After the lost of Mike Awesome, GWF will introduce a memorial show. The tribute will be air the first TV show of April each year. That night, a special tournament will take place, the 6 more hardcore wrestler will fight to win the Mike Awesome Memorial Trophy.

B.B.:”Tonight we are here for a tribute to MIKE AWESOME. No storyline, no gimmick, no heel, no face. I pick 6 of the best hardcore wrestler of GWF and they will compete for the Mike Awesome Memorial Trophy. But before all this, everybody quiet please, we will take a minute for Mike and his family.”

The first of the three qualification fight start with two of the ECW extremist like Awesome, Sabu versus Bubba Ray Dudley. Sabu defeated Bubba Ray Dudley in 11:35 in a Hardcore Match by pinfall with a Triple Jump Moonsault.

The Champion Sid Vicious is backstage. He make a vibrant tribute to Mike Awesome. He talk about the friendship they have, the time they travel together in Japan and he admit that Mike was suppose to be the next member of The Vicious Faction. The crowd make a standing ovation, Sid return to his room.

The second qualification is D-von Dudey against Headhunter A. The long time friend in ECW of Awesome wins the match in 12:57 by pinfall with a Dudley Death Drop.

Jerry Lawler makes his way to the ring. He talks about the lost one, their time together in WWF, their time on the road. Lawler ask for another minute of silence. Then he return backstage.

The last match for the final is Jerry Lynn vs Headhunter B. Lynn dominate the hardcore brawl from the start to the end and win it in 9:40 by submission with a Cross Armbreaker Submission.

The last one to make a tribute is Bam Bam Bigelow. He is the only GWF wrestler to personally know Mike Awesome. He talks about his family, friends and his hard way with life. He hopes the problem with wrestlers and drug will soon end.

Final! Hardcore 3 Way Hardcore Match! Very hard match, with a lot of hardcore action, a lot of blood and many move to tribute Awesome! Jerry Lynn is the first to go, eliminate by D-Von, with a powerbomb. After 15:27, Sabu defeated D-von Dudey by submission with a Camel Clutch. Sabu wins the Mike Awesome Memorial Trophy title.

Bam get up, Lawler, Jannetty, Ouelette and Lynn came in the back of Waltman to help him.

Marty Jannetty defeated Christian Cage in 12:05 by pinfall with a Rocker Dropper. During the match we also saw Adam Copeland run in and attack Jannetty, and Kid Kash also attack Christian. Marty Jannetty makes defence number 1 of his GWF No Limit title. After the fight, Kash and Marty challenge The Suicide Blondes for a match next week, they accept.

Marty Jannetty and Kid Kash defeated The Suicide Blondes in 11:51 when Marty Jannetty defeated Christian Cage by pinfall with a Rocker Dropper. This is the 4th win in a row for the No Limit Champion, Marty. The Suicides Blondes win their last tag team match in January, 4 lost in a row.

Another first in GWF, Lawler versus Adams. The King defeated Brian Adams in 13:02 by pinfall with a Piledriver. During the match we also had Sherri Martel run in and attack Lawler with his own crown.

Tajiri will win, but I don't think he'll really change something in the outcome of the Global Bowl because of his rank.

Joel Gertner is backstage and he introduce the king of GWF, Jerry Lawler. They simply talk about Lawler’s fight tonight against Bob Backlund. Lawler knows that someone will make an interference in the match, but he just don’t care. He just want to hit Bob, he don’t care about the result. Joel ask if he is the turncoat of the Vicious Faction. The only answer Jerry give to Gertner is a hit in the face

And now it’s time for the 20 men Global Bowl 1998!! A new wrestler will enter the Bowl each 2 minutes.

The first to enter the ring is “Kid Vicious” Shane Helms. The audience throws a lot of thing on him, they hate the Faction. Helms wait in the ring for 2 minutes.

The 2nd is Headhunter B. He run to the ring but he don’t enter, he stay outside. Helms and B insult each other, but nothing happen.

As everyone knows, the 3rd is Headhunter A. Then the Headhunters enter the ring. They jump on Helm. In least then 1 minute, they threw Shane out. Then they laugh at the public.

Rhino is the 4th. He run to the ring, enter and GORE Headhunter B. A start hitting Rhino, the two brawl a lot. But when B get up, Rhino try his best, but he get his ass kick.

The music of Justin Credible begin, he run to the ring and he superkick Headhunter A to the outside. In the same time, Rhino gore B again, then Rhino threw him out. After this, the two ex-ECW wrestlers, fight like to raging bulls.

A third ex-ECW wrestler is the next in the Bowl: Yoshihiro Tajiri. His first move is to jump on Rhino. The Japanese and Credible make a hard time to The War Machine Rhino. The big men try his best to survive but after a minute he’s knock out. Tajiri then hit his brainbuster, one second later, he is the victim of a super kick. Credible try to throw Tajiri out, but Rhino take all he have and clothesline Credible. The three wrestlers are down.

Villano III is the 7th men to enter. He gives kick to the three men. The 46 years old wrestlers DDT Tajiri, then Credible, but Rhino is threw out of the ring with a clothesline from Villano. The old men sit on the turnbuckle to retake his energy. The first one to get up is Tajiri, but at the same time, the music of the next wrestler begin.

The Canadian and fan favorite, Steve Corino makes his apparition under the TITANTRON. He run in and attacks Tajiri. The two men exchange many punches and kicks. Villano, who’s still on the turnbuckle, jumps on the two men with a Frog Splash. The three are out. Credible take his time and DDT Corino. Justin takes Steve by the hair and tries to throw him over the top rope.

The 8th wrestler is the first No Limit Champion Sabu. He help Credible, but Corino resist. Tajiri stand up kick Villano many time. Sabu turns around and shoulder block Tajiri. Justin rapidly superkick the nephew of the Original Sheik. Then he clothesline Yoshihiro out of the ring.

Another Canadian enters the ring: Adam Copeland. The first move he makes is to spear is long time enemy Steve Corino. Credible and Sabu team up to beat Villano III. They rapidly throw him out. Then they go help Adam to beat Corino who try to protect himself.

The 11th to enter is Le Patriot Carl Ouelette. He run on the top of the turnbuckle and jump on all wrestler. They fall down. He help his tag team partner, Corino, to get up. The Best Canadian Tag Team attack Copeland. Credible and Sabu relaxes and watch the Canadian fight. After some big hit, Adam is throw out. After this lost, the four wrestlers starts a rough fight. (Justin Credicle is in the ring for 14 minutes)

The theme of Greg The Hammer Valentine begin, but Sherri Martel and Brian Adams appears under the TITANTRON. Adams run to the ring and he target Sabu. They exchange some hit, but Adams rapidly show he power and knock Sabu out. Then he lifts him and throws him outside the ring. Brian help Credible, and a four way fight begin.

The unlucky number is Homicide. When he enters the ring, he receive La Cannonball from Ouelette, after a super kick from Credible and Adams finish him when he clothesline the poor wrestler outside. Brian fight Carl and Credible fight Corino.

The last Canadian enters 14. Cage jump on Corino, spears and inverted DDT. Corino is out. With the help of Credible, they pitch Corino over the top rope. Carl try to help his friend, but Adams never let him go. Three on one, Carl do his best but after a DDT from Justin, a Inverted DDT from Cage and a powerbomb from Adams, he is completely out. Brian just have to push him over the rope. A music start and the three wrestlers look at the ramp.

Bubba Ray Dudley appears with a mic:

B.R.D.:”I’m not that stupid, I’ll admire the three of us for the next 2 minutes and when my brother come out, we will kick your ass!”

Adams refuse to wait, he get out of the ring, between the second and third rope and run to fight Bubba. In the ring Cage make his inverted DDT on Credible. Cage try to eliminate Credible, outside Adams and Ray exchange hit after hit .

The other Dudley is the 16th wrestler of the Bowl. He run and hit a big clothesline on Adams. The Dudley beat Brian to blood. The big men have his face paint in red. The Dudley push Adams to the ring. Cage let Credible alone and jump on D-Von. Ray still beat Adams and Credible is out on the floor of the ring.

Jerry Lynn is the next one. He jumps in the ring and attack Credible. We have three fight in the ring. The 6 men try to survive. Bubba try a powerbomb but miss and Adams big boot Ray. D-Von and Cage are victim of a double clothesline. Lynn and Credible brawl a lot and they have the same idea, a superkick. Each one make the move and that work, but they fall down. Six body in the ring, but no move.

One half of the Samoan Swat Team enters the ring. Rikishi look around to choose his victim. Fatu big splash D-Von. Then he clothesline Lynn, shoulder block on Bubba, Thrust Kick on Credible, Justin pass over the top rope, eliminate after 35 minutes in the Bowl. Cage stand up and makes a drop kick on Rikishi. D-Von and Bubba jump on the back of the samoan. Jerry hit Adams many time with vicious kicks.

Samu enter the Bowl. He hit D-Von with a forearm. They wrestle very hard. Rikishi and Bubba in the corner exchange punch. Cage inverted DDT on Lynn. Adams get up and run, with all his power he push D-Von and Samu out of the ring. Cage bulldog Bubba Ray and Adams big boot Cage.

The last wrestler of the Bowl is the No Limit Champion: Marty Jannetty. He attacks rapidly Cage with a flying elbow from the top rope. Bubba put Fatu in a Russian Leg Sweep. Lynn attack Adams, but Brian reverse the move and he take him by the neck to chokeslam him outside of the ring. Other side on the ring, Cage reverse suplex into a back suplex to the outside, Marty is already eliminate.

Final Four after 37 minutes! Adams and Rikishi in one corner, Cage and Bubba in the other. Fatu finally knock Brian, he fail in the corner. The samoan big splash the boyfriend of Sherri Martel. Bubba big boot Cage after he fails a clothesline. Then Cage is been eliminate with a Fallaway slam by Bubba. Bubba Ray laugh and insult Cage, Rikishi runs and clothesline in the back Dudley, in the same time Cage jump and take the head of Bubba. His eliminate.

38 minutes and 30 seconds from the start. Adams stands up and faces Fatu. Outside the ring, Afa run in and punch Martel. Adams turn around and try to help his chicks but Rikishi bulldog him. Fatu go on the 2nd rope of the turnbuckle for the elbow drop but Adams raises his leg to the face of the big men. He falls at the corner. With all his power and many help of the rope, he push him over the top rope! That’s it! We have a winner in 39:43! Brian Adams wins the GWF Global Bowl Trophy.

A lot of cheap shot, hardcore move, risky shot and interference: Shane Helms ans Bob Backlund on Bigelow and Jerry Lawler on Helms and Bob the GM. After 14:33 of ultra violence, Sid Vicious defeated Bam Bam Bigelow with a Power Bomb on a table. Sid Vicious makes defence number 4 of his GWF World title.

That's it! I'll stop reading! Waltman.. seriously now.

I was totally shocked. In my mind he was the top contender for the title by far.

I laughed seeing how Janetty looked like a weakling in this match even if he is the holder of the No limit title.

The Vicious faction DO have power.

The next few shows seem to have the steam needed for good things.
