Tuesday Night War

Recommended Posts

I had been trying to find someone to do a multi player diary with this name. However kudos to the concept I'm surprised it took someone this long to this. I'll be keeping an eye on this. I'd like to see it get real nasty and vicious these two companies don't like each other and I really see this as a real nasty rivalry between these two companies.

Thats very cool actually. I like that. I think it would be hard to be unbiased playing the two promotions. I'd find myself almost subconciously favoring one over the other but I've been catching up on the Diary and its good so far. Its also cool we went from no TCW diaries to 2 1/2 seemingly overnight.

Yeah, and 2 of them are very, very good and should update soon.

*pokes zeel*

It is hard being unbiased, but try to roleplay Jack as trying not to purposely hurt his dad, while Papa Avatar is p'd and wants to crush all his kids.

??? defeated ??? - B

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/TotalWrestingcopy.jpg

((Now with theme songs))

Cornell and Keith are already in the ring as we start Total Wrestling. Cornell starts.

"Allow me to silence Eddie Peak once and for all. We let you in because I need people to beat on."

Keith smirks, "In fact the only reason TCW exists is because we need other wrestlers to fight. The Syndicate does not fight itself."

Cornell nods. "Tonight we shall take care of business yet again ..."

Cornell is cut off by Megadeath's Symphony of Destruction. Edd Peak walks to the top of the ramp and takes a mic.

"LIES! You let me in to wrestle. You told me I was ... good enough. You lied to me Tommy."

Peak grabs his hair.

"LIED!"

Peak stares at the ground a bit before continuing.

"I'm not fit for TCW. I'm not a technician. I beat people. I punch people. I make people suffer."

Cornell and Keith are at a lose for words as Peak stands there.

"There is no place for me in TCW, Tommy. Why did you let me in, Tommy"

Kamelot's Rule the World interupts Peak. As Golden strides out, Cornell explodes in anger.

"Oh for ... this is my time people! MINE!"

Golden smirks.

"Goooold!" The crowd mirrors the yell, and Cornell looks livid.

"Relax, Tommy, I'm just helping your business. Seems ever time you talk ratings drop. No one wants to listen to an egotistical tyrant go on and on."

Keith is the one who responds. "Ironic, why'd you come out here."

Golden stops for a second and feigns pain. "I'm not arrogant. I'm confident. The Golden Era is about to begin friends."

Cornell loses it. "I own this company, cut there damn microphone feeds. ... Good. Now, Peak, Golden. Go to the back. You both have matches against Syndicate members, so I would start training ... now"

B

Ariza: Peak needs help. He's lost it.

Rhodes: So has Golden, apparently.

After the two faces leave a video plays on the TotalTron. It shows various Syndicate members hitting finishers. Suddenly, with a loud violent unexpected noise, a guillotine is show snapping down, and the words "Not My Wrestling Gods" appear on the screen.

B

Ariza: Looks like someone doesn't like the Syndicate.

Rhodes: Not many do, Jay.

  • A good back and forth match.
  • Wolf gives Golden everything and more.
  • More than a few times it looks like Wolf is going to take Golden out.
  • Golden comes back though, and locks in the Rack.

Rocky Golden defeated Wolf Hawkins in 10:50 by submission with The Rack.

C+

Rhodes: A huge loss for Wolf, letting one slip away to an inferior opponent.

Ariza: Partner, if that opponent brings his A game in three weeks, we may have a new World Heavyweight champion!

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/WolfChallange2.jpg

  • A nice little filler match here.
  • Relaxes the crowd after all that excitement.
  • The Young Guns show great teamwork again.
  • Gumble gets the pin this week, over a badly outclassed Giant Tana.

The Young Guns defeated Danny Fonzarelli and Giant Tana and The Tag Team Specialists in 7:31 when Steve Gumble pinned Giant Tana

D+

Rhodes: Why even fight anymore, none of these guys can take Wolf.

Ariza: The Young Guns keep this roll going, they might stand a chance!

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/AaronAndrews.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/vs.jpg

Aaron Andrews vs. Sammy Bach ©

All Action Title

  • Wowzers, Aaron can perform.
  • May have to switch him to a face coming up.
  • Bach played the egotistical rocker well.
  • Beat Aaron around quickly and hit the Shot.

Sammy Bach defeated Aaron Andrews in 3:54 by pinfall with an Adrenaline Shot. Sammy Bach makes defence number 2 of his TCW All Action title.

C+

Ariza: Another win for that degenerate rocker Bach.

Rhodes: Judge not, Jay, lest ye be judged.

Ariza: Leave the bible gimmicks to the other company, partner.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/vs.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/KoshiroIno.jpg

Charlie Thatcher vs. Koshiro Ino

  • Punch
  • Punch
  • Stiff Kick
  • Kobra Bite
  • Three Count

Koshiro Ino defeated Charlie Thatcher in 2:47 by pinfall with a Kobra's Bite.

C-

Rhodes: Okay, that is a devastating move!

Ariza: Here's a little fact you may not know, Charlie Thatcher has never been beaten faster in TCW.

Edd Stone is in his actual factual party bus. He is playing DDR with Giant Tana, and looks a mixture of annoyed and perplexed. The giant windows are open, presumably to allow the stench of a giant bouncing samoan to exit the bus. However, it's not what exits thats important but what enters.

Jumping in through the window is Guide and Scout, the new wave. Scout grabs the PS2 and goes to hit Edd with it but Edd shouts "WAIT"

To Edd's surprise, the New Wave stop. He motions for Scout to put down the PS2, and when he does, he hands him a Gabecube.

Guide procedes to beat the crap out of Edd with the Gamecube, with parts flying out after each blow. Eventually, M.V.P.'s room door busts open with some floozies hastily covering up. Pain staggers out after the New Wave, but they are already out the window.

M.V.P., wearing only jeans and having lipstick all over his face and chest, glares at Tana, who did not stop DDRing the entire time. Tana simply shrugs while galloping through Exotic Ethnic as M.V.P. angrily returns to his room and slams the door. The camera focuses on the beaten Edd Stone, staring at the still working PS2, and smiling.

C

Rhodes: Backstage assualts! What is this company coming too?

Ariza: The way Stone runs his mouth, he had it coming to him.

  • Stone is still in a bad way.
  • Guide takes advantage, beating Edd early.
  • Edd heels out of a few jams with eye rakes and low blows.
  • Edd takes the Gamecube he brought to the ring and lines up for Guide's face.
  • Guide kicks it back in Edd's face!
  • Guided Missile!

Guide defeated Edd Stone in 7:47 by pinfall with a Guided Missile.

B-

Rhodes: Guide wins with an assist to Nintendo.

Ariza: I've don't think we've ever seen anything like that, partner.

  • A wild brawler vs. a technician
  • Hill tried to keep things slow, but lost patience.
  • That gave Peak his opportunity to strike.
  • Keith attacks, but Peak ducks!
  • Cornell attacks, but Peak boots him away!
  • Peak of Perfection
  • Hill's attempt at redemption falls short!

Eddie Peak defeated Brent Hill in 11:38 by pinfall with a Peak Of Perfection. During the match we also saw Tommy Cornell run in and attack Eddie Peak, and Sam Keith also attack Eddie Peak.

B-

Rhodes: Mr. Cornell's not going to be happy with Brent for that.

Ariza: Peak takes a big step towards proving he belonged.

John Anderson vs. Ricky Dale Johnson

  • RDJ is so popular with the fans!
  • He seemed off today.
  • Anderson, however, was locked in.
  • Keith and Cornell stick around to run distraction and help Anderson.
  • He hit an early Ammo Dump, to only a two count.
  • However, with help, he quickly hit a second Ammo Dump and RDJ didn't kick out.

John Anderson defeated Ricky Dale Johnson in 7:46 by pinfall with an Ammo Dump. During the match we also saw Tommy Cornell run in and attack RDJ, and Sam Keith also attack RDJ.

B-

Rhodes: What a win! What a win for John Anderson!

Ariza: With only a small assist to the Syndicate...

  • Two fantastic technicians.
  • It's a shame about the lack of chemestry.
  • You hardly ever see Keith botch a move, but it happened.
  • Minnesota ad libbed, which aggravated Keith.
  • The rest of the match went a bit sour, until the ending.
  • Keith was almost caught in an Empire Spiral, only to use his weight to bring Minnesota to the ground.
  • A quick tap from Joey after the Proton Lock is applied.

Sam Keith defeated Joey Minnesota in 14:56 by submission with a Proton Lock.

B

Ariza: An impressive performance by Minnesota, only to sadly fall short.

Rhodes: When Keith locks in the Proton Lock, Hoboy.

Rick Law walks to the ring ready to fight!

"Tommy Cornell, the most dispiciable of all the hooligans in this crime infested company, I challange you. I challange you for your belt, and I challange you now!"

C+

Cornell walks out nodding.

"Good, I thought I was going to be bored backstage and have to sit through another Tyson Baine or Genghis Rahn match. You got your match kid, anything to keep those two off of TV."

B

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/vs.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/TommyCornell_alt1.jpg

Rick Law vs. Tommy Cornell

World Heavyweight Title

  • Law gave Cornell more than he expected.
  • For a bit of time around the 11 minute mark it looked like Law might win.
  • He hit the Long Arm of the Law.
  • He got greed though.
  • He tried for a Strong Arm Tactic.
  • Cornell reversed it and landed a big suplex.
  • It was all downhill for Law, leading to a Guilt Trip.

Tommy Cornell defeated Rick Law in 17:43 by submission with a Guilt Trip. Tommy Cornell makes defence number 1 of his TCW World Heavyweight title.

B-

The video plays again. It shows various Syndicate members hitting finishers. Suddenly, with a loud violent unexpected noise, a guillotine is show snapping down, and the words "Not My Wrestling Gods" appear on the screen.

He walked gingerly to the backstage locker room. Joel had actually gotten the Grand Avatar, a small touch of irony.

Everything seemed normal, that is until Sam Sparrow showed up.

"I ****ing quit!"

Evenly Avatar answered, "Now, Sam, why?"

"Apparently, without Joel as Head Booker, your boys think they can do what they want. Finch there took my clothes and made me run buck *** naked after him."

He sighed. High school crap has acceptable in the indies, but this was the big leagues now.

"FINCH!"

Scout walked over, eye paint half washed off.

"FINCH, what the hell were you thinking?"

He starts to answer.

"Any answer you have isn't good enough. Apologize, and if this happens again you'll be suspended."

He sighs. "Fine." With a nod, looks over to Sam. "I'll try to be more considerate in the future."

The Grand Avatar hobbled away from the locker room hoping to not have to do this again for a while.

That Party Bus segment...amazing.

Thanks. I chuckled while writing it. Hopefully, Party Bus's personalities will come out a bit more. Greatest part is both M.V.P. and Edd Stone jumped from lower midcard to midcard, making there fued with New Wave a bit more credable.

Show's written, hopeful'll get posted tommorrow, if I'm super lucky tonight.

Bart Biggz vs. Bret Biggz

Bart's just the better worker.

Groucho Bling vs. Joe Sexy

Joe Sexy doesn't get his heat from winning matches. He gets it from being better with the ladies than everybody else.

Andre Jones vs. Eric Eisen

Eww... Squishy.... Sorry, that's squashy.

Christian Faith vs. Squeeky McClean

Faith grabs his momentum back, getting ready for Rich Money.

Jack Giedroyc and Lobster Warrior vs. Runaway Train and Vengeance

Taking on one of these monsters is a tall order. Taking on two is suicide.

The Almighty Dollar vs. Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley

Bruce isn't going down to the Almighty Dollar, two weeks in a row. I see the Dollar getting frustrated, and grabbing some toys, causing the DQ. Remo sounds like a good choice for #1 Contender, to me, although Frehley could be, on the swerve.

Brandon James defeated ??? - C+

Marc DuBois defeated Robbie Retro - C-

Michaels: Folks, welcome to Virginia Park Fields and another top notch episode of Supreme TV!

Garcia: Tonight Commissioner Money is going to end the speculation and name the #1 contender.

Fry: I wonder who it'll be...

Rich Money comes out, and the crowd lets him hear it.

"I'm not one to tell others what to do ... oh wait, yes I am. Shut the hell up!"

The boos get louder.

"Fine, morons, don't listen when Money talks. I know someone who'll want to..."

With the the crowd pops as Jack Bruce's music starts up. He strides out and to the ring, getting up in Money's face.

"Baybay, I'm Jack Bruce! I don't listen to Richard Eisen, Eric Eisen, Tommy Cornell, President Bush or even ... you. Commissioner Money."

Money smirks, "Well, "Baybay", your future lies in my gorgeous hands. Perhaps you should care."

Bruce makes a motion for Money to get on with it.

"At When Hell Freezes Over, Jack Bruce will face REMO!"

B

The crowd is none too pleased with this, but Bruce seems almost happy as Remo makes his way to the ring, making the stereotypical belt motions. His entrance music is soon interrupted by Christian Faith's and the pops get louder as Faith appears on the ramp. He is clapping mockingly while looking directly at Money.

"Good job, good job Richy. Way to be unbiased and look at all the facts avaliable."

Money smirks, "You got a problem with it, Faith?"

Faith shakes his head. No, he doesn't have a problem with it aparantly. "Not me. Him."

Out comes Steve Frehley pointing at Bruce, pointing at Money and pointing at Remo. His point is obvious, that he should be number 1 contender!

B+

Fry: A lot of strong opinions by our Supreme Superstars.

Michaels: I miss the days when contenderships were earned, not given.

Garcia: Fellas, Money's still in the ring.

Money is in fact still in the ring.

"Now folks, I do want to apologize. You see, with me becoming Commissioner I become a "person of power" here at SWF Incorporated. The rules are pretty firm 'No persons of power may hold a title'. So it looks like the Money Era of the North American belt is over. I have, however, started a tournament, the Money Tournament. Winner gets my old belt. Two matches tonight go towards that tournament, with Bart Biggz facing Bret Biggz and Groucho Bling facing Joe Sexy. Now that, ladies and gentlemen ... is money!"

B+

Garcia: My notes here say Elmo Benson and Enforcer Roberts will be in the tournament as well.

Fry: What the - how'd you get those notes?

Garcia: I know some people.

%5Bvs%5D%5Bimg%5D
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/vs.jpg

Bart Biggz vs. Bret Biggz

  • What's red, green, purple and squashed all over?
  • Bret Biggz!
  • Maybe a few years ago this'd be good TV...
  • Bart wins easily.

Bart Biggz defeated Brett Biggz in 5:31 by pinfall with a Biggz Up.

D

Michaels: Bart's the better brother tonight.

Fry: More importantly, he moves on to the next round. Anything in your notes about who he'll face?

Garcia: Enforcer Roberts, Fry.

A video plays, showcasing the Money - Faith fued. At the end it says "Sunday! When Hell Freezes Over!"

B+

Fry: What a showdown to come!

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/AndreJones.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/vs.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/EricEisen.jpg

Andre Jones vs. Eric Eisen

  • Once again Eisen uses minimal cheating.
  • Andre is relativly unknown, so some rally behind him even though he's a heel.
  • Eisen puts it away with a Shock.

Eric Eisen defeated Andre Jones in 4:10 by pinfall with a Silver Spoon Shock.

C

Garica: He didn't even need to cheat!

Michales: Eisen seems to be sizing up young Andre, looking him over.

Fry: But he just walks away. Weird.

Backstage, Groucho's getting ready for his match. Elmo walks up.

"Ready?"

Groucho smiles. "Always ready to perform. Always ready to get mother ****ing high!"

The two touch fists and a fired up Bling makes his way to the ring.

C+

Garcia: No one's told these idiots the alternate meaning of getting high yet?

Fry: But Anna, the fans love it when Elmo and Groucho get high!

Michaels: They love to get high with them, Anna.

  • Good styles mesh matchup.
  • Sexy played to the crowd a lot, allowing Groucho the time he needed to set up big move after big move.
  • After hitting a diving plancha Bling rolls Sexy into the ring.
  • Bling Thing!

Groucho Bling defeated Joe Sexy in 5:52 by pinfall with a Bling Thing.

C

Garcia: Joe! No!

Michaels: What a decisive victory for Bling!

Fry: He seemed a bit more focused today, and will face Elmo at When Hell Freezes Over in the next round!

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/MNW/vs.jpg

Jack Giedroyc and Lobster Warrior vs. Runaway Train and Vengeance

  • Warrior is fired up, knowing what the task at hand is!
  • He starts beating Train around, proving he can hang with the Train.
  • When Train tags in Vengeance, things go downhill fast.
  • Vengeance runs Warrior around, tiring him out.
  • Giedroyc tags in, but he is no match for Vengeance.

Vengeance and Runaway Train defeated Lobster Warrior and Jack Giedroyc in 9:38 when Vengeance defeated Jack Giedroyc by pinfall with a Skull Krusher.

B

Michaels: Mah Lord! Vengeance is focused!

Fry: Look out!

After the match, Vengeance walks over and double handed chokeslams Warrior. Silently he whispers, almost inaudible to our microphones.

"Stop joking around, Chris. Your jokes are your sins, and I am your Vengeance!"

B+

Garcia: I have never agreed more with a man than right now.

Michaels: Vengeance has chosen his new victem, and it's Lobster Warrior.

Once again we are treated to the Steve Frehley Tour of Destruction 2008 video.

B+

The Almight Dollar vs. Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley

  • What a match!
  • Frehley dominates Money and Remo in the early going.
  • It's obvious he's mad at being slighted.
  • After he tags in Bruce, Frehley is chairshoted by Angry Gilmore!
  • As Michaels goes crazy for the return of Gilmore, Frehley chases him down.
  • Bruce is able to keep the upper hand, however Money and Remo quick tag to rest up.
  • Remo hits the Destroyer for the second time is as many weeks!

The Almighty Dollar defeated Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce in 16:27 when Remo defeated Jack Bruce by pinfall with The Destroyer.

B+

Michaels: Mah Lawd! Gilmore's returned!

Gilmore continues his assault on a helpless Frehley, before returning to the back.

B

Meanwhile, Remo takes out Jack Bruce again, who was gingerly getting up, with another Destroyer. Out comes Christian Faith for the save, but Money chair shots him from behind, and rolls him into the ring. Dollars from Heaven! Remo and Money stand victorious over there WHFO opponents.

I tuned in expecting an AfroMan run in and debut, am I the only one a little disappointed :p

Seriously though good show, has to be John Andersons biggest win to date. I like the way you're using the Syndicate building them into that nWo Wolfpack type heel group you just can't wait to see get their asses handed to them.

I definitely view the Syndicate as a power stable like the Wolfpack, or even the four horsemen. Also AFRO is in development jobbing to Kentucky Bill. Bwahahahaha!

I don't have a clue who it is and I hate Jack Giedroyc but I see them winning. Maybe a Frederique face turn.

Brandon James vs. Enygma

Even if you want him to lose, creative control won't allow it.

Benson/Bling vs. Biggz/Roberts - SWF North American

Groucho Bling with the win/Elmo with the heel turn

Enforcer Roberts vs. Bart Biggz

Setting up the Roberts/Bling match and fued.

Elmo Benson vs. Groucho Bling

I don't think you have much face in Elmo, basing off your 2 on 1 match the first week of Jan.

Amazing Bumfholes © vs. Samoan Wildboyz - SWF World Tag Team

Wildboyz don't have much build up.

Marc DuBois © vs. Paul Huntingdon - SWF Shooting Star

The can't miss prospect isn't ready for the loss.

Steve Frehley vs. Robbie Retro

Even with Gilmore attacking, Frehley picks up the victory, maybe setting up a Gilmore/Retro match before the big one between Tom and Steve.

Jack Bruce © vs. Remo - SWF World Heavyweight

Bruce has taken two straight falls to Remo. Either he's getting jobbed out the door, which doesn't make any sense, or he's going to get his revenge here. Besides, Remo isn't championship material. Not until he has an actual character.

Rich Money vs. Christian Faith

Rich Money is a fantastic authority figure, and I don't see him losing it, until he's ready to move on to the big belt (since he can't do both, which is a fantastic rule).

Lobster Warrior vs. Vengeance

This has some legs to it. I'm giving round one to Vengeance, but he won't be satisfied until we don't see the costume again.

Eric Eisen and Runaway Train vs. Jack Giedroyc and ???

Mystery partner or not, I love the team of Eisen & Train. These two had so much history, in my 2005 SWF game, that I mark out for them. Giedroyc has an awkward name. For this reason, I've never been able to take him seriously.

Brandon James vs. Enygma

No build here, so there's nothing to go on, other than the creative control, and talent. Enygma loses both of those games.

Benson/Bling vs. Biggz/Roberts - SWF North American

Enforcer Roberts vs. Bart Biggz

Elmo Benson vs. Groucho Bling

Honestly, who doesn't mark for Roberts? He's the only heel here, and I really don't see either of the Sesame Street Brigade turning. If one was, I'd guess Groucho Bling, just because Oscar is MUCH cooler than Elmo.

Amazing Bumfholes © vs. Samoan Wildboyz - SWF World Tag Team

The Bumfholes are rediculously good, and Kid Toma is someone that I'm not a fan of.

Marc DuBois © vs. Paul Huntingdon - SWF Shooting Star

I REALLY dislike DuBois as the Shooting Star champion. He always seemed like someone that would bypass this title, and go straight to the North American title scene. Anyway, Huntingdon isn't in his league.

Steve Frehley vs. Robbie Retro

Retro doesn't stand a chance, even with Gilmore interfering. This could be a DQ.
