Joanne Rodriguez vs. Stephanie Hazel

Rodriguez really pushed the pace in this bout, destroying Hazel start to finish. Rodriguez really just showcased her full array of skills, and just ripped Hazel to the ground, multiple times, and in deadly fashion. And for the match to be held in mud, well, that was, just, Great. Rodriguez will definitely continue to rise up the rankings and eventually get a title shot in the near future.

Grace Harper vs. Geena The Warrior Princess

Geena The Warrior Princess really came out strong in this match up, but eventually gassed out, and before she had the chance to rest, Grace Harper bounced on her and beat her down for nearly a Full 2 Minutes. Eventually Geena figured she should try to fight back, but this allowed Grace to lock on to Geena's Back, and she hit the Fisherman's Suplex and ended Geena's Night.

Frankly, I am Pissed Off, at the McWade Brothers, they seem to think we did something wrong in our match last week, and seem to be denying that we beat them fair and square. So, I have but one thing to say, Win Or Lose tonight, Me and my Partner Owen, will be competing in Singles Matches at Big City Brawl, and On Behal of my partner. Dean McWade, Owen Love is calling you out to a match at Big City Brawl, and Dallas, you're mine...

Tom Townsend : Well Ladies and Gentlemen, It's finally happened. The Natural has done it. He's called out the Mountain Men, and I don't think that's such a good idea in a singles match.

The Can-Am Blondes vs. The Kelowna Playaz
NOTBPW Tag Team Championship

It didn't take long for The Natural and Owen Love to start beating on The Playaz, but it also didn't take a genius to know what would happen next, Omar Brown and Harlem Haynes quickly entered the ring and wrecked The Blondes with Brutal Clothesline before leaving the ring, allowing Boone and Green to finish the job. The Blondes managed to get back up to their feet, but not for long as Boone shot back in with a slam, and allowed Craig Green to lock on to the submission.

Tommy London : Well, Street Cred was obviously up to their crazy tricks again, but With the Stone Wall, Pun Intended of course, we should be safe.

Johnny Bloodstone vs. Scott Ripley

Johnny Bloodstone was obviously expected to destroy in this match up, and he didn't do anything less. Bloodstone pushed the pace and dominated Ripley to such an extent that Ripley shot in on him and made the mistake of dropping his hands, and ate a massive clothesline to the jaw. Bloodstone quickly sensed blood, and rushed for the pin, but Scott Ripley was able to kick out before being pinned, but was reckless and got caught in a Bloodstone Mutilation. Ripley held on, but eventually started hurting, and tapped out before anything was broken or snapped.

Dan Stone Jr. vs. John Maverick

Dan Stone Jr. was really on tonight, just dominating John Maverick, but not for the whole match. Maverick had managed to take Stone Jr Down to the ground, and nearly ended it with an Anaconda Choke at the 5 Minute Mark, but Stone turned over and got back to his feet before hitting some Stomps and Kicks, before landing the Top Rope Elbow Drop, and catching him in the Stone Ankle Stretch. Maverick tried to roll over, but Stone kept him locked in. Maverick Stood up, and Stone Rolled over, and caught Maverick Tight, Maverick wouldn't tap out ! And Just as His Ankle was going to break, he finally used common sense, and tapped out.

R.K. Hayes vs. Jeremy Stone

Street Cred were up to their dirty tricks again, not even allowing Dan Stone Jr. to get into position before attacking Jeremy. Jeremy avoided Brown but was dropped when Boone and Green came to attack. Stone Jr. and Bloodstone understood right away what was happening and rushed to the ring. Stone Jr. threw Brown and Boone out of the ring, and Bloodstone wrecked Green and Harlem. They left the ring to let Jeremy finish what had started. But as Jeremy started fighting, Haynes managed to sneak away from Stone Jr and Bloodstone, and hid in secrecy waiting for a signal from Hayes. Jeremy finally managed to get his footing back, and started beating down on Hayes, landing a Stone Throw, before stomping him, Hayes gave the signal without the Stones seeing it, and out of Nowhere, Harlem Haynes jumped off the Top rope and Incapacitated Jeremy Stone with a Steel Chair ! The Stones noticed Jeremy Not Fighting back, and they immediately ran to the ring.

Post Match Brawl

Dan Stone Jr and Johnny Bloodstone destroy Hayes quickly, to make their jobs easier, and leave him lying on the canvas, as they take care of Brown and Haynes, those two were easy for the Stones. Just as they were brawling, Jeremy Stone Woke up, and quickly helped out in the brawl, and after that, it made it seem easy. Dan Stone and Sean McFly notice this happening on the big screen, and rush to the ring to help stop the brawl. But by the time they got there, Brown, Hayes, and Haynes were on the canvas and the brawl was over. Boone and Green tried to get into the ring, but were stopped by the authority figures.

What topsy-turvy world is this? Run ins? Mud wrestling? Bloodstone teaming with the Stones? Jeremy cutting promos??? This isn't the NOTBPW I knew, that's for sure

Maybe slow down your posting, and watch the capital letters mid-sentence, but otherwise, I'm interested to see how the characters develop.

Random Thoughts Leading Up To Big City Brawl

So if you've been following NOTBPW for the past 2 weeks, you'd obviously know that Big City Brawl is coming up. And boy do we have some stellar match-ups for you. Dan Stone Jr. will obviously be making an appearance, and some shocking moments will be sure to happen if Street Cred shows up.

To Be honest, I never thought the Street Cred concept would work, I personally thought the fans wouldn't accept it, but to my surprise they actually did, and that pushed me to toy around with the product a little bit, just changing the match ratio, and bumping up our Mainstream Levels up the slightest bit, not enough to become the next SWF, but just enough to bring in a new range of fans. About the Stones, I think that keeping them undefeated could get a little boring for the fans, which is why I decided to allow them to win, but in a cheap finish. That sat well with the fans, so I definitely plan on doing that in the future once more.

Speaking of our Product, Maybe when we hit National, there is always that thought in the back of my mind of maybe changing our product to sort of a TCW-esque style, with the two main focuses being Traditional and Mainstream, allowing us to have both the Popular style of wrestling with the Storylines and more Angles. But it also allows us to keep our main promise, keeping tradition. You may think it as a Cop-out, or that it Contradicts itself, but you know, everybody sees things differently, and If you don't like it, Not my problem. It's much easier to try things out and If they don't work, change them, then leaving things the same and always having that thought in the back of your mind that, you know "Heh, I wonder what things would've been like if I tried this"

The thought of ending our relationship with CGC is definitely in the works, especially when Guys like DaLay and The DeColts become available. The Thought of having them in our promotion is just Mind blowing, and the feuds that are possible are endless. So If we could get Dan DaLay in here, with the DeColts, which would be an unlikely situation, it'd just be the perfect scenario.

But let's get back to Big City Brawl, the show is going to be held in the Ottawa Rams Stadium, and we've already got guys like McWade and The Natural, and Love and the other McWade go to war. But before I go, I thought I'd give you the full card for any of you folks who like to participate in Fantasy events, the winner will get a Prize, 2nd and 3rd will also get a prize. So without further ado, here's the card :

Tom Townsend : Well Dan, Great to have you here, and great to be here talking about Big City Brawl, which is tomorrow !
Tommy London : Damn Right, And we've got a stellar card !
Dan Stone : Well, It is great to be here, and we do have a very stellar card ahead of us, and that's why we are here today, to review it. The Main Event of the evening, will feature The Canadian Championship on the line, as Johnny Bloodstone and Dark Angel will go to war.
Tommy London : Now, that's a very interesting match-up, now, Bloodstone is probably one of the best Wrestlers we've ever seen in Canada, and for him to be with us in NOTBPW is a blessing. I mean, we've got the Stones, McFly, Dark Angel and R.K. Hayes.
Tom Townsend : Don't Forget John Maverick !
Tommy London : Right, all those people, and yet still, we've got a battle ahead of us with CGC, who have DaLay and The DeColts. Not Nearly equivalent to our talent pool in my eyes, but very close.
Dan Stone : Well, for sure we have the better talent pool, and to be honest, I don't think CGC will be catching up any time soon, just because we have better matches to put together, and we haven't even put some of our best matches on.
Tommy London : And That's perfectly understandable, now, one thing that has been bothering me, and having the fans questioning, is this here, Why Is Johnny Bloodstone, a known Rival of the Stones in NOTBPW, teaming up with Dan and Jeremy to take down Street Cred ?
Tom Townsend : Yeah, Tell us why, Slick !
Dan Stone : Well, obviously for Storyline purposes, I mean, You've got a heel heavy stable in Street Cred, and it's growing, and what I'm trying to show is that, with McFly Injured, the McWades unwilling to join in on the fight, as the Can-Am Blondes, we needed somebody to help out, and that somebody was Johnny Bloodstone, because he's had history with the Stones, growing up with them and being trained by them. Now, for him to turn over, and go fight that war, shows that deep down, he cares about the Stones, but he had some problems in the past, and undoubtebly he'll go back to a Heel after the war is over, but for now, he's willing to stay Face and end Street Cred once and for all.
Tommy London : Alright, Now I understand, and I understand that we have a Promo for the event, shall we check it out ?
Dan Stone : Sure, Roll Promo !

The Studio darkens as the screen lights up, but no Video is played, just a picture is shown on the screen.

Dan Stone : Alright, so, I guess, No Promo, let's get back to the card then, So Jeremy Stone and John Maverick, Melody Cuthill defends against Grace Harper, and Dan Stone Jr fights Scott Ripley.
Tom Townsend : Annnnnnnnddddd ?
Dan Stone : Dallas McWade fights The Natural and Owen Love fights Dean McWade. Those are our Main Show Match-ups.
Tommy London : Well, I'm betting on an appearance from Street Cred, that's for sure. But we're running short on Time, so I'll just give my thoughts on the overall show. Dan Stone Jr. should crush Scott Ripley, and get into the title picture, Jeremy Stone should make quick work of Maverick, and Cuthill is in for a close battle with Harper. McWades are coming off a loss to the Blondes, but in a Singles match, I think they should dominate, so it should be a great night of fights, Tune In Tomorrow at 8 PM to watch BIG CITY BRAWL 2008 I'm Tommy London, and for Dan Stone and Tom Townsend, G'Night Canada !

During the match, we saw on Display Derek Frost's superior tactical warfare, with The Irish on the receiving end of a bigtime Beating from one half of the Demolition Crew. Alysian wasn't there to do much, and is pretty much on his way to retirement. Dean McWade : As You May Re-Call, on the first January Episode of Championship Wrestling, we lost to the Blondes, well, there was a reason for that. Dallas McWade : As we we're walking into the stadium that night, The Natural and Owen Love, hit us up from behind with a Chair. Nobody Noticed, so they just left us there, and walked to their dressing rooms. We were left a note on our door for us, and it was blackmail. They had, as it would be 'An Inside Man' that was watching us, so we had to get our licks in anyway we could, and this was it. After about a minute, he tripped back to the canvas, and was forced to tap out. Dan Stone Jr jumped back to his feet and looked for R.K. Hayes in the crowd. So We've got yet another Stellar Card tonight, as Johnny Bloodstone will attempt to show that his victory over Dark Angel was not due to a cheap finish, and that he is the better wrestler anyway, so He will try to defeat the Face Painted High Flyer Dark Angel tonight. Tim Westybrook will get a step up in competition tonight, as the Big Man faces off with Dan Stone Jr. and The Kelowna Playaz defend their Tag Team Titles against Unknown Opponents. Melody Cuthill will be welcoming back April Appleseed in a Women's Championship Match-Up and The Natural will be starting our card off against Derek Frost.

Dallas started pounding away at Danny Rushmore, as American Machine rolled with Dean, but in the end Dean Threw Machine off and went to the aid of his brother. French = Awesome. You jobbed out the American Invasion pretty hard though. Just my two cents: Liking the layout and etc, but one thing I noticed: Why oh why are the main events of NOTBPW just under 10 minutes long? With NOTBPW's product long matches equals good ratings. You could get B+ to A* matches with 30min matches. I usually don't interfere in each other's bookings but just throwing this one as a tip. Do short matches in the beginning of the event, all of the 3 first matches should be under 10 minutes while the last two should be atleast 20+, if not 30+. And yeah, I wish I could use french in my diary aswell.

Hardcore Killah and Slim V as Thug Life will go to war with the Stone Siblings, The Forces of America and Joey Poison and Dark Angel as "Poisoned Angels". It should be quite the match. Wanda Fish and Joanne Rodriguez will face off to determine potential Top Contenders for Melody Cuthill's Title. Dallas McWade and R.K. Hayes will battle it out. DWN makes his debut (Davis Wayne Newton for those people who are new to wrestling) against the Other McWade, and for the first match of the Night, Mighty Cavanagh, Tim Westybrook and Scott Ripley will battle it out in a Three-Way Elimination match. Mighty Cavanagh vs. Tim Westybrook vs. Scott Ripley

Tim Westybrook came out strong in this undercard match up, dominating Mighty Cavanagh very early, pinning him in under 4 minutes. Then in became an all out war between Ripley and Westybrook, with the latter starting off the brawl with some quick punches and a body slam. Westybrook followed up with some stomps and elbows, before Ripley turned the tables and flipped Westybrook over and started playing his own game with some ground and pound. Westybrook pushed out of it though, and finished it off with a Pinfall.

Davis Wayne Newton was over matched in this battle, as Dean McWade fired off punches and kicks at will before hitting a brutal slam that nearly sent Newton right through the canvas. McWade continued the assault with Stomps and Punches before getting kicked away by the new comer. But the delay of assault was not long, as Newton took a Brutal Left Hook that sent him crashing to the canvas, as McWade followed up with a Canadian Lariat as he was getting up. McWade ended it with the Pin @ 12:57

Dallas McWade and R.K. Hayes had a score to settle in this match, and it showed, as R.K. came forward hard and fast, and hit McWade with one very hard shot that collapsed him hard to the canvas, but Dean McWade came to his brother's rescue, tackling R.K. and allowing Dallas to get up, and attempt the Pin. R.K. Kicked out of the pin. Looking for his partners from Street Cred, R.K.'s Mind was somewhere else, and it gave McWade an opportunity to rid himself of the Pack Leader once and for all. Hitting the Canadian Lariat, and ending the match.

Joanne Rodriguez and Wanda Fish proved why they are driving forces in the Women's Division, putting on the most entertaining women's fight in the history of NOTBPW, with Rodriguez and Fish going back and forth for dominance. Rodriguez got the upper hand and was hitting flurry after flurry of punches, but Wanda Fish turned the tables on her when she took her straight to the ground and pounded her out. Rodriguez managed to kick out, and took her anger out on Fish, and hit the J-Rocker. Fish went down hard and took some more punishment before Rodriguez hit the pin.

Thug Life vs. The Forces of America vs. The Stone Siblings vs. Poisoned Angels

Poisoned Angels proved that they aren't a fake team, as they quickly eliminated Thug Life. Then it became a Three Way Affair, as Dan Stone Jr rushed Jim Force before getting countered by Captain USA. Dark Angel positioned himself on the top rope, waiting for Jim Force to come near him, but missed and hit Poison, allowing Jeremy Stone to hit the Pinfall on Poison, as Dan Stone Jr. held back Dark Angel. It then became The Forces of America vs. The Stone Siblings. Dan Stone Jr. was double teamed by Captain USA and Jim Force before Jeremy Stone came to his rescue, taking out Captain USA. Jeremy held him down as Dan hit the pinfall on Jim Force, ending the match at 13:47.

NOTBPW Canadian Championship

Johnny Bloodstone and John Maverick put on an absolute war, for nearly a half an hour battle, that the fans really loved. Bloodstone performed to his usual excellence, but Maverick really impressed the crowd of Quebecors. Bloodstone continued pushing the pace as the match went on, and Maverick started to tire. Around the 20 Minute Mark, Maverick was shot, and Bloodstone jumped at the opportunity to end the match. Bloodstone hit some punches, one of which dropped Maverick to the canvas, but he managed to stumble back to his feet. Bloodstone continued coming forward, as he hit a Jumping Knee that dropped Maverick again, and this time he followed him down to the ground, and locked onto the Bloodstone Mutilation, ending the match in just under 28 Minutes.
