GHC Openweight

15 Minute Time Limit

Harumi Okazawaya © vs. Masutaro Kataoka

This was a rather unspectacular match between the two solid performers. Right near the end we saw a freak accident happen when the reigning champion Okazawaya bounced off the second rope and hit Kataoka with his face crusher finishing move, the "Hurricane Harumi", but at the same time tore his rotator cuff off in mid-air in a sickening fashion. He didn't get all the power behind the move but it still hit and Okazawaya finished the match in pain, pinning Kataoka by just barely laying on top of him.

Result: Harumi Okazawaya defeated Masutaro Kataoka in 14:21 by pinfall with the Hurricane Harumi.

Harumi Okazawaya makes defence number 4 of his GHC Openweight title.

Grade: C-

Isei: "That has got to hurt. Poor Harumi. He just won the title in last December and this was just his 4th defence this year. What a pity."

Hanshiro: "Those rotator cuff injuries are nasty and can take a long time to recover from. I'm of course concerned on the wellbeing of Okazawaya but I must point out that unfortunately we have to strip the GHC Openweight title from one of our most consistent performers now that he's injured."

'Interpromotional Battle'

15 Minute Time Limit

Mabuchi Furusawa vs. Mokuami Maita

The match starts with Furusawa wisely trying to ground his high flying opponent but failing in doing so, ending up in the Furusawa Armbar himself. Mabuchi gets away from the move but clearly seems to be unhappy that his own finishing move, which his father perfected and made popular during his career, was used on him. Furusawa starts to follow Maita aggressively around the ring but ends up getting beaten in the outside when Maita connects with a dropkicksault, then climbs back to the ring and comes crashing down with a plancha dive.

Maita got only a two count out of Furusawa who turned the tables by countering Maita's Assassination Attempt, the dream hold neckbreaker, into rolling suplexes! Furusawa begun working on Maita's legs until Maita rolled them into a small package but again got only a two count.

The even match came to an end when Furusawa was going for a half nelson suplex which Maita countered into the Assassination Attempt which got the "Babyfaced Assassin" the three count and a pinfall victory over the owner's son.

Result: Mokuami Maita defeated Mabuchi Furusawa in 10:36 by pinfall with the Assassination Attempt.

Grade: C

Hanshiro: "Maita got a nice win.. Mabuchi still has a lot to learn, it's a shame he ended up locked in my move.. That's a blasphemy. A Furusawa locked into the Furusawa Arm Bar."

Katsuhiko: "Sure does look like his old man in the ring, doesn't he?"

Hanshiro: "Eventually, yes."

GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team

15 Minute Time Limit Tag Elimination Threeway

Makuda & Kataoka vs. Murkami & Ryunosuke vs. Split Personality

The GCG wrestlers quickly teamed up on the outsiders, the Split Personality. After dumping them out of the ring the four GCG wrestlers concentraded on each other until the machines came back. The match quickly broke down with all six men in the ring, fighting all over the place. Kataoka and Makuda were the first being eliminated after the Tag Neckbreaker Drop from Split Personality, Daniels was holding Makuda up for a backdrop and Insane Machine came running from the ropes and hit the neckbreaker on Makuda which got him the three count.

Murkami and Ryonosuke gained the upper hand by isolating Insane Machine while keeping Daniels away until Insane Machine hit a nice dropkick, kicking both GCG wrestlers over. Daniels finally got back to the ring and hit Ryonosuke with his Cradle Piledriver finisher which got them the pinfall. With this win Split Personality cemented their place in history by being the first GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team champions.

Result: Split Personality defeated Masutaro Kataoka and Namboku Makuda and Naonobu Murkami and Ryunosuke Matsuki in 10:18; the order of elimination was Masutaro Kataoka and Namboku Makuda first, and finally Naonobu Murkami and Ryunosuke Matsuki.

Split Personality win the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team titles.

Grade: C-

Isei: "Split Personality got gold around their waists after nearly year and a half since their last reign as WLW tag team champions."

30 Minute Time Limit

Toshiharu Hyobanshi vs. Yasuhide Tayama

Hyobanshi came to the match focused as ever but was lacking the same kind of passion that he has had against the wrestlers from other promotions, especially Iesada and Bingci from INSPIRE. Hyobanshi seemed to underestimate Tayama who surprisingly was in control most of the match. The chokeslam specialist Tayama used his trademark chokeslam variations effectively against Hyobanshi who's back was really hurting from the Chokeslam backbreakers Tayama hit few times in the match.

Tayama pinpointed Hyobanshi's back quite well which pretty much disabled Hyobanshi's suplexes, especially his Nova Bomb finishing moves which involve a lot of lifting. Hyobanshi had to result in using his mentor's, Kazu Yoshizawa's move arsenal. Hyobanshi started using Golden Boot Attack, the trademark Mafia Kick of Yoshizawa aswell as his Golden Knife Edge chops. Hyobanshi got Tayama to ground and started working on his legs, ending the match when he locked Tayama into the Yoshizawa Figure Four Leglock!

Result: Toshiharu Hyobanshi defeated Yasuhide Tayama in 23:58 by submission with the Yoshizawa Figure Four Leglock.

Grade: C

Isei: "Hyobanshi hasn't forgotten the teachings from his mentor Yoshizawa."

Katsuhiko: "It sure was nice seeing him using his mentor's moves, like the Golden Boot and the knife edge chops and especially the Yoshizawa Figure Four Leglock."

'Interpromotional Battle'

30 Minute Time Limit Tag

Pistol Pete Hall & Hiroyasu Gakusha vs. Li Bingci & Masaaki Okazaki

Talk about class. The four wrestlers had a good, clean fight with no cheap tactics whatsoever. Frequent tags made the match interesting and fast paced, with the exception of Bingci who always slowed the pace down as it clearly suited his technical style. Gakusha had learned to counter Bingci's submissions better this time which got him the upper hand but on the other hand he was struggling against Okazaki.

Finally in the end Gakusha kept Bingci in the ringside while Hall and Okazaki were in the ring, exchanging hard strikes. Okazaki Barrage busted Hall open, who then hit Okazaki with a Short Pistol Whip Lariat which got him a two count.

Hall went for the ropes, Okazaki countered with a roundhouse kick to the gut which reeled Hall momentarily, until Hall grappled with Okazaki and whipped him to the ropes and ran to the other side himself. Hall ended the match by hitting a high impact Pistol Whip Lariat to Okazaki who came from the ropes on the other side with huge momentum, adding to the collision.

The four men celebrated in the ring after the match, showing respect to each other.

Result: Hiroyasu Gakusha and Pistol Pete Hall defeated Li Bingci and Masaaki Okazaki in 26:26 when Pistol Pete Hall defeated Masaaki Okazaki by pinfall with the Pistol Whip Lariat.

Grade: B-

Isei: "A nice show of respect from the four competitors. This is how the promotion battles should look like."

Katsuhiko: "The whole battle is just starting as these are just exhibition matches. Wait till they have matches in the interpromotional tournaments."

30 Minute Time Limit

Julian Watson vs. Jimmy Cox

Watson showed everyone just why he was signed by BHOTWG and why it's such a huge loss for GCG. Watson and Cox wrestled a good 25 minute match where the main spot was the Tiger Claw DDT delivered to Cox while on the apron, nailing Cox's head to the apron. This got him only a two count since Cox was still too fresh. In the end Cox's experience helped him to pull trough the match and gather another yet another victory with his feared, vicious Cradle Piledriver finishing move, the Immortal Driver.

Result: Jimmy Cox defeated Julian Watson in 25:28 by pinfall with the Immortal Driver.

Grade: C+

Katsuhiko: "Cox has been impressive this year, having several good bouts against the youngsters. It'll be interesting to see where he exactly positions in the rankings, I would love to see him against our other main eventers."

'Interpromotional Battle'

15 Minute Time Limit

Bulldozer Brandon Smith vs. Shingen Miyazaki

Smith surprised Miyazaki when he speared him straight to his corner a high velocity Quarterback Sack. Smith continued with an array of open hand slaps, then whipped Miyazaki over himself with an overhead belly to belly. Smith continued the attack until Miyazaki hit a dropkick to the knee out of desperation. Miyazaki continued to wear down Smith's legs up until he locked in his finishing move, the Ankle Lock. Smith tried to crawl to the ropes but to no avail, as he tapped out in 8.08 in this surprisingly good contest between the youngsters.

Result: Shingen Miyazaki defeated Bulldozer Brandon Smith in 8:08 by submission with the Ankle Lock.

Grade: C

Katsuhiko: "Smith's aggressive style cost him the match and will surely affect his gameplan when going against anyone with good submission moves."

GHC World Heavyweight

30 Minute Time Limit

Pistol Pete Hall © vs. Kiminobu Kuroki

The arrogant Kuroki wants them to start the match with a test of strenght which backfires bad as the smaller Kuroki clearly loses as Hall easily twists Kuroki's wrists as much as he likes, eventually pushing him all the way to the canvas. Hall lets Kuroki go but ends up receiving a hard chop from Kuroki. Hall starts to chase Kuroki around the ring until Kuroki drops out of the ring. Hall stays in the ring and asks the referee to start the count. Kuroki eventually gets back into the ring but stays away from Hall's grip, pretty much hitting and running the first five minutes in the match.

Hall finally gets a hold of Kuroki and slams him with a sidewalk slam, then going for the Triplet Elbow Drops and a leg drop! Cover, only a two count. Hall lifts Kuroki up and down with gutwrench suplex, Kuroki gets up from it quite quickly and hits an enzuigiri kick which reels Hall who eventually drops to the ground. Kuroki locks in the Mercury Sleeper, the champion is in trouble!

Hall seems to be fading away but gets to the ropes just in time. Kuroki starts kicking Hall to the back, even connecting with few kicks to the side of the head. Kuroki grabs Hall but has troubles lifting the big man up for the Kuroki Krush. Kuroki realises that he can't get Hall up for the brainbuster and ends up DDT'ing Hall to the mat!

One..

Two..

Two!! Hall survives and sits up, clearly showing that Kuroki will need much more to win the reigning champion. Hall stands up and intimidates the smaller Kuroki who isn't afraid of Hall. Kuroki bounces off the ropes and hits a lariat to no effect as Hall just stands tall. Kuroki goes for another and seems to hurt himself in doing the lariat as the big man doesn't move. Hall signs for Kuroki to go for a third one, which Kuroki does, this time hitting a jumping Mafia Kick to the chest of Hall, who takes a few steps back!

Kuroki gets some speed from the ropes but gets leveled with a shoulder tackle! Hall lifts Kuroki up..

Cattle Rush!! Hall lifts Kuroki across his chest, then rams him first into one corner, then again into the opposite one. He finally blasts Kuroki with the powerslam, throwing the contender to the center of the ring!! Cover!!

One..

Two..

Three!!

Pistol Pete Hall defeated Kiminobu Kuroki in 19:55 by pinfall with the Pistol Whip Lariat.

Pistol Pete Hall makes defence number 3 of his GHC World Heavyweight title.

Grade: B

Katsuhiko: "Another impressive defence from the World champ."

Hanshiro: "Kuroki tried his best but seemed to have the wrong strategy going into the match, trying to outpower, suplex and dominate Hall by using power, a thing he lacks off compared to the champ."

'Interpromotional Battle'

30 Minute Time Limit

Toshiharu Hyobanshi vs. Awesome Thunder

Hyobanshi walked to the ring with attitude, looking to destroy WLW's Awesome Thunder in his quest against the outsiders. With fire in his eyes he started mauling Thunder wildly for the first ten minutes in the match, but could not finish Thunder. Infact, Hyobanshi tired himself out because of the fast pace which then gave Thunder the advantage over the fatiqued Hyobanshi who was getting really frustrated as Thunder begun to have huge momentum behind him, connecting with several flying head scissors, hurricanranas and other high flying moves.

Near the 20 minute mark Hyobanshi begun making a come back, hitting big moves on Thunder but again could not put him away. Thunder attacked with several spinning back kicks and backhand blows, and almost pinning Hyobanshi with a low Arrow Suplex, since Thunder couldn't lift Hyobanshi all the way up, and almost dropped him on his head.

Thunder then went for the turnbuckle and hit a quick second rope knee drop, then went for the turnbuckle on the other side and hit his Thunder Shock on Hyobanshi, but only for a two count.

The last minutes begun in the match as the grueling sturggle continued. Both men begun no-selling each others moves because of an adreraline rush they both had. Neither one didn't want to lose the match. Hyobanshi tried to hit a Full Nelson Suplex, Thunder landed on his feet and hit a Leaping DDT from which Hyobanshi got straight up, hitting the Golden Boot Attack on Thunder. Hyobanshi grabbed Thunder from the mask, trying to rip it off. Referee separated the two for a while, Hyobanshi closed in on Thunder who rolled the two into small package!!

But only for a two count since Hyobanshi kicked out. Hyobanshi roared in anger, grabbed Thunder and hit his Nova Bomb!!

One..

Two..

*DING*

The 30 minute time limit had expired. Hyobanshi could not believe that he had another draw against a foreigner, this time against Awesome Thunder. Hyobanshi stormed out of the ring, knocking the referee down on his way to the ramp.

Result: Awesome Thunder drew with Toshiharu Hyobanshi in 30:00 when the time limit expired.

Grade: C+

Isei: "Wow. Props to Thunder for surviving, what a match."

Katsuhiko: "I'm wondering what distracts Hyobanshi from winning the matches against the talent from INSPIRE and WLW.. I just don't get it."

Hanshiro: "That's all from this week's edition of Stars Of The Golden Canvas, I hope you enjoyed as much as we did!"

Isei: "We had another set of good matches this week. We saw the Openweight champion Okazawaya getting injured, we crowned new GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team champions in Split Personality and saw Hall defending the World title against Kurki.

Katsuhiko: "We'll see you next week, only here on Japanese Sports Vision 3!"

FULL RESULTS

Week 3, January '08.

TUESDAY

Iwata Hall, Tohoku. Attendance: 504

Match #0: Watson & Marlowe defeated Coleman & Ferdinand in 11:20 when Julian Watson defeated Nathan Coleman by pinfall with the Tiger Claw DDT. C-

Match #1: Harumi Okazawaya defeated Masutaro Kataoka in 14:21 by pinfall with the Hurricane Harumi. Harumi Okazawaya makes defence number 4 of his GHC Openweight title. C-

Match #2: Mokuami Maita defeated Mabuchi Furusawa in 10:36 by pinfall with the Assassination Attempt. C

Match #3: Dark EAGLE defeated Eagle Kawasawa in 16:09 by count out. Dark EAGLE makes defence number 1 of his GHC Junior Heavyweight title. D+

This was a weird event where we trusted our Junior division way too much as the main event was the worst match of the night. We started with a solid tag action in Watson & Marlowe being Coleman & Ferdinand, nothing special there. Okazawaya suffered a horrible injury as he torn his rotator cuff against Kataoka. The GHC Openweight Championship is now vacated and a tournament will be held on next month's PPV named "Man Or Animal". Maita schooled Furusawa and picked up a nice victory in our best match of the night. Dark EAGLE made his first defence against our Eagle Kawasawa in a disappointing match which ended in count out when Kawasawa and EAGLE were fighting around the arena and Dark EAGLE got back to the ring just before the 20 count while Kawasawa didn't.

Harumi Okazawaya is expected to be out for a year due to the torn rotator cuff, however the possible surgery would be a low risk surgery and thus he's scheduled to be operated on Wednesday.

Overall Grade: D+

Match #4: Toshiharu Hyobanshi defeated Yasuhide Tayama in 23:58 by submission with the Yoshizawa Figure Four Leglock. C

Match #5: Hiroyasu Gakusha and Pistol Pete Hall defeated Li Bingci and Masaaki Okazaki in 26:26 when Pistol Pete Hall defeated Masaaki Okazaki by pinfall with the Pistol Whip Lariat. B-

We started Wednesday's show with a physical match between the young prospects Umaga and Miyazaki and then crowned new GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team champions in Split Personality. Griffin and Morioka provided a snorefest which cleary indicated that the tag specialists should stay in the tag matches. We had another GCG vs. WLW tag match where the c0cky pure bloods Takayuki and Kuroki scored yet another win against WLW wrestlers as they defeated Hell Monkey and KOKI Ishibashi. Just before Kuroki locked in the Mercury Sleeper, Takayuki hit Ishibashi with a low blow behind the referees back which got him huge heat from the crowd. Hyobanshi defeated Tayama in a disappointing match where Hyobanshi used moves of his mentor Kazu Yoshizawa. In the main event GCG Main eventers defeated INSPIRE main eventers in a nice, clean match.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/sadhappy/GCG2/Harumi.jpg

Harumi Okazawaya's Torn Rotator Cuff was operated today and the surgery was a complete success. Okazawaya will be out for about 7 months instead of the full year. The injury will however leave permanent damage on Okazawaya's hand. Okazawaya's long contract expires in 19 months and thus he's in no danger of losing his job with the Golden Canvas Grappling.

Overall Grade: C+

Toyama Hall, Chubu. Attendance: 666 :p

Match #0: Shotaro Ikina defeated Bulldozer Brandon Smith in 5:52 by pinfall with the Ikina Driver. C-

Match #1: Nathan Coleman defeated Black Eagle in 8:12 by pinfall with the Pioneer Twist. D-

Match #2: Stuart Ferdinand defeated Ryunosuke Matsuki in 12:47 by pinfall with the Fisherman's Suplex. D+

Match #3: Jimmy Cox defeated Julian Watson in 25:28 by pinfall with the Immortal Driver. C+

Overall Grade: C

Smith and Ikina started the show, Smith seems to have good matches against the veterans. Coleman and Ferdinand seem to be designed for tag matches as their matches against Black Eagle and Matsuki weren't that good, altough Ferdinand seemed to have good chemistry with Matsuki. The event was saved by the good main event where Watson fall victim of the Immortal Driver, like the dozens of wrestlers before him.

Match #1: Shingen Miyazaki defeated Bulldozer Brandon Smith in 8:08 by submission with the Ankle Lock. C

Match #2: Masutaro Kataoka defeated Namboku Makuda in 6:51 by submission with the Sunrise Hold. D

Match #3: Mabuchi Furusawa defeated Kiemon Yoshimatsu in 6:36 by submission with the Furusawa Armbar. D

Match #4: Hell Monkey defeated Jack Marlowe in 23:42 by pinfall with the Tumbling Monkey. C+

Match #5: Pistol Pete Hall defeated Kiminobu Kuroki in 19:55 by pinfall with the Cattle Rush. Pistol Pete Hall makes defence number 3 of his GHC World Heavyweight title. B

Match #6: Awesome Thunder drew with Toshiharu Hyobanshi in 30:00 when the time limit expired. C+

Overall Grade: C+

Not much to say from the undercard, Miyazaki and Smith had a good match and the other matches were quite bad. Furusawa and Yoshimatsu didn't click and Kataoka vs. Makuda was just a boring match. Once Makuda is no longer considered a young lion he might get paired with Hyobanshi, who knows. It would help Makuda in a lot of ways while it would probably render Hyobanshi out of the main event scene. We'll have to think about that. Hall made a great defence against Kuroki and Awesome Thunder drew with Hyobanshi in the main event. It seems that we have underestimated Hall as he continues to deliver the best matches night in, night out.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/sadhappy/GCG2/Nathan.jpg

After the match against Rhino Umaga, Nathan Coleman had an argument with a fan at ringside who shouted something at Coleman who then almost jumped over the guardrail. Mr. Furusawa gave Coleman a serious warning by saying that it's going to be his last chance, saying that we cannot have our wrestlers attacking our fans, it's a serious no-no in the business. One more prank or a fight with anyone in the roster or in the crowd, Coleman's out.

Overall Grade: D

This Saturday marked the change in our schedule as it was coming clear that we were draining everything out from our wrestlers. They were getting way too fatiqued which resulted in bad matches between bad workers in Saturday. This was the worst show during this year, we have to remove few shows from our weekly schedule. Not only are we hurting our popularity with shows like this, we are putting our wrestlers in serious danger every week.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/sadhappy/GCG2/Shunko.jpghttp://koti.mbnet.fi/sadhappy/GCG2/Kiminobu.jpg

After the Saturday's show our referee Shunko Nakada spread rumours about Kiminobu Kuroki, I don't know what they were about. Furusawa resulted again in giving the "last chance" to a worker, this time our referee. There are plenty of good referees in Japan at the moment so Nakada should really consider his actions and behaviour for future. This wasn't the first time Nakada got himself into trouble as he spread rumours about Marlowe last week.

  • Shingen Miyazaki has signed a PPA deal with Pro Wrestling SAISHO on Monday, Week 4.

  • Eagle Kawasawa, Henry Bennett and Nathan Coleman have left WLW due to the Loan contract expiry. Kawasawa had a succesful run in WLW as he won all three matches, two of them pairing with Bairei Yasujiro and Silver Shark in tag and six man tag matches (C, C+, C+). Bennett wasn't so lucky as he lost all three matches (D+, D+, C-), losing to likes of Karasu and Power Trip WLW. Coleman was also on the losing streak, losing twice to Toyokuni Hardcore and to Silver Shark (D+, D, C-).

  • Masaaki Okazaki, Li Bingci and KOKI Ishibashi have left GCG due to Loan contract expiry. All three man had good matches in Golden Canvas. No further trades are yet to be made.

OOC: As Week 3 was over, we raised "Modern" in our product to "Medium". I would love to just skip the Week 4 and Week 1 of February since there isn't a lot to write about. I really want to just get to the GCG: Man Or Animal PPV and continue the diary from there with the new league rankings and rules. The booking thus far has been really random and with so many shows it's been very inconsistent.

EDIT: Oh yeah the predictions! Just a minute!!

Prediction Results, Week 3:

Tigerkinney 8/9

Bigpapa42 8/9

maskedpropaganda 8/9

Foolinc 7 - 8/9 (There seems to be a in Harumi but..??)

Hyde Hill 7/9

Man that was an easy week!! The "Special Deal, Alter Push Status" prize will be rewarded only on PPV. As so many got the predictions mostly right I'm going to award the "Five choices" award to Tigerkinney, Bigpapa42 and maskedpropaganda. The choices are, again:

* A match to be shown on Stars Of Golden Canvas (You can choose a wrestler who you would like to see in action).

* An interview with any wrestler on the roster.

* To book a match that will be held as soon as possible.

* (A 3 Match Talent Trade from any promotion we have a working agreement with.(WLW and INSPIRE won't trade with me anymore from Week 1 of February since I've been using the option too much ))

* Suggest a Tag Team match and choose the participants to see if there's any chemistry between the workers.

* (You can suggest a new prize to be added to the list since I'm running out of ideas! )

I still have atleast an interview with Shingen Miyazaki scheduled.

Predictions list:

GHC Junior Heavyweight

Dark EAGLE © vs. Eagle Kawasawa

GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team

Split Personality © vs. Black Eagle & Kiemon Yoshimatsu

Both Junior Division champions retain their titles

Shingen Miyazaki vs. Toshiharu Hyobanshi

Toshiharu Hyobanshi vs. Takayuki 2000

Hyobanshi is one of the top guys in the promotion and should continue to be pushed as such. Both Miyazaki and Takayuki are decent talents but shouldn't be going over Hyobanshi at this stage

Jimmy Cox vs. Rhino Umaga

Umaga will give Cox a tough battle but the veteran will find a way to come out on top

Awesome Thunder vs. Pistol Pete Hall

It may be non title but I can't see Thunder being built as challenger for the World Heavyweight Title, so a non title win wouldn't really accomplish much.

<p>GHC Junior Heavyweight</p><p>

<strong>Dark EAGLE ©</strong> vs. Eagle Kawasawa</p><p>

<em>He is the champ, and the World Level just has a better Eagle man.</em></p><p> </p><p>

GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team</p><p>

<em>Personality takes this easily against the thrown together openers. Squash.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Shingen Miyazaki vs. <strong>Toshiharu Hyobanshi</strong></p><p>

<em>Hyobanshi is d@mn near unstoppable. Although I hope Shingen gets some direction and a return to his old alt lol (just one of my fav pics in the game) LOVE the 2K alt though!!! Very solid Nice Work jtla. One of you guys should post the Kuroki & Murkami alts on the blue CV background over in the thread. Whould be cool.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Toshiharu Hyobanshi </strong>vs. Takayuki 2000</p><p>

<em>Its is once again a return to the making of a monster as Hyobanshi continues gaining momentum on his way towards his matchup with Hall</em> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jimmy Cox</strong> vs. Rhino Umaga</p><p>

<em>Cox is still too over to lose the Rhino. </em></p><p> </p><p>

Awesome Thunder vs. <strong>Pistol Pete Hall</strong></p><p>

<em>I understand it is non-title but Hall losing doesn't build tension for a rematch really with Thunder as he is a talent trade so I believe Thunder and Hall put on a good matchup but Hall should be victor</em></p>

  • 2 weeks later...

Double post on both diaries.. I'm sorry to say but I'm feeling that this is the end for both diaries, CGC: The Decolt Tragedy and GCG: Global Honored Crown. I'm drawing blank on each save and diary and I have lost all my interest (and momentum) due to heavy workload (in real life) recent weeks. I thought that I could do it.. I couldn't.

I'm really sorry for this and this goes to every reader I've ever had, my apologies. The workload was just too much.. This isn't the first time I've done two diaries at once, eh. A tip for everyone: Don't do it. While it may seem like a good idea, it will drain you out in the end if you wan't to be as active as I would like to be. Following the recent revival of the Dynasty section I've also felt quite bad since I haven't been paying attention to most great diaries here and on the other hand I have felt that I wasn't concentrating enough on my own diaries. I wasn't doing the hard work needed for the diary.

CGC diary folded because of the entertainment aspect, one which I've never been that keen on in the end I think. It's tough for me to write entertainment wrestling. Sure I have crazy angles, goody gimmicks and characters but that's it. I'm not consistent enough. Not by a long shot. I will be posting the two final shows in some format and let you know the plans I had for DeColts.

GCG diary folded because I didn't plan it properly. The same goes to CGC I guess aswell. Movesets, gimmicks.. Everything was pretty live as I was writing. I didn't do the planning I should have done. I didn't characterise the wrestlers enough. I didn't do the stuff that the great writers do. I was lazy.

The last and maybe the most important reason for the end is.. (You may laugh at this point :p).. .. Is an upcoming idea of a new, different diary, which wouldn't limitate me as a writer as much as all these previous ones. It takes a lot of time to write each full show in English, even after all these diaries I've had. I'm also feeling slight embarrasement over this even though I know I shouldn't be. I just can't take the storylines, angles and such to a high level standard like all the other guys here. :o

The new diary will be much more.. "Me". It allows me to write much more freely and fun, off the top of my head, and I think that'll be much more for the reader aswell, as I'm not feeling so stressed out as storyline teller. No, I'm not starting with WEXXV is someone is thinking about that (My first diary, and probably the one I had most success with was with Warrior Engine). There will be matches reports, show reports and all the stuff befor and much, much more new stuff aswell. It's been on my mind for months actually, to tell you the truth.

One hint though.

It's not about present day Cornellverse.

It may not even be about Cornellverse. Could be Real World, could be historic mod, could be anything except Cornellverse 2008. :p I've had a lot of fun with the idea already and the writing is so different from anything I've ever done before. I think I have finally found a way suitable to my own ideas and diary writing which I can enjoy without burning out in the end. I don't want to rush it so it'll be a time off for me for a while from diary writing, and it's definately a good thing. I've been doing this promotion cycle too many times in such a short time and I have a feeling that all these diaries that weren't with WEXXV or BBW have failed misaribly.

Sunday, Week 2 of Jan

I had never seen such an ending to a wrestling show. Gareth Wayne's sloppyness increased the effect of the beating as he had probably been drinking that day. The few nasty hits that he did in that match and after were more brutal than what he had probably originally intended for but I guess that Ryu didn't really care. Ryu was still in the hospital because of his eyes and the broken nose, I didn't know how severe the eye injury was.

Here's the prediction list results, thanks guys for participating. I'm hoping that the next show will be even better.

5/5:
critical-23, FlameSnoopy DANGEROOUUUS~! (
:D
), MrOnu, smurphy1014,

4/5:
The Celt, randomfreeze, SeanMcFly, Apupunchau, Huntman

3/5
: praguepride, Wheelz316, Kingtutt, Bigpapa42, InfernalMIKO, TheKenwyne

Oh and the negotiations .. We signed all four workers. They'll be debuting in the next show!
