BurningHamster Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Okay then, I've read the help files but I am struggling to understand importance in terms of the game. Namely, how come a promotion may have a certain level of popularity, yet their importance keeps dropping below that so despite being VERY popular, I have promotions that just cannot stay at a certain size. Derek B Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Importance is calculated by multiplying the value of the region by the promotions popularity. Since the maximum value a region has is 100% then the importance is always below this. If you are struggling to keep a promotion at a certain level of importance then you should look at changing the values of the regions in the database. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Looks like I may have to bump all of the importance up a bit higher than I really think it should be. Oh well, whatever makes the game run smoothly.
