Notes: The colour commentary gave the match a boost. Marc Speed is improving in Rumble skills.

Backstage, Commissioner Jake Sawyer is venting to his bodyguard, Danny Patterson, about Nigel being the new champion. He mentions he hopes the young Swede loses soon because the guy isn't marketable. After this statement he turns and sees the cameraman. The shocked commish sends Patterson after the cameraman, but it seems that he wasn't quick enough as it make it to this DVD. - C-

Notes: Tim Westybrook seemed off his game tonight. The colour commentary gave the match a boost.

Overall: C-

Show Thoughts: Saved by the promos and the main event. Thought Nigel/Singh would have done a bit better, but tonight wasn't about work rate. It was about moving storylines and debuting our newest tag team, Tamara & Ashley.

Will Nigel be a transitional champion? If he is, he will become the greatest transitional champion of all "period".:D

Tim Westybrook rules, in my game he has a potential to go the Hall of Immortals with 10 A* matches without me actually pushing him hard :D

Keep up the good work.

End Of The Month: January 2011

End of the Month Notes

• World Importance: 35 of 37

• World Influence: 35 of 37

• Popularity: +0.8% (25.9%) GL, (5%) MA, (5%) TS

• Prestige: +0.2% (15.3%)

• Balance: -$6,827 ($121,042)

○ Worker Costs: $35,800

○ Sponsorship: $18,429

Well we are once again 4th in the regional battles, though thanks to running two shows a month we still increased our popularity by good margin. The side effect of this is that we are going to be running in the red each month, but NEO is swimming in cash so it's all good. ;)

Re-signed Rock Downpour for $700 and Danny Patterson for $400 and of course signed Primus Allen to a shiny new PPA contract at $800 a pop. Only problem is that his GL pop was hurt when his lost to Patterson oh so many months ago so I am paying more than I should.

I can't believe this didn't happen sooner. The Stomper officially retired from in-ring wrestling.

Our own Erik Strong signs with CZCW. Seems like a good fit for him. Over the years he's turned into quite the all-a-rounder, but he's still a cruiser at heart.

And Bob Casey's NOTBPW just keeps giving as Bob gives himself the Wrestling Spirit championship.

On a cooler note, Tim Westybrook is the new CGC Canadian champion.

NEO Burn This City

• After taking care of Sensational Singh, the young champion faces against the arrogant Brendon Idol. Can Nigel continue his miracle run or will Brendon Idol be taking the title home?

• In our semi-main event, Frankie Perez will take on Ultimate Phoenix in a number one contender's match. Both men are coming off a loss in last month's main event triple threat match, so it should be interesting to see if either man can bounce back.

Quick Picks

NEO Generation: Brendan Idol vs. Nigel Svensson ©

#1 Contender: Frankie Perez vs. Ultimate Phoenix

Bradford Peverell vs. Sean Deeley

Backstage, The Neptune Twins are in the women's dressing room. The two have the night off and look like they are getting ready for a night on the town in matching white dresses. Tamara and Ashley sneak up behind the twins and humiliate Jen and Kathy by dumping a bucket filled with Faygo Red Pop on their white clothing. - D+

Sean Deeley defeated Bradford Peverell in 9:42 by submission with a Front Choke Lock. - C

Notes: The color commentary gave the match a boost.

Taken in the mock mental ward in the basement of The Asylum (The more you know…), a video for The Fallen is shown. As the camera man walks down the hall we see Brimstone rocking back to himself and his tag partner, Jack Napier, laughing uncontrollably. As we get to the end of the hall we see the leaders of The Fallen, Erik Strong and Sienna DeVille leaning against a door smiling like Cheshire cats. The camera pans up right above the door to a nameplate that reads PRIMUS. - C-

Notes: Sienna DeVille helped Dark Star during this segment.

Frankie Perez drew with Ultimate Phoenix in 23:41 following a double disqualification when Tim Westybrook ran in and attacked both Frankie Perez and Ultimate Phoenix. - C+

Brendan Idol cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Nigel Svensson. He says that he doesn't know how Nigel beat the best Canada has to offer and that it doesn't really matter. All that matter is that, at the end of the night, Idol is coming home with the crown jewel of the indies. - D+

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/RPW/resized/BrendanIdol.jpgvs.http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/RPW/resized/NigelSvensson.jpg

Nigel Svensson defeated Brendan Idol in 16:53 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. Nigel Svensson makes defense number 2 of his NEO Generation title. - C+

Notes: Brendan Idol and Nigel Svensson have great chemistry, and it showed in their performances.

Overall: C+

Show Thoughts: You know around the time I lost Smith (a couple of months ago in-game) I really thought about ending the diary. And I am so glad I didn't. And it all is thanks to this show. Burn This City was a clean sweep as it is officially the best show, had the highest attendance, and had the best match in the history of this company, Perez/Phoenix.

And to top it all off? Svensson and Idol have great chemistry! And to think all it took was three in game years to get two main eventers (or at least two people I am pushing as such) to finally get positive chemistry with each other. Ok, so Amber Allen and Deeley had it too, but Deeley got taken from me before I could really capitalize on it. I just hope Nigel or Idol don't go anywhere.

Oh yeah, and with the C+ NEO is now going to be in the driver's set for the Regional Battle. Suck on that CZCW! W00t!

Side Note: Totally botched PRIMUS's reveal. Back when I ran the events in the game, I was going to reveal the name of the new member via little photoshopped pics. However, never altered the first promo from the in-game readout and as you saw, I just revealed Primus Allen as the newest member. Imagine my surprise when I see in this card "PRIMUS reveal promo #2." Oh well, time to get creative with the next couple of Fallen promos.

Dark Star vs. Sean Deeley

This one's actually difficult - is Dark Star getting a push before Primus Allen joins The Fallen, or is he their saviour? I'm going for their saviour.

Frankie Perez & Tim Westybrook vs. Nigel Svensson & Ultimate Phoenix

Nigel can't win every month

Brendan Idol vs. Masked Patriot

Has chemistry with champion = going to keep being pushed

NEO Tag Team: American Joshis vs. Sensational Powerful ©

But only because of Neptune's interference. So the Joshi's may even get a DQ win.

In a bit of the shock for SWF, Eric Tyler and Runaway Train will be retiring at the end of the month.

Erik Strong broke his nose at a CZCW event, thankfully it won't interfere with March Madness.

We re-sign Pee-Wee Germaine for $700, Seinna DeVille for $100, and Jake Sawyer for $600.

But the biggest news is that we were 1st out of the usual 4 in the Regional Battle! :D

NEO March Madness 2011

• In a weird twist of events, Nigel Svensson went from facing one able competitor at March Madness 2011 to facing three! Can the young champion overcome the overwhelming odds or will Commissioner Sawyer's wishes come true and will the "boring" champion's reign be over?

Overall: C

Show Thoughts: Bittersweet results as Sean Deeley once again finds someone that he has positive chemistry, puts on one of the best matches in the history of the promotion and then leaves thanks to accepting to go on tour with GCG. Plus we got a C instead of a C+ thanks to his match overshadowing an insanely good main event.

Jaime Quine and Sean Deeley are unhappy losing. Jaime needs to stop complaining and well tough luck for Deeley. Maybe you would have won if you weren't leaving!

After a somewhat stunning victory, Brendon Idol gets another shot at the NEO Generation championship against the reigning champion Nigel Svensson, while Tim Westybrook and Ultimate Phoenix go one on one. last time these two matched up it was for the NEO Generation title. This time it's for pride (as well as major consideration towards who will be the next challenger for the title).

Quick Picks

Dark Star vs. Jared Johnson

Bradford Peverell & Frankie Perez vs. Jefferson Stardust & Masked Patriot

NEO Generation: Brendan Idol vs. Nigel Svensson ©

- I think Svensson with the belt is a case of accidental brilliance. I hope he goes on to become the ultimate transitional champion. Meaning he just keeps winning. Somehow. And just when the fans (and readers) buy into his title reign... then he loses the belt.

Tim Westybrook vs. Ultimate Phoenix

- Draw. I think both men need to look strong and this could be a decent 'wheel spinning' feud for both.

Dark Star vs. Jared Johnson

- I mark for the Fallen and their leader.

Bradford Peverell & Frankie Perez vs. Jefferson Stardust & Masked Patriot

- Going with the talent in the equation here.

Jaime Quine vs. Tamara

- She she might stop her whinging. I doubt it though.

Dark Star backed by PRIMUS and the rest of the Fallen cut a promo. Strong says that since the title was lost (yes, he said the title was lost and not that he lost the title), Strong and The Fallen have been lost. But thanks to PRIMUS, The Fallen and The Dark Star are back on track. - C

Notes: Sienna DeVille helped Dark Star during this segment.

Sawyer comes out and says nothing is going to happen tonight in the title match and not to worry about it. - C-

Ultimate Phoenix defeated Tim Westybrook in 17:37 by pinfall with a Phoenix Firebird Splash. - C+

Notes: Tim Westybrook and Ultimate Phoenix don't seem to click, and it made for an awkward bout.

Notes: Brendan Idol and Nigel Svensson have great chemistry, and it showed in their performances. This match lifted the crowd.

Overall: C+

Show Thoughts: Party time! Nigel and Idol pull off a freaking B match and that C+ is going to make sure that we are going to win the regional battle once again! The only downside is that I only have one more shot of Idol/Sevensson (I love and hate that match limit).

And you might be wondering why I would put UP/Westybrook in a match because I know they have negative chemistry. Well it's because even with that chem problem they put on C (+) matches! If that's bad chem, I don't want good. Actually, scratch that. I want good chem, I want good chem with EVERYONE and EVERYTHING NEO.

End Of The Month: March 2011

End of the Month Notes

• World Importance: 34 of 37

• World Influence: 35 of 37

• Popularity: +1.9% (29.7%) GL, (5%) MA, (5%) TS

• Prestige: +1.1% (17.5%)

• Balance: -$15,052 ($93,474)

○ Worker Costs: $39,514

○ Sponsorship: $18,580

---

Thanks to Nigel/Idol we finished 1st for the 2nd straight week, just like I knew we would. With a couple more months of this our prestige and pop will finally be comparable to the rest of the promotions in the NA wrestling scene. Oh and we Moved past RIPW in importance.

Mexican Hardcore Wrestling has jumped to Cult which doesn't really mean a ton to me. Though they've been holding Arthur Dexter Bradley back due to him working for both promotions.

Re-signed Brendan Idol for $700.

NOTBPW rises to National Size again. Can't wait for them to fall again.

Sean Deeley is the new CGC World champion, beating Dan DaLay in a B+ rated match. I just wish he was still with us!

In a "I can't believe it" moment, Clark Alexander defeated Tommy Cornell in a main event of TCW's TV show, T.N.T. I'm surprised I didn't notice that Alexander is a main event face for TCW with a B+ in the US.

Erik Strong leaves MAW! I don't know why. Strong's really has become a great all-a-rounder.

Donnie J is a douche and doesn't want to take a normal sized contract. When the hell did he get a big head!?

---

NEO Perfect Situation

• With a strong win over Tim Westybrook, ex-NEO Generational champion Ultimate Phoenix challenges Nigel Sevensson for the title in one-on-one competition.

• In our semi-main event we have a huge triple threat that pits Frankie Perez, Tim Westybrook, and the fan favorite, Masked Patriot.

Quick Picks

NEO Generation: Nigel Sevensson © vs. Ultimate Phoenix

Frankie Perez vs. Masked Patriot vs. Tim Westybrook

Ashley vs. Melody Cuthill

Time to consider a show in MA or TS! I've noticed in my ROF game that once you get passed 30ish% in your home area, you gain minimal populairity (0.1%) in your spillover regions after running a succesfull show at home. However, there's a condition : you must have run a show in those spillover regions. That's not much, you'll lose money the first time you run a show outside your home at this level, but it's totally worth if you get stuck in tight regional battles. Worst case scenario, this minimal gain will be equal the loss you can get by coming short in the regional battle. It's also a nice way to slowly rise your popularity in a low importance/community/affluence region at first.

NEO Generation: Nigel Sevensson © vs. Ultimate Phoenix

Svensson's reign was not planned, but I think you'll run the ball with it and make it lenghty since he's getting good grade out of everyone.

Frankie Perez vs. Masked Patriot vs. Tim Westybrook

I think it's time for Westybrook to get his one-on-one championship rematch.

Ashley vs. Melody Cuthill

Asheley needs a momentum boost at the moment. Assist to Tamara there.

Bradford Peverell vs. Jefferson Stardust

Jefferson is a job boy. 'Nuff said.

Dark Star & PRIMUS vs. High Flyers

Slowly but surely, PRIMUS is build a legitimate tough guy, which will probably lead Dark Star to use him to get near the championship belt.

NEO Generation: Nigel Sevensson © vs. Ultimate Phoenix

- I hope the smarks in the audience finally fire up a chant of "He's a trannie!" At Nigel 'Transitional Champ' Svensson. All he does is produce good match after good match. What a hack!

Frankie Perez vs. Masked Patriot vs. Tim Westybrook

- Perez pins the Patriot to keep Westybrook's rematch on the backburner as Westybrook continues to seeth with rage. At least that's how I'd book it.

Ashley vs. Melody Cuthill

- Wins to keep the 'girl tag team feud' rolling along. Quine still whines about something.

Bradford Peverell vs. Jefferson Stardust

- I wanted to pick Stardust by DQ or count out, but I just don't see the value in him going over Peverell one on one. No matter how wacky things would have to be for that to happen.

Dark Star & PRIMUS vs. High Flyers

- I'm not sure who the High Flyers are, but I know that Dark Star is gold (and not that prissy white gold either!) in NEO and PRIMUS is being built as an evil monster.

Brendan Idol comes down to the ring. He is pissed as all hell that he lost his title match because of Jake Sawyer and demands to he come out right now. Jake comes down with Patterson as backup. Idol demands for screwing up his shot, that he gets a match at our biggest show of the summer, Novus Ordo Selcorum III against Nigel. When Jake balks Idol suggests that 1) he would face Nigel if he wasn't the champion and 2) the match should be a ladder match, a match which Nigel probably isn't the best at, Sawyer finally agrees. - D+

Nigel Svensson defeated Ultimate Phoenix in 23:35 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. Nigel Svensson makes defence number 5 of his NEO Generation title. - C

Overall: C-

Show Thoughts: A little dissapointing in terms of our past events, but still a solid show in general. Even with a Medium in the face/heel divide, I'd say that the fact Nigel and Phoenix lost points because it was a face/face matchup. I'll need to think of something to for the next show though if I want to get another C+ and be the top promotion in the regional battle.

In other news Melody Cuthill left for NOTBPW, which means Jaime Quine is now on her own. I guess it's time to find some new midcard tag teams. Speaking of tag teams, I'm sorry for not saying who the High Flyers are. I actually thought I renamed them in their dark match. My bad.
