Wex your Roddy Piper

He really looks like Luke Wilson, who knows maybe in a past life he was a wrestler instead of actor.

A long lost cousin, perhaps?:)

While my render of Piper perhaps didn't look like a picture perfect copy, I am rather satisfied with my last render. I still don't have many hair styles to pick from, and I just couldn't find out how to make the hair colour look platinum/bleached blonde (on the border between yellow and green), but here he is nonetheless; Mr. Eddie Graham.

Edit: Managed to alter the hair colour to look more bleached blonde-esque.

Since you were making legends, could you make a render of Former 3-time WWF(E) World Heavyweight Champion, BOB BACKLUND.

Note: Please remember that this isn't a request thread. Those have had their day. If you wish to have a render created, your best bet is to PM the artist and ask

I liked the piper one personally but wife kept saying that looks likes someone she knew, eventually she showed me the proof, lol.

The king kong bundy one though, I thought wow that KKB could of took over WWF broke Hulk in 4.8 pieces, we lost a rib somewhere and WM3 Killer KKB vs Giant. Give KKB a little bit of russian flavor "I must break you", lol and the cold war goes main event.

But... that Mr. Eddie Graham now that is a work of art, words really cant describe it. Thank you for bringing a little bit of old school, even though its been 26+ years since his death, this picture proves Mr. Florida is still alive and well.

While I may do a render of Bob Backlund sometime down the line, I would like to point out that I won't do requests - I don't want to open up that can of worms.;)

Thank you very much for the kind words.

Familiarizing myself with the program. Second render I've done.

Not sure if anyone has any use for it, but if they do:

This.

Though there are people who allow there work to be used freely, so you might just look around to see if it is close to what you want. For example my renders have been made available http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=447854

Does anyone know a way of cutting renders and putting them on a cverse background without using DAZ? I've tired with GIMP alone but can't figure it out. Any thoughts?

I'm not an expert, but here's one way to do it, using Gimp, and with the render being on white background. Load the picture, then click Colors -> Color to Alpha -> OK. The render will now be on a transparent background. Cut or copy the render, and paste it on top of the background of your choice.

Some of us render with a "transparent" background shader (usually that happens on a more recent version of a program, when the only thing in your rendered scene is your figure with its clothing/accessories on), so we'd simply load the saved picture (if it's saved as PNG or PSD, it basically would have the transparent bg), plop it onto the bg of our choice, and resize as desired.

But when you're using something like Poser 4 (which doesn't render on transparent background shaders), you tend to learn the nuances of marquee selection in your graphics program pretty quickly.

Punk here looks like Billy Lush from The Chicago Code (and The Black Donnellys, and a bunch of other shows).

Finally go in the mood to cut these. I hate cutting.

Zack Sabre Jr appears to be using my pic of him as his Twitter avatar. This pleases me.

Would it be possible to make El Generico's mask green?

  • 3 weeks later...

Good lighting, good usage of the outfit, sharp quality.

Only thing I can suggest is that you find yourself some better poses, maybe experiment with camera positioning a bit (for an artsy look). That one looks odd with the jacket sleeves, and might benefit from a sort of 3/4 overhead view with her looking at the cam.

Another suggestion would be to mix-and-match different outfits (ShareCG has a bunch of free ones) for unique looks. :)
