USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 3 May 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 4,026

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .43

Grudge Match

Joss Thompson vs. Nicky Champion

The show opens with the big grudge match that wasn't so big here. Joss Thompson was off his game tonight but he did sell some for Nicky Champion. It was a definite back and forth matchup that only ended when T-Rex came into the ring and speared Nicky Champion, causing a DQ.

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: D+

[T-Rex continued his assault on his DoI opponent, beating him into the mat and setting him up for the Jurassic Crush when a flood of officials broke things up. One or two of them went flying though with an overhead belly to belly suplex by T-Rex!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[The crowd cheered for the AmericaTron lighting up to show the #1 Contender and USPW World Television Champion Bruce The Giant and they hung on his every word.]

Bruce The Giant

"'ey mates! G'day to everyone and bad day to Peter Valentine. It's gonna be a very bad day for him, eh? He gets a shot at this USPW World Television Title and 'e is gonna lose! Why do I say that? Because I'm Bruce The Giant! RAWR!!"

[bruce makes the symbol for the chokeslam as we head back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger_alt2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FumihiroOta.jpg

Anger vs. Fumihiro Ota

Anger hasn't been seen in a very long time here on USPW Wrestling. And by the way he's come out, it looks like he's been turned into a zombie! Ota used his definite speed advantage but the moaning of 'Brains' by Anger frustrated the masked man. Ota finally struck with the Ninja Strike and he got the pinfall on Anger.

Winner: Fumihiro Ota

Match Rating: D-

[Following the match, Larry Wood went out from the back and headed to the ring. He slid in behind Ota and made his attack! Wood set up Ota for his Running Big Foot but Ota got out of the ring, saving himself from a big boot from Wood.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CherryBomb.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AprilAppleseed.jpg

Cherry Bomb vs. April Appleseed

A decent match for a Women's Wrestling match. Wanda Fish in commentary said she could still beat both of these women inside the ring. Cherry Bomb was mostly dominant in this match as she heads toward her rematch with Alicia Strong. Cherry Bomb took April Appleseed down with the Cherry Bomb and got the pinfall victory.

Winner: Cherry Bomb

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The focus turns toward the AmericaTron and boos as the screen lights up, showing the USPW World Champion pacing in his locker room area.]

James Justice

"I can't believe he did this. Not only do I have to defend my USPW World Title against Steve Flash tonight but my match with Bruce The Giant? It's gonna be inside of a steel cage! That is so not fair! And I haven't been using the World Title belt as a weapon. This belt is an extension of me. It's like an extra arm or leg so how can it be illegal to hit people with it. If I was hitting people, of course, which I'm not. ARGH!"

[James punches the locker and then shakes his hand, looking like he hurt it. And then it's back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DeanWaldorf.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MarvStatler.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AdrianGarcia.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Java.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TribalWarrior.jpg

Ring Generals vs. Savage Fury

Adrian Garcia led the Ring Generals out for this matchup against the top contenders to the USPW World Tag Team Titles. However, everyone used this as a potty break or a naptime for you older folks. Few people saw Java pin Marv Statler with the Greetings From The Island.

Winners: Savage Fury

Match Rating: E

[And a few more members of the crowd woke up when the Towers of Power came flying down to the ring and attacked Savage Fury! This was a major attack and revealed the unveiling of their new Total Elimination finishing move on both Java and Tribal Warrior!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg/http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg/http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine-1.jpg

[A video plays hyping Declaration of Independence where we'll either see James Justice or Steve Flash defend the USPW World Title against the USPW World Television Title held by either Bruce The Giant or Peter Valentine. We'll find out later tonight just who will be stepping inside the ring!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine-1.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match

Bruce The Giant defends vs. Peter Valentine

For the second match in a row, Peter Valentine was simply no match for Bruce The Giant. The crowd could spot this early and it brought down their interest for the match. Not to mention Bruce was tiring toward the end, Valentine was off his game and there was a lack of selling on both parts. The match ended with a Giant Choke Slam and Bruce heading to Declaration of Independence.

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

[The crowd cheered for the arrival of USPW Owner Sam Strong out from the back and he headed to the ring. He slid inside and proceeded to do ten jumping jacks and then got the microphone.]

Sam Strong

"Joss Thompson thinks I'm too old. He thinks I don't have it anymore and that maybe I never did. However, I know he's wrong. Thanks to each and every fan out there I was one of the more popular wrestlers out there. It was Sam Strong that helped sell tickets and make it possible for guys like Joss Thompson to be out here. I am even the man who opened this company and gave him a chance to compete here in the great US of A and in the greater Huntsville Alabama area! (cheap pop!) Joss, you made a big mistake when you challenged me and an even bigger mistake when you attacked my daughter. At Declaration of Independence, it will be the USA declaring their independence against the british invasion of Joss Thompson. And before I leave, I have one question to ask you, Joss: whatcha gonna do?"

[sam poses to a massive crowd ovation for about a minute before he heads to the back and it's main event time!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BlondeBombshell_alt1.jpg

USPW World Title Match

James Justice defends vs. Steve Flash

Blonde Bombshell accompanied Steve Flash down to the ring for this USPW World Title matchup. Flash has had several matches against James Justice in the past. Can this one live up to past hype? The match started at a slow, even pace, showing that both of these men were prepared for a long and grueling battle. After several standoffs, Justice took a low road and took the advantage over Steve Flash. Justice began working over a leg of Flash, taking the time to ram it against the ringpost and even locking in a Figure 4 Leglock! Flash tried to fight. He struggled as Justice used the ropes for leverage but would break before the referee saw him. Finally, the referee caught him and made him break the hold. Justice got up in the referee's face and Flash rolled him up: 1 --- 2 --- KICKOUT!

Steve Flash was so close to winning the USPW World Title! Justice went back on the attack and it was a ducked clothesline and a Pele Kick that brought the old man Steve Flash back into this! Flash started taking control and got Justice in a corner and pounded away on him! He brought Justice down with a body slam and then headed to the top turnbuckle. Flash ran his thumb across his throat --- FROG SPLASH! We could have a new USPW World Champion right here: 1 --- 2 --- SHOULDER UP! Somehow James Justice got the shoulder up! Steve Flash gets back up and goes back to work on the USPW World Champion! Flash went up top and hit a missle dropkick from the top turnbuckle! Flash bounced off the ropes --- ROLLING THUNDER CONNECTS! Steve Flash is building a head of steam! Flash goes to the turnbuckles again but somehow James Justice gets up and shakes the ropes and Steve Flash crotches himself! Justice moves slowly up the corner and hooks Steve Flash --- SUPERPLEX! Both men are down and hurting! Justice slowly recovers first and he makes a cover: 1 --- Justice's feet are on the ropes! --- 2 --- The ref doesn't see the feet --- 3!!

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C

[James Justice is STILL your USPW World Champion! Justice slowly gets up and looks out toward the entrance ramp where Bruce The Giant is standing and watching him. Justice makes the 'just bring it' motion and Bruce begans ambling down the ramp and we're out of time! We'll see you at Declaration of Independence!]

-just shakes my head and sighs as I didn't set DoI to a PPV so, yeah, DoI will only be seen within the Louisiana Auditorium.-

Ouch. I hate it when that happens. Though sometimes good things come from stuff like this. Just not THIS particular event though.

USPW World Tag Team Titles Match

The Towers of Power w/ Jennifer Heat defend vs. Savage Fury

The show kicked off with our USPW World Tag Team Titles match and a heavy hitting match it was. Mick Muscles as off his game but Danny Rushmore looked good. Both teams had some good double-team moves but the end came when Jennifer Heat threw powder in the eyes of Tribal Warrior and Rushmore hit him with the Atomic Boot for the pinfall win.

Winners: The Towers of Power

[The AmericaTron lights up backstage where Sam Strong and Nicky Champion are in Sam Strong's office.]

Sam Strong

"We have some big matches tonight, Nicky. I am going to show Joss Thompson and the world that I still have what it takes inside the ring and you are going to go one on one with your childhood. It really takes you back, doesn't it?"

Nicky Champion

"Yeah, it does, Sam. Tonight, I extinguish that part of my past by beating T-Rex in the center of the ring and you give your past one last go around by beating Joss Thompson...right?"

[Nicky definitely looks worried but Sam pats him on the back.]

Sam Strong

"You're gonna do fine, kid."

[Cut back to the ring.]

Fumihiro Ota vs. Larry Wood

The large mountain man Larry Wood against our resident ninja! Ota made it a point early on to avoid locking up with Wood, using his speed advantage until he was finally caught and suplexed by Wood! Wood maintained the advantage over Ota in what was a bit of a brutal beatdown. Then Wood went after the mask of Ota! He began ripping at it, pulling at it! He's pulling the mask right off of Fumihiro Ota! The crowd looks stunned as they watch and Wood gets the mask off revealing....

Wood looks stunned at the facepaint and Ota spits the asian mist into his eyes! Wood covers his eyes, screaming in pain as Ota takes a definite advantage here! Ota brings Woods down and goes up top --- MOONSAULT! He makes the cover: 1 --- 2 --- KICKOUT! Ota continues an assault until he suddenly runs right into the Big Foot by Wood! Wood makes the cover: 1 --- 2 --- 3!

Winner: Larry Wood

Match Rating: D-

[The crowd boos when the Americatron lights up to show the USPW World Champion James Justice.]

James Justice

"Bruce, I know you're listening. I know you're sitting back there in that locker room sweating it out but I'm not. I know I can beat you. I've beaten you before, you big animal. Sam was right about locking you inside a cage tonight but he wasn't right about putting me in there with you. However, someone has to be able to tame the beast and tonight that someone is the USPW World Champion James Justice. Tonight, Bruce, justice will be served!"

[Cut back to the ring.]

USPW Women's Title Match

Alicia Strong defends vs. Cherry Bomb

Our USPW Women's Title match here on Declaration of Independence is a good one as Alicia Strong defends the title against the former Champion Cherry Bomb. A few good spots in there as Cherry focuses on the arm of Alicia Strong, ramming it into the ringpost and holding onto armbars. Alicia fought back with a few body slams and even a dropkick! The end came when Alicia hit Cherry Bomb with a Strong Arm Tactic and got the pinfall.

Winner: Alicia Strong

Match Rating: C

[The crowd looked a little stunned to see someone new coming down toward the ring. A woman they've never seen before and she slid into the ring, offering her hand to congratulate Alicia Strong. Alicia took it and was clotheslined down by this woman! The woman straddled Alicia and smiled as she looked down at her, grabbing her by the hair and ramming her head against the mat several times before sliding her hands down her body and touching her...women's title. The woman got back up and did a few hip gyrations over Alicia Strong before moving to the back as officials came in to help Alicia.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JossThompson_alt1-1.jpg

[The crowd boos as the AmericaTron lights up to show Joss Thompson.]

Joss Thompson

"Now that is how you make an impact here, isn't it? I just want to say bravo to Miss Amber Allen. But enough about that, tonight is about one man and one man only: me. The Future Joss Thompson. Tonight, Sam Strong, you better have some help finding your way down to the ring. I know you've got that touch of alzheimers disease and all. So put your walker down, finish your prune juice and head into the ring to see what the Future is all about. And I'll tell you this much, Sam, the Future doesn't want you as a part of it."

[Joss smiles as we head back to the ring.]

Hair vs. Mask

Steve Flash w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Acid w/ Adrian Garcia

These two have met several times here in USPW but none with the stakes as big as it is tonight. Hair vs. Mask here tonight as Steve Flash takes on Acid! It was a definite high flying matchup with enough fast-paced moves to keep the crowd's attention. Several near-falls came early on and Flash hit Acid with three straight German Suplexes to the crowd's delight. They really wanna see that mask come off. Adrian Garcia did a little interference to keep his man on top but he was stopped by an attack by Blonde Bombshell! Apparently, she's seen enough and she knocks down Garcia with a few well-timed punches outside the ring!

Inside the ring, Flash and Acid are going back and forth with neither man maintaining a true advantage. The matchup lasts for nearly 14 minutes! Acid went up top for an Acid Rain Bomb but Flash moved at the last moment! Flash hit Acid with a Flash Bang out of nowhere and he made the cover, getting the 1 --- 2 --- 3!

Winner: Steve Flash

Match Rating: C+

[The crowd cheered because they'll finally get to see just who is under the mask! Steve Flash lays a few boots into Acid to keep him down and then goes for the mask with Acid's arms flailing! Suddenly, Giant Redwood steps into the ring and grabs Flash, headbutting him from behind! Acid quickly pulls away from Steve Flash and goes for the electric trimmers! Redwood holds Steve Flash and Acid shaves the head of Flash! What a travesty! Redwood helps Adrian Garcia to the back while Blonde Bombshell comes in to check on her man, crying over top of him as officials come down to help him to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[The crowd cheers wildly as the AmericaTron lights up to show the challenger for tonight's USPW World Title match: Bruce The Giant!]

Bruce The Giant

"James Justice, if 'ou think I 'elong in a 'age, 'ou may be 'ight! But 'onight I will be the one 'alking out of that 'age with the ooesspeeeedubba 'orld 'itle 'elt! RAWR!"

[if anyone can explain to me just what he said? Yeah, find the hidden meanings.]

Joss Thompson vs. Sam Strong

The crowd is stoked and ready for this matchup! It's The Future against the past here. The beginning went very back and forth with Joss breaking up any Sam Strong momentum by using the ropes and sliding outside the ring. Joss almost seemed afraid of Sam Strong at times until he raked the eyes and then started in on Strong. Thompson choked Strong on the ropes and then bounced off them and leaped onto Strong's back! The Future continued a beatdown of Sam Strong and dropped him with a DDT as someone else decided to walk down toward the ring.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JayChord.jpg

Some of the crowd seemed to know who he was, while others didn't. The announcers definitely did and let the crowd know that he is the son of Rip Chord: Jay Chord! Jay pulled up a chair and sat down at ringside while Thompson was slightly distracted by his presence. Thompson hit a second DDT on Sam Strong and made a cover: 1 --- 2 --- POWER KICKOUT! Sam Strong began his Strong Up! He shook off punches from Joss Thompson and fired back with a few of his own, knocking Thompson against the ropes! He whipped Thompson in and hit a big boot! Strong bounced off the ropes --- AND WAS NAILED BY A CHAIR FROM OUTSIDE THE RING!!! The referee immediately called for the DQ.

Winner: Sam Strong

Match Rating: B-

[Jay Chord slid in the ring and helped Joss Thompson up and they both put the boots to Sam Strong! The crowd booed heavily as Chord and Thompson shook hands and Chord raised Thompson's arm but he doesn't get the win tonight!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/T-Rex_alt1.jpg

[The AmericaTron lights up to show a pre-recorded interview with T-Rex, taped outside in front of a busy street.]

T-Rex

"Nicky Champion? You think you can beat me? You think I sweat you? I don't sweat you. I never have. You're just some punk kid who's living in the past. I live in the future, in the present, not the past, kid. Tonight we have hardcore rules? You think that's gonna be a problem for me? I'm the King of Hardcore! Tonight, in just a short while, you're gonna give up to my Jurassic Crush. Four letters, one man: T-Rex. Unlike you, I'm no role model. I'm no suck up. I'm not the man you want your kids to look up to. Tonight, Nicky Champion, you're gonna learn just why you shouldn't mess with me. Enjoy the ride."

[T-Rex growls into the camera as we head back to the ring.]

Hardcore Rules

T-Rex vs. Nicky Champion

A wild brawl from start to finish between these two that barely stayed within the ring. We saw chairs get involved, tables, ladders, garbage cans and more! We saw Nicky Champion use the ring bell on T-Rex and only get a two count! T-Rex put Nicky Champion through a table with a German RexPlex and only get a two count! Nicky Champion smacked T-Rex in the head with a chair several times over and T-Rex returned the favor. Both men were bleeding profusely before the match was over. Nicky Champion put T-Rex through a table with a Fisherman's Buster and got a two count from that! T-Rex used a Dragon RexPlex on Nicky Champion --- no bridge, all impact! Finally, T-Rex locked on the Jurassic Crush and with both men bleeding, Nicky Champion finally had to give it up.

Winner: T-Rex

USPW World Title Match

USPW World Television Title Match

Steel Cage Match

James Justice vs. Bruce The Giant

Tonight, both belts are on the line! It's the USPW World Champion against the USPW World Television Champion inside of a Steel Cage! As most people would expect, this match was a definite brawl since neither man is inclined to use a lot of technical holds or flying moves. James Justice was the first man to hit against the steel cage after Bruce reversed Justice's attempt to ram him into the cage. Bruce lifted James in a military press and then just rammed him into the cage, throwing Justice like a lawn dart! Bruce staggered toward the cage and made the first attempt to climb it but Bruce was too slow and Justice was able to catch him and rake his eyes and kick him low to send both men falling back down to the mat.

There was definitely not enough selling shown within this match and that brought the crowd's intensity down some but it was still an amazing back and forth showing between the two as the match continued on. It raged for ten and a half minutes! As the match continued, James Justice's stamina began overtaking Bruce's stamina as Bruce began to visibly tire. Both men had chances to climb the cage but was stopped by the other man. Bruce took the advantage late in the match and set up James Justice for the Giant Choke Slam! He raised Justice high into the air and held him up there for several seconds! He showed the crowd just what he was planning on doing --- JUSTICE REVERSES INTO A DDT!!! The crowd is SHOCKED as James Justice reverses the Giant Choke Slam into a DDT! Both men are lying nearly unconcious in the ring. Both men are bleeding onto the mat.

The 3,852 in attendance are on their feet, cheering for Bruce The Giant! James Justice is the first to stir and he crawls toward the ropes. Justice grabs the ropes and uses them to help himself up. He begins to climb the cage as Bruce begins to stir! Bruce begins to climb on the opposite side! Bruce has that considerable height advantage here. Justice makes it to the top and begins to climb over. Bruce isn't that far behind. Justice slowly begins to climb down as Bruce steps over the top of the cage. Both men leap toward the ground and it's a photo finish! The referees outside the ring begin arguing with one another as both James Justice and Bruce The Giant think they have it won. Danny Jillefski has the call.

Danny Jillefski

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match and...STILL THE USPW WORLD CHAMPION and the NEW USPW WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION: James Justice!"

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C+

[The crowd boos as James Justice is handed both belts and Bruce looks tired and upset. James moves back into the ring and celebrates with both belts, holding them up to boos from the crowd! What an ending and what a finish to Declaration of Independence!]

[Danny Jillefski shows first standing in front of a USPW logo.]

Danny Jillefski

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am here to announce that something horrible happened earlier in the day. We have some video tape footage here of an attack by Joss Thompson and Jay Chord on our owner Sam Strong within the parking lot when Strong arrived. If you are squeamish you might want to look away during the showing of this footage."

[The footage appears with Sam Strong arriving in a white automobile. The door opens and when he steps out he is immediately assaulted by Jay Chord and Joss Thompson. Chord throws him against one of the columns within the parking garage and then hooks him, nailing a Cradle Piledriver in the parking lot! Jay and Joss lay the boots to an obviously bleeding Sam Strong! They close the door and look around before running off quickly and the camera cuts back to Danny Jillefski.]

Danny Jillefski

"We do not know the condition of Sam Strong right now but when we get anything further, we will let you know. We urge Jay Chord and Joss Thompson to turn themselves in to the proper authorities. Thank you."

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[inside the arena, the crowd is stunned but boos when James Justice walks out carrying both the USPW World Title belt and the USPW World Television Title belt. He walks out toward the ring looking very serious as he steps inside and he is handed a microphone.]

James Justice

"I had an entire speech prepared earlier tonight about my victory over Bruce The Giant at Declaration of Independence but I am going to throw that all out and speak from the heart. Sam Strong brought me to this company when I was going through a low period in my life. He told me that I could compete again and that I am better than what I showed in my waning days in another corporation. Sam Strong believed in me and what happened to him earlier tonight was sick! Jay Chord, you would make your father disgusted with what you pulled tonight. Joss, you are the ringleader of this little group so you know what they say about cutting the head off a snake? That is exactly what I am going to do to you if I found you. I always talk about how Justice is going to be served? Well, soon, it will be when I get my hands on either of you two."

[James looks into the camera and drops the microphone heading toward the back. The fans have actually started to cheer for him some!]

USPW World Television Title Tournament Semis

Nicky Champion vs. Acid

Nicky was definitely distracted in this match after what happened to his mentor Sam Strong. But that didn't stop this from being a good match for USPW standards. Adrian Garcia tried to interfere but he couldn't stop Nicky from heading toward USPW Americana as Nicky hit the Hawkeye Hammer and kept Acid's losing streak going.

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: C

[The focus turns toward the announcers.]

Danny Jillefski

"Wanda, a big win for Nicky Champion here tonight despite his worry for Sam Strong."

Wanda Fish

"That's right, Danny. I have been told by my informants that Sam has been relocated to a hospital in this area and that Nicky Champion is heading there right now."

Danny Jillefski

"I am sure that Nicky will want to be there with his mentor when Sam regains conciousness."

Wanda Fish

"And on a personal note, I think what these young punks are doing is sick and I hope that someone puts them in their place."

Danny Jillefski

"I agree, Wanda. But the show must go on."

[And we're headed back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JayChord.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AmericanElemental.jpg

Jay Chord vs. American Elemental

Jay came out with Joss Thompson at his side for this match against American Elemental. Not too much to say about this match. Chord dominated and showed he has some good wrestling talent. The 17 year old got the pinfall win following the Cradle Piledriver.

Winner: Jay Chord

Match Rating: D

[Following the match, some cops approached Jay and Joss and they took off through the crowd with the cops nipping at their heels.]

Sara Marie York vs. Amber Allen

Squash match! It was supposed to be a match to show off Amber Allen but these two women didn't seem to click inside the ring and it showed. Amber Allen got the pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex.

Winner: Amber Allen

Match Rating: E-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JumboJackson_alt7.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/HappyElwood.jpg

Jumbo Jackson vs. Happy Elwood

Squash match #2! Not too much of a match. Jumbo dominated with a smiling Shane Sneer at ringside. Jumbo literally squashed Elwood with a Jumbo Avalanche to get the win.

Winner: Jumbo Jackson

Match Rating: E

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger_alt2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

Anger vs. Bruce The Giant

A pretty good brawl here though neither man sold the other very well. Anger showed some good strong moves against Bruce The Giant but Bruce was the dominant one here. He showed some better performance skills and then nailed Anger with the Giant Choke Slam!

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D

[The crowd stirred as Jay Chord and Joss Thompson moved through. They entered the ring with chairs and attacked Bruce The Giant, slamming into him time and time again with the chairs, bringing the big man down to the mat until the police rushed the ring and Jay and Joss took off again]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

USPW World Title Match

James Justice vs. Freddie Datsun

A World Title defense here as James took on Freddie Datsun. The match started with a handshake and slowly moved into a brawl as both men are better with their brawling skills. The crowd was really into this match and Justice looked good out there in the ring. He slammed Datsun into the ringpost outside the ring and used some slightly more hardcore moves though he was definitely worried about the condition of Sam Strong.

The American Everyman Freddie Datsun used this distraction to his advantage and got several near falls throughout the match. Datsun missed a clothesline and Justice hit him with the Liberation Slam out of nowhere and got the pinfall victory.

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: B-

[Following the match, Justice was attacked inside the ring by Jay Chord and Joss Thompson, who used the same chairs that they used earlier against Bruce The Giant! They hooked James Justice's legs into chairs and then grabbed two more chairs from ringside and headed to the top turnbuckles! This could injure James Justice permanently!

The crowd didn't know what to think when Peter Valentine came down to the ring alone! Valentine got there as Chord and Thompson were playing to the crowd and he leaped on top of James Justice, getting hit by both chairs in the process! Valentine was hurt badly and the continued attack was stopped by the presence of the police who finally arrested them both and hauled them off as the show came to a close.]

First time posting in here, but I love Sports Entertainment feds so I'm one of the guys that has been driving up the view count on this one :)

Anyways, love that you were able to get Chord, hopefully he can stick around for awhile. He's one of those guys that it doesn't matter if you push him hard right away because regardless, he's going to end up a jerk, haha. I'm interested in not only what Justice will do, but what Valentine will say after sticking his neck out there. If there is anybody I can picture just casually walking down to the ring outnumbered with an expressionless face and getting knocked out, it's Peter Valentine. That's probably not what you were going for, but it just got into my head and wouldn't leave.

It sort of leads toward confusion though you have to remember that Peter Valentine is best friends with Sam Strong...

While the two are friends, seeing Valentine sacking himself for Justice is still a bit odd. I could see him going on the warpath saving Justice just because he wants to beat the crap out of Chord and Thompson, but seeing him give up his body for the greater good was a bit shocking.

Good stuff.

[Things open within a hospital room where Sam Strong is lying on the bed with his nose in a bit of a cast, among other bodily injuries. Jack Avatar steps into the room, closing the door behind himself.]

Sam Strong

"Those two punks really did a number on me, Jack. They gotta learn not to be so stiff."

Jack Avatar

"They're both young, Sam, especially Jay. They'll learn on the fly here."

Sam Strong

"At least it makes things look good for when I make my return this week. I think they may have literally broken my nose. Now, what is with that look you're giving me?"

Jack Avatar

"I have some bad news to report, Sam. It seems that Richard contacted Wanda Fish and she's gonna be heading up to Rhode Island on a developmental contract with SWF. This week will be her last show for us."

Sam Strong

"At least we had the Jay and Joss thing planned. We'll just have to make sure we execute it this weke."

Jack Avatar

"Ernie Turner has been contacted by them too. It looks like he's gonna be heading to Rhode Island as well though he told me he hasn't made up his mind yet."

Sam Strong

"We build them, they take them, huh? Well, Ernie wasn't a major factor here just yet so it's not that big of a loss."

Jack Avatar

"Now, you're sure they'll let you out of here by the time for the show, right?"

Sam Strong

"I'll get out one way or another, Jack. I dropped the charges against Jay and Joss, by the way. I want them inside the ring. At Americana, I want James facing Joss and I'll be taking on Jay myself."

Jack Avatar

"You got it, boss. I'll see you at the show."

[Jack turned to leave, giving a nod to a nurse who came in after their conversation was finished.]

Always glad to have another reader and especially a poster. Jay Chord already left DoI early but I am hoping it doesn't become a trend. Thanks for your interest, though, and I hope you enjoy where I go with this storyline. Always feel free to comment on anything you like or dislike about the shows.

I can understand where you're coming from since Valentine hasn't always been known as the most noble of men but more will come to light toward the future.

That's a pretty interesting twist in the stories there with Justice and Valentine seemingly taking Sam's defense.

Thanks for the comment! Glad to see that people are interested in this story. As always feel free to comment anytime both positive and negative.

From USPWWrestling.com...

It's our first show within the month of June and we have some pretty good matches coming up for you! Sam Strong WILL be in the building this week but so will Jay Chord and Joss Thompson as we have learned that Sam Strong dropped the charges against them in favor of getting them inside the ring. We will also find out just who is going to face Nicky Champion for the USPW World Television Title at Americana. Plus T-Rex and we will also see James Justice defend the USPW World Title against Jim Force. What kind of condition will Justice be in tonight after the attack last week by Jay Chord and Joss Thompson? Also will Peter Valentine show up?

USPW World Television Title Semis: Shooter Sean Deeley w/ Jennifer Heat vs. Mr. Wrestling

Happy Elwood and Lobo Blanco vs. The Ring Generals w/ Adrian Garcia

Amber Allen and Cherry Bomb vs. Alicia Strong and April Appleseed

Ernie Turner vs. Giant Redwood w/ Adrian Garcia

T-Rex vs. Captain USA

USPW World Title Match: James Justice defends vs. Jim Force

So get those predictions in!

With school going on and my job and everything around me I find that I do not have the time to writeup as detailed as I have been within the past. So my next few cards are going to be a more abbreviated, less detailed version of what I would write. I hope you'll all continue to follow and understand about my r/t life.

I write NEO: From the bottom up, so it's pretty clear a couple of less detail shows it's going to stop me from reading. :D
