Press Release

First backstage signings announced to yet unnamed company.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/VictoriaStone.jpg

Victoria Stone

Victoria took over her fathers business, and took it all the way to Global. She then watched as it went out of business. Since then she hasn't been seen much around the wrestling business. However, she jumped at the chance to be part of a new company and looks to be part of the creative team as well as the Commissioner.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/JeremyStone_alt2.jpg

Jeremy Stone

Jeremy took over the booking of NOTBPW after his father's retirement, but later stepped down. However he stayed with the company to the bitter end. His match with Eddie Chandler at the final show was also his last match before retiring. He has also been away from the business since the end of NOTBPW, but returns to be a road agent. In his career he won the NOTPW Canadian Title 4 times, The NOTBPPW Tag Team title 4 times, and won the Ed Henson Memorial 7 times.

OOC: I have started a new promotion on the easy level so it is cult with C popularity across the US, as well as having some popularity in Canada and Japan.

Its Official-Press conference

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/JackAvatar_FIN3.jpg

Jack: My name is Jack Avatar, and I have made a considerable amount of money over the last few years and I felt it was time to do something fun with that money. That is why I have decided to get into the wrestling business. Now, make no mistake, while I am doing this for fun, I have no intention of this being a losing venture. That is why I have joined with Stone Enterprises and brought two of the brightest wrestling minds on board. At this time let me introduce the President of the new Avatar-Stone Enterprises, Victoria Stone.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/VictoriaStone.jpg

Thank you Jack. At this time let me introduce the Vice-President in charge of talent relations, my brother Jeremy Stone.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/JeremyStone_alt2.jpg

Victoria:And now lets unveil what you have all been waiting for, the new wrestling company that will redefine the North American wrestling scene. I give you...

the X Wrestling Alliance or XWA

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/XWA.jpg

The XWA will bring back old school values to wrestling where wrestlers fight over titles and to prove whose the best, while at the same time integrating the best of the new wrestling generation. We will not hold back our talent, they will be free to bring their personalities to life and believe me when we start announcing some of our signings you will see we have brought together a group of not only some very talented wrestlers, but also the most intriguing "characters" this industry has to offer. Jack...

Jack: Due to the hard work of Jeremy and Victoria we have been able to secure PPV deals in both Canada and the United States, albeit not on the biggest PPV companies, but we will work with our partners to get our first PPV, XWA Genesis, in as many homes as possible. And at that PPV, which will be held the last Saturday of January, we will have a 4-Way match to crown our first World Champion.

OOC: Some of you may remember my old XWA diary and wonder why I am doing another one. It basically boils down to this, ReapeR did a lot of hard work making title belts for me, and I feel I owe it to him to get the most use out of them. Plus I still think they are the best belts.

Officially XWA is X-Wrestling America, however, that company has a more old school kayfabe product whereas I am leaning more towards a TCW type product. Additionally there are other XWA diaries out there using that name, this will be nothing like them.

Also, this diary will be nothing like my previous diary. My original XWA was a global promotion with a handpicked preset roster. In this diary I fast simmed to the year 2015, then created a cult level promotion using the "easy" option. Every piece of talent i have signed in this diary was signed legitimately and i have built the story around those who were willing to sign, as opposed to dictating the story as I did in my previous diary.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Announce Team Announced

The XWA Announce team will have a bit of international flavor with Brit Steve Smith and Canadian Tom Townsend. Also joining them in the booth on occasion and handling backstage interviews will be Stephanie Hazel.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/TomTownsend.jpg

Tom Townsend was the Color Commentator for NOTBPW before their demise, but the former Hockey star hasn't been seen since. He tried to convince Tommy London to join him in XWA, but to no avail.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/SteveSmith.jpg

Steve Smith is known as the voice of 21CW in Britain, a position he still holds, but will be making his debut across the pond with XWA. Smith also held the Head Booker position with ELPF prior to that company's closing.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/Principessa.jpg

Stephanie Hazel wrestled for NOTBPW, AAA, 5SSW, and CWWF before retiring in 2011. Along the way she won the AAA Tag Team Title and was a 3 time NOTBPW Women's champion. It was on the advice of her good friend Tom Townsend that she sought a job with and was signed by XWA.

XWA is pleased to announce they have come to terms with International Superstar Acid

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/Acid.jpg

Acid became well known during his run in DAVE. Following that company's demise he jumped to WLW where he won Tag Team Gold with UK Dragon. During 2008 he toured with both WLW and BHOTWG before signing full time with TCW is August of that year. Acid would have a 6 year run with the company winning the All-Action title 4 times. In late 2014 he returned to Japan to tour with BHOTWG. Currently he only works for XWA.

Joining him will be 2 of his students...

Acid II

Acid II debuted on the independent scene in 2012, and continued working the indys until signing his first contract with FCW in 2014. After he chose to sign with XWA, FCW did not renew his contract.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/CHThreepwood.jpg

Three Canadian Stars Signed

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/OwenLove_alt2.jpg

Owen Love

Owen Love worked for NOTBPW until its demise. He then spent a couple years working the Canadian Indys before recently joining ACPW, where he will continue to work in addition to XWA. While in NOTBPW he won their Unlimited Action title as well as the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup. He was also a 3 time NOTBPW Tag Team Champion.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/JohnMaverick.jpg

John Maverick

Maverick began his career in CGC where he won their World Title once, their Canadian title, twice, and their Tag Team titles, thrice. He then moved to NOTBPW where he again made it to the top winning the NOTBPW Canadian Title. He left NOTBPW in mid 2012. He was rehabbing an injury for over a year before returning for one match in SAISHO. He then became a regular for GCG from 2013 until late 2014 winning the Openweight title. He never actually lost that belt, but vacated it when he was not brought back on tour. Currently XWA is his only employment.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/AlexDeColt.jpg

Alex DeColt

While every member of the DeColt family was offered a contract, only Alex accepted. Alex is the current owner of CGC, having taken over following his father's retirement. He is a 4 time CGC World champion and 2 time Tag Team champion. In adition to CGC he has worked for USPW since late 2012, and also had a brief stint in RIPW.

OOC: Thanks for the responses and interest. In addition to documenting my promotion, I will also take time to document the other organizations and how they have done over the 7 years. I will probably do profiles like that whenever I hit a mental roadblock in booking.

The former DAVE Extreme champion and 2 time Unified champion won the WEXXV Blood Brothers titles 3 times with 3 different partners. He also won the WEXXV King of the Death Matches title during his time there. In addition to his work with WEXXV he has also toured with WLW, INSPIRE and EX2010 finishing his latest tour with that company this past month. He won that company's Television title 3 times, and in April of 2014, won the USPW World Title, a title which he still holds.

Last major signings announced...

with a surprise still to come...

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/CaseyValentine-1.jpg

Casey Valentine

Valentine, the nephew of Legend Peter Valentine, has been working his way up in the wrestling world. He worked for MAW until July, 2012. He then signed with NYCW and worked there till January of 2014 when he was signed into a developmental deal by SWF and reported to RIPW. Shortly thereafter he made his SWF debut. In October of that year he won the Shooting Star title. When his contract was renewed he was not given an exclusive deal and so took the opportunity to return to NYCW. With XWA giving him the chance to work with his uncle he signed on to make it the third company he is currently working for. He is also the only XWA worker also working for rival SWF.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/PeterValentine_alt.jpg

Peter Valentine

The elder Valentine has spent the last 7 years with USPW, although he retired in 2009. He did get one final run with the USPW World Title before his retirement. He is slated to be a manager in XWA and also still works for USPW.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/KidToma.jpg

Kid Toma

Toma has been working all over the world the last 7 years. He worked for SWF until 2011, winning their tag team titles 4 times. During that time he also did tours with WEXXV, GCG, WLW, INSPIRE and PGHW. He also did a short stint in CZCW. After leaving SWF he continued to work in Japan while finding tie to work for PSW and MAW, the latter of which still employs him. In 2014 he toured with BHOTWG and won both their Junior tag titles and their #1 Contenders belt. He is still recognized as holding both should he return for the next tour. Shortly before signing with XWA he also signed with USPW. At 31 he is no longer a kid, so look for him to debut a new ring name.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/jerem77/Wrestling/EricEisen.jpg

Eric Eisen

Perhaps a signing that will get the company more attention than any other is the son of the SWF owner. With SWF struggling to stay among the top companies, Eric had a falling out with his family and left the company in late 2011. He then signed on to do tours with WEXXV and EX2010. In late 2014 he returned to the states and joined MAW and just this week won the 2015 Rip Chord Invitational. With Chord having just announced his retirement, Eisen will be the last winner under his watch. Eisen plans to work for both XWA and MAW at this time. One rumored impact he has already had on the company is that they chose him over Texas Pete.
