I've autoclicked a bit more, and will eventually update, but as of late '05, Brandon Alger has 3 more wins (15-5) and is now the current UCFF Middleweight champion.

Then I should add on to my previous post with "Well, at least I'm also a champion."

11-8-1 (9-8 because I started with a 2-0-1 record)

My guy is a gatekeeper.

Well, um...at least you still have a winning record? :D

Romy Alvarez (4-0, employed by Grey Dog, Grey Dog Lightweight champ since Feb 1999, zero defenses...this is the strangest career to me; you had one fight and then just sat on your butt for 5+ years playing playstation 2, wondering if you'll ever get another fight. )

Damn, this sim is realistic. Well, at least I'm undefeated and the champ. Six year reign ain't no one going to beat that.

Good to see that I'm in the big leagues, where I belong. Incidentally, any word on how my random personality turned out? Will be fun for roleplaying purposes to know if I'm a total prick or a real nice guy. Either way, I'll end up beating you... it just might not be as personal. :p

Also good to see Alyssa doing fairly well, though hopefully she'll get more fights. I reckon she could go on to do big things.

I'll post your personality later today. You'll probably be asleep when I do though. :p

Well, I autoclicked to January 2012, and I'm more or less done autoclicking, as I really just want to play the game. :p:p But, here's an update on the...World of Mixed Martial Arts (see what I did there!)

Good to see that Alyssa and Derek maintain very strong records for their careers, though I'm saddened to see that neither of them added any titles to their careers. Also happy that Derek has such an excellently named friend in Osmosis Benn, I've always liked that guy. :)

After playing around with the game myself for a while I'm reconsidering whether I want Derek to be in the Lightweight title tournament or not... my heart says I should go for it and assume I'll win, but my brain says I might be better off waiting and avoiding taking a potential loss so early in my career. If it's a 4 man tourney I think I'll brave it, but if it's an 8 man I might sit on the sidelines....

Ooohhh, you just opened up a can of worms! I guess I should mention this though. In my original FAQ I shared my thoughts on booking, but they were based on WMMA 1, obviously. Having played with the full version now, one thing I noticed I tend to do fairly easily is for the promotion to rise faster than the fighters, in terms of name value and prestige. So I need to be mindful of protecting the stars that emerge from the pack as well as creating new stars.

Personally, i think this is obvious, but I'll mention it here. Requests for challenges, booking your guy / girl in a certain manner. I'll TRY MY BEST to accommodate everyone, BUT if it isn't happening and you notice it ain't happening, please don't give me grief over it. I just don't have the time (and patience) to deal with PM's and posts about "Why isn't this happening, blah, blah, blah.

That's not to say I'm not mindful of these things. In fact, the very opposite will be true. For example, let's say I notice your guy is on a 3 fight losing streak. I'll likely go out of my way to hire someone you SHOULD be able to beat to get you out of that rut and try to build some momentum. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'll try to take care of everyone as best I can, but by and large, throughout your career, you'll likely face fighters who a.) you should be able to beat, b.) a fair challenge, and c.) try to pull off an upset. I just can't think of any other way it COULD be.

Good to see that someone finally decided to give my guy some work and that he had a pretty successful run.

Your autoclick career is just so odd. You had your first fight February 1999. Your next fight was in June 2007. I guess you were paid to sit at home for a long time. :p

I'm a pretty nice guy then, seem to be balanced more to the likeable side than not. I can work with that. :)

With regards career development, do we have ay popularity to start with? If not, then I think I might go the route of beating up a couple of cans yet with my guy deciding he shouldn't try to steal all the glory and should EARN his way to the top. Being unbeaten or generally on a winning streak will gain you popularity fastest... so in the long run I should end up being more valuable that way while everyone jumps on the chance to be champion.

Although if you'd rather I'm in the tournament, I'd still be happy doing that. Might just make it tougher in the long run for me to be your MVP.

It's funny, to me, that I was, officially, the last middleweight champion of two different companies. But heck, four title reigns, including one in the #1 promotion in the world? I'll take that. Hopefully, I'll be as successful (or even more so. Yeah, I'm greedy) in the actual dynasty.

About that ALPHA-1 reign, though...did I actually lose the title, or did GAMMA sign me, making me drop the title in the process? Curiosity killed the cat, ya know.

You didn't lose the title. As far as I can tell, GAMMA "stole you" from ALPHA-1, essentially vacating the title in August. Osmosis Benn won it in November.

Haha, as if my ego needed any more boosting. The top two companies are fighting over Alger to the point that one stole Alger away from the other, while he was the champion of that other company.

It sure beats fighting in Africa. :p

I assume you're asking for something like this:

J. D. Maddox

  • Grey Dog - 8 wins (5 (T)KOs, 1 submission, 2 decisions), 9 losses (3 (T)KOs, 5 submissions, 1 decision)
  • OMEGA - 10 wins (7 (T)KOs, 3 Submissions), 2 Losses (1 knock out, 1 submission)
  • SIGMA - 4 wins (2 (T)Kos, 2 submissions), 2 Losses (2 submission)

Please don't ask me for specifics (who you faced, match rating, etc.). Just putting together THIS list took a longer than I would have liked.
