We all know the long storied history of World Championship Wrestling from 1988 until now we have been the best we ran the wrestling world for half a decade and then a man came along see this man had a good track record coming in he worked for the other company did a pretty good job their, but then he came here. This man is Vince Russo don't get me wrong he's a good person but he...he needs a filter and god help me I've been hired to be that filter I have final say and I can do what I want with out Russo's permission ( Thank God) I was just hired by Bischoff who just bought WCW from Time Warner right before some people say Vince was gonna buy it. So here's are last shot we have a deal on FOX now for Nitro this is time...Time for WCW to take are spot as number one and this will start next Monday. Yea with me here WCW has no problem but trust me WWF does.

OCC: This will start off on TEW 2008 and when I get TEW10 I will continue it with that and I know that the title pictures are diffrent sizes but thats the best I could do

Tune in this week to a new chapter in WCW history when WCW is live on their new home FOX. On this live show we will have an action packed with all out excitement. You will see The Insiders face off against Totally Buff for number one contenders for the WCW Tag Team Championship. We will also have the always exciting crusierweights when Shane Helms faces Air Styles for the WCW Crusierweight title. In a WCW US title match Mike Awesome goes head to head with Booker T and in the main event to determine the WCW Heavyweight Championship Jeff Jarrett goes up against Dustin Rhodes. And still more so don't forget same time new channel FOX (Check your local listings)

TS: Welcome to WCW Nitro I'm Tony Schiavone here with Mike Tenay and Mark Madden and guys tonight is the a new beginning for WCW under new ownership WCW is now on FOX and the new owner is none other than Eric Bischoff.

MT: That's right Tony, tonight is history for WCW and with this new chance WCW is back and better than ever.

MM: Don't sound to happy Eric will find a way to screw it up some how.

Totally Buff comes down to the ring with Scott Steiner with the rest of the Magnificent Seven still I the back. They get a whole lot of heat from the crowd.

SS: Shut Up! You people don't know greatness in fact you wouldn't know it if it bit you on the ass. See me, Totally Buff, the rest of the Magnificent Seven are great, we run WCW now and their aint a damn thing anyone can do about that. Tonight Totally Buff beats the hell out of the Insiders and becomes number one contender for the Tag Team belts. Boys bring the titles home were they belong.

BB: Scottie Boy ya know we will, we step up when times get ruff because we're Totally Buff.

LL: Insiders were coming for ya.

This match started off with good action as Kevin Nash and Buff started the match they went back and forth and had some good chemistry between the two they fought for around six minutes until Buff tagged in Luger. Luger looked off his game in there tonight and Nash took it to him after about three minutes Nash tagged in DDP and he went straight at Luger and hit him with a Diamond Cutter for the win at 11:55 to be number one contender for the tag team championship.
Rating: B-

MT: Well it looks like Totally Buff fell short tonight you know Flair and Steiner cant be happy.

TS: I'm getting word that Dustin Rhodes is back stage with Mean Gean lets go to you Gene.

MG: Thanks Tony and I'm here with Dustin Rhodes and Dustin let me ask you about your match tonight, Jarrett has been saying he was going to beat you easy tonight your thoughts.

DR: Well Mean Gean, there are some people that like to run their mouth a lot and can't do nothing but beat them till they shut up and that's what I'm going to do tonight. See Jarrett calls him self the chosen one but guess what Jeff you've beat me before sure ok i'll give you that but guess what that was up north they told me to lay down for you, but tonight your ass is mine.

MG: What about the Magnificent Seven?

DR: What about them, if they want to get involved I got some boys on speed dial ready to take care of em and they might not be under contract with WCW but I'm sure Eric would welcome the with open arms and trust me they will make your life a living hell.

Lots of high Flying action to begin with, good chemistry between these two Style really looked good out there and had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Shane Helms on the other hand looked terrific and just edged past Styles to retain the WCW Crusierweight title. He won with the Nightmare on Helms Street at 12:26.

We see Kevin Nash and Sean O' Haire fighting in the parking lot
Nash is beating on Sean pretty bad he then throws him into a car breaking the windshield and then walking off leaving O'Harie in a pool of his own blood.
Rating: C+

MM: Well Nash didn't waste no time going after one half of the WCW tag team champions.

This was a great semi-main event Booker looked very good and was in control for the majority of the time Awesome had a good showing though getting some offense in. The match ended when the ref got knocked down and Awesome's Team Canada partner Lance Storm comes out and throws salt into Booker's eyes and then pick the ref up and Awesome hits an Awesome Bomb to become the new WCW US Champion 16:59

MT: Next up is our main event to crown the number one contender for Booker T's World Heavyweight Championship.

TS: That's right and we heard Dustin speak earlier and we heard him say that if the Magnificent Seven wants to get in involved he has a couple guys on speed dial to have his back.

MM: I don't think he scares them any I mean who could it be Dusty? Ha that guy is on up there now he cant do much.

This was another very good match each man battled back and forth. Jarrett took control for about five minutes in the middle of the match working on Rhodes left arm but Rhodes recovers and takes controll they fight back and forth a good amount of time but Rhodes hit a Lonestar State of Mind for the win at 12:49

This week on WCW Monday Nitro live from the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill North Carolina two weeks away from Spring Stampede. We are expected to here from Eric Bischoff to confirm some matches this week confirmed for this weeks Nitro is a three way ladder match to name the number one contender for the WCW Crusierweight Championship. Also Kevin Nash will face off against Sean O'Haire the man who he attacked in the parking lot last week. Dustin Rhodes will call out Booker T his good friend that he will face at Spring Stampede. The main event will be Totally Buff head to head with Booker T. and Dustin Rhodes. Plus more
