CM Punk versus Andromeda

This match is far too long given who is involved but Punk is still able to get the hard-fought victory here.

CM Punk beat Andromeda in 17:36 by submission

Match Rating: D-

 

Amazing Red and Abyss come to the ring. Red takes a microphone and says that the two have been underperforming recently, and both want to win their singles matches tonight to get back on track. The pair then shake hands before leaving the ring together.

Rating: E

 

The Motor City Machune Guns versus AJ Styles and Matt Morgan

Mike Tenay notes during this match that both of these teams will be wrestling different tag team bouts at Final Resolution as the Guns face Kofi Kingston and Ray Gordy whilst AJ Styles and Matt Morgan take on the Main Event Mafia of Booker T and Scott Steiner. Styles and Morgan get the quick win here after Styles pins Sabin.

AJ Styles and Matt Morgan beat The Motor City Machineguns in 1:37.

Jethro Holliday comes to the ring and says he will win the Legends title at Final Resolution in the three-way match with Nash and Andromeda. However before Holliday can say anything else he is soon attacked from behind by Andromeda. Andromeda hits Holliday in the back with a steel chair before leaving the ring.

Michelle McCool & Angela Fong versus Angelina Love & Jennifer Aniston

Knockouts Champion Mickie James comes to ringside for this match to scout possible challengers for her title if she successfully defends it in the six-way match at Final Resolution. Love and Aniston get the quick victory here after Aniston pins Angela Fong.

Match Rating: E

 

Bobby Lashley comes to the ring and says after Final Resolution, he wants the next World title shot. Before Lashley can say anything else Austin Aries comes to the entrance-way with a microphone. Aries says he might be new here, but he has the next title match after Final Resolution. Aries then heads to the back leaving Lashley frustrated in the ring.

Ayako Hamada versus Awesome Kong

Mike Tenay notes during this bout that Ayako Hamada will be a part of the six-way Knockouts title match at Final Resolution, however it's former Champion Awesome Kong that gets the quick win in this one.

Awesome Kong beat Ayako Hamada in 1:59 by pinfall.

Match Rating: E+

 

Melanie Lynskey comes to the ring to judge a bikini contest between Maria Kanellis and Bianca Beauchamp. Lynskey will team with Maria and Lisa Marie Varon at Final Resolution as they take on Beauchamp, Jackie Moore and Sharmell. Lynskey gives the win to her partner Maria Kanellis and they hug and leave the ring together, leaving Beauchamp looking irritated.

Rating: D+

 

Booker T and Scott Steiner versus Los Colons

Mike Tenay notes that both of these teams will be in Tag Team action at Final Resolution as Booker and Steiner take on Morgan and Styles whilst Los Colons will face the newly formed team of Rocco and Sheik Abdul Bashir. The Mafia get the quick win in this one after Booker pins Eddie Colon.

Main Event Mafia beat The Colons in 1:48

The Major Brothers come to the ring and Brian takes a microphone from ringside. He says that the Majors will beat both Devon & Jarrett and the British Invasion in the three-way tag team match at Final Resolution. He then drops the microphone to the mat and the pair shake hands before leaving the ring together.

Maryse Ouellet versus Brianna Bella

Brianna Bella and Maryse just don't click at all, and unfortunately it shows in their performances. Maryse gets the quick win in this one.

Maryse Ouellet beat Brianna Bella in 0:32 by pinfall with a French TKO.

Match Rating: E-

 

Brock Lesnar comes to the ring and says that he will win the World title in the five-way match at Final Resolution. Lesnar are soon interrupted by both CM Punk and Tommy Dreamer, who come to the ring. Punk says that he won his match earlier, and has all the momentum heading into the title bout. Dreamer then takes the microphone from Punk and says to never forget about the heart of Tommy Dreamer. Lesnar has clearly heard enough and soon leaves the ring, before Punk and Dreamer shake hands and do the same, after both stating their case for why they're favourites in the title match.

Rating: C+

 

Brother Devon and Jeff Jarrett versus The British Invasion

Brother Devon is really off his game tonight, but still manages to get the win for his team here in a short match after pinning Doug Williams.

Black and White beat The British Invasion in 2:26.

Match Rating: D

 

Charlie Hass comes to the ring and says he's faced some of the best TNA has to offer, and so far he's not impressed. He says none of the TNA Originals can beat him. Eric Young soon comes to the ring and snatches the microphone from Hass. Young says that he can face him any time. Hass leaves the ring, seemingly unwilling to want to fight Young.

Rating: D+

 

Homicide and Hurricane versus Charlie Hunnam and Chavo Guerrero Jr

Charlie Hunnam is still very green and inexperienced in the ring, but that should go away by the time he challenges Homicide for the X Division title at Final Resolution. Hunnam and Guerrero get the quick win here after Chavo pins the Champion Homicide.

Chris Harris comes to the ring with his partner at Final Resolution against Jericho and Paul Wight, Jack Korpela. Harris takes a microphone from ringside and says that Korpela has to up his game if they have any chance of beating Jericho and Wight. Harris then shakes Korpela's hand and the two leave the ring together.

Chris Jericho and Paul Wight versus Jeff Hardy and Matt Sydal

Mike Tenay announces during this bout that Jeff Hardy has been added into the World title match at Final Resolution which will now be a six-way match. Jericho and Wight however get the quick win here after Jericho pins Sydal.

Chris Jericho and Paul Wight beat Jeff Hardy and Matt Sydal in 2:21.

Match Rating: C-

 

Lisa Marie Varon comes to the ring and says that she's looking forward to teaming with Maria and Melanie Lynskey for the first time ever at Final Resolution as they take on Bianca Beauchamp, Jackie Moore and Sharmell. However before Varon can say anything else she is attacked from behind by Jacqueline Moore. Moore hits Varon with a big body slam before leaving the ring, with Varon hurt and holding her back.

Rating: E+

 

Dylan Postl versus Matt Hardy

Postl is really off his game tonight which allows Hardy to get the quick win in this one.

Matt Hardy beat Dylan Postl in 1:20 by pinfall with a Twist Of Fate.

Match Rating: D+

 

O.D.B. comes to the ring with a microphone and says that she will win the six-way Knockouts title match and pin Champion Mickie James herself to become Knockouts Champion again at Final Resolution. O.D.B. then puts the microphone on the mat and leaves the ring.

Rating: F+

 

Kofi Kingston and Ray Gordy versus Cody Deaner and Daniels

Sharmell comes to ringside during this match to scout Deaner and Daniels as possible future members of the Main Event Mafia. They are unable to get the win here however as Kingston pins Daniels in a short match.

Kofi Kingston and Ray Gordy beat Deaner and Daniels in 2:25.

Match Rating: D-

 

KIYOSHI comes to the ring, but before he can say anything Rhino comes to the entrance-way with a microphone. Rhino challenges KIYOSHI to a singles match at Final Resolution. KIYOSHI simply nods his head accepting the challenge as Rhino heads to the back, leaving KIYOSHI looking a little worried.

Rating: D

 

Rob Terry versus Sal

Mike Tenay announces during the contest that the winner of this match will receive a future World title shot. Terry gets the cheap but quick win here and the title match down the line.

Rob Terry beat Sal in 0:59 by pinfall, illegally using the ropes

Match Rating: E

 

Beer Money come to the ring. Storm takes a microphone and says that they're very annoyed not to have a match at Final Resolution and demand respect. Storm then throws the microphone to the mat and the pair leave the ring together.

Rating: D-

 

Sheik Abdul Bashir and Rocco versus Finlay and Jesse Neal

Mike Tenay notes that Bashir and Rocco will take on the more experienced pairing of the Colons at Final Resolution, although this is Finlay's debut match in TNA, and he gets the victory for his team after pinning Bashir.

Finlay and Jesse Neal beat Rocco and Sheik Abdul Bashir in 1:43.

Match Rating: D-

 

Samoa Joe comes to the ring but is soon interrupted by Shane Sewell and Joe's opponent at Final Resolution, Shark Boy. Sewell takes a microphone and says that Shark Boy will destroy Joe at Final Resolution. Sewell and Shark Boy then leave the ring, leaving Joe looking visibly angry.

Rating: D-

 

Sojourner Bolt versus Velvet Sky

Cute Kip accompanies his fellow Beautiful People member Velvet Sky to ringside for this bout, however it is still Sojourner Bolt who gets the quick win in this one.

Sojourner Bolt beat Velvet Sky in 1:18 by pinfall.

Match Rating: E

 

X Division Champion returns to the ring with a microphone, however before he can say anything the lights go out and Suicide comes to the ring on a zip wire. Suicide clotheslines Homicide to the mat. The lights come back on with Homicide down in the ring. Suicide then picks up the title belt and lays it on Homicide's prone chest, before leaving the ring.

Rating: E+

 

John Hennigan versus Tae Yang

Tae Yang is still green and inexperienced in the ring, which leads to Hennigan getting the quick win here.

John Hennigan beat Tae Yang in 0:38 by pinfall.

Match Rating: D

 

Cody Rhodes comes to the ring with a microphone. He says he would like to introduce his new tag team partner, and Ted DiBiase Jr. comes to the ring, making his TNA debut. Rhodes passes the microphone to DiBiase who says that the pair will dominate TNA. The two then shake hands before leaving the ring together.

Rating: D+

 

The Miz versus Abyss

Mike Tenay announces during this match that the winner will receive a future Legends title shot. The Miz gets the cheap but quick victory here and the future title match.

The Miz beat Abyss in 1:30 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage

Match Rating: D-

 

Consequences Creed versus Amazing Red

Consequences Creed and Amazing Red just don't click at all, and unfortunately it shows in their performances. Red still gets the quick win in this match.

Amazing Red beat Consequences Creed in 1:18 by pinfall

Match Rating: E

 

Cute Kip comes to the ring with a microphone. He says he's fed up of being just a member of the Beautiful People and deserves more. Before he can say anything else he is interrupted by David Villa, who comes to the ring and takes the microphone from Kip. Villa says that he is a former X Division Champion, and that if anybody deserves more, it's him. The two both seem frustrated and both leave the ring upset.

Rating: C-

 

Bobby Lashley versus Dr. Stevie

Mike Tenay notes that the winner of this contest will also receive a future Legends title shot. Lashley quickly gets the win and the future title match in this one.

Bobby Lashley defeated Dr. Stevie in 0:49 by pinfall with a Spear.

Match Rating: D+

 

Harry Smith comes to the ring and says that it's disgusting that nobodies like Jethro Holliday are getting Legends title matches on Pay-Per-View wheras he isn't even wrestling at Final Resolution. Clearly after hearing enough, Holliday soon comes to the ring and clotheslines Smith right out of it. However he then turns around into a big boot from Legends Champion Kevin Nash. Nash picks up Holliday and hits a Jackknife Powerbomb, before leaving the ring and Holliday a crumpled mess.

Rating: D

 

Chris Harris versus James Gibson

Gibson and Harris have pretty good chemistry, and it lifts this match. Harris soon gets the win here.

Chris Harris beat James Gibson in 0:35 by pinfall with a Spear.

Match Rating: D

 

Abyss returns to the ring looking upset, however before he can say anything Jay Lethal comes to the ring. Lethal shockingly hits Abyss with a Low Blow before hitting the Lethal Combination to huge boos from the fans in attendance. The fans continue to boo Lethal as he leaves the ring, with Abyss unable to get to his feet inside it.

Rating: E

 

Non-Title: Kurt Angle versus The Honky Tonk Man

Honky Tonk Man was unfortunately rusty in the ring, but that should go away once he gets a few more matches under his belt. The World Champion capitalises on Honky Tonk Man not wrestling for a long time to get the win here.

Kurt Angle beat Honky Tonk Man in 15:49 by pinfall.

Andromeda has one of his best matches so far against CM Punk and hopefully he performs well in the Legends title match at Final Resolution.

here you give 1min matches to guys like y2j, jeff hardy, big show, aj styles etc who really should have long matches and you give Andromeda i ****ing 17min match who really shouldn't main event anythin at all the fans would go home po'd if they went to a show with your ****ty ass booking.

 

and who would want to sit trough a ppv with 16 freaking maches ... geesj

Last night's TNA House Show made an amazing $68,840 for the company, an impressive amount.

 

The contract of World Champion Kurt Angle is up for renewal, and TNA are quickly trying to sign him to a new deal.

 

ROH have made an offer to Matt Sydal, who will be competing for the World title at Final Resolution.

 

ROH have also made an offer to Ayako Hamada, who will challenge for the Knockouts title at Final Resolution.

TNA Impact last night drew a 3.19 rating on Spike TV, which is quite a good number.

 

New TNA star Ted DiBiase Jr. will be in action in tonight's SmackDown!, losing to Paul Burchill in his fairwell match.

Saturday, Week 4, November, 2009

 

Last night's TNA House Show made an astonishing $73,840 for the company, and turned a huge profit.

 

TNA Impact's airing on Sun Sports last night drew a 0.11 rating, about the usual for such a small network.

 

Unfortunately, however, TNA Impact on Bravo last night in the UK drew a low 0.00 rating.

 

Ted DiBiase Jr. has now left the WWE and is working exclusively for TNA on a Pay-Per-Appearance contract.

 

Gail Kim and Melina have become very good friends in the WWE locker-room recently. Gail Kim teamed with Natalya at Survivor Series to defeat Kelly Kelly and Jilian Hall, but Gail and Melina have recently been teaming together on the ECW brand, where Melina is the reigning Womens Champion.

 

TNA has signed a former World Heavyweight Champion, who will debut at next week's Impact tapings.

Friday, Week 1, December, 2009

 

Last night's airing of TNA Impact on Spike TV drew a decent 3.49 rating for the company.

 

Shawn Michaels continues to reject TNA's request for negotiations as he feels his time as an active-competitor is over.

 

Actor and star of "Two and a Half Men" also continues to reject TNA's request for negotiations as he is happy acting.

 

American Actor Seth Green also continues to reject TNA's request for negotiations as he has no interest in appearing for them.

Last night's airing of TNA Impact on Sun Sports drew a 0.12 rating, which isn't bad for a small network.

Last night's TNA House Show made $63,740 for the company, a tremendous amount.

 

Last night's airing of TNA Impact on Bravo 2 in the UK drew a low 0.01 rating, which is still an improvement from recent weeks.

 

Unfortunately though, TNA Impact on FOX8 last night drew a very low 0.00 rating.

 

TNA has extended the contract of Matt Sydal, who will be competing for the World title at Final Resolution.

 

TNA has also extended the contract of Ray Gordy, who will be teaming with Kofi Kingston at Final Resolution to take on the Motor City Machine Guns.
