Big Show is minute and little use for revenge, Show was brought back to ECW by RVD who was fueding with Morley at the time, outside of that, Morely is looking at fresh opponents. William Regal has been battling with European Champion Colt Cabana for the past two months, and has finally been given this chance at stepping up after beating ECW owner Tommy Dreamer, whilst FBI members Davide Simeone and Santino Marella defeated ChainSaw and Terry Funk respectively on this past weeks episode of ECW on Sci-Fi. FBI will definately hold the advantage in this match as they have two co-operating members "facing off". They will be able to interupt each others "elimination" prediciments despite noone looking to break up any potential elimination situation. Morley has the odds firmly stacked against him, and can only hope for a miracle to retain his prized possesion.[/center]

[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] We get two pre show matches to get the crown into the night. Brian Daniels faced off against Stevie Richards in an acceptable match. Daniels took the win with an Arms Across America. [b]Brian Daniels defeated Stevie Richards in 5:35 by submission with an Arms Across America.[/b] Despite being advertised for the Fittest of the Fit challenge ChainSaw took on Tajiri in the pre show main event. Good match got the fans hyped for the PPV, ChainSaw hit the ChainSaw for the victory. [b]ChainSaw defeated Tajiri in 10:13 by pinfall with a ChainSaw.[/b] [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/RIS.jpg[/img] As usual we kick off with a Vixen's match, Amie Gooding defends her title against newcomer Hayakawa Itsuko. A good back and forth matchup that served its purpose well. Itsuko really looked like she would walk out the winner, but Gooding hit a Good Luck out of nowhere to retain. [b]Amie Gooding defeated Hayakawa Itsuko in 6:13 by pinfall with a Good Luck. Amie Gooding makes defence number 2 of her ECW Vixen title.[/b] After picking up the win Amie celebrated with her fans for a while [b]Rating: B[/b] Ashcroft and Jacobs walk out together to a good reaction, Dogs of War walk out in high spirits. DoW carry the match a little, helping the younger team through some sticky patches. A and J don't look at all likely to win until Nunzio tags in Yang. A few missed moves later and Yang's nearly pinned for the 3. Yang walks over to make the tag when Nunzio grabs Yang's head and drops to the fall hitting Yang with a Guillotine! As he bounces back Ashcroft locks in the backslide and A and J pick up the surprise win! [b]Ashcroft and Jacobs defeated Dogs of War in 7:11 when Daniel Ashcroft defeated Jimmy Yang by pinfall. During the match we also had Nunzio turn on Yang.[/b] Davide Simeone rushes the ring, he hands Nunzio a mic, who tells us all that he's leaving yang behind to join FBI! [b]Rating: B-[/b] Up next, our second title match, Champions M2N walk down last with Tag Twins and La Resistance looking to get themselves their first ever pieces of gold in ECW! The three teams get similar offence unti lLa Res start to drop off. Dupree and Grenier appear to be none existant as they are knocked to the floor, Mondo hits a springboard splash onto both men, Nemeth turns around and is hit with a Hooked Neck Crank and we have new tag champs! [b]Tag Twins defeated M2N and La Resistance in 11:42 when Kyle Graham defeated Nick Nemeth by pinfall with a Hooked Neck Crack. Tag Twins win the ECW Tag Team titles.[/b] Tag Twins celebrate with their titles and go way over the top! [b]Rating: B-[/b] D'Lo Brown walks down and awaits his opponent, the music of RVD hits and out steps Mr PPV! In all honesty it's a poor match that is only saved by the interference from Kane. Kane runs into the ring and hits a Chokeslam on RVD allowing D'Lo to go up top ad hit a Low Down for the shock victory! [b]D'Lo Brown defeated Rob Van Dam in 9:17 by pinfall with a Low Down following interference from Kane.[/b] Kane rolls back into the ring and starts to beat down RVD. Van Dam struggles to get to his feet, and as soon as he does Kane hits a boot to the face to knock him down again. He throws RVD over the top and drags him up the walkway. He continues to beat the crap out of him and leads him towards the side of the stage. Official's come out to try to interject Kane but he quickly disposes of them. RVD is left looking lifeless and gets lifted for a chokeslam, Kane sends him over the side onto the electrical table and RVD looks done! [b]Rating: B-[/b] We cut to the abck where William Regal is seen warning Colt Cabana that Marco Petrucci will take the title. [b]Rating: B-[/b] In a surprisingly long match for these two workers, the European Championship was on the line in one of the better matches of the night. Cabana and Petrucci worked off each other well and both had their chances to win early. William Regal, who has had a history with Cabana, distracted him long enough for petrucci to hit a brutal spear for a long 2 count. Kofi Kingston runs down to even up the "support" this distracts Petrucci long enough to be hit with a Colt 45 for Cabana's latest retain. [b]Colt Cabana defeated Marco Petrucci in 18:50 by pinfall with a Colt 45 after a distraction from Kofi Kingston. During the match we also had William Regal distract Cabana.[/b] We cut backstage where we see Tommy Dreamer laying, Shelton walks past and says he'll replace Dreamer in the FotF challenge! [b]Rating: C[/b] The structures are set up, the weapons are loaded, the wires are set up, all we need now is the competitors! This elimination style match up sees surprise entract Ricky Steamboat eliminated first, falling at the rampway assault course, he failed to dodge the chair weilding maniacs. everyone else made it through with Terry Funk swinging a chair back at one! The next challenge saw the men have to climb up a barbed wire structure and into the ring, GraveDigger was next to go as the FBI with new member Nunzio all attacked him as he made his way up the wire, all 4 men grabbed an arm/leg, lifted GD into the air and slammed him down hard onto the assault course before leaving. Next up was the overhead wires, 3 slips hang in the middle, with one man having to then turn back around and climb down the wire due to elimination, that man? Vader, who just could not even bgein to climb the wire! The final three were left, ChainSaw, Shelton and Funker. Now was the agility section of the match, 4 corner rules, each man having to touch the corners, the last one to get to all 4 would be eliminated, having to leave through a now cut out door in the wire cage. All 3 men battled to stop each other hitting all 4 corners, Funker was the first, ChainSaw was thought to be the second, but on replay it showed that Shelton had in fact touched just! The final section of the match, and all out weapons brawl! This was Funk in his element, despite showing obvious signs of tiredness, he showed a complete disregard to his own health and destroyed Benjamin with a barrage of weapons, after 30 in total chair shots, Funk covered Shelton for the victory and a garunteed title match with the ECW Champion whenever he wants! [b]Terry Funk defeated Vader, Ricky Steamboat Jr., Shelton Benjamin, ChainSaw and The GraveDigger in 20:46 when Terry Funk defeated Shelton Benjamin by pinfall. The match also had a lot of interference: Davide Simeone targeted GraveDigger, Marco Petrucci attacked GraveDigger, Nunzio attacked GraveDigger, and finally Santino Marella interfered against GraveDigger. Terry Funk wins the ECW Fittest of the Fit title.[/b] Camera's cut to a pre taped segment, we see John Morrison hyping his in ring return and it ends with him saying he will be the new TV Champion! [b]Rating: B+[/b] The camera's then go to the arena exit where Dreamer is being chartered into an ambulance, Terry Funk is seen getting into the ambulance with him, telling him he won the FotF match and that it wa all for him! [b]Rating: B-[/b] Morrison made his way out, followed by Kofi. An acceptable match between these two, Morrison failed to "turn up" as it were and he brought this match down. Kofi took the win with a Boston Crab after Marco Petrucci accidently clotheslined Morrison instead of Kingston! [b]Kofi Kingston defeated John Morrison in 13:49 by submission with a Boston Crab after botched interference by Marco Petrucci. Kofi Kingston makes defence number 5 of his ECW TV title.[/b] Kofi celebrates yet another title defence, but does the stupid thing by turning his back on Petrucci. Marco Petrucci beats the champ down, hits a Petrucci Driver, then poses with the belt to the fans disgust! [b]Rating: C[/b] Main Event time, we see the ECW Championship hanging above the ring. All 6 men make their way to the ring and immediately start battling it out. GraveDigger managed to pull himself to the rign to attack both FBI members in the match, but his interfereance had little effect as FBI still dominated due to their team work. Big Show was the first to go after all 5 men put him through two succesive tables. William Regal soon followed after being hit by everyones finisher, pinfall and then Texas Death Match 10 count. GraveDigger once again got involved and this time cost Santino his first elimination falling to a Kane Chokeslam. Simeone then lost his first thanks to a Final Resolution by Morley. Morley then hit another Final Resolution on Marella to remove him from the match. Final 3 and 2 of which still hadn't lost a elimination! Morley soon lost his first after a double team move by both Simeone and Kane, Kane quickly turned on Simeone, chokeslamming him and covering both men at the same time. Ladder match rules! Kane was quick to start climbing, but couldn't get up, Morley got to the top of the ladderwith ease before being told he had to take an elimination of Kane before he could win! Kane hit a chokeslam and climbed the ladder, he got to within touching distance before Morley dragged him down with a powerbomb through the only remaining in ring tabel! Both men were down but no count could be made. Both men start to climb up the ladder, Morley gets to the top first, but is caught at the throat by Kane! Kane lokes for a chokeslame but Moley jabs at Kane's throat scar, whilst Kane focuses on his neck, Morley pulls a small hammer out of his boot and strikes Kane on the head with it sending him to the canvas below! morley reaches up and pulls the title off to retain once again! [b]Sean Morley defeated William Regal, Big Show, Santino Marella, Kane and Davide Simeone in 21:48 when Sean Morley defeated Kane by pinfall with a Resolution. During the match we also saw The GraveDigger run in and attack Simione, and also attack Marella. [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] ECW have come to terms with the release of Rob Van Dam, we wish him the best in his future. ECW can confirm that Marco Petrucci has agreed a new $19,000 contract. The contract will also see him hold a mid card level title before it is due to expire. Petrucci had been offered contracts from 3 other promotions before agreeing to stay with ECW. Whilst on the subjects of contracts, Joey Styles has still not resigned with ECW. Styles, who is still very much an important member of the ECW family, is believed to be wantinga new contract, and will hopefully resign within the next 2 weeks.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/allWrestlingNews.gif[/img] ECW have began fleshing out CZCW and GWPE by hiring Jake Hager and James Tighe. Both men are said to be good talents with a bright future. Tighe could be debuted as a William Regal student, as talks are flying of promoting the English talent in development for an all English stable. An interesting note from this Sundays Revenge is Sweet. D'Lo Brown was supposed to face off against Sean Waltman, however, due to his firing, he was replaced by RVD. Unfortunately, RVD appeared, according to one witness "In no fit state to be backstage, let alone wrestle!" ECW opted to go through with the match and have D'Lo go over instead of the planned RVD, and ultimately made RVD look not so good on his way out of ECW. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] After his release from TNA a couple of weeks ago, Jay Lethal has agreed a developmental deal with ECW. Lethal was hoping for a main roster spot, however, ECW are looking to trim the fat, and if he were to be on the roster, it could be seen as last in first out. Also joining ECW is Freak Nastty. nasty resembles Brock Lesnar slightly, and should be pushed as some sort of a monster heel down in CZCW before a full call up. There were no serious injuries coming out of Revenge is Sweet, Kane was left with a numb shoulder for a couple of hours after the Elimination Series match, but is not expected to miss any ring time. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/topimage.jpg[/img] Diego Digou is on a collision course with Tommy Dreamer once again! After hiring (and now firing) Rob Van Dam due to the wellness policy, then going to war to keep Kevin Thorn, releasing Bubba Dudley, and then hiring (and again, firing) Sean Waltman, Digou is apparently on the verge of leaving after bringing in a talent from Japans Alpha 1 promotion. Dreamer had set Digou a challenge of building his own stars and could only hire from companies at below cult level. There is no news on who this signing is as of yet.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/wz_banner.jpg[/img] ECW seem to have toned down on the "crazy" as of late. With the introduction of Hardcore TV, and the new influence of younger talent, ECW sem to be trying to move away from the "ultra-violent" they were heading towards as early as March. The One Night Stand poster is all but complete, a few "font" issues have been brought up before the public, early release.[/quote] [COLOR="White"]...[/COLOR]

[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] The early fans got to see a rare in ring performance from Kane, he took on Big Show in a rather good big man's match. Kane took the victory with a very impressive Tombstone Piledriver. [b]Kane defeated Big Show in 6:27 by pinfall with a Tombstone Piledriver.[/b] The new tag champs make tehir way out to take on the makeshift team of Mick Foley and tazz. The ECW Legends don't perform very well (and understandabely so) and lose to the champs after Chad hit Tazz with an Air Raid Siren. [b]Tag Twins defeated Mick Foley and Tazz in 9:55 when Chad Graham defeated Tazz by pinfall with an Air Raid Siren. Tag Twins make defence number 1 of their ECW Tag Team titles.[/b] We are welcomed to Sci-Fi by a rather underwhelming pyro show as the cameras span the arena and into the ring where ECW Champion Sean Morley once again welcomes us. Morley cuts a long promo hyping himself up, and ends by saying he backed up his claim of being unbeatable, and remains the ECW Champion! [b]Rating: A[/b] We kick off the matches with a Vixen's match, we see Hayakawa Itsuko come out looking upset, she is followed by Pietra Riccardi. A poor Vixen's match in all honesty ends with Itsuko rolling Riccardi up in just over 3 and a half minutes. [b]Hayakawa Itsuko defeated Pietra Riccardi in 3:41 by pinfall.[/b] The cameras cut to the back where we see Terry Funk discussing something with the obviously hurt Tommy Dreamer. [b]Rating: C[/b] Ricky Steamboat makes his way out to the ring, he addresses the "boys in the back" and tells them that he believes his son has more talent than all of them, and is issuing an open challenge for next week! [b]Rating: D-[/b] FBI make their way out to the ring, they talk whilst they wait for Jimmy Yang, after a short spell of silence, Kofi Kingston's music hits and out walks both he and Yang. A rather short match that sees the TV Champion fall to alot of Petrucci offence. Nunzio is taken out by a Yang Time, and Kofi deals with him on the outside, Yang turns into a spear by Petrucci and FBI steal the victory! [b]FBI defeated Jimmy Yang and Kofi Kingston in 4:43 when Marco Petrucci defeated Jimmy Yang by pinfall with a Spear.[/b] As FBI leave the ring, Yang demands a microphone, he tells Nunzio he will not let him get away with turning on him, and tells him that at One Night Stand, he wants a match between the two of them! [b]Rating: D-[/b] FBI are backstage, Nunzio doesn't seem to bothered by Yang's challenge, they all talk about a potential manager to the group, and Pietra Riccardi is brought up. [b]Rating: B-[/b] Tag #1 contenders match now, Ashcroft and Jacobs take on La Resistance. The French duo strugle to get any momentum going in this match, and Ashcroft took advantage of that, the fan favourites gain the upperhand with double team moves until Rene Dupree can take no more, Ashcroft simply covers Dupree for the win. [b]Ashcroft and Jacobs defeated La Resistance in 5:37 when Daniel Ashcroft defeated Rene Dupree by pinfall.[/b] Ashcroft and Jacobs hype up their match at One Night Stand with the Tag Twins! [b]Rating: C[/b] Mark Forrester makes a rare appearance, as he takes on William Regal. A good technical match up is ended after a Regal Cutter. [b]William Regal defeated Mark Forrester in 6:54 by pinfall with a Regal Cutter.[/b] Marco Petrucci randomly appears on screen with a mic, he challenges Kofi Kingston to a title match at One Night Stand then vanishes. [b]Rating: B[/b] Fresh off his victory over RVD at RiS, D'Lo walks out ready to take on usual ECW road agent Lance Storm. One of the longer matches on the broadcast sees equal offense between both stars. D@lo hits a Low-Down for the win. [b]D'Lo Brown defeated Lance Storm in 6:56 by pinfall with a Low Down.[/b] Dusty Rhodes is seen with an angry Kane in his locker room, Dysty offers Kane the chance to join HELP! for anger management sessions and councilling, Kane takes the information but leaves [b]Rating: B-[/b] European Champion Colt Cabana walks out to take on recently returned John Morrison. 2 matches 2 title shots for Morrison! Half decent match that never realy took off, Cabana retained with a Colt 45. [b]Colt Cabana defeated John Morrison in 8:06 by pinfall with a Colt 45. Colt Cabana makes defence number 7 of his ECW European title.[/b] The GraveDigger made a lavish entrance, he was followed by Santino Marella. Marella had next to no offence in in the match, GraveDigger showing his sheer dominance, that was of course until Davide Simeone's music hit and the Italian made his way ringside. This gave Marella enough time to capitalise on the distraction and make GraveDigger submit to a Standing Arm Bar! [b]Santino Marella defeated The GraveDigger in 9:44 by submission with a Standing Arm Bar after a distraction from Davide Simeone.[/b] New ECW tag CHamps tag Twins tell Ashcroft and Jacobs they'll never be in the same league! [b]Rating: B-[/b] Main Event time now, Morley and Vader walk out as do M2N. Not the longest match of the night, nor was it the best, but it's planted the seeds of something! Morley and namely Vader dominated this, Morley pinned Nemeth in just over 8 and a half minutes with a Resolution. [b]Sean Morley and Vader defeated M2N in 8:34 when Sean Morley defeated Nick Nemeth by pinfall with a Resolution.[/b] Nemeth lays dejected as Mondo argues with him over the matches outcome! [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] As we reported last week, Joey Styles' contract was close to expiring, this week, prior to the ECW on Sci-Fi tapings, Styles agreed a new $8,000 a month contract, this sees the ever popular announcer make an extra $5,000 a month! We cannot confirm how long Styles has signed on for, however it is rumoured to be between 12 and 18 months. We don't often comment on other companies however, we would like to address two others. Alpha-1, we apollogise for the recent signing of one of your workers, we will try to make sure that this does not happen again in the future. And to address a recent rumour that we are looking to swoop in on the wounded TNA, should any of their workers that we are interested in become available, we will look into the possibility of accuiring the workers, but only at our own terms, which will likely mean a spell in development before a run on the main roster. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/allWrestlingNews.gif[/img] D'Lo Brown is constantly gaining good reviews from backstage staff, the feeling is D'Lo was brought in to push for one of the mid card titles, but due to how well their respective fueds have gone, D'Lo will be lost in the shuffle. Creative have nothing for D'Lo at present, but in no way does that make his job insecure, should D'Lo drop from TV, it will simply be to act as a trainer in one of the development camps. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] ECW have agreed a deal with TV Japan to start showing ECW on Sci-Fi over there from June on wards. This is an exciting opportunity for ECW as Japan had previously only had chance to catch highlights via the ECW Website and by ordering the PPV's. There are rumours flying around backstage that ECW have plans for a stable led by Sean Morley. The obvious addition to that stable would be Vader, although there are reports that Roderick Strong, and maybe Freak Nastty would be brought into the group. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/topimage.jpg[/img] There is still no name being given for who has been signed to ECW from Alpha-1 in Japan. Names such as Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley and Tito Ortiz have been thrown around, but no one outside of Tommy Dreamer and Diego Digou know who this mystery signing is. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/wz_banner.jpg[/img] ECW have officially released the One Night Stand poster. The font issues were not figured out, and ultimately the company have opted to release what they have. The poster does not give anything away what so ever in regards to what will happen on the PPV. [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] This weeks ECW on Sci-Fi sees the open challenge issued by Ricky Steamboat answered, who will answer the call? Who thinks they have what it takes to bea the second generation superstar? The GraveDigger, currently a seemingly big target for not only FBI leader Davide Simeone, but for the full FBI themselves, will take on Nunzio. Nunzio turned on his partner Jimmy Yang only a couple of weeks ago, will he get involved in the match? Will FBi get involved? Or will this match go down with no problems at all? Raw have allowed ECW to give Victoria Hu an opportunity at competing on ECW, and she will take on Pietra Riccardi. Riccardi is struggling in ECW to find any kind of momentum, but refuses to join FBI and be given help by them! Finally, the main event of the show see's ECW Champion Sean Morley and his partner Vader take on his number 1 contender Terry Funk and his partner Tommy Dreamer. No one knows when Funk will cash in his title opportunity, could Funk opt to do it this week? [u][b]Confirmed Matches[/b][/u] Ricky Steamboat Jr vs ??? [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] As the fans make their way to their seats we see Tajiri and Lance Storm going through the motions of a match, it's not an all out match, as you can see them clearly discuss several spots, the finish sees Tajiri hit a Shining Wizard for the 3 count. the two men leave together discussing the match. [b]Tajiri defeated Lance Storm in 5:54 by pinfall with a Shining Wizard.[/b] In the "main event" we see Mike Mondo and Jimmy Yang go at each other. Mondo is playing the heel here and plays it well. The match isn't as good as Tajiri/Storm, but does a good job of warming the crowd up. Mondo wins with a Running Spash Mountain. [b]Mike Mondo defeated Jimmy Yang in 10:23 by pinfall with a Running Splash Mountain.[/b] We're welcomed to ECW on Sci-Fi by Dusty Rhodes standing in the middle of the ring. He talks about the championships he's held and the great rivalries he's had in his career, he compares one to Simeone and and GraveDigger's current "disagreement" and then announces that next week, we'll see Davide Simeone take on Big Show! [b]Rating: B[/b] The first match of the show see's the Daltons, who have been away in development for some time, take on Daniel Ashcroft and Wesley Jacobs. The Daltons get very little offence in during the match and are always second best, Jacobs hits a SSP onto Festus for the victory. [b]Ashcroft and Jacobs defeated The Daltons in 5:05 when Wesley Jacobs defeated Festus Dalton by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press.[/b] The cameras cut backstage to see Terry Funk talking with Tommy Dreamer about tagging together, they soon go off reminiscing about their past [b]Rating: C-[/b] Victoria Hu makes her way into the ECW Arena, she is seen talking on the phone, she stops to sign a few autographs for fans and heads towards the ring [b]Rating: C-[/b] Hu hits the ring, and is soon followed by Pietra Riccardi. Pietra gets dominated for quite sometime, FBI are seen sitting at ringside and Riccardi tells them to not get involved. Hu knocks Pietra into Mike Posey who falls out of the ring, as Pietra goes to check on Posey, FBI storm the ring and take Hu down with leg shots, they soon make their escapes barring Santino who helps the ref back into the ring. Pietra whips Hu into the corner but her attack is reversed, Hu runs the ropes but Marella grabs her foot, Pietra doesn't realise and rolls up Hu for the win! [b]Pietra Riccardi defeated Victoria Hu in 4:33 by pinfall after a distraction from Santino Marella. The match also had a lot of interference: Davide Simeone targeted Victoria, Marco Petrucci attacked Victoria, and finally Nunzio interfered against Victoria.[/b] As Pietra makes her way to the back, Brian Daniels walks out and says he has accepted Steamboat's open challenge! [b]Rating: E+[/b] The two men lock up and Steamboat soon takes advantage. He dominates the early proceedings of the match and looks comfortable, he stops to talk to his father, only to turn into a clothesline followed by an Arms Across America! [b]Brian Daniels defeated Ricky Steamboat Jr. in 5:57 by submission with an Arms Across America.[/b] Out next is Roderick Strong, his opponent for the night is Nick Nemeth who is accompanied by Mike Mondo. Nemeth spends most of his time focusing on Mondo and doesn't pay much attention to Strong. Strong on the other hand focuses solely on Nemeth and ends up picking up the surprise victory with a Death By Roderick! [b]Roderick Strong defeated Nick Nemeth in 4:44 by pinfall with a Death By Roderick.[/b] Mondo berates Nemeth as Nemeth just walks on past [b]Rating: C-[/b] Dusty Rhodes appears on screen and tells us all that Jimmy Yang will be the guest referee for tonights match between The GraveDigger and Nunzio! [b]Rating: B-[/b] Nunzio is visibly upset at Yangs inclusion, GraveDigger just smiles it off. GraveDigger dominates, and any ref ould have called this match with the same outcome no doubt. Nunzio gets little offence in, GraveDigger hits a Crucifix Bomb and then rolls Nunzio up, he sneakily grabs the ropes and Yang counts a fast count! [b]The GraveDigger defeated Nunzio in 5:36 by a fast-counted pinfall while using the ropes for leverage.[/b] Big Show walks out to a good reception, John Morrison comes out to masses of boos. Morrison gets his ass kicked, literally, Big Show makes a fool out of him by booting his behind at any given chance, Morrison lets his temper get the better of him and he goes for a chair, he hits Big Show a few times, only to have the chair punched back into his face! Morrison staggers around before being dropped by a huge Chokeslam! [b]Big Show defeated John Morrison in 6:09 by pinfall with a Show Stopper.[/b] Morrison grabs a mic and tells the crowd that he didn't return to lose, and demands to be given opponents he can actually beat! [b]Rating: B[/b] FBI walk out to take on the European and TV Champs Colt Cabana and Kofi Kingston. The four men work well together and it showed in their match. All four men getting into the ring for roughly the same amount of time, and all haveing an equal amount of offence. FBI soon double team Kingston to remove him from the match, they then turn their attention to the European champ and Santino is able to defeat Cabana with a Standing Arm Bar. [b]Santino Marella and Marco Petrucci defeated Kofi Kingston and Colt Cabana in 12:56 when Santino Marella defeated Colt Cabana by submission with a Standing Arm Bar.[/b] We cut to Dusty's locker room, Kane barges through the door and confronts Dusty about HELP! Dusty manages to calm the Big Scarred Machine down, but tells him he should really consider his offer, Kane takes some more leaflets from Dusty and leaves! [b]Rating: C+[/b] Main Event time! Morley and Vader walk out, Dreamer and Funk soon follow to a massive reaction! A match just right in length for the aging Funker and the ever tiring Vader. Morley and Dreamer held the match together, and managed to pull the match back to the fans expectations at times. Vader managed to pick up the win for his team after hitting a Big Van Crush on the number 1 contender Terry Funk! [b]Sean Morley and Vader defeated Dreamer and Funk in 9:51 when Vader defeated Terry Funk by pinfall with a Big Van Crush.[/b] Dreamer is disposed of by Vader after the match, and Morley is left all alone with Funk, he stands over the cowering veteran, and just as he's about to strike, he stops. He allows Funker the chance to stand before hitting a Final Resolution on the Extreme Legend! [b]Rating: B[/b] As Morley goes to pick up Funk again, we hear a weird sound over the PA system before familiar music hits, it doesn't take people long to realise it's the music of Brock Lesnar, he doesn't appear, but it forces Morley to flee from the ring! [QUOTE=Bad Luck Brett;511526]Rumors of Morley starting a stable, a new TV deal in Japan ... do I smell a push for Tajiri? (One can only hope :D )[/QUOTE] I'd love to say he's inline for a push, but, he just doesn't click with any of my higher ups :( I have got a little plan for him later on however thanks to someone i signed. ====================================== [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] ECW can confirm that Brock Lesnar's music being played was a practical joke played by one of our backstage staff members. David Thomas is a good friend of both Brock and Freak Nastty, and constantly teases both men about their likeness. Thomas played the music in what he thought was an off the air segment, but ultimately played it right before the cut off. We would like to apollogise to Brock, and Alpha-1, who currently employ the former WWE star.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/allWrestlingNews.gif[/img] ECW are apparently looking at several "livestock" that are able to "act". Storylines surrounding Colt Cabana are constantly brought up, as he is seen as the future of ECW, and they would like to use an animal of "horse or Moose" size to help him express his comedic side.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] Several ECW superstars are said to be on the verge of confronting head booker Diego Digou over their recent use. Many are upset at their losses, whilst others have no idea of the direction their characters are heading in.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/topimage.jpg[/img] The fact that the music of Brock Lesnar played does not in any way indicate that it is he that has signed for ECW from Alpha-1. Tommy Dreamer wants a few "shock" factor moves to be implemented into ECW, and with the recent signing of Freak Nastty, i would put it down as a playing with Nastty's look to help him get over.[/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/wz_banner.jpg[/img] There have been rumours flying around backstage that Paul Heyman's GWPE is no longer seen as a good stomping ground for future ECW talent. The company, who operate only one show a month to help keep running costs down, have got their share of non-ECW talent under contract too, and seem to overlook those that ECW would like pushed on their shows. CZCW on the other hand are running 5 shows a week, pushing the right workers in the right spots under the correct gimmicks and pushing potential tag teams and manager/client combinations too. CZCW are seen as the head development camp, and ECW are looking to set up another company similar in style and production as them.[/quote]

[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] As seen last week on Sci Fi, ECW General Manager Dusty Rhodes announced a huge main event for the final ECW show of May, Davide Simeone will take on the 7ft giant the Big Show. This is definately a test for the FBI leader, and if Simeone thought that when he faces the GraveDigger he'll be in for a tought match, Big Show has got so much frustration built up that no doubt Simeone will feel his wrath. Daniel Ashcroft and Wesley Jacobs once again try to prove themselves to be the true number 1 contenders to the ECW Tag Titles by taking on any team from WWE Raw. Rumoured teams of Cryme Tyme and the Highlanders have been thrown around but the favourites seem to be DX. 2 weeks ago Marco Petrucci issued ECW TV Champion Kofi Kingston to a title match at One Night Stand, we still have not heard a response from the champ, could we see one this week? Finally, ECW Champion Sean Morley puts his title on the line against any ECW Original that feels themselves worthy of a title shot, could this be Terry Funk's open invitation to use his garunteed title shot? or will he save it for a later date? [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] I got in a little late tonight but managed to get the pre show results, apparently Marco Petrucci took on the Daltons on his own, forcing Festus to submit to his Petrucci Lock in just under 6 minutes. [b]Marco Petrucci defeated The Daltons in 5:44 when Marco Petrucci defeated Festus Dalton by submission with a Petrucci Lock.[/b] The "Main Event" saw the Tag Twins take on former tag champs M2N. Chad Graham pinned Nick Nemeth who tagged himself in after hittin an Air Raid Siren. [b]Tag Twins defeated M2N in 9:45 when Chad Graham defeated Nick Nemeth by pinfall with an Air Raid Siren. Tag Twins make defence number 2 of their ECW Tag Team titles.[/b] The tapings kick in and out walk ECW Vixens Champ Amie Gooding and Pietra Riccardi, they're in tag team action against Dynamyte and Hayakawa Itsuko. THe 4 divas all take a fair amount of punishment from each other, very few weapons used by the divas. Pietra gets rolled into the ring, when out of nowhere Nunzio trpis Dynamyte onto a chair, Pietra doesn't realise and pins Dynamyte for her teams victory! [b]Amie Gooding and Pietra Riccardi defeated Dynamyte and Hayakawa Itsuko in 4:45 when Pietra Riccardi defeated Dynamyte by pinfall after a distraction from Nunzio.[/b] Pietra doesn't realise what happened, but sees on the replays and shows remorse over how she won. [b]Rating: C[/b] D'Lo Brown comes out doing his trademark head shake, he's followed out by Sylvain Grenier. The two lock up, many reversals later and D'Lo has the advantage. The two have a half decent match which sees Grenier slowly take the advantage over D'Lo. Sylvain misses a Snap DDT and D'Lo hits a Sudden Impact clothesline, he goes up top and hits a Low Down for the victory. [b]D'Lo Brown defeated Sylvain Grenier in 6:08 by pinfall with a Low Down[/b] We cut backstage and we see Tommy Dreamer talking to Terry Funk, the two talk about Morley's open challenge to any ECW Original. [b]Rating: C[/b] Everythings quiet in the arena, when Brock Lesnar's music hits! The fans go nuts and out steps Brock!!!! Or so it seemed. It's revealed to be Freak Nastty making his ECW debut. When the fans realise, they **** all over the segment! [b]Rating: F-[/b] A very quick match that saw Freak Nastty dominate the younger Steamboat. Nastty got the win with a Powerbomb. [b]Freak Nastty defeated Ricky Steamboat Jr. in 5:25 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. [/b] We cut to the back where we see a "RAW" locker room, a few voices can be heard and out come the Highlanders, looks like they're the team Raw sent to face Ashcroft and Jacobs! [b]Rating: D[/b] The number 1 contenders showed again tonight why they're what they are, beating the Highlanders with relative ease. The team from Raw, who haven't won in over 2 months, had a lot of miscommunications, and ultimately Rory fell to a Shooting Star Press from Wesley Jacobs. [b]Ashcroft and Jacobs defeated Highlanders in 7:23 when Wesley Jacobs defeated Rory McAllister by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press.[/b] Ashcroft and Jacobs address Dusty Rhodes and tell him they want the Tag Twins, so what else do they need to do to prove they deserve their shot? [b]Rating: C[/b] Kofi Kingston appears on the big screen, he says he's been asked for 2 weeks now wether he'll accept Petrucci's challenge, and after thinking it through, he accepts! [b]Rating: C[/b] Tommy Dreamer and his mentor Terry Funk make their way out for tag team action, they take on the makeshift European team of Oleg Prudius and William Regal. Not a very good match by any means, Prudius and Regal don't work well together, and Dreamer and Funk capitalised on that. Funk took the win for his team with a Spinning Toe Hold on Prudius. [b]Dreamer and Funk defeated Oleg Prudius and William Regal in 6:55 when Terry Funk defeated Oleg Prudius by submission with a Spinning Toe Hold.[/b] We cut backstage where we see M2N talking about something, Nemeth doesn't seem happy as Mondo walks out on him. [b]Rating: C-[/b] FBI's Santino Marella walks out as Canada's Mark Forrester makes his way out for no doubt another jobbing performance. Forrester makes Marella look the star, Marella barely gets any shots in but does alot of comedic selling as usual. Forrester leaves his arm in on a sleeper hold for too long and Marella punishes him with a Standing Arm Bar for the win. [b]Santino Marella defeated Mark Forrester in 8:02 by submission with a Standing Arm Bar.[/b] Colt Cabana makes his way out and tells everyone he can't believe he still doesn't have an opponent for One Night Stand, he's open to any challengers [b]Rating: B[/b] Sean Morley makes his way out for his ECW Championship ECW Original challenge, after a breif spell of silence, out steps Tajiri!!!! The match is awful, the fans are into it but Tajiri and Morley just don't click at all. Tajiri misses a few moves, but locks in the Tarantula and nearly doesn't break it in time. Morley hits an awkward clothesline that nearly beheads Tajiri, as Tajiri stands, Morley grabs him, and hits a brutal looking Spike Piledriver for the pinfall and retains his title! [b]Sean Morley defeated Tajiri in 7:34 by pinfall with a Spike Piledriver. Sean Morley makes defence number 7 of his ECW Heavyweight title.[/b] Kane walks out to the ring, he demands that Dusty walks out, Dusty tells his security to stand by as he enters the ring. Kane and Dusty talk about the recent offer of HELP! and Kane grabs Dusty by the throat! He begins to lift but places him down as security charge towards the ring. He tells them to stop, and sys that he reluctantly agrees to go to their meetings! [b]Rating: B[/b] Time for the main event, Davide Simeone walks out with no other members of FBI with him, Big Show walks out with a huge smile on his face. Simeone is constantly on the backfoot and really doesn't look like he has any chance of winning this. He utilises the weapons at ringside and splits Big Show's forehead open. The two men brawl all over the ring, and eventually lead into the crowd, referee Mike Posey loses complete control over the match and calls it a draw! [b]Davide Simeone drew with Big Show in 10:19 when the referee lost control and stopped the match.[/b] The fans boo until the arena goes dark, the lights come back Big Show is nowhere to be seen, but standing in his place is GraveDigger! GraveDigger and Simeone brawl until Simeone runs off, GraveDigger gives chase as the show ends! [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/ECWNews2.gif[/img] As we move into June, ECW would like to officially welcome TV Japan as part of the ECW World. ECW on Sci-Fi now moves into a new market of publicity, and we hope that this can help us improve on our popularity around the world. June will also see the return of ECW Hardcore TV which has been off our screens for over 7 years now! Nunzio's contract is expiring this month. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/allWrestlingNews.gif[/img] As noted in the weekls ECW News section of ECW.com, Nunzio's contract is running out this month. It is believed he is holding out for a significantly larger deal this time around, and we could see Jimmy Yang go over him at One Night Stand should their match go ahead. Nunzio is well liked, but is seen as merely a jobber to the stars, and a "weak link" of FBI. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] TNA have fallen in popularity, and with it comes several cuts. TNA's finances have also taken a big hit and TNA have ultimately released some higher paid upper card workers. No names have been released as yet, however thoughts of Kurt Angle and Sting seem to be up there at the moment, with ECW expected to pounce on few of their released stars. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/topimage.jpg[/img] With ECW now implementing Hardcore TV, expect to see some new workers debut there. Hardcore TV is looked at as a Developmental TV Show, that way ECW can evaluate workers television presance and also their work ethic. With this change in mind, we will no doubt see some of the lower card workers that appear regularly on Sci Fi now being pushed on Hardcore TV, workers expected to appear on their regularly are Ricky Steamboat Jr, The Daltons, La Resistance and Roderick Strong. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/wz_banner.jpg[/img] ECW have quietly removed Brian Daniels' (Bryan Danielson) profile from their websites roster page. Daniels has not been released, and is not in danger of release either, he has been moved to CZCW to act as a traner to the youngsters whilst he nurses an injury and ECW writers come up with the correct storyline for him. Brock Lesnar's music once again played, and as noted in last weeks PWN piece, it would seem ECW are playing on the fact that Freak Nastty resembles Brock Lesnar. This could see quite a monster push for the youngster if he plays this right. [/quote] [COLOR="White"]...[/COLOR]

[img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] June sees One Night Stand aired at the end of this month, and with so many rivalries, how will One Night Stand's 3 hours ever be long enough to fit them all in? This week sees two ECW Vixens go at each other. Pietra Riccardi and Hayakawa Itsuko go at each other one on one, in Pietra's recent matches we've seen FBI get themselves invovled, will that happen again this week? or will the match run smoothly? After Sylvain Grenier was defeated last week, Rene Dupree has demanded that he face D'Lo Brown to recover La Resistance's form, will Dupree beat the fan favourite? or will he suffer the same fate as his tag partner? The main event for this weeks sees ECW Champion Sean Morley partnering with Vader to take on The GraveDigger and the Big Show. There's history between these four men, and no doubt this match will prove to be a brutal encounter as they all try to show they are the dominant force in ECW! [img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/7086324.jpg[/img] Gone are the days of dark matches now that we will be treated to a double TV taping each and every week. We open up ECW on Sci-Fi with Terry Funk walking to the ring. He gets in and grabs a mic, he hits a very emotional promo, and then says as his one final wish before he retires, he wants to be ECW Champion again! So with that in mind, he will be cashing in his #1 contender contract for a match with Morley at One Night Stand! [b]Rating: D+[/b] As Funker leaves the ring, Hayakawa Itsuko makes her way towards it for our opening contest. Her opponent will be Pietra Riccardi. Itsuko dominates this match and really shows us how much difference there is between the veteran, and the Diva Search winner. Pietra starts to struggle to get any momentum going until she is thrown from the ring, Santino Marella runs down whilst referee Mike Posey is counting her out and hits a hangman's neckbreaker on Itsuko, he drapes her over the top rope and runs off. Pietra crawls back inside, sees Itsuko just standing there and rolls her up, oblivious to the interferance from Marella! [b]Pietra Riccardi defeated Hayakawa Itsuko in 4:33 by pinfall following interference from Santino Marella.[/b] Dynamyte comes to the ring and demands that Dusty Rhodes makes the match, her vs Nunzio after he cost her her match last week! Nunzio walks out looking very smug, just mocking Dynamyte all the way to the ring, he standsa in front of her and just laughs, he goes to turn around and she slaps him right across the face! [b]Rating: C[/b] The bell rings and we've got ourselves an intergender match! Nunzio constantly on the backfoot and can't bring himself to hit Dynamyte. He goes to leave but is pulled back, lifted onto Dynamyte's shoulders and is dropped with a Towerhawk Bomb! [b]Dynamyte defeated Nunzio in 5:34 by pinfall with a Towerhawk Bomb.[/b] As Dynamyte leaves, Nunzio grabs a mic and demands to face a man! He doesn't want to compete against the Vixens unless it will get him a title shot, he soon changes his mind and simply wants a match against a man! [b]Rating: C-[/b] Nunzio's wish comes true, but maybe not for so long as the European Champion Colt Cabana makes his way out. The two lock up and the match is underway. In a half decent match the fans seem to slowly slowly get into it, but just as they do, Cabana hits a Colt 45 for the victory. [b]Colt Cabana defeated Nunzio in 6:57 by pinfall with a Colt 45.[/b] The Simeone brothers are shown backstage talking in Italian as they prepare themselves for their tag match tonight! [b]Rating: B[/b] Brock Lesnar's music hits again, but as usual, out steps Freak Nastty to masses of boos. His opponent for tonight is Jaydon Jeter. A very short match see's Nastty squash Jeter at every opportunity. Nastty takes the win with an F-5. [b]Freak Nastty defeated Jaydon Jeter in 4:44 by pinfall with a F-5.[/b] We cut to a dark hall where Kane is walking in, he sits in a circle with several other people. He stands up, introduces himself, and tells them that he is here for help, the cameras fade away as everyone starts talking to him. [b]Rating: B+[/b] In one of our advertised matches D'Lo Brown takes on Rene Dupree. Dupree struggles to get any momentum in this match and it's D'Lo all the way. D'Lo picks up the win with a Low Down. [b]D'Lo Brown defeated Rene Dupree in 5:58 by pinfall with a Low Down.[/b] John Morrison walks out onto the rampway and demands everyone shuts up! The fans boo the guy to no end, Morrison tells us all that he's sick of losing, so for next week, he's issuing an open challenge to anyone in ECW, on Raw, on SmackDown! working for TNA, ROH, anywhere in the US, in Japan on the planet that think they can beat him! Whoever decided to give this guy a mic needs shooting! His mic skills are awful! [b]Rating: B[/b] FBI's Simeone Brothers walk out for their match against the former tag Champs M2N. Both teams start off with equal offence. Gianfranco quickly makes a tag to Davide as Nemeth is stuck on the outside. Alot of quick tags to keep each other fresh see Mondo getting dominated with little to no help from his partner. Mondo finally makes it to Nemeth who charges both Simeone's! Nemeth gets a little over confident and stands posing to the fans, Davide sneaks up behind him and hits a Spinning Face Buster on him for the win! [b]Davide Simeone and Gianfranco Simeone defeated M2N in 9:47 when Davide Simeone defeated Nick Nemeth by pinfall with a Spinning Face Buster.[/b] Mondo climbs into the ring and just stares at the kneeling Nemeth, he can't believe it! [b]Rating: C-[/b] Kofi Kingston joins Joey Styles and Tazz for commentary in the upcoming tag match between Petrucci/Marella and Dreamer/Funk. [b]Rating: C+[/b] FBI continue their run of dominance in tag matches by steamrolling Dreamer and Funk. In what was probably a false finish, Terry Funk ended up being pinned by etrucci after his Petrucci Diver, Dreamer didn't realise in time and referee Mick Foley looked hesitant to count the 3. [b]Marco Petrucci and Santino Marella defeated Dreamer and Funk in 6:46 when Marco Petrucci defeated Terry Funk by pinfall with a Petrucci Driver.[/b] Dusty Rhodes walks out with mic in hand. He tells us that he's had enough of all this unsanctioned fighting between Simeone and GraveDigger, so, at One Night Stand he's going to let them settle this, as they'll go against each other one on one! [b]Rating: B[/b] Big Show and GraveDigger make their way out as an impressive looking makeshift tag team, they await Vader and the ECW Champion Sean Morley. One of the better tag matches in a while saw all 4 men show practically the same amount of dominance in little spells. Vader and Big Show contunied their battle outside of the ring allowed GraveDigger to chokeslam the ECW Champion for a very very near fall. The finish came after a double big boot knocked Morley out of the ring, and Big Show assisted GraveDigger in lifting Vader up for a Crucifix Bomb! What an impressive show of strnegth from both men! [b]Big Show and The GraveDigger defeated Sean Morley and Vader in 9:54 when The GraveDigger defeated Vader by pinfall with a Crucifix Bomb.[/b] Brock Lesnar's music hits once again, and the fans go into a rage and boo like crazy, that is of course until Brock Lesnar actually steps out! He stares down Sean Morley who's in a state of shock, and motions that he wants the title as the show ends! Whilst Todd Grisham has agreed a new developmental contract to stay on as announcer in CZCW. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/allWrestlingNews.gif[/img] The GraveDigger is said to be deeply upset with his position in the company, he has told several higher ups that he is upset at his win/loss record and believes if he is to be able to pass the torch onto a younger superstar when he finally decides to retire that he must look to still be a dominant superstar. It would seem someone has listened to him as he pinned Vader this past week. Todd Grisham, who recently signed a new developmental deal, is rumoured to be near to a call up to the main roster. Todd is well liked by many and could be in line for a chance at calling Hardcore TV. This weeks announce team was Devon "ChainSaw" Brown who seems to have hung up his boots now, and called the action along side Joey Styles, Styles is the best announcer in ECW, but it is believed that he should remain on the "A" Show and not appear on both. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/logo.gif[/img] There are reports coming out from backstage that ECW were near to cancelling negotiations with Nunzio. The aging star is seen as nothing more than a bit part player in the FBI stable, and beliefs are that Gianfranco was brought in to act as his replacement. Nunzio held out for $10,000 a month, $6,000 more than his current deal, and demanded more should he work house shows. Nunzio has since been dropped from House Shows, and his deal has only been renewed for one year rather than the usual 18 months or more. The rumoured match between Yang and Nunzio will no doubt still go ahead, but with Nunzio being as one described "a greedy ****" in his negotiations, he could have lost all chance of walking out of what could be a big singles push as the loser. [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/topimage.jpg[/img] As reported last week, with TNA's financial situation worsening by the day seemingly, the company has cut several superstars contracts, the news has not been announced publicly, however one such superstar did not have a no compete clause in his contract, and is free to show up on ECW television as of next week should he join! [/quote] [quote][img]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/ECW/wz_banner.jpg[/img] ECW have snapped up recently released TNA talent Eric Young, Frankie Kazarian and Robert Roode. Petey Williams, James Storm, Shark Boy, Kurt Angle and Sting are all rumoured to be in talks with TNA about jumping ship before they too are released. There are several reports coming out from backstage saying that Mike Mondo blew up at the last tapings asking head booker Diego Digou why he is constantly losing as he has not had a win in a while, and despite it only being a couple of weeks back, that is one win surrounded by many losses. The interesting note in this is that despite his losses, Mondo has not actually been the worker pinned, Nick Nemeth has been doing the jobbing. Mondo was said to be calmed down by Digou after a while of explaining his current storyline to him once again. [/quote] [COLOR="White"]...[/COLOR]
