Will Little Guido's replacement for Feast or Fired be announced?

Find out on Saturday night on Spike TV.

PRE SHOW

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Hernandez defeated Robert Roode in 6:38 by pinfall with a Dominator. D+

Impact

Saturday, week 2, December 2003

Detrick Gym, New Britain, CT.

Live on Spike TV.

Eric Bischoff is standing in the ring alone. None of his soldiers are at ringside. He says he is not here to discuss personal issues, he is here to detail the celebrations for TNA's one hundreth show which is next weeks episode of Impact. He says that for the first time ever, all four TNA championships will be defended in the one night with the highlight being Ken Shamrock challenging Jeff Jarrett for the NWA TNA World Heavyweight Championship. There will also be one other match where eight of the competitors in Feast or Fired will face off in an eight man tag team match. He says that everyone will see the best wrestling on television. C+

Sid Vicious is hissing backstage. He says before he rips Jarrett's head off at Christmas Feast and becomes the champion, he has one last thing to take care of, and says he will take care of Vampiro tonight for all the sneak attacks he has suffered in the past. C-

Austin Aries v Mr Wrestling IV

These two were rewarded for their quality dark match on Explosion by facing off again as the opener on Impact. Whilst it was not as good as their previous match, it was still a perfectly watchable match. While Aries pulled off the upset when it didn't really matter, IV kept his head under his mask and took this one in 6:48 by pinfall with a Throat Thrust. D+

Harley Race approaches Paul London in the locker room. He hands him an envelope and tells London that inside is an offer than he would be foolish to refuse. D+

Backstage and IV is taking on refreshments following his victory over Austin Aries. American Dragon approaches and promises he has a surprise for him but he will have to wait for it. D

Backstreet Boyz v Middle Eastern Nightmare

The former tag champs were too strong for their Arabian opponents and they look a big danger for the champions at Christmas Feast. The Boyz took this in 4:33 when Trent Acid defeated Abbadon by pinfall with a Backstreets Back. D+

Following the match, Buff and Roger Bagwell run to the ring. Buff takes out Johnny Kashmere with the pink paddle to the back of the head before hitting Trent Acid all over his body and leaving him laying and red in the ring. D+

Jeff Jarrett is backstage and cuts a promo saying that he has defeated everybody in TNA including Ken Shamrock before. He says that at Christmas Feast that Sid Vicious will fall the same way as everybody else as there is not a wrestler in the world who is as good as he is. B-

Paul London v Rocky Romero

Romero makes his return to TNA and faces a focused London who is determined to prove his worth to Roger Bagwell, Harley Race and Dusty Rhodes who are all vying to be his manager. Both men performed well but it was London's desire which prevailed in 8:02 by pinfall with a London Calling. On this performance, they might want to look at Rocky too. C-

Two of Eric's Army are backstage, Ernest Miller and Shane Douglas. They say they are going into Feast or Fired not to win cases but to prevent Ken Shamrock and Ultimate Warrior from getting the World Championship case. C

CM Punk speaks. He is enraged at Abyss. He says that the big man had no business in getting involved in his mission to clean up TNA and his attempt to win the NWA TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He tells Abyss that he will be made to pay at Christmas Feast for his transgressions. C+

Sid Vicious v Vampiro

Vampiro did not go down without a fight. The dark vampire withstood Sid's early assault and utilise his dark mind games against his much larger opponent to get inside his head. Sid's awesome power eventually took care of things in 13:01 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. D+

Joel Gertner is backstage with Rick Steiner who has issues with Eric's Army. He tells Jose Maximo that he won't be in a wrestling match at Christmas Feast but he will be in a fight and warns him not to expect any Christmas gifts. Gertner laughs at Steiner saying Maximo will beat him easy, but he soon backs down when Steiner barks in his face. C-

Mike Tenay and Don West ask Potter about how he is feeling following two weeks of attacks by Abyss and defeat to him on Explosion. Potter is coy and tells them he doesn't want to talk about it. C

TNA TV TITLE

Jose Maximo (champion, with So Cal Val) v Doug Williams

A good even contest with a good amount of interest from the crowd. Both champion and challenger took it to each other the champion prevailed in 18:44 by pinfall with a Maximo Explosion. Jose Maximo makes defence number 4 of his TNA TV title. C-

Impact Preview

It's a special edition of Impact as TNA celebrates it's 100th show. Eric Bischoff announced last week that all four TNA titles will be defended tonight.

Also, Christmas Feast is tomorrow night. There is one spot to be filled in the Feast or Fired match. With Ken Shamrock challenging for the World Championship, the other eight man face off in an eight man tag. Will the tenth man reveal himself?

CM Punk had been on a mission to 'clean up TNA'. However, a monster has got in his way... Abyss. Will scores be settled or scars deepened? And why has Abyss targeted the straight edge star?

Watch the special Impact on Spike TV on Saturday night.

PRE SHOW

In a match that had some good action and average heat, 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown defeated Mike Quackenbush in 7:46 by pinfall with The Pounce. C-

Impact

Saturday, week 3, December 2003

Pacific Athletic Center, Forest Grove, OR.

Live on Spike TV

Jeff Jarrett speaks candidly from backstage, a documentary style promo. He says that he isn't worried about Ken Shamrock as he has beaten him many times before. Nor is he worried by Sid Vicious as he knows there are other people in TNA who don't want him to be champion as much as he. Jarrett is going to be the World Champion into 2004 and well beyond. C+

Backstage and Harley Race and Roger Bagwell are having an argument about who is the better manager and who will be the man to manage Paul London. C-

http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS1ot-8ARC6Ba8fN9d3FKSzTLGDZF-7TFvZ5kjVyLd-Y28uoUMA

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

Desmond Wolfe (champion) v Frankie Kazarian

A reasonable opening bout to the 100th TNA show which saw Wolfe have the upper hand for the majority. Wolfe hit the Tower of London on Kazarian when Kazarian's former mate in Triple X, Rocky Romero, ran down to assist. This led to Mickey Jay calling for the bell in 7:49 when Frankie Kazarian was disqualified as Romero ran in and attacked Desmond Wolfe. Desmond Wolfe makes defence number 8 of his TNA X Division title. D+

Happy Homos cut a promo where they promise to give Backstreet Boyz a good spanking tomorrow night, as Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell waves the pink paddle. C+

Eric Bischoff is backstage in his office. He speaks with vile about Sid Vicious, saying that he only has a title match tomorrow night because Jeff Jarrett wanted it and promising him that when he loses, he will never get another chance. B-

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSS9x6o5E2HI2l1LroZ43KhcFZ9Y_YCIsWnkiWN8iF7KtdkgzSM

NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Happy Homos (champions, with Roger Bagwell) v Devon Storm & Super Crazy (with Midajah)

The Homos were on top for most of the match, so much so that Alex even enjoyed a good spanking from Roger Bagwell with the pink paddle on the apron in mid match. The challengers were dispatched with some ease in 7:03 when Alex Wright defeated Super Crazy by pinfall with a Homo Delight. Happy Homos make defence number 2 of their NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. D+

Mr Wrestling IV cuts a promo on his future match with American Dragon and says that he will never lose his mask. D

Backstage and Jeff Jarrett looks for, and finds Sid Vicious. He stands toe to toe with Sid and repeats his statement that he is not worried about tomorrow night. Sid hisses that he should be worried when Jarrett eats his foot and thunders to the mat when he gets power bombed. Jarrett shrugs him off and says there are too many people in TNA who don't want Sid to be champion for him to ever become champion. B-

Air Paris, American Dragon, Ernest Miller & Shane Douglas v Doug Williams, Jody Fleisch, Paul London & Ultimate Warrior

A match with many combustable elements that didn't quite explode. Surprisingly, the heels teamed well together, led by two of Eric's Army. The faces however didn't gel so well. Equally surprising was the outcome of the match. While the winning side wasn't a surprise, it was the loser who was as in 11:05 when Shane Douglas defeated Ultimate Warrior by pinfall with a Franchiser. Feast or Fired may well be very interesting... C-

Rick Steiner speaks from the locker room saying he has had suffered for years and years with Eric Bischoff's politics and he will start to eradicate that when he takes out Jose Maximo tomorrow night. C-

Desmond Wolfe speaks about how he is one down and one to go in his double header of title defences this weekend. D

http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQzNdsp2FGAJphcGIzPFMRkKsFjXN8jNns-bG9vjiH7IhsssEtD

TNA TV TITLE

Jose Maximo (champion, with So Cal Val) v CM Punk

A solid enough match but I had hoped for a bit better. It was hard fought as two men who are at the top of their game went tooth and nail for the TV Title. Punk was being to assert his ascendancy on the match when Abyss came to the ring. Maximo distracted Rudy Charles long enough to allow Abyss to hit the Shock Treatment which enabled Maximo to sneak the win in 13:32 by pinfall with a Maximo Explosion following interference from Abyss. Jose Maximo makes defence number 5 of his TNA TV title. Punk was seething after the match.C-

Mike Tenay, Don West and Potter go into depth the World Championship picture over the weekend, with Ken Shamrock challenging tonight and if Jarrett is successful in defending, Sid Vicious tomorrow. B-

http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRoXTm-wLK0WB4DIyFdxKvuKHUXAu1iFLyzxxdwvTFZmENPp8wEHw

NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Jeff Jarrett (champion) v Ken Shamrock

Another match that didn't quite fulfill it's potential and was a slightly disappointing way to end the night. It wasn't stinking by any means but it lacked the spark. It also probably didn't help that the majority of it was the same sort of Jarrett v Shamrock fare that has been seen in the past. The ending was different though. With Jarrett trapped in the Ankle Lock and screaming in pain, Eric Bischoff strode to ringside and distracted Ken Shamrock. As Shamrock leaned over the ropes and Rudy Charles tried to clear Bischoff from ringside, Jarrett his Shamrock from behind with a low blow. He followed this up with his finisher which ended the contest in 14:46 by pinfall with The Stroke after a distraction from Eric Bischoff. C-

Kijar - Little Guido is indeed out injured as Jay said so he had to be removed from the match.

Jay - Are you picking Dragon to collect two cases?

All - I've decided to give another bonus point if anybody can name the mystery tenth man.

Nar, was just an idea I had.

TNA CHRISTMAS FEAST 2003

Sunday, week 3, December 2003

Round Rock Athletic Complex, Round Rock, TX.

Live on UrbanXtra pay per view

Eric Bischoff is in his office with Shane Douglas and Jose Maximo, though Ernest Miller is not there. He talks about his great feeling that tonight is going to be a great night as Shane Douglas and Ernest Miller take care of business in Feast or Fired by preventing Ken Shamrock and Ultimate Warrior from getting title shots, that Jose Maximo is going to muzzle the dog when he beats Rick Steiner and he will watch with great satisfaction when Jeff Jarrett disposes of the big retard, Sid Vicious. C-

Mike Sanders v Robert Roode

The opening bout is a tepid affair between two guys who don't get much ring time in TNA and matters weren't helped when they failed to gel in the ring. Sanders proved to be the better man tonight in 7:16 by pinfall with a 3.0. D

Hernandez v Super Crazy (with Midajah)

The second match was a much better affair and the two opponents in this one gelled together very well. Hernandez has been on a roll of late although hasn't competed for a couple of weeks. Crazy's TNA career has been rather stop start. Hernandez kept his momentum up with a good win in 9:30 by pinfall with a Dominator. C-

Mr Wrestling IV cuts a short promo backstage immediately prior to his match with Frankie Kazarian, saying that he will view Kazarian as American Dragon as motivation to get some intense match practice in ready for the mask match. D-

Frankie Kazarian v Mr Wrestling IV

IV was intense but at the same time was a little distracted with his focus on Kazarian being Dragon as Kazarian is a better high flyer but a lesser technician that Dragon which threw IV off at times and allowed Kazarian to nearly win the match on a couple of occasions. IV came through though with an intense mix of wrestling and speed, in 8:47 by pinfall with a Sudan Elbow Drop. C-

America's Most Wanted v Middle Eastern Nightmare

AMW had virtually all of a disappointing match which was thankfully rather short. The near capacity arena was much emptier for a few minutes as many took the chance for a refreshment break. AMW took the win in 5:38 when 'Cowboy' James Storm defeated Shawn Daivari by pinfall with a Death Sentence but were hardly impressive. D-

CM Punk cuts an angry promo on the monster Abyss, saying that he has no business interferring in his mission to clean up TNA and questions his motives. Punk finishes by saying that tonight he will go through the monster so he can finish his mission. C-

Christopher Daniels v Devon Storm

A really good match that shone above what was before and was a relief following the lacklustre tag team match that had preceded it. Both men put in an impressive performance and it was Daniels who continued his strong start in his TNA career by earning victory in 10:41 by pinfall with a Last Rites. C

Harley Race and Roger Bagwell are backstage, arguing again over who is the better man to manage Paul London. This time they come to blows, but the crowd aren't in to it, they want more wrestling like what just happened. E+

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRDBMSQ0_iTO7VvB3vnNp1PvZHbryqaECz942G_joAC98-E16CZHA

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

Desmond Wolfe (champion) v Vampiro

Another good match but didn't quite reach the standard of the Daniels/Storm contest. The match went back and forth with Wolfe's technical ability and Vampiro's dark ****tail of offence proving to counter and overcome in roughly equal measure. A sign of a champion is the ability to pull one out of the bag and Wolfe did this in 13:11 by pinfall with a Guvnor's Crumpet. Desmond Wolfe makes defence number 9 of his TNA X Division title. C-

Ultimate Warrior is backstage. It's classic Warrior as he is pumped up and shouts a lot, claiming he will rip apart Shane Douglas and Ernest Miller as he earns a World Championship shot in Feast or Fired. C

Abyss v CM Punk

An intense, physical and very entertaining match. Punk was true to his words as he went all out to roll through the monster, but with Abyss being Abyss, it takes an awful lot to take him out. The two brawled all over the ring and ringside area. Robert Brisko cut them a lot of slack but told Abyss he was stepping over the line when he tried to bring a steel chair into play. Abyss and Punk ended up brawling through the crowd, and this was when Brisko decided that the match could go no further as in 14:10 he counted both men out. C+

Ken Shamrock then talks about Feast or Fired. He talks about his hatred for Eric Bischoff and his Army but warns Warrior that it will be he that walks out with the World Championship briefcase. C-

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSS9x6o5E2HI2l1LroZ43KhcFZ9Y_YCIsWnkiWN8iF7KtdkgzSM

NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Happy Homos (champions, with Roger Bagwell) v Backstreet Boyz

A disappointing match for two reasons. Firstly, these have faced over numerous times over recent weeks and this offered nothing new. Secondly, Buff Bagwell was off his game. Despite this, the impressive second reign of the former champions could not propel them to win back the titles for a third time and this was mainly thanks to Roger Bagwell. He climbed onto the apron with the pink paddle in hand and waved it at Trent Acid. Acid was maddened with all the pink paddle antics and went after Roger. His taking his eyes off the ball cost the Boyz as Alex Wright did a quick roll up for the three count in 12:27. Happy Homos make defence number 3 of their NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. D-

Sid Vicious hisses a lot backstage. Nothing new there then. With his eyes bulging out of their sockets, he hisses through his teeth that tonight he will take Jarrett's title and Bischoff's nightmare will come true. C

Jose Maximo (with So Cal Val) v Rick Steiner

I had hoped for a bit more from this match and it highlighted how inconsistant the action has been thus far tonight. The veteran tired as the match wore on while TV champion Maximo has been a revelation since his brother Joel left for a WWE developmental deal. His impressive run since then continued as he defeated Steiner in 13:03 by pinfall with a Maximo Explosion. D+
