WWE Superstars 4/7/11 WWE Superstars is live all around the world with a huge feature contest, with the technical wizard known as Bryan Danielson taking on the roughneck brawler known as Vance Archer in your main event straight from Monday Night RAW. Finlay pinned Primo with the Celtic Cross in 7:21 Finlay beats up Primo, using his veteran ability and brawling to punish the youngster, as Todd Grisham and Matt Striker talk about Wrestlemania 27 and the fact that Batista is still the World Heavyweight Champion, Christian won Money in the Bank and become WWE Champion later that tonight, and the entire Illuminati lost every single match, before being banished from WWE for the forseeable future. Primo pulls out a Swinging DDT but he gets dropped with a stiff shot and the Celtic Cross gets the pin. (B-) Tyler Reks pinned David Otunga with an inverted DDT in 6:11 Reks is looking to take advantage of the recent departure of the Illuminati, by picking up the win on WWE Superstars. The recent shake ups on ECW especially, with Kazarian, the Specialists, Kaval, and the former ECW champion Paul London all ECW members of the Illuminati have been banished, really does leave the door open for someone like a Tyler Reks to go up to the next level. He drills Otunga with an inverted DDT for the pin. (D+) Yoshi Tatsu pinned Zack Ryder with a roll up after Ryder was too busy playing to the crowd in 8:05 Ryder showed a great deal of arrogance and gained several close nearfalls, as the 2011-2012 WWE Season could be a break out one for either of these youngsters. Ryder gets rolled up, as he needs to focus a little bit more if he hopes to break out to the next level. (C+) A look at Christian's first night as WWE Champion, along with John Morrison's meltdown and subsequent assault of the WWE Champion. Bryan Danielson pinned Vance Archer with an airplane spin into a gutbuster into a La Magistral Cradle in 10:01 Fresh off of a huge win against Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 27, Bryan Danielson has a different type of opponent in Vance Archer. Archer is always looking to make an impact and he gives Danielson some anxious moments, even escaping a number of submission moves and nearly pulling out the win with a belly to belly suplex. Yakuza Kick ducks and Danielson hoists up Archer, airplane spins him, before dropping him with a gutbuster and following through with the La Magistral for the pin. MadMatt Posted September 6, 2011 Author Share Posted September 6, 2011 WWE Smackdown 4/8/11 We see Smackdown General Manager Bret Hart come out, to talk about a great Wrestslemania and the road to Wrestlemania 28 begins Also the draft on the May 2nd RAW, where Smackdown, along with the entire WWE will be shaken up. Bret Hart talks about how Batista and Randy Orton ended with John Cena making his return and interfering but tonight its going to be Batista and Randy Orton in a Wrestlemania return match, with the championship on the line. The fans go absolutely crazy about this announcement and Bret Hart says that if anyone interferes on Batista's behalf, then Batista is disqualified and the World Heavyweight Championship will be Randy Orton's. The fans go nuts for this blockbuster main event. The Fortunate Sons defeated Unified Tag Team Champions the World's Greatest Tag Team in a non title match when Joe Hennig pinned Shelton Benjamin with the Perfect Plex in 8:55[/b] The World's Greatest Tag Team had a lot of momentum after their win this past Sunday at Wrestlemania 27 against the Specialists, but their momentum gets shut down in a hurry by the Fortunate Sons. Charlie Haas is beaten down but the hot tag, with Shelton running wild for a while but he gets hung up on a springboard, allowing Joe Hennig to hit the Perfect Plex for the pin. Ted DiBiase watches from the ramp as his brother Brett, and Hennig pick up the win in this non title match, which has to put them in line for a future championship shot. (B) We see Evan Bourne getting ready for his match with Alberto Banderas, a return match where he would put the WWE Intercontinental Title on the line against Alberto Banderas. Kelly Kelly walks up to him and wishes him good luck, while kissing him on the cheek. Bourne looks rather flustered but slightly pleased. Alberto Banderas comes out, cutting a promo, informing us that he is Alberto Banderas, he is the best looking superstar in Smackdown history, and he will be the World Heavyweight Champion someday. Its almost like he thinks its his destiny but we should really already know that. Alberto talks about he was cheated out of the Intercontinental Title two weeks ago and he was cheated out of Money in the Bank but now he is going to take Evan Bourne and make him tap out to the Cross Armbreaker. Evan Bourne pinned Alberto Banderas with the Air Bourne in 10:02 to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title It was the speed of Evan Bourne against the rough technical ability of Banderas. Banderas worked over the arm for a while but Bourne fight back, bringing Banderas down facefirst and then pounding away at him, pulling out a huge Tornado DDT. First attempt at the Air Bourne is blocked but not the second one, as Bourne shoves Banderas off the ropes as he attempts a superplex and hits the Air Bourne for the pin. (B-) We see Chris Jericho cutting a promo about Bryan Danielson, saying that what happened at Wrestlemania was a fluke and Danielson could never beat Chris Jericho two times out of three. He vows to set an example against Mike Knox. Chris Jericho defeated Mike Knox with the Code Breaker in 8:27 Mike Knox tried to make a name for himself at the expense of Chris Jericho but Jericho was too crafty, cutting the legs out from underneath Knox. Jericho gets too arrogant on a flying axe handle and gets bicycle kicked in the face. Knox gets several more power moves but Jericho counters a tilt a whirl, into the Code Breaker for the pin. Jericho hits a series of elbow strikes to the side of the head, mocking Danielson. This Monday, Chris Jericho and Bryan Danielson will have a return match from Wrestlemania 27(B) Randy Orton is lacing up his boots while Rey Mysterio walks up to him. Rey tries to tell Orton that he has back but Orton says he doesn't want anyone to have his back, he stands alone and he will win the World Heavyweight Championship. Orton says that he might have two busted up arms, that cause him to take twice as long to lace up his own boots but he'll beat Batista tonight, he'll take out John Cena, and Rey too if he doesn’t step to the side and let him do his business alone. Orton tells Rey to stay out of his way or else. Ted DiBiase comes out, saying that he was so close to beating the Undertaker, so close he could taste it. He says that he doesn't want a return match with the Undertaker, because if he beats him a hundred times in a row, it won't matter because it wasn't at Wrestlemania. All people want to talk about how he was the son of the Million Dollar Man but DiBiase yells that he's better, he's a former World Heavyweight Champion, something that his father never did. DiBiase says that he'll hold gold on Smackdown by the end of summer once again or he'll give away all of his money to the fans, burn his boots, and go on the street to live like a bum. By Summerslam, if Ted DiBiase is not a champion once again, he'll do that. Booker T pinned Ted DiBiase with the Axe Kick in 13:26 DiBiase's argument to get another title shot so he can fulfill the promise that he made did not really go all that much as planned at the hands of Booker T. Booker T beats up DiBiase throughout most of this match, with DiBiase getting brief flurries of offense, but he seemed to be absolutely manic, desperate to make something for himself, on the verge of a nervous breakdown after his failure to end the Undertaker's winning streak. Dream Street is fought out and Axe Kick connects and Booker T scores the pin. (B) It is now time for the World Heavyweight Title main event, but as Randy Orton is in the ring, both arms heavily bandaged, Batista comes out, wearing a face guard, dressed in a suit, with a note in his hand. Batista says last Sunday, after Rey recklessly kicked him right in his face, potentially damaging his looks, he suffered a broken orbital socket and a concussion, so he'll be out for the next couple of weeks, unable to compete and if he is forced to wrestle and defend his World Heavyweight Title. Smackdown General Manager Bret Hart comes out, furious, but the doctor's note checked out. Orton does not look happy, having decided to wrestle with bone fractures in both of his arms and now Batista has gotten a doctor’s note to check out. Orton calmly states that he doesn't care what quack Batista got to keep him out of the ring, but Randy Orton is going to give him a real injury to make that note all too real. Out comes security and Batista says that he knows Randy Orton wanted this match, so he had a suitable replacement lined out. "AWESOME!" Out comes the Miz and Batista tells the Miz this is his big chance to prove himself against Randy Orton. Randy Orton defeated the Miz via disqualification in 14:22 after Batista and John Cena interfered The Miz seemed intent to making a superstar level performance tonight to take down Randy Orton. Orton would not go down without a fight, despite the Miz throwing everything. Skull Crushing Finale is blocked and Randy Orton returns fire, hitting a Spike DDT and setting up for the RKO but Batista rushes in to spear Orton for the disqualification, followed by John Cena, who helps Batista lay a beatdown on Orton! (B) Cena and Batista are beating on Orton with, Miz grabbing a chair and putting it on the arm of Orton. They're going to injure the arm further but Rey Mysterio is out, taking John Cena out with a springboard. Cena staggers and Miz is launched to the floor. Orton is up and he jabs Batista in the ribs with the chair and swings the chair, but Batista dodges it. Orton drops the chair and turns around, before striking Rey with the RKO! The fans give a mixed reaction, with some cheers with a few boos mixed in. Orton yells that he warned Rey not to interfere. Smackdown goes off the air on this note. MadMatt Posted September 11, 2011 Author Share Posted September 11, 2011 WWE RAW 4/11/11 Hype for tonight’s huge six man tag team match, featuring Kurt Angle, Christian, and Edge taking on Paul Burchill, Sheamus, and Cody Rhodes. Also interpromotional match, with Chris Jericho taking on Bryan Danielson in a Smackdown vs. RAW Match. Out comes John Morrison, who we see last week beat up Christian at the end of RAW. John Morrison cuts a promo, talking about how he won the 2010 Royal Rumble and won the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event at Wrestlemania 26 but ever since being put on RAW, he has been forced to play second fiddle to people that don’t have a fraction of his talent. Then at Wrestlemania 27, it was the last straw, it should have been him as the conquering hero, taking down CM Punk after winning the Money in the Bank Match but it was Christian and that is something that Morrison can’t forgive, so he took out Christian last week. Morrison wants the WWE Championship and at May 1st at Extreme Rules, he wants to be the first challenger for Christian. Out comes the RAW General Manager Kevin Nash, who says that John Morrison can’t just demand title shots. Last week he disrespected the boys in the back, by not acknowledging the new champion and further showed his disrespect by taking down Christian. Morrison says that he doesn’t need to respect anyone, he’s the prodigy of this brand. Nash talks about how last week, Morrison teamed with Kofi Kingston and had a bit of an attitude after their tag team match, so tonight, Morrison and Kofi can go one on one. John Morrison made Kofi Kingston submit to a reverse figure four leglock in 10:44 A new rough neck style from Morrison, who continues to beat down Kofi, trying to take out his legs but Kofi fights back, with the usual high octane offense. The fans are going absolutely nuts but a backspring cross body block is missed and Morrison chop blocks the legs, before locking on a reverse figure four leglock punishing Kofi, using the ropes and forcing the submission! (B-) Morrison continues to beat on Kofi Kingston but out comes Christian to make the save, hitting a spear to Morrison, sending him through the ropes! The fans are going nuts as Christian invites Morrison to get him some. Morrison yells that he wants a title shot against Christian and Christian says that his night is open for Extreme Rules, so if Morrison wants a match, he has it. John Morrison against Christian for the WWE Championship is set up for Extreme Rules with a stipulation yet to named. Cody Rhodes is backstage, cutting a promo, throwing down the gauntlet for a United States Title Match with Kurt Angle at Extreme Rules with Sheamus and Paul Burchill stepping in. Burchill promises to cripple Edge tonight and also take a chunk out of the WWE Champion Christian. This trio of diabolical young men are ready to lay a hurting on Team ECK tonight. Beth Phoenix pinned Katie Lea with a top rope Glam Slam in 8:55 The winner gets the next title shot at the WWE Undisputed Women’s Champion Mia Mancini at Extreme Rules and both women tore into each other for a chance to get that title shot. In the end, it was Beth Phoenix who gets the win, hitting Super Glam Slam to wipe Katie Lea out for the pin. (C+) Recap of Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho from Wrestlemania 27. Danielson says that Jericho will have to put his money where his mouth is and Jericho restates his claims that Danielson might be able to beat him once, but not two times out of three. Chris Jericho pinned Bryan Danielson with the Code Breaker in 16:55 Lots of high impact action, and technical wrestling, with Danielson trying to get another win over Chris Jericho but Jericho seemed like a sadistic machine, working over the ribs of Bryan Danielson, and cutting off his offense after a few strikes. Danielson pulls out a huge dragon suplex but he can’t hold a bridge due to the buggered up ribs. Danielson hits the corner on the charge, jarring the ribs and Jericho hits the Code Breaker for the pin. (B+) Edge, United States Champion Kurt Angle and WWE Champion Christian defeated Paul Burchill, Sheamus, and Cody Rhodes when Christian pinned Sheamus with the Killswitch in 18:08 An insane battle with all six men beating on each other throughout this entire match. Edge was beaten down three on one but he fought back from the depths and tag made to Christian. Pier six leads to Rhodes and Burchill being put out. Brogue Kick is avoided and Christian snaps Sheamus down with the Killswitch for the pin. (B-) Rhodes knocks Angle into the steps and brawls with him as Burchill and Edge brawl but in comes John Morrison, leaping over the top rope and running knee strike to the face. Morrison beats on Christian and hits a huge brain buster bringing him down, before holding the WWE Championship Belt. He wants the belt on the line in the same match Christian robbed him in, the Ladder Match, at May 1st at Extreme Rules. It will be Christian against John Morrison for the WWE Championship in a Ladder Match at May 1st at Extreme Rules! Morrison stands over Christian, promising to become the new WWE Champion.
