And put a nomination on ice for MrOnu's 4C: More than the Canandian 3rd Option for rookie diary. He hasn't reached the show count yet, but has a week to get there. It's the show count that seems to be slowing down the amout of people eligible for this category - perhaps the rules on this should be eased a little? Rookie DOTM: may have up to 5 shows and have started since since the 15th of the previous month (none diary threads are no longer eligible) MrOnu qualifies, he has 5 or less shows, a dairy with more than 5 would go to the main groups. I am how ever open to the idea that a rookie diary is simply one that is in it's first 45 days with at least 1 show posted. Show of hands who thinks we should change what constitues a rookie diary? So many diaries and that includes quite a few 'past' rookie of the month winners die a death after only the first few months. For me a rookie diary should be any diary that has been going for up to 2 months and has at least one show written up. I did actually think maybe up to 3 months, but that may be going a little too far the other way. These diaries should also not be eligible for the senior categories be it for Cornellverse or Real World until they have lasted into their third month. I think encouraging as many Rookie nominations as possible can't be wrong, as it shows appreciation and encourages the writer to continue.
