T.V. Rating: 1.98

Pre Show:

Homicide wins an X- Division 10 man mayhem Royal Rumble

Rating: C

Main Show:

Chris Harris is in the ring with James Storm. Harris calls out the Motor City Machine Guns. Out come Sabin and Shelly as they are about to enter the ring they are attacked from behind by Booker T and Angle!

This brings out Samoa Joe and AJ Styles and they have chairs with them! The heels beat a hasty retreat for much damage on either side is done.

Rating: B-

Samoa Joe vs Scott Steiner

Joe is already in the ring and after the Guns and Styles leave we hear the trademark Sirens and out comes Scott Steiner. Joe wastes no time and immediately goes on the offence. He has got Steiner rattled but after an eye gauge Steiner takes back the initiative landing some vicious suplexes.

After hitting Joe with an elbow drop he starts doing his trademark pushups. This is a big mistake as it gives Joe time to recuperate. As Steiner starts flexing for the crowd Joe sneaks up on him and locks in the Coquina Clutch in the middle of the ring. Steiner has no choice but to tap out.

Samoa Joe wins via submission, using the Coquina Clutch .

Rating: B

AJ Styles vs Scott Hall

Hall comes to the ring first and has a mike. Just as he wants to start a survey AJ’s music hits and he comes out on fire. Hall doesn’t even have time to throw his toothpick at him. We get a fairly entertaining match as the savvy is quite a match for the Phenomenal one. In the end Hall’s experience isn’t enough as Styles hits him with a Pele out of nowhere for the win.

AJ Styles wins via pin, after hitting the Pele.

Rating: C+

Christopher Daniels vs Sid Vicious

Sid really honors his name here as he seems more interested in punishing Daniels then actually winning the match. After repeated attempts by Nick Patrick to have Sid brake a blatant choke hold he throws the match out.

Christopher Daniels wins via DQ, after Sid wouldn’t release a choke.

Rating: B-

Out comes (Cheerleader) Melissa she has an announcement to make. She is glad to say that her personal idol has agreed to work for TNA! He is an inspiration too not only all wrestlers but all men. Having survived many hardships but still keeping a positive look on life. To her he is simply the best!

Simply the Best by Tina Turner hits the speakers, but is quickly interrupted by music even more recognizable to wrestling fans. http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/27A27_28PSF29-1.png

The crowd goes absolutely crazy!!!!! He just stands there socking in the applause for a couple of minutes before the crowd finally dies down. Just as he is about to speak tough Awesome Kong comes from the back and attacks Melissa. Before things escalate to far tough he steps in between and breaks it up as security comes out to help him.

Rating: B-

Ashley Massaro vs Awesome Kong

Welcome to the knockouts ex-diva! While Ashley shows a surprising amount of hart and determination she is no match for Kong who ends things with an Implant Buster.

Awesome Kong wins via pin, after hitting the Implant Buster.

Rating: C-

Melissa © vs Jacqueline

Nice bout here as Jacqueline takes it too the still slightly winded Melissa in the opening part of the match. Melissa rallies tough an after countering a DDT into a northern lights suplex she gains the upper hand. After hitting connecting with a couple of chops and another suplex she goes to the top turnbuckle.

But while Jacky holds onto and distracts the ref Robert Roode comes out and shakes the ropes crotching her on the top turnbuckle she then pushes her off. As Roode hides Jacqueline rolls her up into a schoolgirl. 1,2.. Reversal! 1,2,3!

Melissa wins via pin, after reversing a schoolgirl we also saw Robert Roode interfere.

Rating: C

Petey Williams vs Raven

Things start of pretty evenly but after a while Raven gets the upper hand. Just as one would think Raven would go for the finish after hitting the even flow DDT he walks to a corner and sits down staring at the floor! What is he playing at?

As Petey comes too he sees Raven sitting in the corner. He yells at him to get up and resume the match. He tries everything but nothing elicits a reaction. In the end he is forced to drag Raven up by the head. As he does so Raven hits a blatant low blow and Bryce Remsburg awards Petey the victory by DQ. Raven goes back to his corner and starts sulking again. What is up?

Petey Williams wins via DQ, after a blatent low blow by Raven.

Rating: C-, hmm disapointing

DDP vs Robert Roode

The crowd gives a good pop hearing DDP´s signature theme song as he signals for the Self High Five. Roode comes out to general boos of the crowd. Roode cheats heavily all through the match cutting off each rally by DDP. He eventually ends things by hitting the Fisherman’s Suplex and holding on DDP’s tights for the win.

Robert Roode wins via pin, after hitting the Fisherman’s Suplex and grabbing the tights.

Rating: C+

Abyss vs Andrew “The Punisher” Martin

Monster vs Punisher and as expected this is a hard hitting affair. Abyss eventually gets the better hand of Martin and just as he goes to finish things of with a Black Hole slam in comes Mat Morgan and hits him from behind with a chair.

Abyss wins via DQ, after Mat Morgan interfered and hit him with a chair.

Rating: C+

The James Gang vs AMW ©

The James Gang seem happy to be reunited and their experience and happiness shows as they have the upper hand in the early goings of this match. AMW eventually gain the upper hand tough via heel tactics and cut of the ring leaving Billy helpless on the outside.

When BG finally manages to tag in Billy the crowd pops, unfortunately Storm has ref Korderas distracted and he doesn’t see the tag. As he tries to remove Billy from the ring AMW hit BG with a double low blow followed by the Death Sentence. With Chris Harris picking up the pin.

AMW win via pin, after a low blow followed by a Death Sentence on BG James.

Rating: D+, very disapointing

The MCMG vs The FBI

Detroit vs Chicago in this tag team matchup with the Guns an Guido providing the speed and Tony the occasional power. In the end the Guns superb fluency picks them up the win tough as they hit the Made In Detroit on Guido giving Shelly the win.

MCMG win via pin, after hitting the Made In Detroit on Guido.

Rating: C+

Jay Lethal© vs Bob Holly

Even tough Lethal still smarts after the betrayal by the Macho Man it seems to fire him up for this match as he takes out his frustrations on this veteran. Showing Holly what the X division is all about. Holly does make a good account of himself on occasion but just can’t weather the storm.

Just as Lethal signals for the end out comes Juventud Guerrera and hits Lethal with a Missile Dropkick. He then signals that he wants the belt before leaving.

Jay Lethal wins via DQ, after Juventud Guerrera hits him with a Missile Dropkick.

Rating: B-

Eric Young vs Kenzo Suzuki

EY is unfazed by the hard hitting foreigner as it seems his confidence is growing with each match. After a back and forth affair he hits the Death Valley Driver for the win.

Eric Young wins via pin, after hitting the Death Valley Driver.

Rating: C, suprisingly good

We cut backstage where we see a massive brawl going on between The Frontline and The Made Men as we focus in we see its Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley and RVD squaring of with Lance Cade, Monty Brown and Robert Roode. Eventually security steps in and with a lot of difficulty breaks things up.

Rating: B-

Peter Gruner vs Sting ©

Uncharacteristically Sting shakes hands with Gruner before the match starts. Sting has the upper hand in the early stages of this match but Gruner eventually uses his greater speed to his advantage and gets in some moves of his own. This forces Sting back in character and after an eye gauge he hits the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.

Sting wins via pin, after hitting the Scorpion Death Drop after an eye gauge.

Rating: B

Nick Dinsmore vs Kurt Angle

Kurt starts this match over confident against the former Eugene and it costs him as Dinsmore shows some technical excellence of his own. The crowd really gets into it as they are treated to hold, counter hold and some neat technical exchanges and well executed suplexes and submissions.

In the end Angle gets all focused on his opponent as he takes down the straps and hits Dinsmore with an Angle Slam for the win.

Kurt Angle wins via pin, after hitting the Angle Slam.

Rating: B

Mick Foley vs Booker T © w/ Sharmell

Mick gets the second loudest response from the crowd as he comes out but it is cut off quick as Booker comes out from the back and hits him from behind. The action stays on the outside as booker throws him in the ring steps. Just as he plans to throw him into the ring post Foley reverses and Booker hits the post hard.

Foley then drags him into the ring and Hebner signals for the bell. Altough Foley is visibly smarting from the pre match assault he takes the fight to Booker who is trying to shake loose the cobwebs.

Just at the moment he goes for the Double Arm DDT Sharmell distracts the referee allowing Booker to cheat his way out of it. Booker then goes to work on the Hardcore Legend using his fast array of kicks to damage his opponent. He connects with the Book End and all seems to be over. 1,2,… No Foley gets his shoulder up at 2 and a half!

Booker T is wide eyed! He can’t believe it! He composes himself tough and he drags Foley up by the hair. After some slightly low kicks Foley doubles over Booker Hits the ropes and goes for the Axe Kick… It connects! Foley seems out for the count.

Booker signals for the Spinarooni and postures too the crowd as he goes to the floor and starts the spin Foley suddenly gets up and while booker is in the Floor he puts him in the Mandible Claw!!! Sharmell quickly distracts the referee again and out comes Angle. He slides in a slapjack to Booker and he hits Foley on the temple with it. Sharmell drops from the apron and as Hebner turns his attention back to the match Booker has Foley pinned. 1,2…..3 its over.

Booker T wins via pin, after hitting Foley with a slapjack to the temple.

Rating: B

As the match is done Angle comes out of hiding and him and Booker start assaulting a prone Foley. Just as they plan to break his arm by wedging it in a chair out come AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Daniels! A fight erupts in the middle of the ring with the Foundation getting the upper hand.

Suddenly the lights go out and a spot hits the rafters. Down comes Sting black baseball bat in hand! As he lands The Foundation break of the attack and head to the opposite side of the ring. We are left with the Foundation on the one side of the ring with Angle and Booker on the other side and Sting in the middle standing over a prone Foley. Just as it looks Sting is set to swing we draw to a close!

The Product

Heyman: Ok now with Russo gone we can finally tone down the comedy stuff!

All others: Ay Men to that!

Heyman: Our main focus remains Mainstream entertainment tough as that is the biggest audience, after that we focus on what got you guys here and that is good wrestling. Be it high flying or traditional those are our main focuses.

Laslty we will be going to get a bit edgier by including more cult, risque and hardcore aspects. From time to time we will also feature some lucha libre and pure and competitive style of wrestling and comedy sometimes has its values.

OOC:

Product:

Key: Mainstream

Heavy: Modern

Medium: Traditional, Daredevil

Low: Cult, Risque, Hardcore

Very Low: Comedy, Lucha, Pure, Realism

Match Intensity: 20 Match Danger: 40 Match ratio: 80 both tv and events.

Rated equelly on performance and popularity

Expect wrestlers packaged with proper gimmick

Don´t like highly risky gimmicks

Like simple gimmicks

Won´t get subtle gimmicks

Will prevent getting afternoon slots on some networks

Quite favorouble for sponshersip

Not rocked by industry changes

Young Lion system not in effect

Jarret: Well hold on here just a god darn minute! Aren´t you freaking Paul Heyman the King of extreme! The King of pushing the envelop and going to the limit?

Heyman: Well yes Jeff I am but I give the people the extreme they want, the extreme they can´t find anywhere else! That extreme is real entertainment combined with the most death defying, risk taking, fast paced wrestling people will ever see!

We will still have a bit of a cult vibe and have the ocasional hardcore match, more so then our competitors but for the rest it has all been done or is being done by others on a grander scale. We need to be the alternative, we need to be better or at least as good at entertaining the masses and at the same time give off great matches.

Plus my spy has informed me that the WWE is going to up the levels of Risque again in a semi throwback of the Attitude Era. Going back to what won them the Monday Night wars and stole ECW's thunder by stealing our ideas and pre-empting any move we could make in that direction.

So I say let them, let them become the sleezfest it will become, let them revert to crash TV, their current staff is so behind on the times this time it won't work. And in the meantime we will grow and grow untill we can finally stand up to em eye to eye, and then deliver a crashing headbutt!

So you all with me?!

All enthuisiasticly: Yes!

Cornette: Wait you have a spy in the E?

Against All Odds

Held at the Philips Arena (South East)

Attendance: 15.000 Sell Out!

Buy Rate: 4.04

Pre Show:

Homicide wins a 15 man battle royal

Rating: C+, Going up!

Main Show:

Bret Hart came out to a standing ovation of the fans. This time he was not interrupted. He said he had returned to wrestling because TNA represented what he stood for and that was WRESTLING! Be it great technical exchanges or high flying action! He believes that TNA is not only the future but the present also the present of wrestling.

He would like to introduce some of the wrestlers he sees as the future and present and he calls out Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Abyss, Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin. Bret continues his speech while Shelly and Sabin start goofing off behind his back and Daniels together with a menacing Abyss put’s them straight. Joe and AJ just stand there looking proud to be there with “The Hitman”.

Bret continues his speech finishing with: So Bret screwed Bret right? Well this time Vince screwed Vince! Forgetting what wrestling is all about, neglecting all the talent that is out there! Vince you better get ready because we are coming for you!

Rating: B, giving the homegrown talent a nice rub and drawing the battle line.

MCMG vs AMW©

Great tag team match up here as both teams are really fluid in the ring. The guns use their speed and fluidity to their advantage and get the upper hand in the early goings of the match.

This gets stopped tough as Storm uses his veteran cunning and distracts the ref allowing Harris to blindside Sabin. They then cut off the ring and make frequent tags in order to fully double team Sabin. As Storm goes for the Last Call Sabin ducks it and he uses a leg sweep to make Storm fall. He then crawls to his corner and makes the hot tag.

Shelly comes in like a man on fire and takes it to the tagged in Harris. Eventually he tosses him against the ropes and Storm makes a blind tag. Shelly then hotshots Harris out of the ring and Sabin goes to the top rope and as Harris gets up hits him with a flying cross body block. They start to brawl on the outside of the ring all the way to the entrance ramp.

As Referee Korderas tries to get them to return to the ring Storm takes advantage by blatantly choking Shelly. After a low blow he goes to get a title belt. Just as he is about to hit Shelly with it the ref realizes his efforts are in vain and turns around. He sees Shelly get hit and throws out the match.

MCMG win via DQ, after Storm got caught hitting Shelly with a title belt.

Rating: C, was because of the strong angle before.

Storm isn’t done tough as he keeps wailing on Shelly he is joined by Cade, Roode and Brown. They drag Shelly up and hold him while Storm goes to get a beer bottle. Just as he is about to hit him Lesnar, RVD and Lashley hit the ring and the Made Men bail.

Rating: B-, not bad considering the Made Men aren’t really over… yet.

Melissa© vs Awesome Kong

Awesome Kong tries to use her greater power to her advantage her but Melissa is just too quick for her. Melissa makes a mistake tough by going to the top rope as Kong just grabs her in mid air while she goes for a cross body. She hits Melissa with a vicious Fall Away Slam and then drags her up by the hairs.

She then set’s her up for the Awesome Bomb, we are going to have a new champ! But Melissa slips out the back! She then kicks behind her blindly and connects between Kong’s legs! The ref didn’t see it! She then grabs Kong’s legs and manages to flip her over! 1,2,3! And Melissa retains!

Melissa wins via pin, after an (accidental) crotching of Kong followed by a flip.

Rating: C-, Bad chemistry strike 1.

Abyss vs Matt Morgan

This is a straight up slugfest! As the Monster unleashes all his pent up fury on his former partner and more importantly “friend”. Morgan weathers the storm tough and eventually makes a comeback as he goes for the Carbon Foot Print tough Abyss shows some surprising agility and steps aside and hits him with a Black Hole Slam. He then hits the ropes and after a Monster Splash he gets the 1,2,3. As Abyss leaves victoriously Morgan seems shocked and goes wild in the ring pointing at Abyss.

Abyss wins via pin, after a Black Hole Slam and Monster Splash.

Rating: B-, unexpectedly good from two big men.

Morgan seems to get the last laugh tough as when Abyss makes his way to the back he is attacked by Angle, Booker, Steiner and Nash. Morgan cheers them on from the ring but his smile quickly fades as Daniels, AJ and Joe come out with chairs and the MEM scatter. And the Foundation helps Abyss to the back.

Rating: B+, more heat for the storylines, stable wars rock when done well (,take note Russo!,) and focusing on in ring action.

Jay Lethal© vs Juventud Guerrera

Juve made his presence known on the last Impact and both these Showstoppers did everything to entertain the fans. Unfortunately it was a bit of a spot fest with no real story behind it. In the end Lethal managed to dodge the 450 splash and hit the Lethal Combination for the win.

Jay Lethal wins via pin, after hitting the Lethal Combination.

Rating: C+, bad chemistry strike 2 ruins what could have been a show stealer.

Bobby Lashley vs Monty Brown

Amateur wrestling and MMA training squares of against Pro Football and street fighting in this clash of powerhouses. Lashley is looking to make an Impact on TNA and Brown wants to get back to where he was before he left; the very top!

Both really impress the crowd by executing their respective power moves on the other opponent. As Monty Brown throws Lashley in the ropes looking for the Pounce Lashely manages to slide under it and hit the ropes on the other side. As Brown gets to his feat he gets hit by a savage spear! Lashley then sets him up for the Dominator and connects! 1,2,3 its over!

Bobby Lashley wins via pin, after hitting the Dominator.

Rating: B-, Chemistry strike 3! Great that they could still show such quality.

AJ Styles vs Booker T© w/Sharmell

Shades of Christian vs Booker as these men put up a decent but not great match. No wonder they haven’t met one on one before. The pace was slow and it seemed both where going to the motions. Booker ended it after Styles hit the Pele but Sharmell distracted the ref. As AJ tried to get the refs attention Booker hit him with a low blow which set him up for the Scissor Kick. Booker grabs the tights for extra measure and it is 1,2,3!

Booker T wins via pin, holding the tights after hitting a low blow followed by the Scissor Kick.

Rating: C, Terrible chemistry! Strike 4! Worst of the night! (ooc had this as starter and moved it, didn’t have time to check chemistry via house shows.)

Booker isn’t done tough as he asks for a mike and he starts ridiculing AJ who is being carried off. Angle and Sting come out and they cut promo’s on their respective opponents for tonight saying the same fate awaits them.

Rating: A, excellent work.

Brock Lesnar vs Lance Cade

Altough Cade does manage to get some offense in on the Impressive Lesnar, mainly by cheating, in the end the speed and strength of Lesnar is too much for him and he hits the

Verdict (F-5) for the win.

Brock Lesnar wins via pin, after hitting the Verdict.

Rating: B-, both need better ring psychology glad we have Bret around hehe.

RVD vs Robert Roode

RVD gets a great pop from the crowd it seems he is a perfect fit here in TNA as Roode comes out he almost gets the same level of boos. Roode tries to keep the pace of the match down by using many submission maneuvers, stepping to the outside of the ring and keeping RVD grounded. As Roode has RVD locked in a classic sleeper hold (ode to Dibiase) RVD seems to be fading. The crowd starts chanting his name louder and louder while he seems to be fading.

As referee Nick Patrick raises his hand the third time it seems to drop, but he straightens it just in time! The RV chants get even louder as RVD slowly but surely gets to his feet. He gives Roode a belter of elbow shots and he breaks the hold. RVD bounces of the ropes and hits Roode with a running enziguiri. Roode is stunned and RVD goes up top he waits for Roode to get up and then connects with a flying spinning back kick. He then hits the ropes again and hits the Rolling Thunder! No man can get up after that sequence of moves! And Roode doesn’t.

RVD wins via pin, after hitting the Rolling Thunder.

Rating: B, great matchup.

Sting is interviewed backstage by Don West as he cuts a promo on Joe. Saying that if Joe underestimates and disrespects him again like he did at Bound For Glory he has no hopes of winning the title.

Rating: A, go Stinger!

Christopher Daniels vs Kurt Angle

Wow, just wow. These two athletes put on a show letting everyone know what wrestling is all about. Angle works the leg throughout and in the beginning takes his opponent too lightly again. This allows Daniels to show his vicious streak as The Fallen Angel that he his.

After a while it evens out tough as we see move after counter move, hold after counter hold with neither getting the upper hand. Angle hits three consecutive German suplexes but somehow Daniels manages to turn after the third and hit three Northern Lights Suplexes of his own.

Both men are down and exhausted on the mat as the crowd roars their appreciation. Referee Hebner has no choice but to start a ten count and both opponents manage to just get up at 9.

It then turns into a slugfest in the middle of the ring with neither opponent backing down or budging an inch with Daniels going for straight rights and Angle hitting European uppercuts. Angle gets the upper hand tough after a poke in the eye. He then proceeds with a bevy of low kicks to Daniels right leg. Finally setting him up for the Angle slam.

Instead of going for the pin tough Angle slowly makes his way to the top rope. Moonsault! But Daniels moves out of the way! As Angle writhes in pain on the floor Daniels slowly gets to his feet. As Angle gets up Daniels finds the strength to execute the BME! (Best Moonsault Ever, double springboard moonsault) He then signals to the crowd and sets up Angle for the Angel Wing. As he hoists him up Angle manages to get back to his feat tough by wriggling his legs. He then flips Daniels over backwards and locks in the Ankle Lock!

Daniels writhes and turns but Angle has it locked in tight. Daniels proceeds to crawl to the ropes but just before he can reach them Angle drags him back to the centre and locks in the Grapevine! After what seems like minutes of agony Daniels has no choice but to tap out. As Angle leaves the ring he spits on Daniels who is still lying on the floor clutching his leg.

Kurt Angle wins via submission, using the Ankle lock turned into a Grapevine.

Rating: B, glad we told them to work the crowd or the next match would have been overshadowed.

Samoe Joe vs Sting

Joe finally gets his rematch for Bound for Glory and this time he doesn’t take Sting lightly. Sting on the other hand seems back on the top of his game an reluctant to loose the belt to a disrespectful youth like Joe. They both pull out all the stops and this matchup goes back and forth.

Sting hits Joe with a Stinger Splash in the corner but as he goes for the second Joe moves out of the way. Joe then throws Sting into the opposite corner and charges in with his back and then hits him in the head with a jumping twisting enziquiri followed by a bulldog.

The two continue to mirror each other as Joe manages to escape the Scorpion Death Lock and Sting manages to get out of the Coquina Clutch. As exhaustion sets in both men seem in need of a breather but their mutual hate won’t let them as the match keeps going on albeit at a slower pace.

In the end Sting realizes that Joe is just too strong for him and he takes multiple shortcuts to regain and keep the upper hand. It doesn’t seem to work tough because after a vicious exploder suplex and a butt bomb by Joe he manages to set Sting up for the Muscle Buster on the top rope. Just as Joe seems to have Sting locked in Sting rallies, but Joe refuses to let go while punch after punch hits his face. Finally Sting pokes him in the eye and Joe looses his grip. Sting then hauls Joe up and reverses his grip on Joe’s head, Tornado Scropion Death Drop off the top rope!

Sting slowly drapes his hand on Joe for the cover and its 1,2, 3/Kickout ! This is the closest pinfall in history! Hebner decides to have the bell rung tough and Sting wins! Joe can’t believe it and goes out of his mind! He starts to go after Sting but thinks better of it. He then goes after referee Hebner who has been in his fair share of controversial finishes and Heber realizing what’s coming makes a bee line towards the back.

Sting wins? Via pin, after a Tornado Scorpion Death Drop.

Rating: B, Could have been better but good enough.

Sting then asks for a microphone and starts talking respect again, pointing out that respect for referee’s is paramount and that…..

Music hits the PA tough and out comes Brock Lesnar! He points at Sting and the Belt and then makes the belt motion around his waist. And it’s a wrap.

Rating: A+, nice way to finish and start teasing the fans for that matchup.

Overall Rating: B+, great show but just imagine what it could have been without all the chemistry issues.

OOC I´ll get too the pics tomorrow prolly,Also need one of the "old" Jay Lethal. Included booker/owner notes after the ratings hope you like them. Brackets denote ooc or booker/owner notes. Could use some feedback btw.

Do you like the longer match write ups for the PPV´s? Especially the two main event ones? Anything else you would like to see done better? Say more non rated angles for more storyline depth? Just through your thoughts out there I am always open to suggestions.

Post Against All Odds meeting

Heyman: Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! So none of you could have warned me those guys and girls don't work well together?

Jarret: Settle down Paul, it was the first time they where matched up together and we didn't have the time to test how they worked against eachother at the house shows. Be glad we found out about AJ and Booker when they decided to go through the match before the ppv.

Heyman: Yeah and at least Angle vs Daniels and Sting vs Joe plus the good angles really saved our bacon. You are right it could have been worse but it does change some of the plans we had. At least that was all that has gone wrong so far.

Cornette: Ehm, Paul....

Heyman: Yeah Jim?

Cornette: Well you probably won't like this so I will just spit it out. This just came in, altough we gota 4.04 buyrate Directv isn't happy with us. If we don't get buyrate up significantly they are going to cancel.

Heyman: Ah for f*cks sake! Ok this means our workers will need more momentum going into the ppvs so more people will tune in. Glad we will have a B show to transfer momentum next season.

Cornette: Yeah about that... All the t.v. shows either think we are not big enough to take on or don't think a second show will draw enough viewers. Even the local South East stations. And to get all the bad news out the way we can't expand Impact either or get more areas to show our ppvs.

Heyman: Ok now I think you are doing this on purpose Jim. God dammit I thought Ted would still have some pull in t.v. land seems I was wrong. Well I will talk to Ted and see what he can do and we will try to negotiate again in a couple of weeks. And we will focus more on momentum on Impact.

B.Hart: Don't worry Paul we will get there in the end I have faith in all our talents.

Taylor: I don't share your optimism Hart but if we all do our best we have a chance.

Raven: Ok less talk more work guys!

J.Hart: And next time don't screw the tag teams will ya!

Jay Lethal© vs Guido

Guido ventures into singles competition here as he challanges Lethal for the title.

Booking and Responsibilities

We are back at the meeting in Jarret's office just before Final Resolution.

Heyman: Ok now that we have the product sorted out let's move on to the booking strategy.

Cornette: But what about your spy?

Heyman: All in due time Cornette, you always where an inpatient son of a, weren’t ya.

Cornette: *Grumble Mumble*

Heyman: Ok moving on. In short Ted has signed all the new workers from ROH to two year contracts and all the current ones to three year deals.

He is paying them good money and has persuaded them not to retire and wave creative control. It is very lucky for us he has learned from past mistakes in that regard.

Jarret: Sure is it was one of the main reasons WCW went under all those old folks not moving aside for the "real" talent.

Heyman: Yeah and you where one of em Jeff, one of the old folks I mean.

Jarret: You wanna say that again!?

Heyman: No, you heard me the first time. Now the downside to this is that has cost Ted a bundle and while he has given us a good cash reserve we can’t do anything too foolish.

He has still given us room for some signings so we need to decide who those will be and what their role is going to be.

Taylor: As head of talent relations I say we bring in the Hulkster, Flair, Macho Man, Warrior, Goldberg, The Rock, Stone Cold.... We could make room for em by firing EY, Petey, Lance, Jimmy, Sonjay...

Heyman: Whoa you have been hanging around with Russo too much Taylor. Hulkster and Flair are too WCW, WWE identified and poison backstage, Goldberg isn’t that good of a wrestler and don't get me started on Warrior.

Now Macho Man could be a possibility but I would see him in a non wrestling role. The Rock and Stone Cold are options and we will send out feelers towards them.

As for firing our homegrown talent, are you crazy! They are the future and the foundation of TNA. Those are exactly the guys we want to build our company around and they will repay us with their loyalty. And FYI Terry you are no longer head of talent relations.

Taylor: What you firing me? Then why didn't you send me out with Russo and Borash?

Heyman: No I am not firing you as I think you are a capable road agent and have some promise as a booker, especially once you get Russo out of your system. That is why I am making you head of the Knock Out's division, plus it seems to suite you having played a c0ck* before hehe.

Heyman: I have gotten someone else to become head of talent relations, someone who knows talent when he sees it. He is also very eager to see Vince fall and he will be a major coup for us. He will also work as our head Road Agent.

Jarret: So who is this wrestling god you talking about? It's not Funk is it? He’s good but mainly for the Hardcore stuff. I know you and him are tight but I don't think he can handle that much responsibility.

Heyman: No it is not Funk although he will be joining our company as a semi active wrestler and as booker for hardcore matches which is as you say his specialty.

You see who it is in due time because at this moment he is scouting all the available talent and taking a look at our current roster and the ROH roster and he will give his views when the time is right. Let's just say he has a lot of Hart for the business.

All raise their eyebrows at this having a good inclanation who it might be.

Heyman: Ok we got a bit sidetracked there so on with further responsibilities. Raven I want to see what you can do and you connect well with the younger guys so I am making you head of the X-Division.

Raven: Ok.

Heyman: That's it just OK?

Raven:Yes.

Heyman: Ehm.. Ok then I guess, now Jim you and I may have a different style of doing things but I will admit that your style does work from time to time. That's why I am giving you the undercard to work with.

Cornette: Wait you pawning me off with the jobbers? Hell no!

Heyman: Not just the jobbers Jim the future stars of tomorrow! And as long as we don't have a solid push for em or so long as they aren't ready it is your responsibility to teach em the basics of character development and keep em in the public eye.

Cornette: Well if ya but it like that I think It suits me well yeah it suits me darn well.

Heyman: Now concerning the uppercard that will be headed up by me but I want all of your input. If you have any thoughts or ideas just run em by me. Concerning your individual positions I will remain in overall charge tough.

But one of the things that burned me out with ECW was micromanaging everything and I too have learned from my mistakes so don't bother me with trivial stuff.

Jarret: So then what does that leave me? The tag teams? Hell I am the King of the Mountain and there is only room for one at the top, I don't know squat about that.

Heyman: No Jarret you will be a general advisor, you can give your input on anything and can assist anybody. This was and still is to an extent your baby and you know the workers here the best. So you will give general input. Is that satisfactory?

Jarret: Yeah, sure I guess so best wait to see how things all work out.

Heyman: Ok now apart from someone who will focus on the tag teams, I got my eye on somebody, I think everything is clear responsibility wise.

Now on to the booking I mentioned it and want to make it absolutely clear that the future is the TNA originals got that! They live and breath TNA and people identify them with TNA. Our main goal is to get them as over and good as possible.

Secondly are the indy talents which will become identified with TNA in the future. Third are the current and older stars who can still give their all in the ring. The rest are mainly there to make these three look good you all got that?

Cornette: Got it.

Taylor: Got it.

Pause in which Heyman looks intently at Raven and Jarret.

Raven: Sure

Jarret: Yeah I guess so as long as ya don't make me look weak.

Heyman: Ok that concludes that for now. We will meet back here in a week and our new head of talent relations and head road agent will join us. Please take the agenda back home to read it through thoroughly.

* ooc Terry Taylor wrestled under the infamous wrestlecrap gimmick The Red Rooster fyi.

TNA Impact

Held at the American Airlines Arena(South East)

Attendance: 7.141

T.V. Rating: 2.13 (Take that! Vince and Vince.)

Pre Show:

Homicide won another 15 man battle royal

Rating: C+, training workers and raising their SE overness.

Main Show:

Paul Heyman comes out to a raucous welcome of the crowd. After the crowd calms down he has an announcement to make. Seeing how the Motor City Machine Guns where screwed out of the titles they will get a shot at who ever holds them at the next PPV, Victory Road!

Backstage we see Shelly and Sabin celebrating with Shelly warning AMW that they are wise to their tricks now and that they are going down! We cut to AMW where Harris is freaking out yelling all sorts of profanity and Storm is just sitting there drinking beer.

Rating: C+, Hmm would have liked better but it’s a start.

Samoa Joe vs Sid Vicious

Once again Sid shows his psychotic streak as he is more intent on damaging Joe then actually winning the match. Every time Joe rallies Sid just takes the low road and after one infraction too many Nick Patrick awards the match to Joe.

Samoe Joe wins via DQ, after Sid kept blatantly breaking the rules.

Rating: B, more momentum for Joe and a comeback win.

Christopher Daniels vs Rick Steiner

Nice matchup her as the Fallen Angel shows his excellence. Rick shows he still has skill and a lot of tenacity as his pit-bull spirit allows him to get in some offense of his own. Mainly taking advantage of the damage Daniels suffered in his match against Angle. In the Daniels absolute class is too much for Steiner tough as he locks on the Angel Wings for the pin.

Christopher Daniels wins via pin, after hitting the Angel Wings.

Rating: C+, overshadowed by the last match and Rick isn’t as well known as his brother.

AJ Styles vs Rick Steiner

AJ bounces back after his lackluster outing against Booker here. Scott also has a fury in his eyes as he tries to take out the phenomenal one. Power against speed and agility here and while both men get in their respective spots AJ manages to counter an overhead belly to belly suplex into a Styles Clash for the win.

AJ Styles wins via pin, after hitting the Styles Clash

Rating: B-, AJ gets back on track and Steiner gives a good rub.

We cut backstage where the Frontline is preparing to be interviewed by Don West. Before they can start tough the locker room door is busted open and in come the Made Men looking for revenge for their losses. An all out brawl ensues.

Rating: B, keeping up the heat in this feud.

Roxxi vs Varocity

The Hardcore Knock Out gives a good showing here but in the end the experience of Varocity is too much for her and she falls prey to a Widows Peak followed by a rope assisted pin.

Varocity wins via pin, after hitting the Widows Peak and using the ropes for leverage.

Rating: C, very good especially after the strong segment before.

Melissa© vs MsChif

MsChif maybe a relative unknown in these parts but boy can that girl wrestle! Melissa and MsChif pick up their rivalry from SHIMMER where it left of as both girl go all out. Melissa just has the edge in this tightly contested affair and she picks up the win after nailing MsChif with the Air Raid Crash.

Melissa wins via pin, after executing the Air Raid Crash.

Rating: C+, Melissa keeps proving herself a real champ.

Eric Young vs Chris “The Masterpiece” Mordetzky

Chris made his usual pompous entrance and received good heel heat because of it. EY came out to the usual cheers of the crowd. Mordetzky tried his usual power game but EY was too quick for him. After a slipup by EY he did manage to get him in the Master Lock but EY powered out of it! He countered it into a Death Valley Driver for the win.

Eric Young wins via pin, by hitting the Death Valley Driver, after powering out of the Master Lock. (Take that Cena 1)

Rating: C-, nice filler match.

Petey Williams vs Andrew “The Punisher” Martin

A more upscale version of the last fight with both wrestlers being more well known and somewhat stronger and skilled. Petey was on the defensive for most of the affair put after slipping out of TKO by hitting the Canadian Legsweep he did the seemingly impossible and, after signaling to the crowd, hit the big man with the Canadian Destroyer.

Petey Williams wins via pin, after conncecting with the Canadian Destroyer.

Rating: C+, good enough.

Abyss vs King V

Two massive crazy monsters collide in this match and it is an absolute slugfest. King V is soon tiring though and having almost faced a just as big a lunatic as himself soon finds himself in trouble. In an amazing feat of strength Abyss lifts V up for the Shock Treatment and but instead of letting him fall he holds on to him! Oh my god he stands up again with V on his back, he then lifts him up and Gorilla Press Slam! This is unbelievable! But you better believe that following that Abyss gets the one, two, three.

Abyss wins via pin, after delivering the Shock Treatment flowing into a Gorilla Press Slam. (Take that Cena 2)

Rating: C-, nothing to see here moving on.

The Motor City Machine Guns vs Team 3D

From that slugfest we move on too speed on one side and power on the other and fluid tag team work from both. Team 3D are shocked by the speed of the Guns in the early goings of the match but after Devon distracts the ref allowing Rey to take a cheap shot team 3D gets the upper hand. They cut the ring in half leaving Sabin unable to help his partner.

Shelly continues to get punished but manages to worm out the way as Ray slingshots Devon into the corner for a splash. With his last remaining strength he manages to land a dropkick on Ray and he starts crawling towards his corner. Devon is first to react put just at the second he grabs Shelly’s boot he manages to make the tag. Sabin comes in with a vengeance and unleashes a barrage of kicks on Team 3D.

After Shelly has recuperated he joins the fray and the action spills to the outside after the Guns clothesline team 3D over the top rope and follow up with synchronous suicide dives. The outside is Dudley country though and 3D use the steps, railings and ring posts to their advantage. Intent on punishing their opponents Devon get’s the tables and they hit a 3D through a table on Sabin and then Shelly. Referee Korderas has no choice but to call for the bell.

The MCMG win via DQ, after both being 3Ded through a table.

Rating: C+

The James Gang vs America’s Most Wanted©

A better showing this time around from both teams, but in the end the heel tactics of AMW are too much for the James brothers as BG gets hit by a beer bottle after Harris distracts the referee.

AMW wins via pin, after hitting BG James with a beer bottle.

Rating: C-, improvement although only slightly maybe some hidden chemistry issues.

Paul London vs Sonjay Dutt

The crowd are appreciative of seeing London here in TNA as he seems to be a good fit. The Guru gives him a warm welcome showing him that in TNA he is not one of the few but one of the many with speed and agility. That backed up by some well timed heel moves ultimately gives Sonjay the win in this tightly contested high speed aerial affair.

Sonjay Dutt wins, by hitting the Hindu Press after nailing London with a foreign object.

Rating: C, good but could be better.

Jay Lethal© vs Guido

Nice affair here with the veteran Guido squaring off with the champ. Guido takes some time to adjusting to the high octane affair that is the X Division. Jay Lethal has the better of the early goings of the match because of it. Guido comes into his own tough and gets in some offence of his own. But it is too little too late as Lethal connects with the Lethal Combination for the win.

Jay Lethal wins via pin, after hitting the Lethal Combination.

Rating: B-, now that is an X Division match.

We cut backstage as we see the Main Event Mafia mocking the Foundation for their losses at the ppv and if they think Victory Road will be any different they better think again. We cut to the Foundation locker room where they watch the interview in silence with intent looks on their faces.

Rating: B+, keep up the heat!

Nick Dinsmore vs Robert Roode

Another solid showing by Dinsmore here against the TNA mainstay Roode. Roode has too much pent up aggression though after his loss against RVD and after a tight affair manages to hit Dinsmore with the Payoff and gets the 1,2,3 assisted by holding on to the tights. Dinsmore goes absolutely mad after the match yelling and screaming.

Robert Roode wins via pin, after hitting the Payoff and grapping the tights.

Rating: B-, good showing by both at such an important stage.

Jeff Jarrett vs Booker T©

Double J comes out as a house on fire as he wants revenge for what happened to Foley and wants to prove he is the king of the mountain by winning the Legends belt. Booker T is taken off guard by this ruthless aggression and finds himself on the wrong end of an ass whooping. After a while the flame inside Jarrett seems to cool down a bit and Booker regains his composure. It becomes a tight affair with neither being able to get the upper hand.

This changes though as the ever crafty Sharmell gets up on the ring and distracts the referee allowing Booker to hit Jarrett with an eye gauge followed by a blatant choke. From this point on it is all Booker and although Jarrett rallies a couple of times he is unable to regain the upper hand. Booker finishes things off with his patented Axe Kick.

Booker T wins via pin, after an axe kick, we also saw Sharmell distract the Referee.

Rating: B, solid main event.

After the match Booker is celebrating with Sharmell and holding his Legends title up high. His celebration is cut short tough as another song then his suddenly hits the pa. Booker is wide eyed as once again out steps Brock Lesnar and points at the title and then signals to his waist! Lesnar wants both titles!? And that’s all we have time for tonight folks!

Rating: A, nice finish.

Show Rating: B+, Whoot!

TNA Impact

Held at the American Airlines Arena (South East)

Attendance: 7.039

TV Rating: 2.15 (Keep it coming!)

Pre Show:

Guido defeated Shannon Moore

Rating: C

Elijah Burke defeated Shane Sewell

Rating: C

Joey Mathews defeated Shark Boy

Rating: C, keeping the 3 of them happy

Main Show:

Jim Cornette is sitting in his office with new interviewer Becky Bayless talking about tonight’s show. In storms Traci Brooks demanding to know why there is no knockout match on the card tonight.

Cornette replies that he can’t make everyone happy all the time and that tonight there simply wasn’t any room. Traci doesn’t accept this and really lays it on Cornette with Becky seeming sympathetic.

Suddenly the door opens again and in comes Heyman. He asks what is the matter and both start screaming at them. After he settles them down and hears both their stories he makes a suggestion. Melissa will again defend her title at Victory Road against none other then Varocity thus assuring it will be a great match and the knockouts have their day in the sun at the ppv. If it’s a good match there will be more knockout matches if not there will be less and Traci will not be allowed to complain.

Although both Cornette and Brooks are still fuming they begrudgingly accept.

Rating: B, good grade start for the women story and the Authorities get to shine.

AJ Styles vs Sid Vicious

Much in tone as the other matches Sid’s only concern seems to be to damage his opponent no matter how. AJ wins by DQ after Sid powerbombs him through the Spanish announce table.

AJ Styles wins via DQ, after being put through an announce table.

Rating: B, AJ still needs momentum.

We cut to the outside as Don West is getting ready to interview a soon to arrive Rob van Dam. As Van Dam steps out of the car he is blindsided by Robert Roode and tossed onto the hood of his car. Roode goes to the top of the car and delivers a flying elbow drop before quickly making his get away

Rating: B, good follow up on RVD vs Roode

Sabu vs Matt Bently

The experienced Sabu makes quick work of Matt Bently although he did get some spots in.

Sabu wins via submission, after locking in the Camel Clutch

Rating: D, WTF even the women do better.

Stevie Richards vs Doug Williams

Both men impress here as Stevie still has it and Doug displays his technical excellence. It ends when Stevie manages to escape the Chaos Theory (Flip German Suplex) and hits the Stevie Kick for the pin.

Stevie Richards wins via pin, after hitting the Stevie Kick.

Rating: C, good especially since Doug is so unknown.

Team Canada (Petey Williams & Eric Young) vs The Naturals

Classic tag team affair here between these experienced and high flying workers. Both get in an equal amount of offence put in the end the greater strength of Team Canada is too much as Petey hits the Canadian Destoyer on Chase Stevens for the win as EY keeps Andy Douglas at bay.

Team Canada win via pin, after Petey Williams hits the Canadian destroyer.

Rating: C, decent.

Sean Sexy & Nick Dinsmore vs America’s Most Wanted©

The odd pairing of these two entertaining and technical experts put up a good fight against the bad boys that are AMW. AMW’s experience and cheating wins the day though as Storm distracts the ref for Harris to hit the beer bottle on Sean followed by a Death Sentence by Storm and Harris on Sean after knocking Dinsmore off the apron. After the match Dinsmore starts freaking out again.

AMW win via pin, after using a foreign object and hitting the Death Sentence on Sean.

Rating: C, decent but should be better given those involved.

Peter Gruner vs Johnny Swinger

Pete does a good job of playing every man hero face in peril here and Johnny really sells his attitude in this high flying affair. In the end Peter’s greater experience in singles competition shines through and he hits the Shooting Star Press for the win to a standing applause from the crowd.

Peter Gruner wins via pin, after hitting the Shooting Star Press.

Rating: C, also good given Swinger’s relative lack on overness.

Jay Lethal© vs Kenzo Suzuki

Kenzo tries to take it to Lethal using stiff strikes and kicks. And although he lands a fair few Lethal’s speed and agility enables him to dodge and counter a lot into some nice spots. After hitting the flying elbow drop Jay Lethal puts Kenzo in the Lethal Combination for the win.

Jay Lethal wins via pin, after hitting the lethal combination.

Rating: C+, again decent.

Rhino vs Bob Holly

In a totally different matchup from the last two the brawling animal that is Rhino takes on “Hardcore” Holly. Rhino soon shows Holly what true hardcore is all about because whatever Holly throws at him Rhino just keeps coming back for more. After a mid ring collision Rhino is first back upon his feet and he hits a picture perfect Gore for the win.

Rhino wins via pin, after hitting the Gore.

Rating: B-, good match.

Backstage we see Brock Lesnar looking for revenge on the attack on RVD at the start of the evening. As he enters the Made Men locker room only Monty Brown is there. He shrugs and says; “you will do for now.” A shocked Monty doesn’t have time to react and they end up in a wild brawl with Lesnar having the best of it until security come and brake them up.

Rating: A, whoohoo and the wars continue.

Diamond Dallas Page vs Booker T

These two competitors know each other through and through and it really showed. They put on an albeit somewhat old school master class of wrestling, really telling a story in the ring and both getting in their spots. The end comes when DDP goes for the Diamond Cutter but Booker has the wherewithal to plant his big boot between DDP’s legs before it can connect. DDP hunches over in pain setting him up for the patented Scissor Kick which gives Booker his 4th successful defense.

Booker T wins via pin, after hitting the Scissor Kick after a low blow.

Rating: B, whoot the legends title has gone up a grade in prestige, pushing it is working.

Rob Van Dam vs Vader

As Van Dam makes his way to the ring he is still visibly hurt by the earlier assault. The crowd pops even harder then normal for his finger point routine as they applaud his tenacity. Vader comes out to heavy boos of the crowd but it doesn’t seem to affect him. As the bell rings Vader immediately targets RVD’s ribs as those seem to be bothering him the most. Hitting hard rib shots, shoulder blocks, an assortment of slams and submission maneuvers.

It really seems like RVD is going to be on the loosing end of this one. But as Vader sets him up for a splash in the corner he manages to dodge it and start and offense of his own using what speed and energy he has left by hitting Vader with a barrage of kicks. After the umpteenth kick Vader finally goes down and RVD slowly heads up top. Five Star Frog Splash!! But Vader moved out of the way! RVD took too long getting to the top rope! Vader drags RVD to the corner while he is clutching his ribs in agony. He is setting him up for the Vader Bomb! Just at the millisecond Vader is about to jump RVD gets up and gets underneath Vader bringing him to the floor. RVD grabs Vader’s tights as he holds him pinned to the floor. 1,2,3! It’s over!

RVD wins via pin, after countering a Vader Bomb into a rollup and grapping the tights.

Rating: B, good match

After both Vader and RVD, assisted by Sabu, make their exit out come the Main Event Mafia. They give a mocking applause to RVD and then start lampooning and mocking the Foundation. Claiming the only way they can win is when the ref is too much of a wimp and gives an easy disqualification. And that without the Main Event Mafia TNA would be nothing. They pay particular attention to Samoa Joe calling him a overrated tub of lard and calling AJ and Daniels a bunch of lightweight flipity flop pansies. Sting then takes the microphone and talks about the lack of respect in TNA. Just at the second the Foundation come pouring out the entrance ramp we go off the air.

Rating: B+, stable wars oh stable wars.

Show Rating: B+, Whoot again!

TNA Impact

Held at the American Airlines Arena (South East)

Attendance: 7.264

TV Rating: 2.13

Pre Show:

Senshi won a battle royal.

Rating: C

Main Show:

Cornette and Heyman are sitting in Cornette’s office when in comes Becky Bayless with a tape they should see. The tape shows Sonjay Dutt barely visible hiding under the ring of Lethal’s past matches. Upset Cornette and Heyman go look for Dutt. As they arrive in his dressing room he is nowhere to be found but the walls are covered in Jay Lethal posters covered with large X’s in what seems to be blood!

Rating: B, Nice (forgot to write Dutt’s run-ins the last matches Doh!)

Abyss vs Scott Hall

Scott spends most of the time pandering to the crowd at every opportunity he gets. He doesn’t seem to have his mind on the game. Abyss’s mind is clearly gone but that just leads him to inflict a lot of pain on Hall here. Eventually Abyss catches hall in the Black Hole Slam to get the 1,2,3.

Abyss wins via pin, after hitting the Balck Hole Slam.

Rating: C, Hall was of his game surprise, surprise.

Jeff Jarret vs Kevin Nash

Jarret puts up a brave fight against the recuperated Nash. Nahs dominates the start of the match but after a chop block by Jarret on Nash’s prone legs things even out with Jarret having the upper hand in parts. Things come to an end when an enraged Samoa Joe runs into the ring wielding a whipping rod and starts wailing on Nash.

Nash wins via DQ, after Samoa Joe attacked him with a foreign object.

Rating: B-, nice considering it was a short match.

We are back in Cornette’s office and we him and Heyman discussing how to spice up the upcoming tag title bouts. They decide to put Sabin vs Storm one on one next week.

Rating: B+, the tag storyline needed more heat.

Micky Knuckles vs Velvet Sky

Micky has realized that the true bimbo’s were the beautiful people and that they had tricked her into fighting for them. Velvet Sky doesn’t stand much of a chance against the fury that is knuckles even when she takes the low road Knuckles keeps going after her finally putting her away with a Redneck Hangover (Shining Wizard).

Micky Knuckles wins via pin, after hitting the Redneck Hangover.

Rating: D, about what expected giving previous segment and respective overness.

Melissa vs Amy Dumas

Amy has been sent out by friend and colleague Varocity to soften up Melissa. While the former Lita does a good job of this the skill and agility of Melissa proves too much for her and Melissa picks up the V with an Air Raid Crash.

Melissa wins via pin, after hitting the Air Raid Crash

Rating: C+, good match

Eric Young vs Andrew Martin

Young has been on a roll as of late and it continues here as Martin just can’t get a hold of him. Even when he does 8 times out of 10 Young manages to slip out. Eventually Martin seems to be slowing down in his berserker offence and Young manages to get in some darting shots. After sufficiently weakening the big man he hits the Death Valley Driver for the win.

Young wins via pin, after hitting the Death Valley Driver.

Rating: C, average but good for the overness + momentum transfer.

Petey Williams vs King V

It is Petey’s turn to face the massive King and while Petey is strong he is not on the same level as Abyss. He is a lot faster tough and more methodical in his offense. He keeps darting around the big man continuously focusing on his legs and knees.

King V eventually manages to catch him though and has him locked in a massive Bearhug. As Williams begins to fade the crowd start chanting his name louder and louder. As the ref is about to drop his hand for the third time Williams gets a rush of adrenaline and hits V with some headbutts which slightly loosen the grip which enable him to power out of the move.

Petey runs to the ropes and hits a jumping baseball slide precisely on King V’s knees. This takes the big man down. Using all his strength Petey then drags V to the center of the ring and he attempts to lock in the Sharpshooter. King V puts up a valiant effort as Petey struggles to turn him over. Eventually he manages it and V has no choice but to tap out.

Petey Williams wins via submission, after King V taps out in the Sharpshooter.

Rating: C, see above.

Styles and Daniels vs Team 3D

Styles and Daniels reunite here as they look to revenge 3D’s betrayal and what they did to the Guns last week. The match starts off evenly enough as both teams seem equally matched. Team 3D gain the upper hand tough after some blatant cheating and proceed to cut the ring in half, leaving Styles with nothing to do but watch his partner get worked on.

As team 3D prepare to hit Daniels with the 3D Ray tosses him up for Devon to power down but somehow Daniels uses the momentum to hit a huge flying forearm on Devon. As Ray turns around he sees his partner lying on the floor and Daniels inching towards AJ. He tries to stop Daniels making the tag but he is too late.

AJ springboards in and hits a flying forearm of his own and proceeds by tossing Ray out of the ring. Devon who is the legal man at this point has come too and grabs AJ from behind looking to hit an Atomic Drop. AJ manages to slip out the back as he gets hoisted up and as Devon turns he hits him with the Pele! He proceeds to put Devon in the Styles Clash but just at that moment Ray comes charging in. Fortunately Daniels has recovered and he is able to intercept Ray. Styles Clash 1,2,3! It’s over.

AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels win via pin, after AJ hits the Styles Clash on Devon.

Rating: B-, now that’s more like it for the tag division.

Peter Gruner vs Sonjay Dutt

Sonjay comes out looking more maniacal then ever. Peter looks pretty confident after last weeks win against Swinger. Both these guys put on a master class of high flying without it turning into a spotfest. This is mainly due to the experienced Gruner’s excellent Psychology. Sonjay’s willingness to cheat however ends up giving him the upper hand tough in this tight affair as he uses his flower bowl to knock Gruner out when the ref wasn’t looking as he was busy sending Lethal away who had made his way to the ring to confront Sonjay. Sonjay then makes a bee line to the back before Lethal can catch him. Lethal follows in hot pursuit.

Sonjay Dutt wins via pin, after hitting Gruner with an illegal object while the ref was distracted accidently by Lethal.

Rating: B-, good stuff.

Nick Dinsmore vs Chris Harris

In this rare singles outing “The Wildcat” proves that he is no slouch wrestling alone in this highly technical affair. Unfortunately for Dinsmore Harris is also just as proficient in cheating when alone and this allows Harris to control much of the affair.

Just as it seems Dinsmore has the advantage tough and Harris has used up his bag of tricks, Dinsmore hits a release suplex on Harris but he collides with the ref! Dinsmore tries to bring the ref back to his senses but as he is doing that out from the back comes Rob Conway! He hits Dinsmore with the Ego Trip while his back is turned and proceeds to drape Harris’s arm over Nick. He then drags the ref over and slaps him awake and the ref counts the 1,2,3!

Chris Harris won via pin, after Rob Conway interfered and hit an Ego Trip on Dinsmore.

Rating: B, very good for two non upper carders.

Chris Harris isn’t done tough as he calls out Alex Shelly to come and face him man to man next week. Or if he is too chicken and doesn’t have the guts to come out. The Guns music hits and out comes a still bandaged, from the table shot, Shelly with a microphone. Just as he wants to say he accepts he is jumped from behind by Angle, Booker and Nash. Leaving Harris in the ring laughing his ass off.

Rating: B+, and more heat for the tags.

Rhino vs Rick Steiner

These two powerhouses have an all out brawl here as neither can out power the other. Steiner may be a bit stronger but Rhino’s unbelievable grit and determination seems to make them equally matched. After a lot of back and forth punching, slamming and suplexing Rhino hits a Gore out of nowhere for the win.

Rhino wins via pin, after hitting the Gore.

Rating: C+, disappointing.

Rob Van Dam vs Sid Vicious

And in our main event of the evening its classic big strong man against somewhat smaller but quicker and more agile man. Van Dam does a good job of still selling the damage he sustained last week and Sid smells blood! Van Dam tries to mount numerous comebacks but Sid either takes a shortcut or simply over powers Van Dam who can’t fully utilize his speed and agility.

Sid seems to have this match in the bag after he whips Van Dam into the ropes and connects with the Big Boot. He hauls Van Dam up from the floor and locks him in the Power Bomb position. Just as he lifts him too the top suddenly the lights go out. We hear Sting’s music and through all the flashing camera’s we see someone descending from the rafters.

What is happening is Sting out to rescue someone from his own stable mates?! As the lights go on we see a perplexed Sid Vicious in the middle of the ring looking around with Van Dam lying on the floor groaning and Sting nowhere in sight. Suddenly from behind the ring out comes someone. Its not Sting its Raven! And he is wielding a barbed wire chair! Before Sid or the ref can interfere he hits Van Dam not once, not twice but three times! The ref has no choice to call a DQ, Sid looses it as victory was in his grasp. Just as he is going to lay his hands on Raven the light go out again and when they go back on Raven is gone! All we here on the speakers is a soft eerie Nevermore, Nevermore, Nevermore……

Rob Van Dam wins via DQ, after Raven interfered and hit him with a barbed wire chair.

Rating: B, Sid is really delivering the goods lately so might have to reconsider his status as JTTS.

Before we finish the show though we see a very unsteady shot as it seems a camera man is running. From the distance we hear a ruckus and as the cameraman closes in we see an unhinged door with the Frontline logo on it. As the cameraman peeks through the door opening to look inside he is pushed of his feet by a running Robert Roode, Monty Brown and Lance Cade. As the camera falls to the floor we can just see that Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar are laid out in their dressing room.

Rating: B+, War huh, good god ya’ll. What is it good for?! Absolutely killer storylines!

Show Rating: B, good enough.
