Both Garcia and Seduction did good work at ringside. Grunt was off his game tonight but the crowd didn't care for the match at all. They were all off to use the bathroom or buy Jim Force merchandise. Waldorf pinned Stink with the Waldorf Salad Toss. My match with Bruce is coming tonight! He's gonna kill me. I --- Hold on a moment." [James looks toward the camera.] James Justice "You're done here." T-Rex was, of course, the man here in his domination of Jameson. Though Jameson held his own at times. But it was with the Extinction that T-Rex got the pinfall victory. Winner: T-Rex Match Rating: D+ [Following the match, as T-Rex celebrated with Sheik Mustafa, Nicky Champion's music hit! Nicky came out from the back and stared at T-Rex from the top of the entrance.] Nicky Champion "Very impressive win there, T. I can call you T, right? Or maybe you prefer to be called Rex? Here boy, here boy! Good boy! They call you the Jurassic Monster. You are the guy who used to bully kids at camp. Yeah, I remember you and you're trying to bully me here in USPW again just like at camp! Well, I am not going to stand for it here! At Liberty And Justice, I am going to vanquish the demon that you are once and for all! And soon after that, Nicky will be called Champion once again!" Two great athletes and they just don't click inside the ring! That definitely brought the match rating down a few pegs. The announcer and colour commentator sold the match, though, and announced that Steve Flash would be facing the winner of the Bruce/James match at Liberty And Justice to get a second crack at the USPW World Title. Flash got the pinfall victory with the Flash Bang. It definitely wasn't some technical contest but nobody expected it to be that way. Justice did a little stalling early but he was slowly able to wear the larger Giant down, working over his back. The referee got knocked down midway through the match and James used the time to get a chair and knock Bruce with it! He slammed him in the back several times as the crowd started clapping and chanting for Bruce to get back into the match! Justice waited for Bruce to get back up and swung the chair --- KEE-RACK! Bruce PUNCHED the chair! Definitely not enough selling here but the crowd was still into it! Bruce started his comeback as the referee began coming to! The crowd was on their feet! Bruce grabbed James around the throat and that edge of anticipation slid through the fans as Bruce raised James in the air and began turning toward every corner! Then a fan came out of nowhere and leaped the guardrail! A chair was tossed in the ring and the referee went to grab that chair and the fan grabbed another chair! He slid in behind the referee's back and hit Bruce in the back with the chair! The fan hit Bruce again and he released James Justice! The fan helped James set up Bruce --- LIBERATION SLAM!!! The fan rolled out of the ring as James made the cover and the referee turned back around: 1... NO! 2... NOT THIS WAY! 3!!! Winner: James Justice Match Rating: C+ [Wait a second...! That's no fan...! The Giant is down and hurting badly! But the crowd pops as Steve Flash comes running down to the ring, leaping on top turnbuckle --- MISSLE DROPKICK!! It hits Griffith as Justice throws him in the way and James Justice is out of there! Steve Flash points toward Justice and then hits Griffith with the Flash Bang! For the first week of March, USPW American Wrestling has been pre-empted due to a dog show. USPW American Wrestling will be returning in a week however with a go-home card as we head toward Liberty And Justice. There are sketchy reports coming to us right now that are making the claim that the wrestler known as Puerto Rican Power has been found dead this afternoon. He was scheduled to make an appearance at the USPW American Wrestling show this evening but reports are saying that fellow wrestler Jumbo Jackson found the wrestler lying unconcious within his hotel room and immediately phoned 911. More details to come as they are known as it is unknown how this will effect the USPW American Wrestling show scheduled to be taped this evening. ... Is he really dead? No one seems to know for sure. Are the boys being worked? Bruce and James really didn't like the thought or sound of that. The locker room doors open and Sam Strong and Jack Avatar step in.] Sam Strong "I know you guys are wondering about Puerto Rican Power. It is such a sad situation with that guy. We will be having a tribute video for him later on this evening. We also have a great opponent lined up for Steve later tonight in the main event." [bruce steps through the crowd in the locker room and looks down at Sam.] Bruce The Giant "Why are you working us, Sam?" Sam Strong "I'm doing my job, Bruce. Just leave it at that." [sam and Bruce meet each other's eyes and Bruce takes a step back to the Owner of USPW, stepping back within the crowd.] Jack Avatar "Have a good evening, Gentlemen." PS. I'm also running a USPW game and have formed a Tag Team with Primus&Des. They've been pretty good for me. I'm using the more popular Des to drag Primus up with him. The match went back and forth with Alicia Strong looking good out there. In the end, Cherry Bomb dodged a Strong Arm Tactic and exited the ring, grabbing her belt and she was out of there, giving Alicia and Suzanne the countout victory and annoying her partner. James Justice seemed to be taking Nicky Champion loosely and Champion got a near fall on a roll-up early in the match, showing with his fingers just how close Justice was to losing the title! It was a rather short match relatively speaking but the crowd was hot the entire time as it went back and forth. Nicky nearly hit the Hawkeye Hammer several times during the match! T-Rex came down and served as a clever distraction to help Justice take back the advantage. It was downhill from there for Nicky Champion. Justice hit the Liberation Slam and made the pinfall with his feet on the ropes for leverage, getting the 1 --- 2 --- 3! Winner: James Justice Match Rating: B- [Following the match, T-Rex entered the ring and took down Nicky Champion, hitting him with the Extinction! T-Rex celebrated over the broken body of his opponent next week at Liberty And Justice!] [backstage walking down a hallway is the opponent for Steve Flash tonight. Danny Jillefski "And HE'S facing Steve Flash....and it's next!" The crowd here in Huntsville was hyped for this match between Steve Flash and Bryan Holmes! Flash used some quick, high flying techniques against Holmes early on to keep his opponent off guard and Holmes had to slip out of the ring early in the match to regroup. Once inside, it was a good hard-fought technical showcase as they went through several grappling combinations with holds and counterholds, fighting to a stalemate several times and a standing ovation from the crowd here in Huntsville! Holmes started to take the advantage during the middle part of the match and focused his attack on the legs of Steve Flash to keep him from doing some of the flying moves. It worked early on as Flash's legs being hurt prevented him from getting to the top rope as quickly as he would have liked. This enabled Holmes to get up and body slam him off the top. Holmes bounced off the ropes and hit a Rolling Thunder on Flash for a two count! Holmes made an attempt on a Figure 4 but Flash rolled him into an inside cradle for a two count. Flash started firing back against his technically skilled opponent. Flash got Holmes down and hit a frog splash for another two count as Holmes somehow kicked out! The match continued cleanly between these two with referee Jez McArthuer presiding. The end came as both men were battling with fists of fury and Flash pushed Holmes against the ropes. Holmes came back and Flash hit the Flash Bang out of nowhere, securing the three count and a major win as he looks toward Liberty And Justice and another USPW World Title shot! Winner: Steve Flash Match Rating: C+ [Following the match, James Justice came out and snuck into the ring with a chair, hitting Steve Flash in the back with it while the crowd booed! Justice hit Flash in the leg with the chair three times before raising it up to boos from the crowd and the show ended with the USPW World Champion reigning supreme. Nobody was expecting a technical wrestling classic between these two. Jack was even off his game, which brought the match down some. But Bruce got the pinfall following a Giant Choke Slam! The best part of the match was when Peter Valentine hit the Heart Breaker and got the 1 - 2 - 3. [Jumbo jumps and then turns, running out of the ring and through the crowd with Shane Sneer hot on his trail. Actually this was one of the better matches of the night with several near falls and Alicia Strong coming within eyelashes of winning the USPW Women's Title belt! Alicia really started to gain momentum toward the end of the match but Cherry Bomb caught her with a rake of the eyes and then went ringside, grabbing her belt. Alicia reached out of the ring after her and took a belt shot right between the eyes causing a DQ! After tonight you'll get to tell them about the night that you came so close to winning the USPW World Title but you blew it! You see, I'm all about justice, so Jack Griffith will be nowhere around. You can't blame it on somebody like him. The only person you're going to have to blame is yourself. Tonight, Justice is going to be served!" It had some good brawling spots in it with T-Rex ramming Nicky Champion up against the guardrail and avalanching him there with authority! Or Nicky Champion hitting a DDT on T-Rex and then an STF that T-Rex eventually powered out of. Nicky Champion went for a Hawkeye Hammer later on but T-Rex hit him with a spear instead! Referee Baby Jamie was taken out later during the match, leaving Champion open to three straight chairshots from T-Rex! T-Rex tossed the chair out of the ring and woke up the referee, locking in the Jurassic Crush and Nicky had no choice but to submit. Blonde Bombshell got the crowd fired up with claps as the two men circled one another inside the ring. A lockup and James Justice kicked things off with some fast technical wrestling on Flash but Flash used counters to everything Justice had until they ended in a stalemate and applause from the audience! Blonde Bombshell at ringside helped cheer on her man, shouting instructions. Another lockup and the next five minutes belonged to the Champion, going right after the back and leg of Steve Flash and Flash sold it like a champ! After all, Justice and Holmes had focused on his leg last week on American Wrestling. Steve Flash was down a wheel so to speak but he avoided a splash in the corner and limped over toward Justice there, going up and catching Justice in the face with his good knee! But both men hit the mat with that move and Flash clutched his leg, face twisting in pain. Blonde Bombshell got the crowd clapping, trying to get Flash to his feet. Flash grabbed the ropes and pulled himself up and the next five minutes had Flash in control over Justice, keeping that injued leg away from the Champion. Flash took Justice down with a snap suplex and then turned and limped over to the top turnbuckle! Steve Flash went up top, looking down at Justice and leaped --- SHOOTING STAR PRESS --- MISSES!!! James Justice rolled out of the way and Steve Flash hit the mat hard! James Justice makes a cover: 1... 2... SHOULDER UP!! The crowd explodes as Steve Flash gets that shoulder up. James Justice pulls himself to his feet and gives a few stomps to the back of Steve Flash, beginning to work over his opponent as Acid and Adrian Garcia come out from the back. What are they doing here? Justice seems just as surprised as everyone else but he continues his focus on Steve Flash. Justice is a little distracted and whips Steve Flash into the ropes, lowering his head --- KNEELIFT --- GERMAN SUPLEX...WITH A BRIDGE! 1... 2... KICKOUT! Steve Flash nearly got a quick pinfall there. Adrian Garcia circles around the ring and begins talking to Blonde Bombshell. Steve Flash signals for the Flash Bang on James Justice! But then he looks toward ringside where Adrian Garcia is shoving Blonde Bombshell! Flash rolls out of the ring as Bombshell slaps Garcia and referee Jez McArthuer tries to break that up so from behind Acid attacks Steve Flash, taking out his knee! Acid slides up to the top turnbuckle --- SHOOTING STAR PRESS OUTSIDE THE RING!!! Steve Flash is hurting badly! James Justice looks down and...smiles! Acid rolls Flash back in the ring and James Justice grabs him --- LIBERATION SLAM! Justice grabs the referee and turns him back toward the action, making a cover on Steve Flash: 1... 2... 3!!! Winner: James Justice Match Rating: B- [Acid rolls in the ring and ignores Justice, going right after Steve Flash with stomps! Adrian Garcia shoves Blonde Bombshell to the ground at ringside and rolls inside the ring, joining Acid in putting the boots to Flash as James Justice leaves with his USPW World Title belt intact! Acid slides up the turnbuckles and looks down at Steve Flash --- Swandive Senton Bomb also known as the Acid Rain Bomb! Of course everyone has their own way to prepare. Some are listening to stories from Bruce The Giant, others are playing checkers. James Justice is listening to a walkman. Sam Strong and Jack Avatar walk into the locker room, commanding the attention of everyone] Sam Strong "We have seen some major changes within this company since Jack came in and took over the head booking duties. Just in the last week, we have seen the releases of wrestlers like Stink, Grunt, Lex Appeal, manager Sheik Mustafa and referee Robbie Sanchez. We have also seen some interesting signings like that of Kirk Jameson, Primus Allen and Lobo Blanco among others. Beginning in the next few weeks, Jack and myself will be sitting down with wrestlers in our office and evaluating your position here on the roster. So more cuts may be coming." Jack Avatar "Of course I don't want you to think that I am looking to make that many changes here in USPW because I think we have a great core of wrestlers. Many of you will be keeping your jobs. I am hoping that most of you will be. Tonight, we will be selecting five wrestlers to take into the office one man at a time. Those five wrestlers are: Lobo Blanco, Des Davids, Ernie Turner, Tribal Warrior and Java." Sam Strong "Jack will post the card for tonight so you all better get ready for action as well."
