Last night's House Show made $2,695 for the company, a decent number which turned a profit.

 

Unfortunately last night's episode of TNA Impact on Bravo 2 drew a low 0.00 rating.

 

TNA Impact on FOX8 last night also unfortunately drew a very low 0.00 rating.

 

Cristiano Ronaldo has rejected TNA's recent request for negotiations as he is happy playing football.

 

Actor and Comedian Seth Green has also rejected TNA's request for negotiations.

This match is far too long given who is involved. Carlito eventually gets the hard-fought victory.

Carlito Colon beat Andromeda in 18:04 by pinfall.

TNA Legends Championship: Scott Steiner © vs Abyss vs Amazing Red

Mike Tenay notes during this contest that the winner will go onto Turning Point to defend the title in a four-way match with AJ Styles, Kevin Nash and Booker T. Steiner gets the quick victory here to retain the title.

Scott Steiner beat Abyss and Amazing Red in 2:32.

AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston versus The Miz and Tae Yang

Tae Yang is still a little green in the ring, but that should go away by the time The Miz and Tae Yang face Brother Devon and Jeff Jarrett at Turning Point. Miz and Yang get the quick win here when The Miz pins Kingston.

Mizfits beat AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston in 3:22.

TNA X Division Title: David Villa © vs Alex Shelley vs Chris Sabin

Mike Tenay announces during this match that the winner will go onto defend the title at Turning Point against former Champion Homicide. Villa gets the quick win in this one to hold onto the title.

David Villa beat Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley in 3:03.

Charlie Hunnam comes to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance. He is soon interrupted by Andromeda. Andromeda challenges Hunnam to a match at Turning Point, and Hunnam nods, accepting the challenge. Before Hunnam can say anything Andromeda grabs a chair from ringside and smacks him in the back with it. Hunnam falls to the mat as Andromeda smiles as the fans boo. Andromeda heads to the back leaving Hunnam hurt in the ring.

Angelina Love makes her way into the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance. She says the winner of tonight's Knockouts title match will face her at Turning Point. Love is soon interrupted by Michelle McCool. McCool announces that she will also be in the title match at Turning Point. McCool then slaps Angelina Love, and kicks her in the gut. Michelle leaves the ring to a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance as Angelina Love squirms on the mat.

Knockouts Title: Kong© vs Jackie vs Bolt vs Mickie vs Brie vs Nicole

Mike Tenay announces that the Knockouts title match at at Turning Point now includes Angelina Love, Michelle McCool and Lisa Marie Varon, and the winner of this match will defend the title against those three individuals. Mickie pins Nicole Bella in this one to win the title for the second time.

O.D.B. and Taylor Wilde make their way to the ring. O.D.B. announces that at Turning Point they will both team with the Bella Twins to take on Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, Ayako Hamada and Jacqueline Moore. Before they can say anything else they are attacked by Ayako Hamada. The fans in attendance boo as Hamada pummels both O.D.B. and Widle with right hands before the Bella Twins return to the ring and chase Ayako Hamada to the back.

Bianca Beauchamp versus Jennifer Aniston

Bianca Beauchamp is still a little green and rusty in the ring, which leads to Aniston getting the quick victory here.

Jennifer Aniston defeated Bianca Beauchamp in 1:14 by pinfall.

Monster's Ball Match: Bobby Lashley versus Booker T

Bobby Lashley and Booker T just don't click at all, and it shows in their performances. Booker gets the quick victory in this one.

Booker T beat Bobby Lashley in 2:49 by pinfall, illegally using the ropes.

The Major Brothers come to the ring. Brian takes a microphone and says that they challenge any tag team to a match at Turning Point. Brian then throws the microphone to the floor as the fans boo the pair. The fans in attendance continue to boo the Major Brothers as they leave the ring together.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring. He says that he will retain his title in tonight's Main Event. He is soon interrupted by Kurt Angle. Angle comes to the ring and says that he will win the title again. Before long, Matt Morgan makes his way to the entrance-way. Morgan says that it won't be CM Punk, Dreamer, Magnus, or even Lesnar or Angle who will leave with the World title tonight, it would be him. Morgan then heads to the back as Lesnar and Angle look perplexed in the ring, shocked at the bravery of Morgan to confront the pair.

Rating: C+

 

Brother Devon and Jeff Jarrett versus Beer Money, Inc.

Brother Devon seems a little off his game tonight but one-half of the Tag Team Champions and his partner Jeff Jarrett are still able to get the victory here after Devon pins Robert Roode.

Black and White beat Beer Money, Inc. in 6:09.

Brutus Magnus makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand. Magnus is heavily booed by the fans in attendance as he promises that he will win the World title in tonight's Main Event, before leaving the ring to even more boos.

Rating: E+

 

Carlito Colon comes to the ring with a microphone and says that he and his Brother Eddie will accept the Major Brothers challenge for a Tag Team match at Turning Point, before leaving the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance.

Charlie Hass comes to the ring and calls out Chris Harris. Harris soon joins Hass in the ring and Charlie Hass challenges Chris Harris to a match at Turning Point. Harris accepts the challenge and leaves the ring.

Chavo Guerrero comes to the ring and calls out Chris Jericho. Jericho soon joins Chavo in the ring and asks him what he wants. Chavo challenges Jericho to a match at Turning Point, to which Jericho declines. Jericho announces that he will be challenging the winner of tonight's Main Event for the World title at Turning Point. Jericho then leaves the ring. Chavo is about to leave aswell before Dr. Stevie makes his way to the entrance-way. Stevie says that he will face Chavo at Turning Point, before heading to the back.

Cody Deaner and Daniels make their way to the ring. Daniels takes a microphone to a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance and says that he is the Fallen Angel, and he and Deaner deserve respect. They dare anybody to challenge them to a match at Turning Point, before shaking hands and leaving the ring together to more boos.

Mike Tenay announces during this match that at Turning Point Cody will face Jay Lethal in singles action. Rhodes pins Lethal here to give his team the victory.

Cute Kip versus Doug Williams

Cute Kip is really off his game tonight but is still able to get the victory here in a short match.

Dylan Postl makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance. Before he can say anything he is attacked from behind by Harry Smith. Smith takes a microphone from ringside and says that he will take on Postl in a singles match at Turning Point. Smith then kicks Postl in the back once more before leaving the ring to more boos.

Los Colons make their way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance, and Carlito takes a microphone from ringside. He says that they will definately beat the Major Brothers at Turning Point. The pair then leave the ring together.

Typhoon is still a little rusty, which leads to Eric Young getting the quick win in this one.

Homicide seems off his game tonight which leads to Suicide getting the

quick victory in this match.

Mike Tenay notes that Nash will be in the Legends title match at Turning Point as he gets the quick victory in this bout.

Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring with a microphone. However before he can say anything he is attacked from behind by Jimmy Rave. Rave hits Sydal with a Superkick before telling him that the two will wrestle at Turning Point, and that Rave will finish him off. Rave then throws Sydal out of the ring to a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance.

Rhino versus John Hennigan

Rhino and Hennigan have pretty good chemistry, and it lifts this match. Rhino gets the quick win in this one.

KIYOSHI and Rob Terry have pretty good chemistry, and it lifts this match. Terry gets the quick victory here.

Lisa Marie Varon makes her way to the ring, only to be attacked from behind by Madison Rayne. Rayne says it's unfair that Varon is in the title match at Turning Point but she isn't. She then kicks Varon in the gut before leaving the ring to a chorus of boos.

Matt Hardy comes to the ring and says he wants a match at Turning Point. He is soon interrupted by Rocco. Rocco says that he should take on his former partner, Sal. Rocco joins Hardy in the ring and the two shake hands. Before they can say anything else Sal himself makes his way to the entrance-way. Sal says he can speak for himself, and the match is on. Sal then heads to the back to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance.

Shark Boy versus Samoa Joe

Mike Tenay announces during this contest that at Turning Point Joe will team with Jethro Holliday to take on Shane Sewell and Shark Boy. Joe gets the quick victory in this one.

Samoa Joe beat Shark Boy in 1:57 by pinfall with a Muscle Buster.

Match Rating: D

 

No Limit make their way to the ring but are soon interrupted by Beautiful People member Velvet Sky, to a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance. Sky says that she sees potential in No Limit and has arranged for them to take on Abyss and Amazing Red at Turning Point. Sky kisses both Tetsuya Naito and Yujiro on the cheek before leaving the ring. No Limit seem very happy as they shake hands and leave the ring together.

World Title: Lesnar© vs Punk vs Dreamer vs Morgan vs Kurt vs Brutus

Don West announces during this contest that Kofi Kingston has been added to the title match at Turning Point and that the winner of this bout will defend the World title at Turning Point against Kofi, Paul Wight and Chris Jericho in a four-way match. Angle pins Dreamer in this one to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

As Kurt Angle celebrates with his title Kofi Kingston and AJ Styles come out to shake Angle's hand. Angle refuses to shake their hands and AJ seems disappointed due to him trying to show sportsmanship. Paul Wight and the Legends Champion Scott Steiner then rush to the ring and Wight hits Kingston with a Chokeslam and Steiner hits AJ Styles with a huge Belly-To-Belly Suplex. Styles and Kingston are down in the ring as Paul Wight, Legends Champion Scott Steiner and new World Champion Kurt Angle close the show with their hands in the air celebrating inside the ring.

Rating: E+

 

Final Rating: D+

 

Andromeda under-performed in his opening contest but should do better against actor Charlie Hunnam at Turning Point.

 

Brutus Magnus performed well in his first World title match but will now take a backseat as more popular performers will compete for the title.

 

I think this show might have actually hurt our popularity overall but Turning Point looks set to be a great show with a huge main event.

At Turning Point Legends Champion Scott Steiner will defend his title against Kevin Nash, Booker T and AJ Styles. First he will team with the tag team of Deaner and Daniels to take on Styles and two veterans in Punk and Dreamer.

Andromeda is really off his game tonight which leads to Chris Harris getting the hard-fought victory.

Chris Harris defeated Andromeda in 18:04 by pinfall with a Spear.

Abyss versus Alex Shelley

Mike Tenay notes during this contest that at Turning Point Abyss will team with Amazing Red to take on No Limit. Shelley however gets the quick victory in this one.

Alex Shelley beat Abyss in 3:22 by pinfall with a Shellshock.

Scott Steiner, Deaner & Daniels vs AJ Styles, Punk & Tommy Dreamer

Sharmell accompanies fellow Main Event Mafia member and Legends Champion Scott Steiner to ringside for this match. Steiner's team are unsuccessful however as Styles pins Daniels to give his team the win.

Amazing Red comes to the ring but before he can say anything is attacked by Brutus Magnus. Magnus takes a microphone and says it's a disgrace that Red will be wrestling at Turning Point but Magnus won't, before throwing the microphone to the mat and leaving the ring.

Charlie Hunnam comes to the ring but before long is attacked from behind by his Turning Point opponent, Andromeda. Andromeda smacks Hunnam in the back with a Steel Chair before leaving the ring.

Rating: E+

 

Angelina Love comes to the ring with a microphone. She says that she will win the Knockouts title at Turning Point. Before Love can say anything else however she is attacked from behind and knocked to the mat by Michelle McCool. McCool picks up the microphone and says that she will be the one leaving Turning Point with the Knockouts title before leaving the ring.

Lisa Marie Varon and Sojourner Bolt make their way to the ring. Before they can say anything however Bianca Beauchamp rushes to the ring and attacks them both. Beauchamp knocks them to the mat with dropkicks before eventually being chased from the ring by Awesome Kong and Jennifer Aniston. Kong takes a microphone from ringside and says that if Beauchamp wants a fight she can have one in a singles match with her at Turning Point. Beauchamp looks terrified in the ring as Kong helps the other three Knockouts to the back.

Rating: D-

 

Ayako Hamada versus Taylor Wilde

Mike Tenay notes that these two Knockouts will be on opposing sides at Turning Point when Hamada teams with the Beautiful People and Jacqueline Moore to take on Taylor Wilde, O.D.B. and the Bella Twins. Taylor gets the quick win in this one building momentum for her team heading into Turning Point.

Booker T and Kevin Nash versus Bobby Lashley and Doug Williams

Main Event Mafia members Booker T and Kevin Nash don't work that well as a team in this match but are still able to get the quick win as Booker pins Williams for the victory.

Booker T and Kevin Nash beat Bobby Lashley and Doug Williams in 2:52.

Both Brett and Brian, the Major Brothers make their way to the ring with a microphone. The pair joke with eachother as they walk down the rampway before sliding into the ring. Brian takes a microphone and says that they will beat the Colons at Turning Point. He then throws the microphone to the mat and the two leave the ring together.

The Beautiful People versus The Bella Twins

Madison Rayne is really off her game tonight which leads to Brianna Bella pinning her to get the victory for her and her Sister.

The Bella Twins beat The Beautiful People in 2:22.

Match Rating: D-

 

Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring. He says he needs an opponent at Turning Point. Eric Young soon comes to the entrance-way and says that he'll face Lesnar. Lesnar laughs off Young's challenge and says he needs some real competition. Eric Young seems sad and heads to the back. Matt Morgan's music hits and he walks down the ramp and into the ring. Morgan and Lesnar have a fierce stare-down, nose to nose with neither wanting to back down. Matt Morgan says that if he wants an opponent at Turning Point, he can face the Blueprint Matt Morgan. Lesnar says he accepts before leaving the ring.

Rating: C

 

Cute Kip comes to the ring with a microphone. Kip says that he beat Doug Williams at Bound for Glory yet it was Williams who got to team with Bobby Lashley earlier tonight against Booker T and Kevin Nash. Cute Kip is soon joined in the ring by Cody Rhodes. Rhodes says that he too was victorious at Bound for Glory, and that he'll take on one of the men he beat in a singles match at Turning Point, Jay Lethal. Rhodes says that he likes Kip's style and respects him as he is a veteran. Cute Kip shakes hands with Rhodes and wishes him luck in his match with Lethal at Turning Point before the pair leave the ring together.

Rating: C+

 

Brother Devon versus Tae Yang

Tae Yang is still a little green and rusty in the ring, but that should go away by the time he and The Miz face Brother Devon and Jeff Jarrett in tag team action at Turning Point. Devon gets the quick win in this one building momentum for his team heading into Turning Point.

Brother Devon beat Tae Yang in 1:09 by pinfall with a Saving Grace.

Match Rating: D+

 

Kofi Kingston comes to the ring with a microphone. He says that he will win the World title at Turning Point. He is soon interrupted by Chris Jericho who stands at the entrance-way with a microphone. Jericho says that Kingston can use as many fancy kicks as he wants but he will never know anything about World Championships. Jericho says that he's been to the top of the mountain before and he'll go there again when he wins the World Heavyweight Championship at Turning Point. Jericho then heads to the back leaving Kingston seemingly irritated in the ring.

Rating: C+

 

Carlito Colon comes to the ring with a microphone. He says that he and his Brother Eddie will beat the Major Brothers at Turning Point, before dropping the microphone to the floor and leaving the ring.

Charlie Hass versus Consequences Creed

Despite trying to get the fans involved, the sell-out crowd in attendance are not very interested in Consequences Creed. Hass gets the quick win in this one.

Charlie Haas beat Consequences Creed in 1:18 by pinfall with.

Match Rating: D+

 

Matt Hardy comes to the ring and says his opponent at Turning Point, Sal, is fat and washed up. Hardy is soon interrupted by Typhoon, who joins Hardy in the ring. Typhoon says that he knows not to be offended because he and Hardy are both in much better shape than Sal will ever be. Sal soon comes to the entrance-way and says that the two can poke fun at him all they want but he will beat Hardy at Turning Point. Sal then heads to the back leaving Hardy and Typhoon embarrassed in the ring.

Kofi Kingston and his tag team partner at last Sunday's Turning Point, AJ Styles come to the ring. Before they can say anything the World Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle, the Legends Champion Scott Steiner and the huge Paul Wight rush to the ring. Steiner hits AJ over the head with a Steel Pipe as Wight Chokeslams Kingston. The World Champion Kurt Angle then puts Kingston in the Ankle Lock before eventually letting go. Angle takes a microphone and says that Kofi Kingston has no chance of beating him in tonight's Main Event, and no chance of winning the World title at Turning Point, before shaking hands with both Steiner and Wight and the three leaving the ring together.

Rating: B-

 

Chavo Guerrero Jr and Harry Smith versus Dr. Stevie and Dylan Postl

Mike Tenay notes during this match that this is a Turning Point preview as Chavo will be facing Stevie whilst Harry Smith will take on Dylan Postl. Stevie pins Harry Smith to give his team the victory in this one.

Match Rating: D-

 

Hurricane comes to the ring with a microphone in hand. He says that he is proud to introduce his friend and Number One Contender to the X Division Championship at Turning Point, Homicide. Homicide soon joins Hurricane in the ring and the pair shake hands. Before Homicide can say anything, however, X Division Champion David Villa comes to the entrance-way. He says that Homicide and Hurricane are both terrible, and will never hold Championship gold again in their careers. He says he has nearly held the belt for two months, and plans to continue holding the title until the end of the year. David Villa then heads to the back leaving Hurricane and Homicide visibly upset in the ring. Hurricane consoles his friend before the two shake hands and leaving the ring together.

Los Colons versus James Gibson and Kid Kash

James Gibson seems off his game tonight which leads to the Colons getting the win here after Carlito pins Kid Kash.

The Colons beat Bulldogs in 1:38 when Carlito Colon defeated Kid Kash.

Beer Money, Inc. versus Jack Korpela and Ray Gordy

Jack Korpela is still green and inexperienced inside the ring which leads to Storm pinning Korpela to give his team the win here.

Jay Lethal and Jesse Neal versus Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Shaker

Mike Tenay notes during this contest that Lethal will be facing Cody Rhodes in singles competition at Turning Point. Rhodes pins Neal here in a quick match to give his team the win.

Jim Cornette joins Tenay and West on commentary again for this match and announces that the Major Brothers against Los Colons at Turning Point will also be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Brett Major gets the cheap win here after interference from his Brother Brian.

Donald Trump has rejected TNA's recent request for negotiations as he feels that if he does return to the industry it will be appearing for the WWE.

 

Shawn Michaels has left WWE due to contract expiry. He had recently been main eventing on the RAW brand.

 

TNA has signed a former World Champion and Main Eventer, who will debut for the company at next week's Impact tapings.

 

TNA has also signed a great Womens wrestler, Maria Kanellis, who will debut at next week's Impact tapings.

 

Finally, Todd Grisham completed his move to TNA today. He will act as a Personality.

Thursday, Week 1, November, 2009

 

Last Night's TNA House Show made $1,785 for the company, a solid number considering the small arena it was being held in.

 

Rap Star Marshall "Eminem" Mathers has rejected TNA's request for negotiations as he has no interest in appearing for them.

 

Actress Melanie Lynskey has signed a deal with TNA and will be a part of their Women's Division.

 

Josh Matthews today also completed his signing with TNA and will be used as a Personality.

The following matches are scheduled to take place at tonight's Impact tapings:

 

Abyss and Amazing Red versus The Motor City Machine Guns

At Turning Point Abyss and Red will team to face No Limit but first they face the challenge of the Guns on Impact.

 

Andromeda and Austin Aries versus Charlie Hunnam and Bobby Lashley

Andromeda faces Hunnam in singles action at Turning Point but first both men have chosen partners and will face off in tag team action.

 

Angelina Love versus Michelle McCool

Both of these Knockouts, along with Lisa Marie Varon, will challenge for Mickie James' Knockouts title at Turning Point, and on Impact Love will face McCool in one-on-one action.

 

Madison Rayne and Ayako Hamada vs The Bella Twins

At Turning Point Hamada will team with the Beautiful People and Jacqueline Moore to face the Bella Twins, O.D.B. and Taylor Wilde. This tag team action will act as a preview and see if Hamada can work with one-half of the Beautiful People, Madison Rayne.

Angela Fong and Awsome Kong have pretty good chemistry, and it lifts this match. Kong gets the hard-fought victory here in Fong's TNA debut.

Brother Devon comes to the ring and calls out the team of The Miz and Tae Yang. Miz and Tae Yang come to the entrance-way only for Devon to tell them that he and Jarrett will take them to school at Turning Point. Miz and Yang apparently have heard enough and head to the back.

Mickie James comes to ringside for this match to scout two of her opponents at Turning Point when she defends her Knockouts title in a four-way match. McCool gets the quick win in this one.

Sojourner Bolt and Jennifer Aniston make their way into the ring but before they can say anything they are attacked by Bianca Beauchamp. Ayako Hamada and Madison Rayne versus The Bella Twins

Cute Kip accompanies fellow Beautiful People member Madison Rayne to ringside for this match but apparently that's not enough help for her and Hamada as Brianna pins Madison Rayne to give her team the win, and momentum heading into the eight-Knockout tag team match at Turning Point.

The Bella Twins beat Ayako Hamada and Madison Rayne in 2:40.

Booker T versus Eric Young

Jim Cornette joins Tenay and West on commentary for this bout and announces that the Legends title match at Turning Point with Steiner defeding against AJ Styles, Booker T and Kevin Nash will now be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Booker gets the quick win here.

Mike Tenay notes that Lesnar will take on Matt Morgan Sunday at Turning Point as Lesnar pins Hurricane to give his team the win in this match.

John Hennigan comes to the ring and takes a microphone from ringside, but before he can say anything Chavo Guerrero comes to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own. He tells Hennigan that whatever he was going to say doesn't matter. He says that all that matters is Turning Point this Sunday when he beats Dr. Stevie. Chavo then heads to the back leaving Hennigan irritated in the ring.

Kofi Kingston comes to the ring and says that he will win the World title this Sunday at Turning Point. He is soon interrupted by Chris Jericho who comes to the entrance-way with a microphone. He tells Kingston that it will be Jericho who wins the World title at Turning Point before heading to the back, leaving Kingston alone and embarrassed in the ring.

Rating: C+

 

Jesse Neal comes to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance. They clearly do not have a strong opinion on Neal either way. He is soon interrupted by Maryse Ouelett, making her TNA debut. Maryse tells Neal that he is ugly, his hair looks ridiculous and that he has no reason to be in a TNA ring, let alone on television. Jesse leaves the ring, visibly saddened by what Maryse said. The fans don't really mind either way as they are not particuarly invested in Neal's character. Maryse then heads to the back.

Rating: D+

 

Matt Hardy and Cody Rhodes versus Sal and Jay Lethal

Mike Tenay notes that this is a Turning Point preview of sorts as Matt Hardy will be facing Sal on Sunday and Jay Lethal will take on Cody Rhodes in singles action. Hardy and Rhodes get the quick victory here after Hardy pins Sal.

Matt Sydal comes to the ring with a microphone. He says his opponent at Turning Point, Jimmy Rave, is not here tonight as he is wrestling in Japan. Sydal says he would like to bring out two of his idols, CM Punk and Tommy Dreamer. Punk and Dreamer join Sydal in the ring and Sydal passes Punk the microphone. CM Punk announces that he and Dreamer have decided to accept Daniels and Deaner's open challenge to a tag team match at Turning Point. CM Punk then says that after they're done with Deaner and Daniels they can return to the World title picture. Sydal wishes the pair luck and the three shake hands before leaving the ring together.

O.D.B. versus Velvet Sky

Jim Cornette returns to the commentary table alongside Tenay and West for this bout and announces that the Knockouts tag team match at Turning Point with O.D.B. teaming with Taylor and the Bellas versus the Beautiful People, Ayako Hamada and Jacqueline Moore will now be a Falls Count Anywhere match. O.D.B. gets the quick victory here building momentum for her team heading into Turning Point.

AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston come to the ring. Before they can say anything though they are attacked by the World Champion Kurt Angle, Paul Wight and the Legends Champion Scott Steiner. Wight Chokeslams Kingston whilst Steiner hits Styles with a Belly-To-Belly suplex. Angle then puts Kingston in the Ankle Lock before eventually releasing the hold and celebrating in the ring with Wight and Steiner. The trio then shake hands and leave the ring together.

Deaner and Daniels versus Jethro Holliday and Samoa Joe

Sharmell accompanies Deaner and Daniels to the ring, scouting the pair for a possible role within the Main Event Mafia. They are on the losing side of this one however as Joe pins Deaner to give his team the victory.

Jethro Holliday and Samoa Joe beat Deaner and Daniels in 2:01.

Match Rating: D-

 

Consequences Creed comes to the ring and calls out KIYOSHI. KIYOSHI soon joins Creed in the ring only for Creed to attempt to attack KIYOSHI with a big left hand. KIYOSHI blocks this however and punches Creed himself, knocking him to the mat below. As KIYOSHI is about to hit a Splash on Creed the Bulldogs of James Gibson and Kid Kash rush to the ring and hit KIYOSHI with a Double-DDT. They then help Creed to his feet and shake his hand as the fans in attendance boo. The trio shake hands before leaving the ring together.

The X Division Champion David Villa is really off his game tonight, which leads to Number One Contender Homicide pinning him to give his team the victory.

Ray Gordy comes to the ring and calls out Taylor Wilde. Widle comes to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance. Wilde says that she has been training for the Knockouts tag team match at Turning Point where she'll team with O.D.B. and the Bellas to take on the Beautiful People, Ayako Hamada and Jacqueline Moore. Before the pair can continue their exchange they are interrupted by Doug Williams. Williams has a microphone and says that he has rejoined the British Invasion and they will soon dominate, and it's disguting that talentless skinny Women like Taylor Wilde are wrestling at Turning Point wheras the British Invasion are off of the card. Williams then heads to the back to a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance whilst Gordy tries to console a visibly upset Taylor Wilde. Gordy hugs Taylor and the pair eventually leave the ring together.

Mike Tenay notes that Styles will be in the four-way for Scott Steiner's Legends title at Turning Point as he gets the quick win in this match.

Bashir takes a microphone and says that the four men want to be known as the World Elite. He says that they offer their services to Kurt Angle and the Main Event Mafia. Angle thanks the World Elite before shaking their hands again. The World Elite seem happy as they leave the ring together.

This is a good but short match which sees World Champion Kurt Angle getting the victory.

Tommy Dreamer then also comes to the ring and shakes hands with CM Punk, before announcing that he will also be in the title match at Final Resolution, and that it will now be a four-way match with Kurt Angle defending against CM Punk, Tommy Dreamer and Brock Lesnar. CM Punk and Tommy Dreamer then leave the ring together and head to the back. Lesnar remains in the ring and says he doesn't care how many people are in the title match, it will be him who becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar then drops the microphone to the mat and leaves the ring and heads to the back.

Mike Tenay notes during this contest that James Storm will take on Jesse Neal in singles action at Final Resolution. Storm pins KIYOSHI quickly in this match to give his team the win.

Robert Roode comes to the ring following the conclusion of the match to congratulate his regular tag team partner James Storm. Robert Roode then calls out Rob Terry. The British Invasion's muscle soon joins Roode in the ring and Roode asks him to help Beer Money in their quest to regain the Tag Team titles once Brother Ray returns from injury. Terry says nothing but shakes Roode's hand before the two leave the ring together.

Sheik Abdul Bashir & Rocco versus Kofi Kingston and Ray Gordy

Rocco seems to have a new fresh outlook on his career since breaking up with Sal and he seems to look forward to his adventure of teaming with Bashir, with the two of them taking on Los Colons at Final Resolution. Bashir and Rocco lose this match however after Kingston pins Rocco.

Kofi Kingston and Ray Gordy beat Rocco and Sheik Abdul Bashir in 3:06.

Sal comes to the ring and says he wants an opponent he can beat, after losing to Matt Hardy at Turning Point. He is soon joined in the ring by Samoa Joe. Joe says he'll be up for the challenge of facing Sal. Before Sal can respond though, Shark Boy joins the pair in the ring. Shark Boy says that he's the one that deserves to face Sal. Sal says that Joe and Shark Boy can face off at Final Resolution and the winner will get a future match with Sal. Sal then leaves the ring and Joe and Shark Boy have a stare-down, before Shark Boy eventually leaves the ring aswell.

Mike Tenay announces during this match that at Final Resolution Dylan Postl will take on the huge Typhoon. Postl gets the quick win here building momentum heading into Final Resolution.

Jay Lethal comes to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance. Before he can say anything though he is attacked by his former partner Consequences Creed. Creed hits Lethal with a huge DDT before leaving the ring and heading to the back. The fans do not sympathize that much with Lethal as he has grown a little stale. Lethal seems hurt in the ring and is unable to get up.

AJ Styles versus Cute Kip

Cute Kip seems off his game tonight but is still able to get the quick but cheap win here.

Cute Kip beat AJ Styles in 2:34 by pinfall while using the ropes.

Former X Division Champion David Villa comes to the ring with Harry Smith. Smith takes a microphone and says that the pair will dominate TNA. The two shake hands before leaving the ring together.

CM Punk and Tommy Dreamer return to the ring. CM Punk takes the microphone to a huge pop from the fans in attendance and says that he guarantees, confidently, that either he or Tommy Dreamer will leave Final Resolution with the World Heavyweight Champipnship. Dr. Stevie then comes to the entrance-way and tells the pair that they should never have come to TNA, and it's unfair how they've taken his spot. Dr. Stevie then heads to the back to boos from the fans as Dreamer and Punk seem upset. Punk then shakes Dreamer's hand and the pair leave the ring together.

Amazing Red versus James Gibson

Amazing Red is really off his game tonight which leads to Gibson getting the quick victory in this one.

James Gibson beat Amazing Red in 2:29 by submission.

TNA Legends Champion Kevin Nash comes to the ring and calls out his two challengers at Final Resolution. Sure enough, Andromeda comes to the ring, followed by Jethro Holliday. Suddenly Kevin Nash hits Jethro Holliday with a big boot. Andromeda then goes to the top rope and hits a Big Splash on Jethro Holliday. Andromeda and Nash then shake hands before leaving the ring together and heading to the back, with Holliday down and hurt alone in the ring.

Kurt Angle and CM Punk don't click at all, and it unfortunately shows in their performances. World Champion Angle gets the win in this one building momentum heading into his title defense at Final Resolution.

Jimmy Rave received a Shattered Elbow injury in Japan last night wrestling for NJPW, and will miss over eleven months of action because of it.

 

Finlay has left WWE due to contract expiry. He had previously been main eventing on the SmackDown! brand.
