JTandSilentBob
If I am a touring promotion what are the advantages of offering a touring contract instead of an actual one? Am I able to get more lucrative superstars. For instance I'm regional and I couldn't sign AJ Styles with my regular contract because I'm "Not big enough" would I be able to sign him using the touring contract? Thanks ahead of time. alden
it is mostly about saving money i think. If you offer then a "regular" contract you have to pay them even if you are not on tour *if they have a down side* agreement. That can add up alot if you are a small company or not making much of a profit.
foolinc
No one can steal your workers when they are on touring contracts. That's huge for a Regional or Cult promotion if you are using talented gaijins (sp) or anyone for that matter.
beamernuts
If I'm a regular promotion and one of my wrestlers who is under a ppa contract is offered a touring contract by someone else, what does that mean for me? I'm currently the most prestigious promotion there is. Can he accept the contract? And if he does, what will that mean?
infinitywpi
He can accept the contract. If he likes you more than the other company, nothing will change for you (unless renegotiation comes up during the tour -- I think). If he likes the other company more than you? There's a couple days a week he'll be unavailable.
