sebsplex Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 I started experimenting with converting M4 textures to fit trusty old M2 last night and came up with this (no postwork, just a straight up render)... http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j178/sebsplex/GDS/M2M41.png This is a bit of a WIP and as you can see by the discoloration difference around part of the jawline, I'm still tweaking it. It's a shame that M4 textures are broken up into so many parts as I suspect I'll have to blend the layers more to make the look decent on any larger renders.The head isn't too bad, but the body's a real pain. For TEW headshots though, it works pretty nicely. Anyone else here tried manually converting textures from different figures / or have any tips? It only converts the textures for the supported figures though. You should make sure you have the support-plugins for the figures you want to convert to. I've been rather slow on the up-take when it comes to plug-ins, clothing converters and the like, but seeing as nothing else is going to be coming out for the figures I use anytime soon, I probably need to get on it.
