kukukupo
I have downloaded and enjoyed the demo. I would really like to buy the game, however I cannot get it to install. I am running windows Vista. The demo installs and plays fine. If I try to update it, the install program crashes when it says 'updating configuration'. Then, the game does not run when opened. If I try to install the full version (after uninstalling the demo) it does the same thing. Any help here? I am not running any other programs during the install. kukukupo
It seems to be a problem with elicense. I installed it on a XP version of windows and it went through without a hitch. I notice many other elicense games do not work on Vista either.
Scott Vibert
You need to make sure you are running the games/installs with administrator permissions. The full version needs administrative permissions to get the License Control service up and running.
kukukupo
I have tried: Running as administrator Logging in as administrator and running Running with no windows firewall Running in safe mode Running in XP compatability mode Running with User Account Control disabled. All have resulted it the install stopping when it trys to 'configure system settings' - ie install elicense. On XP I had no issue. Any other ideas would be great - as I can't really use my XP system for gaming.
Scott Vibert
What anti-virus/system checker software are you running? Something is blocking it.. if you are running as administrator and in safe mode you should have full permissions, and most blocking programs should be disabled, but its possible that either firewall or anti-virus/system resource bundles could potentially block it. This one may require contacting Via Tech to help diagnose.
