ROF Pure Pro Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 1, July 2011

Norman Blue Athletic Center (Midlands, UK)

Jacques and Petey have been getting along well together as of late, which is always a plus in my locker room.

Kelly Martin (18) vs. Riddick Jordan (22)

In an extremely poor match, Riddick Jordan defeated Kelly Martin in 6:18 by pinfall with a Flying Headbutt.

Not a great match by any means, but both men are young and have a lot to learn.

(E+)

Leigh Burton (14) vs. Simon Ice (19)

In an extremely poor match, Leigh Burton defeated Simon Ice in 6:08 by pinfall with a Belly To Belly Suplex.

Simon was really off his game tonight, I wonder how they would have done together if not for that fact.

(D-)

Jacques DuPont (15) vs. Keith Adams (17)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Keith Adams defeated Jacques DuPont in 7:41 by pinfall.

Keith is looking to rocket up the ladder here in ROF. If he can keep it up, he may see a Burning Championship shot soon.

(D-)

Barry Griffin (7) vs. Zack Macomber © (6) (Man of Steel Championship)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Barry Griffin defeated Zack Macomber in 12:29 by submission with a Powerbomb Deathlock. Barry Griffin wins the Man of Steel Championship title.

This match was excellent and it sure didn't hurt that Barry and I have pretty good chemistry. He wanted to win a title, and so we gave him the Man of Steel Title.

©

Merle O'Curle © (1) vs. Walter Morgan (2) (Ring of Fire Championship)

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Merle O'Curle defeated Walter Morgan in 18:09 by submission with a Celtic Wreath. Merle O'Curle makes defense number 13 of his Ring Of Fire Championship title.

How could anyone follow Barry and I? It's Merle and Walter, come on now, of course they can follow us. Walter came close, but couldn't quite get it. If these guys would just sell for each other, it could be a classic every time.

ROF Better Than the Best of British Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 3, July 2011

The Paddington Club (South, UK)

Humphrey Woolsey, fresh off signing a new contract, has brought a bump to the locker room atmosphere sharing road stories from over the years.

Alton Vicious (21) vs. Geordie Jimmy Morris (16)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Geordie Jimmy Morris defeated Alton Vicious in 5:33 by pinfall with a Tyneside Neckbreaker.

Alton needs to compete in more matches like this if he's ever going to get better.

(D-)

Donny Damage (24) vs. Simon Ice (19)

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Donny Damage defeated Simon Ice in 8:04 by pinfall.

Yeah, 6 months have finally passed and Donny is back in ROF. He's going to be wrestling and I feel he will be wrestling hard. He's got some rust to shake off.

(D-)

Lance Martin © (10) vs. Pierre DuPont (11) (ROF Burning Championship)

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Lance Martin defeated Pierre DuPont in 6:30 by pinfall with a Body Rocker. Lance Martin makes defense number 2 of his Ring Of Fire Burning Championship title.

Lance picks up his second defense against who, in an alternate universe, would be seen as a threat for his tag titles.

(D-)

Don Henderson (4) vs. UK Dragon (5)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Don Henderson defeated UK Dragon in 11:23 by submission with a Scottish Deathlock.

Hopefully Don has put any poor performances behind him, because he's going to likely be challenging Merle O'Curle next month for the Ring of Fire Championship.

(D+)

Nigel Svensson (9) vs. Walter Morgan (2) vs. Zack Macomber (6)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Walter Morgan defeated Nigel Svensson and Zack Macomber in 18:50 when Walter Morgan defeated Nigel Svensson by submission with a Wigan Wrench.

I was off my game tonight, but we had plenty of other stuff to cover it up. A decent show was made great because of us.

WOAH! 21CW looks like they're in trouble. At the turn of the month, they let go 12 wrestlers from their roster.

ROF Pure Pro Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 1, August 2011

Norman Blue Athletic Center (Midlands, UK)

Jon Michael Sharp (18) vs. Leighton Buzzard (22)

In an extremely poor match, Leighton Buzzard defeated Jon Michael Sharp in 5:38 by pinfall with a Buzz Off.

Well, we have to expect that the lower card guys are going to wrestle each other too.

(E-)

Keith Adams (14) vs. Pierre DuPont (11)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Keith Adams defeated Pierre DuPont in 8:02 by pinfall.

Sadly enough, these two don't click. And therefore... move along.

(D-)

Lance Martin © (10) vs. Petey Barnes (13) (ROF Burning Championship)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Lance Martin defeated Petey Barnes in 8:07 by pinfall with a Body Rocker. Lance Martin makes defense number 3 of his Ring Of Fire Burning Championship title.

Well, I was going to let Petey's contract come up... now I think I'll keep him. Sigh...

(D+)

Donny Damage (19) vs. Jacques DuPont (16)

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Donny Damage defeated Jacques DuPont in 9:45 by pinfall.

A couple more matches and Donny should be in top form. On a plus note Jacques is improving his performance skills.

(D)

Wade Orson (7) vs. Zack Macomber (6)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Wade Orson defeated Zack Macomber in 18:03 by pinfall with a Bounce Back.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Leigh Burton defeated Robert Brown in 7:48 by pinfall with a Back Suplex.

Of course, these guys don't seem to click. That's fine, Leigh looked good in victory here and has moved up to the top ten.

(D-)

Nigel Svensson (8) vs. UK Dragon (5)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, UK Dragon defeated Nigel Svensson in 14:57 by pinfall with a Dragon Drop.

Oh snap, two matches need to be better than this. Can't do too badly.

©

Barry Griffin © (4) vs. Walter Morgan (3) (Man of Steel Championship)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Walter Morgan defeated Barry Griffin in 13:47 by submission with a Wigan Wrench. Walter Morgan wins the Man of Steel Championship title.

Well, this should have been the main event, no doubt. But these two have great chemistry. Absolutely awesome match.

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Merle O'Curle defeated Don Henderson in 15:16 by submission with a Celtic Wreath. Merle O'Curle makes defense number 14 of his Ring Of Fire Championship title.

Not a bad match by any means, just not as good as what came before it. Merle can't be put away. But the challengers are getting tougher and tougher. Will someone take the belt away?

Pre-Show: Zack Macomber def. Alton Vicious and Riddick Jordan (D)

Geordie Jimmy Morris (17) vs. Jacques DuPont (19)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Jacques DuPont defeated Geordie Jimmy Morris in 8:04 by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop.

Well, Jimmy is supposed to be teaching the young guys, but if he can't be consistent, he won't help anything at all. At least Jacques is improving.

(D-)

Donny Damage (16) vs. Pierre DuPont (13)

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Donny Damage defeated Pierre DuPont in 10:06 by pinfall.

Excellent... Donny is no longer Rusty. It's possible he could be fighting for a spot in the top ten next month with this win. Or maybe he'll get a shot against the Burning Champion. We'll see.

(D+)

Keith Adams (11) vs. Nigel Svensson (9)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Nigel Svensson defeated Keith Adams in 18:24 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock.

Well, this was a surprisingly good match. Keith may not have been able to make it into the top ten, but he certainly showed he can hang with them.

Barry Griffin (5) vs. UK Dragon (3)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Barry Griffin defeated UK Dragon in 15:34 by submission with a Powerbomb Deathlock.

Well, it looks like I found Barry's weakness... He can't go for this long. The man was huffing and puffing after he was able to pick up the win.

ROF Better Than the Best of British Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 3, September 2011

It seems that Petey Barnes and UK Dragon have become good friends. That's always good news.

Alton Vicious (24) vs. Jon Michael Sharp (22) vs. Kelly Martin (23) vs. Sifu (21) vs. Simon Ice (20)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kelly Martin defeated Jon Michael Sharp, Alton Vicious, Sifu and Simon Ice in 6:29 when Kelly Martin defeated Simon Ice by pinfall with a Perfect Driver.

The bottom 5 in the rankings came out and showed that they are competent in the ring. We thank them for their effort.

(D-)

Lance Martin © (10) vs. Robert Brown (12) (ROF Burning Championship)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Lance Martin defeated Robert Brown in 8:20 by pinfall with a Body Rocker. Lance Martin makes defense number 4 of his Ring Of Fire Burning Championship title.

Not a bad Burning Championship defense for Lance. He's keeping people at bay. It's great to see how far Lance has come over the past few years.

(D)

Don Henderson (4) vs. Wade Orson (6) vs. Zack Macomber (7)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Wade Orson defeated Don Henderson and Zack Macomber in 18:43 when Wade Orson defeated Don Henderson by pinfall with a Bounce Back.

What a way to mix up the middle of the rankings. Wade Orson looks to be working toward a Championship shot, but you can't count me and Don out either.

Tuesday, Week 1, October 2011

Geordie Jimmy Morris (19) vs. Sifu (22)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Geordie Jimmy Morris defeated Sifu in 6:01 by pinfall with a Tyneside Neckbreaker.

Sifu is looking good in the ring, but Jimmy needs to pick up a win here and there to keep looking strong.

(D-)

Jacques DuPont (17) vs. Pierre DuPont (16)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Jacques DuPont defeated Pierre DuPont in 6:05 by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop.

Even scripting this match couldn't save it from the abysmal psychology of the DuPont brothers. It seems that Jacques is the superior brother, as I told them to figure out the winner.

(E+)

Lance Martin © (10) vs. Petey Barnes (14) (ROF Burning Championship)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Lance Martin defeated Petey Barnes in 8:26 by pinfall with a Body Rocker. Lance Martin makes defense number 5 of his Ring Of Fire Burning Championship title.

Lance still doesn't look like he's dropping the title any time soon. Beating Petey Barnes is a good sign for him.

(D+)

Donny Damage (11) vs. Leigh Burton (9)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Donny Damage defeated Leigh Burton in 10:27 by pinfall.

Donny has quickly worked his way into the top ten. Will he be the one to dethrone Merle O'Curle? Or am I grasping at straws?

1. Merle O'Curle (Ring of Fire Champion)

2. Wade Orson

3. Walter Morgan (Man of Steel Champion)

4. UK Dragon

5. Barry Griffin

6. Donny Damage

7. Zack Macomber

8. Don Henderson

24. Kelly Martin

The downside, people have been demanding raises. Some guys now make double what they were before. Hell, there are four guys getting paid more than $1000 a show. That profit we were making is no longer so.

ROF Pure Pro Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 1, November 2011

Norman Blue Athletic Center (Midlands, UK)

Lance Martin continues to prove his worth, brightening the locker room atmosphere with some fun stories.

Geordie Jimmy Morris (18) vs. Riddick Jordan (21)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Geordie Jimmy Morris defeated Riddick Jordan in 8:23 by pinfall with a Tyneside Neckbreaker.

It was originally going to be Jon Michael Sharp instead of Riddick, but then I realized Jon's contract is coming up and I'm not resigning him.

(D-)

Don Henderson (8) vs. Zack Macomber (7)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Zack Macomber defeated Don Henderson in 12:04 by submission with a Prawn Armlock.

Don wasn't happy about giving the win up to me, but he can eat me. I'm the booker and I'm trying to grow not only the company, but myself too.

(C-)

Keith Adams (12) vs. Lance Martin © (10) (ROF Burning Championship)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Keith Adams defeated Lance Martin in 9:05 by pinfall. Keith Adams wins the Ring Of Fire Burning Championship title.

Keith is the new Burning Champion! He's come into ROF and cemented himself as a player. Now let's see if some of the kids on the bottom of the ladder can climb up and challenge him.

(D-)

Leigh Burton (11) vs. Nigel Svensson (9)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Nigel Svensson defeated Leigh Burton in 8:50 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock.

What these two lack in psychology, they make up for in chemistry. Leigh can't quite make it back into the top ten, but I'm sure he'll keep trying.

(D+)

Donny Damage (6) vs. Walter Morgan (3)

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Donny Damage defeated Walter Morgan in 11:51 by pinfall.

The top of this promotion doesn't like to sell, but Donny has brought himself up to the top. Unless Wade can beat Merle in two weeks, Donny will be ranked number 2 at the end of the month. That will assure him a title shot in December.

ROF Better Than the Best of British Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 3, November 2011

The Paddington Club (South, UK)

Bernie Evans has just showed to me that he is an idiot. He thought it would be a good idea to pull a mean spirited prank on Donny Damage. Donny is very important to me, Bernie is not. He got the riot act for it. If he does it again, the man will be fired.

On the flipside, Petey Barnes cheered the locker room up with some funny drawings. Particularly one of Donny ripping Bernie's head off.

Leighton Buzzard (22) vs. Pierre DuPont (17)

In an extremely poor match, Leighton Buzzard defeated Pierre DuPont in 5:43 by pinfall with a Buzz Off.

Extremely poor? Not in my eyes. Both of these guys will only get better.

(D-)

Alton Vicious (19) vs. Sifu (23)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Sifu defeated Alton Vicious in 5:40 by pinfall.

Now, this was below what we require to see. I see an upside from both of these guys, so I won't complain.

(E+)

Robert Brown (13) vs. Simon Ice (14)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Robert Brown defeated Simon Ice in 7:58 by pinfall with a Fisherman's Suplex.

And the matches involving the kids are over for tonight. Let's get to the big boys.

(D-)

Barry Griffin (5) vs. UK Dragon (4)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Barry Griffin defeated UK Dragon in 13:19 by submission with a Powerbomb Deathlock.

Wow... not what I expected. Maybe UK just isn't what ROF needs anymore... At least in the top of the card. Come on main event, save this show!

(D)

Merle O'Curle © vs. Wade Orson (2) (Ring of Fire Championship)

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Merle O'Curle defeated Wade Orson in 16:48 by submission with a Celtic Wreath. Merle O'Curle makes defense number 17 of his Ring Of Fire Championship title.

And it did. Hell of a match between these two. I can only imagine what they'd do with 25 minutes or so. Beautiful.

Boy, is my face red. When I made these matchups, I forgot that I had failed to renew the contract of Riddick Jordan. He thought that he was worth more than $150. In fact, he thought he was worth $500! I did not agree. And what's this? UK Dragon doesn't want to talk to me about a new contract, as he has decided to explore his other options. So, there is going to be a bit of a card reshuffle.

It looks like I'm going to have to bring in a new name or two... sadly enough, the UK scene is not very helpful for Ring of Fire's product. With no new prospects coming in, this is going to be rough.

At the start of December, we have $58,801 in the bank. Sponsorship money has been rolling in since we hit Regional, but I hadn't paid attention to the finance screen. I may jump into monthly events starting in 2012. If that's the case, I don't know if we're keeping the ladder system or go back to the league. Any thoughts?

ROF Pure Pro Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 1, December 2011

Norman Blue Athletic Center (Midlands, UK)

Alton Vicious (21) vs. Kelly Martin (22)

In an extremely poor match, Kelly Martin defeated Alton Vicious in 6:09 by pinfall with a Perfect Driver.

I've come to figure that the undercard matches just don't much matter to the fans of ROF, with no real stories being told, it just is what it is. Now, if one of these guys was able to break out and move up the ladder, it would be another story.

(E+)

Leighton Buzzard (18) vs. Pierre DuPont (20)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Pierre DuPont defeated Leighton Buzzard in 5:35 by pinfall with a Flying Fist Drop.

Better than the previous match, but not by much. Pierre keeps picking up skills, which is good. I want him to be worth something some day.

(D-)

Geordie Jimmy Morris (17) vs. Jacques DuPont (16)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Geordie Jimmy Morris defeated Jacques DuPont in 8:29 by pinfall with a Tyneside Neckbreaker.

Geordie is still looking somewhat strong, as he moves back up the ladder a bit. He's settling into his role very well.

(D-)

Lance Martin (11) vs. Petey Barnes (14) vs. Robert Brown (12)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Petey Barnes defeated Lance Martin and Robert Brown in 12:19 when Petey Barnes defeated Lance Martin by pinfall with a X-Press.

It looks like Petey is going to be getting a shot at the Burning Championship next month. Nice.

(D+)

Donny Damage (2) vs. Merle O'Curle © (Ring of Fire Championship)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Donny Damage defeated Merle O'Curle in 17:43 by pinfall. Donny Damage wins the Ring Of Fire Championship title.

Donny was really off his game tonight, but he still put in a hell of a performance to pick up the win and the Ring of Fire Championship. Are we going to have another 2 and a half year championship run? Stay tuned.

ROF Better Than the Best of British Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 3, December 2011

The Paddington Club (South, UK)

Jimmy Morris helped out the locker room atmosphere by doing some great Robert Brown impressions. Y'see, Jimmy owned this place before Bobbo did.

Pre-Show: Sifu (19) def Simon Ice (15) (E+)

Keith Adams (10) vs. Leigh Burton (13) (ROF Burning Championship)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Keith Adams defeated Leigh Burton in 8:42 by pinfall. Keith Adams makes defense number 1 of his Ring Of Fire Burning Championship title.

Keith is a great teacher. Leigh is a great student. This is what I like to see.

(D)

Don Henderson (9) vs. Nigel Svensson (7)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Don Henderson defeated Nigel Svensson in 8:32 by submission with a Scottish Deathlock.

I'm loading this show up. Just wait til you see the next segment...

(C-)

Frank Burton (23) vs. Greg Gauge (24)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Frank Burton defeated Greg Gauge in 9:14 by pinfall with a Brainbuster.

Greg has absolutely no popularity in the UK, hence this grade... although he is costing me $1500 a show... let's see what this does to the pay parity!!!

(D+)

Barry Griffin (4) vs. Wade Orson (3)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Wade Orson defeated Barry Griffin in 10:54 by pinfall with a Bounce Back.

It is too bad that these two just don't click at all. Barry had such good chemistry with such a number of ROF wrestlers. It was only a matter of time.

(D+)

Walter Morgan (8) vs. Zack Macomber (6) (Man of Steel Championship)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Walter Morgan defeated Zack Macomber in 12:08 by submission with a Wigan Wrench. Walter Morgan makes defense number 1 of his Man of Steel Championship title.

This is a match that never lets me down. Walt and I have gotten so much better in the past two years, it's stupid. That's a great way for 2011 to end.

Whoops, my plans for 2012 made this show pop up when I wasn't expecting it. No advance booking, I'm going to waste a lot of money on this one...

ROF End of the Year Awards

Tuesday, Week 4, December 2011

Norman Blue Athletic Center (Midlands, UK)

Keith Adams © vs. Lance Martin vs. Robert Brown (ROF Burning Championship)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Keith Adams defeated Lance Martin and Robert Brown in 14:38 when Keith Adams defeated Robert Brown by pinfall. Keith Adams makes defense number 2 of his Ring Of Fire Burning Championship title.

Keith able to grab a victory to close off the year. It wasn't the best match, but hey, it wasn't bad at all.

(D+)

Don Henderson vs. Nigel Svensson vs. Walter Morgan © vs. Zack Macomber (Man of Steel Championship)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Walter Morgan defeated Don Henderson, Nigel Svensson and Zack Macomber in 14:57 when Walter Morgan defeated Don Henderson by submission with a Wigan Wrench. Walter Morgan makes defense number 2 of his Man of Steel Championship title.

One hell of a match here tonight. Four guys that like to fight hard, now we'll see four more guys that are too cool for school.

©

Barry Griffin vs. Donny Damage © vs. Merle O'Curle vs. Wade Orson (Ring of Fire Championship)

In a match that had some good action and a good crowd, Donny Damage defeated Barry Griffin, Merle O'Curle and Wade Orson in 19:59; the order of elimination was Wade Orson first, then Barry Griffin, and finally Merle O'Curle. Donny Damage makes defense number 1 of his Ring Of Fire Championship title.

One hell of a way to cap off 2011. Will Ring of Fire continue their rise to stardom in 2012? Stay tuned to find out.

So, I was REALLY thinking about moving to Australia and taking over RAW. REALLY thinking about it. Hell, I already had everything I was going to say to Tristram Day and the ASN executives all planned out. But I can't leave Bobby and the rest of the boys. (Or more specifically, you guys, as you've given my rendition of ROF some love.) Maybe if the job opens up again in the future...

ROF Pure Pro Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 1, January 2012

Parliament Square (South, UK)

Sifu, despite going on the radio and claiming to be the star of ROF, drew some new logos for some of the wrestlers, which was pretty cool.

Jonni Lowlife and Simon Ice have really become loyal to each other as of late. It's a nice thing to see the locker room getting along well.

Frank Burton (21) vs. Pierre DuPont (17)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Frank Burton defeated Pierre DuPont in 13:49 by pinfall with a Brainbuster.

I like the idea of Frank climbing up the card, because he's going to pull some great matches out of people.

(C-)

Jacques DuPont (16) vs. Simon Ice (18)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Jacques DuPont defeated Simon Ice in 7:45 by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop.

Simon was off his game tonight, but this match had some good in ring action. I really wish the DuPonts would learn a bit quicker though.

(D-)

Lance Martin (13) vs. Robert Brown (11)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Lance Martin defeated Robert Brown in 16:19 by pinfall with a Body Rocker.

Not bad, but not great. I think I need to move some of the lower guys up the ladder if they're going to get any better.

(D)

Petey Barnes (9) vs. Zack Macomber (7)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Zack Macomber defeated Petey Barnes in 17:53 by submission with a Prawn Armlock.

In a pleasant surprise, Petey and I have great chemistry. It's a good thing too, because we don't have the same wrestling styles.

(C-)

Merle O'Curle (3) vs. Wade Orson (2)

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Merle O'Curle defeated Wade Orson in 23:41 by submission with a Celtic Wreath.

This match featured a nice slow build and ended up being as good as I wanted. Good job guys.

You know what? I lied. I'm not going to try to expand to Scotland and North UK until I either have more money or some popularity spillover. I'm going to drop Scotland Yard Wrestling and just keep UWK.

ROF United Wrestling Kingdom

Tuesday, Week 2, January 2012

Norman Blue Athletic Center (Midlands, UK)

Greg Gauge (23) vs. Leighton Buzzard (19)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Leighton Buzzard defeated Greg Gauge in 7:34 by pinfall with a Buzz Off.

Well, they didn't click and the match was too long, but it was a good one nonetheless.

(D-)

Leigh Burton (12) vs. Sifu (14)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Leigh Burton defeated Sifu in 7:50 by submission with a Sleeper Hold.

Leigh and Sifu are the future of British wrestling, it's just too bad 21CW cut them from the roster. It's up to us to make sure they grow.

(D)

Geordie Jimmy Morris (15) vs. Kelly Martin (20)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Kelly Martin defeated Geordie Jimmy Morris in 8:06 by pinfall with a Perfect Driver.

Well, not what I was hoping for, but we're just trying to grow some of the young guys. Kelly is no Lance.

(D-)

Barry Griffin (4) vs. Walter Morgan © (5) (Man of Steel Championship)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Barry Griffin drew with Walter Morgan in 15:23 following a double count out.

How I love great chemistry... the fans were a little let down with the double count out finish, so Barry and Walter agreed to a rematch... Now!

(C+)

Barry Griffin (4) vs. Walter Morgan © (5) (Man of Steel Championship)

In a match that had some good action and a good crowd, Walter Morgan defeated Barry Griffin in 10:39 by submission with a Wigan Wrench. Walter Morgan makes defense number 4 of his Man of Steel Championship title.

Well, that sure is one way to cap off a show! They went all out for the rematch. Too bad I won't be able to feature this match again any time soon!
