shadowmaster
I have a bloated roster and would like to purge some workers. They are all on written contracts. Is their any penalty outside of paying the remainder of their contract for doing this?
magik
- you risk infuriating their friends - their relationship towards you may change - you won't be able to negotiate with them for some time - people having relationships with them may lose morale - the competion may get better There may be others. James Casey
That pretty much covers it. I vaguely recall a rumour suggesting your business/reputation stat took a hit when you fire someone for non-disciplinary reasons as well. Can anyone confirm/deny it? shadowmaster
OK, but you don't take a hit when firing for disciplinary reasons? That's generally the only time I will fire someone. This time my roster was way bloated and wanted to trim it - to keep people from being unhappy. Based on the fact that I will take a hit of sometime for doing this, I am just going to send some of the workers I don't use that often or workers who aren't very good down to one of my child promotions. This way it'll eliminate people complaining about not being used and I won't take any hits.
King Kirby
If they're on written contracts and you're paying them anyway, why not just have dark match battle royals? You can get everyone you're not using an appearance, and it's the best way to improve skills as well. Plus, the more jackasses at a show, the better chance one of them will do something dumb and you can can their ass!
benjacko
I do the same thing as a Cult ROF, 10 man battle royals pre-show to keep people happy and plus it helps train the younger workers .
shadowmaster
Interesting, i think I will do that. Thanks for the idea!
shadowmaster
Another question.... Will I take a hit if I fire a worker under a PPA agreement? I just have no need for the guy.

Relationship hit (i.e. the guy may not like you much after you fire him).
