Art Reed w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins (non-title)

That non-title makes me think that Reed has a shot here but he haven´t done much winning lately so I´m little doubtful about his changes here.

British Lions w/ Laura Huggins vs. Tooth & Claw

British Lions are risnig team while Tooth & Claw are still pure jobbers

Elite Express vs. The New Wave

There are very few teams who I could see going over New Wave and Express isn´t one of them.

Kate Dangerous vs. Tamara McFly (non-title)

not sure about this one it could go same way than with Makuda but when I doubt I usually go with the champ so let´s do that here.

Champagne Lover vs. Tommy Cornell

Cornell isn´t going to lose here

Jack Bruce & the Enforcers vs. Troy Tornado & the Young Guns

interesting to see Enforcers staying together, I actually didn´t expect that. If i have understanded things right, Marlowe is more over than Watson and likely more over than Young Guns so I´d say that he´s the difference maker here.

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell (non-title)

It´s not yet time for DWN to get a win this big.

The Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Remo Richardson & Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert (non-title)

Keith Brothers are good and all but they aren´t yet on the same level than their opponents and that non-title pretty much confirms that they aren´t winning this one.

Art Reed w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins (non-title)

Went back and forth on this a little, but when in doubt, go with the champ.

British Lions w/ Laura Huggins vs. Tooth & Claw

Lions are finally getting something behind them.

Elite Express vs. The New Wave

Time to begin getting the Wave back in the limelight, perhaps?

Kate Dangerous vs. Tamara McFly (non-title)

Tamara's good, but I don't think she's beating the champ on her debut.

Champagne Lover vs. Tommy Cornell

I anticipate a great grade, but Lover isn't winning much right now and, with Rocky lurking in the background, I don't think that's going to improve here.

Jack Bruce & the Enforcers vs. Troy Tornado & the Young Guns

Enforcers are better backup than the guns, and Bach has got to be somewhere around.

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell (non-title)

Noooooot yet, DWN.

The Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Remo Richardson & Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert (non-title)

I'm going to call no contest (yeah, another draw!) simply because the new champs losing in tag team action the show after they won the titles strikes me as... wrong. Yet, Hawkins and Remo? Generation Omega? They're not going down right now. Draw through MASSIVE INTERFERANCE.

Art Reed w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins (non-title)

Let's be a bit different - this might be the start of a renewed push for Art Reed, a man whi's been in a bad situation lately.

British Lions w/ Laura Huggins vs. Tooth & Claw

JOBBERS!

Elite Express vs. The New Wave

In terms of sheer quality, I'd go for the Wave. In terms of building up Heel challengers for Face champions, I'll go for the EE.

Kate Dangerous vs. Tamara McFly (non-title)

This is not 1PWfan's NYCW; Tammy can be beaten.

Champagne Lover vs. Tommy Cornell

Champagne Lover continues to lose his way to the top.

Jack Bruce & the Enforcers vs. Troy Tornado & the Young Guns

But inconclusively - one of the Enforcers eats the pin. The champ may not even be involved in the finish.

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell (non-title)

Not yet, Davey. You set yourself a timer, remember?

The Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Remo Richardson & Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert (non-title)

Draw. Because there's no way the new champs get kicked in their first show, and there's no way Remo and Wolf get jobbed.

Art Reed w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins (non-title)

Better to keep Tyler looking strong as champ at this moment in time, than trying to revive some life into Art Reed's flagging career.

British Lions w/ Laura Huggins vs. Tooth & Claw

The Lions have become somewhat forgotten men in the last few weeks, following that period where they broke through, I don't see you tearing up that push completely by having them lose to the Masked Jobbers.

Elite Express vs. The New Wave

The New Wave are too good to become Tag Division also rans, but they are in danger of becoming that, so I think the slide halts here.

Kate Dangerous vs. Tamara McFly (non-title)

McFly will impress but won't upset the champ on her debut, you've already done the upset non title win with Makuda.

Champagne Lover vs. Tommy Cornell

Like others said this will be another glorious defeat for Champagne Lover.

Jack Bruce & the Enforcers vs. Troy Tornado & the Young Guns

Better to keep the heels looking strong in this one, so one of the Not So Young Guns eats the pin.

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell (non-title)

Maybe one day for Newton, but it would be dumb to put him over the World Champion right now, not only would it make Bloodstone look weak it would also make Newton's stable mate and Bloodstone's recent World Title challenger Marc DuBois also look weak.

The Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Remo Richardson & Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert (non-title)

The Non title stip gives this one away, Remo & Wolf are main event talents part of the hot new stable in TCW and they always trump the Tag champs.

Art Reed w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins (non-title)

You know, this is the kind of title Art Reed SHOULD be fighting for. He's got connections, let him go for it. Of course, I really imagine Tyler losing the title to someone a little less old-school... it's tough to say Reed doesn't respect tradition. Still.

British Lions w/ Laura Huggins vs. Tooth & Claw

Lions are still as surprisingly over as they were, and of course you know they can put on a great match.

Elite Express vs. The New Wave

Elite Express aren't quite as jobby as Tooth and Claw, but the New Wave's overness is way more established than the Lions'.

Kate Dangerous vs. Tamara McFly (non-title)

Ah, here's a worthy challenger.

Champagne Lover vs. Tommy Cornell

Even now, Cornell still goes over this guy.

Jack Bruce & the Enforcers vs. Troy Tornado & the Young Guns - DRAW

Wow, these dudes are really investing in solid tag team backup. NOT.

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell (non-title)

I'd believe this for virtually any of the other Omegas... but we know when DWN is a contender, and we know it's not yet.

The Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Remo Richardson & Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert (non-title)

By DQ.

Art Reed w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins (non-title)

- Reed is not the man to dethrone Tyler no matter how traditional his training, he's got dreadlocks! That's not alright with Tyler.

British Lions w/ Laura Huggins vs. Tooth & Claw

- Two claws top one claw and one tooth.

Elite Express vs. The New Wave

- I never vote against the New Wave, although I'd like to here since I did the Express.

Kate Dangerous vs. Tamara McFly (non-title)

- Pretty Fly for a McWhite girl.

Champagne Lover vs. Tommy Cornell

- Well if Edd can't top Tommy, I can't see CL being the one to step up and knock him down. If Champagne wins, Tommy deports him and rips up his work visa!

Jack Bruce & the Enforcers vs. Troy Tornado & the Young Guns

- Bruce enjoys better allies.

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell (non-title)

- DWN is the least known (I think) of the Omega Men so he can do the job here. Or, hilariously DuBois just got a demotion after his recent failings against DWN.

The Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Remo Richardson & Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert (non-title)

- By DQ when Generation Omega make a 'statement'. That statement being how many ways can we pummel Keith's kids.

Art Reed w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins

The crowd simply loved this one. Once again, no interference from the School of Tradition, just Eric Tyler pulling out all the stops against a strong, talented opponent.

Tyler has to work hard, too; Reed shows himself to be every bit Eric's equal, and faster, too. The bout builds and builds, but as Reed goes for the Dread Lock -

Well, a replay will show a low blow, followed by the quick roll-up that scored the pinfall. But you have to give Eric Tyler this; it's hard to criticise Ray Johnson for not seeing it, the way he executed it.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/EricTyler.jpg

Eric Tyler takes the microphone immediately afterward. “Alright,” he says. “Everyone's got their polls going on, and I've been thinking, long and hard.

“The International Championship will be on the line against whoever the fans pick who doesn't have something else on their plate.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/MayhemMidden.jpg

Shout At the Devil hits, and with it, Mayhem Midden comes out, microphone in hand and a smirk on his lips. “Smart, Eric,” he says. “Real smart. Let's see if I can unpick your thinking here.

“Remo's out. Wolf's out. Tommy's out. RDJ and Sam Keith are out. Khoklov's busy. Dubois is out. Perez is out. Deeley and Stone are out. Aaron Andrews you might have to deal with anyway, but you know you can't change that. Minnesota's out. You're probably expecting Sammy Bach to take a bunch of people off your hands.

“So many of the big threats are going to be busy... and you figure if you throw out an open challenge, you look like a badass but you don't have to worry too much.”

Tyler's face is leathery and impassive as always, but behind him, Laura Huggins smirks slightly.

“Well, it's not a bad plan,” Midden continues. “But let me just name a few people who aren't tied down yet, just off the top of my head...” He holds up his three hand, counting them off. “Koshiro Ino is free. Brent Hill is free. John Anderson... their buddy Marc Speed, too, and he hasn't had a match yet. What a debut beating you would be, eh?

“Oh, and something else, Eric... Best of my knowledge, Rick Law's free that night too.”

Laura Huggins has paled, but you really wouldn't want to play poker with Eric Tyler.

British Lions w/ Laura Huggins vs. Tooth & Claw

After the intensity of the opener and first interview, this match does seem something of a let-down. Still... it's not horrible, and Tooth & Claw do put up quite a good fight, but they can't get the crowd behind them.

The Lions don't so much control the match as just maul. It's O'Curle who finishes it, snatching American Eagle to the mat and applying the Celtic Wreath even before Eagle lands from his missed dropkick.

Elite Express vs. New Wave

The Wave look uncertain going into this contest. Azaria notes that it's been some time since they were regular features on TCW broadcasts, and that they lost to the dethroned champions last week – and the Elite Express, taking one look at their opponents, light up.

That sets the tone, ultimately. One team is demoralised. The other – a team Azaria has constistently highlighted the pedigree of – senses blood in the water, and the result is hard-fought excellence, with the Wave slowly starting to falter over the match as more and more of the Express' tactics begin to work.

Eventually the Express score with the Precision Driller, driving Scout into the mat hard. Nate Johnson makes the cover to pick up the win.

“Come Fight to the Feedback, Sean, you will be tapping out. Maybe your girlfriend won't be there to save you. Maybe you'll have to tap twice. Maybe you'll just have no other option.

“Whatever the fans want, Sean, whatever they choose... you lose.”

Kate Dangerous vs. Tamara McFly

Not as well received as the Makuda series, this, but nonetheless both women put in entertaining enough performances. With greater crowd support, these contests could become TCW classics.

As it is, however, the champion remains strong, forcing Tamara to submit to the Danger Zone.

Champagne Lover vs. Tommy Cornell

While admittedly this pair can't quite sync up as well as either man does against other opponents, this is still a stellar contest. Cornell has a surprising amount of trouble with Champagne Lover, who seems to very much be wrestling from the assumption that he's Cornell's equal and is pulling out some remarkable moves and sequences to get the upper hand.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/RockyGolden_PS2.jpg

The result becomes a stalemate – until Rocky Golden appears on the big screen, watching. Lover hesitates and Cornell takes him down then twists him into the Guilt Trip, all the while facing him toward the screen as Rocky Golden smiles.

Shout At the Devil plays for the second time of the night and Midden re-emerges, backed up by Charlie Thatcher as the two strut down to the ring. “Sammy Bach,” he says, “come out to the ring please.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/SammyBach_alt1.jpg

Bach emerges in his own good time, the Hard-Hitting Championship belt snugly around his waist. He looks a little wary.

“I know you've got to have been wondering, Sammy,” Midden continues. “All that talk about two championship vote announcements tonight, and Frankie tied up in a different vote, Johnny's already settled, the tag champions so new they probably haven't worked out what they want... When Kate's match went past and she made no announcement, it's got to have occurred to you to wonder.

“Thing is, Sammy... You didn't come to me, you didn't speak to me, you raised no questions, no queries, and no objections.

“But other people did. I've got three challengers for you this month, Sammy...

“Texas Pete, still angry after you butted into his own shots at your belt. He tells me half the reason he's been absent lately is that he's been training again, getting ready, getting psyched.

“He tells me he doesn't expect the fans to support him, but if they do, he's ready.

“So that's one. Number two is a man who you've been messing with lately. Number two is a man whose enemy you seem to be best buds with. Most of all, number two is a former World Heavyweight Champion... Troy Tornado!

“But number three... Number three is a special case. I thought I'd let Eddie Peak explain himself, because after your match at The War To Settle The Score, he had some things to suggest.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/EddiePeak.jpg

Crashing Around You plays and Sammy Bach becomes very worried – his route back to the dressing room has been cut off. Eddie Peak stands there and grins. “You have something I want, little Sammy,” he offers, his voice halfway between a growl and a purr. His hand comes up, the sharpened thumbnail ripping his shirt diagonally open as has become something of a trademark. “But I will not take it... yet. I have a little present for you, Little Sammy.

“I have made a choice, a choice these people should vote for. My little choice... my little present...

“You have crossed me, Little Sammy, and so has your friend Jackie...

“I think you two must fight one another, Little Sammy.”

Troy Tornado & the Young Guns

Not a great match by Bruce and Tornado's standards, but the teams alongside them are struggling to gain much in the way of fan support right now.

Bruce has his Enforcers and the three seem to be working well together, but Tornado and the Guns present an entirely united front, working as a three-man unit, and that does slowly begin to present difficulties for Bruce's side. Slowly but surely, the trio turn the tide, wrapping it up when the Guns take Jack Bruce down with a Blitzkrieg Bop after Tornado landed the Star Maker on Julian Watson for the pin.

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell

The bell rings; Bloodstone and Newton circle one another once, twice, then close to the lock up -

It could be argued that the ensuing six minutes of action is essentially one long counter; they never quite break contact again, and the action absolutely flows back and forth as the two demonstrate absolutely perfect timing against one another.

Finally, however, Bloodstone finds a way to transition through into the Bloodstone Mutilation, and Newton is left without a counter, tapping swiftly to protect himself.

The Blonde Bombshell enters the ring with a microphone to hand. She passes it to Bloodstone as he collects his breath and gets himself back together, before he speaks.

“This is a message for Tommy Cornell,” he says. “You know... Back in the second half of last year, back when the Syndicate was just starting to have trouble, you kicked Sam Keith to the kerb and we had to pick him up.

“But you didn't stop there – you were out for blood. I remember that Troy Tornado actually called you out for insisting that you beating Sam down be made the main event over the World Heavyweight Championship. And I remember thinking... you know... Troy, it's just one night.

“But it wasn't, was it? Because once again you aren't the champion. And once again your problems are taking centre stage. Once again your match takes precedence.

“Mayhem Midden's done his best to cover for what you might have let me in for, and even if he hadn't I intend to get through it anyway. But you are going to end up in trouble soon, if you keep screwing with Generation Omega – and you're messing with my career. So when you come crawling to anyone you can find to help you – cross me the hell off your list.”

Remo Richardson & Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert

The young men get to show exactly why they've been given the main event on TCW's flagship broadcast here, running great guns across the match. There's a while where the Keiths even look like they're going to hold their own against the Generation Omega boys – and what changes that isn't Generation Omega, or even Phil Vibert.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/GreaseHogg.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/LeadBelly.jpg

No, after Greg vaults over a Remo spear, leaving Sam Sparrow in the big man's path, the Easy Riders arrive, baseball bats in hand, and the Keiths are left laying by an assault from behind. Hawkins and Remo just exchange smirks, not moving to act at all.

As Sparrow revives, Hawkins covers Matthew Keith, making sure to hook the injured leg for extra leverage.

I hope this New Wave slump is heading somewhere good and that they've not just been reduced to Tag Division also-rans, there to put every other tag team going over. At this rate Tooth & Claw might even have a chance :p

Christ, no.

But the problem with the New Wave at any given point where they're not champions or challengers is explaining why not.

So yeah, this will be going somewhere over the next couple of months.

We're promised that today will see the announcement of the stipulation fans can vote on for the tag team championship match at Fight to the Feedback. With new champions eager to make their mark, that one should be interesting.

In terms of matches, Saturday Night Showcase kicks off this week with a contest between Sean Deeley and Champagne Lover. Lover's TCW rise has been extremely rapid, but Deeley has proven himself an intuitive, intelligent grappler - this one really could go either way. And with both men having existing issues with other wrestlers who've been known to get involved, we can only hope they'll have a chance to show what they can do.

Barry Kingman, of the Conquering Kings, faces quite literally the biggest challenge of his career; he's been assigned a solo match against the Russian Giant, Marat Khoklov. Can Kingman shock the world?

Kate Dangerous returns to your screens in non-title action tonight, too; this time, she once again faces 'Superstar' Stephanie Wade. Wade took her to the limit before; with the champion starting to show the first cracks in her armour, can Wade capitalise to stake a claim for a title match?

Edd Stone will be seeking to impress this week against a man who hopes recent decisions have revitalised his wrestling training; the former Hell Monkey now goes by the name of Thunder Snake, and he will be looking for a breakthrough victory tonight. With two of the least predictable aerialists in wrestling going up against each other, we're sure this is going to be an innovative contest...

Generation Omega look to continue their march forward; Wolf Hawkins demanded a match against Sam Keith, looking, we assume, to prove a point about the end of the Syndicate. Either way, a better example of the youth against experience paradigm you're not likely to find.

And then there's our main event. Recent allies Jack Bruce and Sammy Bach will have their hands full tonight; they're facing down Troy Tornado and Rick Law. Can the Total Lawman and the Triple-Threat Champion strike a blow in this battle of the bands, or will Showtime play on?

Prediction Key:

Champagne Lover vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins

Barry Kingman w/ Alanis Springsteen vs. Marat Khoklov

Kate Dangerous vs. Stephanie Wade (non-title)

Edd Stone vs. Thunder Snake w/ Baroness Emily

Sam Keith w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert

Jack Bruce & Sammy Bach vs. Rick Law & Troy Tornado

Champagne Lover vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins

Lover has been impressive but as far as I can see he does not have a big match lined up for Fight For The Feedback, where as Deeley is set to face Jeremy Stone, so I think Deeley would more beneficial of the win here.

Barry Kingman w/ Alanis Springsteen vs. Marat Khoklov

I fear for Kingman's health

Kate Dangerous vs. Stephanie Wade (non-title)

I'll tip the champ to edge this one out.

Edd Stone vs. Thunder Snake w/ Baroness Emily

Thunder Snake to make a strong impact by getting the win.

Sam Keith w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert

Could go either way, so I'll be a total cop out and tip some kind of draw. Had this been on PPV then I would have settled for a winner.

Jack Bruce & Sammy Bach vs. Rick Law & Troy Tornado

Another hard to call coinflip, but I'll tip the heels for this one.

Champagne Lover vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins

Deeley has a match against Jeremy coming while Lover currently isn´t on the whole PPV so Deeley wins.

Barry Kingman w/ Alanis Springsteen vs. Marat Khoklov

Squash

Kate Dangerous vs. Stephanie Wade (non-title)

No idea if Wade has what it takes here but since this is non-title and Kate is pretty often seen in women matches anyway a loss here would give an opportunity for a title match.

Edd Stone vs. Thunder Snake w/ Baroness Emily

Few shows ago I would have go with Edd but right now Thunder Snake has more going on while Edd tries to find direction after Synticate was killed.

Sam Keith w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Wolf Hawkins w/ Phil Vibert

Hawkins is one of the top guys on new dominant stable while Keith starts to get there on age so younger guy takes the win here unless this will become a longer feud between these two.

Jack Bruce & Sammy Bach vs. Rick Law & Troy Tornado

Could go either way but i still see Tornado as the best from these four so i go with him and Law here.

Champagne Lover vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins

There's a really entertaining match getting started here; Deeley and the Lover concentrate on the matwork, with occasional outbreaks of speed and grace on Lover's part to pep it up.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/JeremyStone.jpg

It was only ever going to be a matter of time before Jeremy Stone arrived, though, sliding under the ropes and heading straight for Sean Deeley. With Eugene Williams threatening disqualification, Lover gets in the way, and Stone shoves him aside before charging Deeley.

Rocky Golden is in the ring a moment later, hitting Stone with a lariat before pouncing on Champagne Lover. In disgust, Eugene Williams throws the match out.

The next thing the fans know, Charlie Thatcher crashes the brawl. Characteristically equipped with brass knuckles, he takes down Champagne Lover, then Rocky Golden, then Jeremy Stone with a single punch each; Lover is left bleeding.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/MayhemMidden.jpg

“Now that I have you gentlemen's attention...” Mayhem Midden offers from the top of the ramp.

“My job, as you all should know, is to make sure that TCW always produces action worth paying for. At the moment, however, what I have in you four is four exceptional talents who can't produce on top level due to these clashes... but I think I've found a temporary solution, at least for tonight.

“Golden, you're with Deeley. Stone, you're with Lover. A tag match starts the moment Charlie leaves the ring. Get to it.” He grins. “Let's see you interfere from the outside now, boys.”

Champagne Lover & Jeremy Stone vs. Rocky Golden & Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins

Swiftly, the crowd pick up their enthusiasm again as Thatcher exits the ring, stepping over the top rope. Lover takes the opportunity to nail Golden with a low blow before the bell officially rings, and tries for the Lover Stunner as it does – but Golden somehow manages to react in time to counter, lifting him instead onto his shoulders for the Rack.

Deeley demands to be tagged in, and Golden obliges. As the young technician heads for Champagne Lover, the Mexican rallies, popping up with a dropkick, and the two explode into action before Deeley, at length, corners his opponent – and, after a snap suplex, turns to lock eyes with Jeremy Stone before deliberately applying the Stone Hold.

That brings Stone in, breaking up the hold before scoring with the Stone's Throw. Golden charges him and gets a Stone's Throw of his own – though to everyone's surprise, but apparently particularly to his own, he lands on his feet, not his back, and brings the veteran down with a discus elbow.

Lover, recovered, comes off the top rope with a Champagne Sunrise, but Golden ducks it, rolling through to once again block Williams' view, and delivers the Rocky Road, making the cover immediately afterward. Stone crawls to intercept, but Sean Deeley catches him in a Stone Ankle Stretch to add insult to injury, keeping him out of reach.

Barry Kingman w/ Alanis Springsteen vs. Marat Khoklov

Springsteen retains her announcer's headset during this match, pacing back and forth on the outside.

This is mostly precisely what you might expect from Khoklov – Kingman is devastated, really, over the course of the six minutes – but there's a brief period where Springsteen can be forgiven for getting excited, as Kingman catches the Giant's huge hand and starts to show him something, a nerve hold applied to twist out of his grip and then bring on the pain. He even uses this leverage to transition into a cradle – but the pin count barely reaches one, Khoklov looking ever more dominant as he powers out. The Moscow Lariat finishes.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/MayhemMidden.jpg

“Hey! Camera!” The audio comes through first, but soon the video feed cuts in to go with it, a camera heading down a corridor somewhere in the arena as Mayhem Midden beckons it along. “I want this documented,” he says, leaning out into the corridor from one of the locker rooms. “Come in here – I've just OKed this.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/GregGauge-1.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/MatthewKeith.jpg

There the Keith Brothers sit, their tag titles hanging from the locker doors behind them. “OK,” Midden says. “Go ahead.”

Matthew Keith takes the lead. “We want to hold these belts a long time,” he says. “But it seems like we're gonna be catching flak from the Riders until we find some way to shut them up.”

Greg nods. “And on top of that, seems fair to us that Matt actually get some time as tag champion where he doesn't have to limp. So this is to shut them up.

“Here's the deal; we take you on at Fight to the Feedback, and we prove, once and for all, that you can't take us.”

“And to do that,” Matthew picks up smoothly, “we're going to make sure this is decisive. So the fans will choose; do we beat them in a steel cage...”

“...do we hang the belts above the ring and make it a ladder match...”

“...or do we strap ourselves to them and give them no excuse?”

Kate Dangerous vs. Stephanie Wade

Once again, these two continue to show just how thoroughly two wrestlers can be on the same page. In their first contest, Wade found that her big stumbling block was simply that Dangerous had an answer to her every offering, and so it kind of proves again – but this time, Wade isn't content with that.

Rolling out of the ring, she collects a chair, and as Dangerous follows, she gets it full in the face as Wade concedes the DQ.

Edd Stone vs. Thunder Snake w/ Baroness Emily

Slick as anything, this. Edd and the renamed Pathlow are getting pretty used to wrestling one another, and every time they do it they find some way to top what had gone before.

Thunder Snake debuts a new approach to wrestling with this match – very formal, very careful, watching and studying between sudden whip-fast outbursts of high energy. It keeps the match from deteriorating into a spotfest and allows the pair to pace themselves – it's no wonder, really, that this is one of their best performances to date.

But Snake has a little more control; after Edd turns his best advantage – a springboard leg lariat – into a spontaneous outbreak of Cossack dancing, he comes crashing in with the Snake Lash, the rebranded Tumbling Monkey, to score the pinfall.

As ever following a Team KOBRA member's match, the ring fills with the rest of the stable, who surround him before bowing respectfully. Thunder Snake's bow in return is solemn, but satisfied.

Sam Keith w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Wolf Hawkins

Quite simply an excellent contest; Hawkins continues to grow into his own space now that he's clear of Cornell and at times seemed to be commanding the ring just as well as the veteran.

It's a tough fight – a real battle – and it goes long, but as we come into the nineteenth minute, Duane Fry barely has time to note that we might be in for a time limit draw before Hawkins blasts Keith with the Full Moon Rising almost out of nowhere.

For good measure, he adds a second, standing over the prone figure for a long time before making the cover.

Hawkins promptly collects the microphone from ringside, glances into the hard camera, and smirks. “You know,” he says. “I needed that. And Sam, we're gonna be coming back to this – I owe you for pointing out what Tommy was up to, but I owe you for screwing with my head the same time. I coulda been champion by now...

“Anyway, that brings me to what I wanted to say. See, Tommy's got this stipulation laid down for me, for Remo, and for big ol' Tyson.

“One of us fights him. Two of us get a title shot. He figures us wanting the shot will keep him out of his hair.

“Tommy... I've got a title shot banked, man. I have the Ticket To The Top. I can go after you. I can run roughshod over you all month...

“Or, of course, I can hope you pick Tyson. I can help my buddy Remo do what's needed. Get him the moment in the sun RDJ denied him, since Midden's stacking the deck.

“But then, Remo doesn't need the help.

“I don't know, Tommy. I'm torn. Destroy you... wait for Total Mayhem and crush you on a bigger stage... run you outta the business and show you how to do what you failed to do to Sam Keith...”

He grins. “But I can decide. Screw the fans – they can't GIVE me a title shot, I own one. They can't GIVE me a shot at you, there's no way you can run forever. I'm beyond your choices. I'm beyond your headgames.

Jack Bruce & Sammy Bach vs. Rick Law & Troy Tornado

There's a hell of a match in here, with all four men doing their best and Rick Law treating it like more of his personal year of excellence.

One of the most startling moments in there, indeed, is the two bigger men – Law and Bruce – counting roll-up into cradle into backslide into crucifix into sunset flip into Oklahoma Roll into sunset flip into cradle into backslide into -

Well, ultimately, into a top-rope legdrop from Sammy Bach on Eugene Williams to prevent Law scoring the pinfall.

Unfortunately, that sequence – around the ten-minute mark – becomes the sign for hell to break loose. With both members of the Bach and Bruce alliance in the ring at the same time, the Young Guns hit the ring to even things out, bundling Jack Bruce to the outside – though in a moment likely to go into highlight reels, Harry Allen manages to convert the plunge over the top rope into a Gunslinger's Revenge cutter that leaves both Allen and Bruce utterly out of it.

Sammy fights hard to fight back from underneath – he gets the old Bach Off superkick on Tornado, dropping him, and turns to deal with Rick Law, twisting out of a Squad Car Slam to choke him out with the Bach on your Back. Law eventually taps, but there's no ref. Sammy rises to try to revive him -

Texas Pete has other ideas, though, spearing Bach in the middle of the ring and dragging Law over to cover him before rolling to the outside. Williams slowly revives and makes the count.
