Sydney seems a lot darker & quiet than usual. I don't know if I'm just imagining things or the city decided to take a break for one night. A homeless man stops me, I'm late but I can't turn away. I hand him a 5 dollar bill, hopefully balancing my karma out with a good deed.

I arrive to my destination. It starts raining as I enter the building. How appropriate, the city starts crying as I'm forced to put on a "strong" face. The gate keeper asks for my golden ticket as he looks me over. Finally I step through the gates of hell as blood splatters across my shirt. I smile. I'm home....

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/tool-1.jpg

"If you walk down the right back alley in Sydney, you can find anything. My name is TOOL and I'm the head booker of a rebellious independent wrestling promotion in Australia.

Rewind 2 years ago, I was apart of James J. McMinister's Australian Pro Wrestling. James had this crazy idea of buying out all of the smaller wrestling groups in Australia and making a monopoly. I was one of those souls that got bought. Once a booker, I was turned into a "ring boy" or as I liked to call it a "bitch"! I was stuck in purgatory, running errands for McMinister and friends.

In late 2009, during an errand run, a voice called out to me from the shadows of an alley. It was rough. Kinda sounded like an out of tune guitar.

"How does it feel looking in the mirror every morning and seeing your potential bleeding out from your pours?"

Potential? Ha. That's a word I haven't heard since I started working with J.J. McMinister. I called back to him, asking for a name. He stepped out of the darkness, he was old, scarred and smelled of smoke and alcohol. It was The Comedian.

"I'm giving you the opportunity to take back your life. I need a bloke like you to help me run things. There's a show this weekend at Marv's Sports Central. Be there..."

Just like that, he disappeared. Magical. He reminded me of an off the wagon Angel.

I showed up to his show. There was an old ring set up and a curtain for their entrance way. Nothing compared to APW's production. The bell rang. I was left in awe. Warriors of all shapes and sizes battled for supremacy. The canvas was left stained with blood and beer. It was as if The Comedian and co. was flipping McMinister the bird, doing the complete opposite of their competition.

The dust settled and The Comedian found me deep in my thoughts.

"You're coming up with ideas for my show, huh?"

It was as if he read my mind. I already had dozens of different scenarios planned out in my head.

"You start next week."

The Hardcore Leader gave me a card with his address on it. It was all it took to make me quit my job with APW. I showed up to the Comedian's rat invested apartment the following week and the rest was history.

The year is 2010, The Comedian has declared war! He assigned me as his General Chief. Winning the war won't be easy. Sure, we'll lose a lot of battles along the way but we have something that the "other" guys don't have, PASSION!

Join us on our Hardcore Revolution.

It's us vs them: who's side will you be on?....

I know which side I'm sticking to...."

The Roster

Heels:

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/abattoir.jpg

Abattoir is a mean and violent hardcore wrestler from Australia who specialises in wild brawls. Following his debut in 2006 he works across the country on independent shows, which is where he was spotted by The Comedian. Clearly he made an impression, as when The Comedian then decided to put together Deep Impact Wrestling, he gave Abattoir a call and brought him onto the debut roster.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/bigrig.jpg

Big Rig is a huge 400lb+ Australian worker who is best known as one half of The Bad Truckers tag team alongside Diesel Dan. The two brawlers made a name for themselves as tough customers on the independent circuit, and got their first taste of fame in 2009 when they were signed by Deep Impact Wrestling.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/dieseldan.jpg

Diesel Dan is a big 6'8, 390lb grizzled brawler, who is one half of The Bad Truckers tag team alongside Big Rig. Surprisingly, Dan is the smaller of the two, which is saying something. After making a name for themselves on the independent circuit, The Truckers were signed by Deep Impact Wrestling in late 2009.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/dumfreypinn.jpg

Dumfrey "Boss" Pinn is a heavyweight competitor from Australia. He does not look much like a fighter at first glance, more like a fat corporate CEO, but he moves surprisingly well for such a big man and uses his size and power to bully his way around the ring. He usually runs a very good "mob boss" type gimmick, and has workers running interference for him. He was signed by Deep Impact Wrestling in 2009, and was quickly established as one of their premier heels.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/macemueller.jpg

Mace Mueller is a tough young kid from New Zealand who got his first big break when he was signed by Deep Impact Wrestling in 2009. Virtually unknown prior to joining DIW, apparently he was spotted on a small independent show by The Comedian. With a vicious style and natural toughness, Mace could go far.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/mayhemmulhoney.jpg

Crazy veteran Mayhem Mulhoney is a wild brawler who established a reputation for being involved in the most insane fist-fights around when he was on the independent circuit. He was one of the very first people hired when Deep Impact Wrestling was created, and was instantly thrust into a headline feud with the owner, The Comedian.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/roadhouseradford.jpg

Chris "Roadhouse" Radford is a tough brawler who was a fixture on the Australian independent circuit for many years prior to being signed by Deep Impact Wrestling in 2009. There is nothing fancy about him, he's just a straight ahead fist-fighter, but he's a solid professional.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/scottiehamstead.jpg

Scottie "The Hammer" Hamstead is a powerhouse 275lber from Australia, who got his first break when he was hired to be part of Deep Impact Wrestling's debut roster in 2009. A good athlete who combines strength and surprising speed well, he is particularly noted for his hard right hand punches, hence his nickname. Still fairly green - he had only gotten three years of independent work under his belt before DIW - Scott is one for the future.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/tombstone.jpg

Tombstone is a young fighter from Australia who appears to have a very bright future. A decent worker even at a young age, and boasting a great heel look, he made a name for himself on the independent circuit through 2008 and 2009, before being picked up by Deep Impact Wrestling to be part of their debut roster.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/wezdobberly.jpg

Wez Dobberly is a big brawler from Australia's west coast. Something of a generic power wrestler, having neither the flashy moves nor excess charisma to separate him from the pack, Dobberly looks set to be in for a career of working for smaller groups. He joined his first "name" promotion in 2009, when Deep Impact Wrestling signed him.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/lori.jpg

Lori Cooper is a young Australian valet \ manager. She first appeared in the wrestling world in 2009, when she was plucked from obscurity to be part of the DIW promotion. She was paired up with Wez Dobberly after signing.

Faces:

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/asylum.jpg

Asylum is a wild and crazy brawler from Australia. He was almost completely unknown prior to being picked up by Deep Impact Wrestling in 2009, having apparently been spotted on a small independent show by Big Jim Teasdale and recommended to DIW owner The Comedian.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/hatemonger.jpg

Hatemonger is a veteran brawler from Australia, who since 2005 has been teaming with Warmonger to form The Apocalypse. Having made a name for themselves as a wild pairing, it was no surprise to see them pop up on Deep Impact Wrestling's debut roster; they became the company's first ever tag team champions in December 2009.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/menacetosobriety.jpg

Menace To Sobriety is a veteran brawler who has been drifting around the Australian independent scene for most of his career. He finally got a big break in 2009 when he was hired by Deep Impact Wrestling, a promotion for whom he is virtually tailor-made, and was given a push-by-association by being The Comedian's "ally" and occasional tag team partner.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/comedian.jpg

The Comedian is a rough, tough Australian brawler. He was one of the undoubted stars of the old Aussie Rules Wrestling promotion; he couldn't really wrestle all that well, but his cigarette-smoking, rules-breaking, anti-authority sociopathic character was a hit with the fans and turned him into a huge fan favourite. He gained the name The Comedian due to his completely surly, monosyllabic nature. Despite being one of the most popular workers in Australia, he did not end up in the APW when it became the dominant force in wrestling on the continent; nobody is sure what exactly happened, but apparently there is a lot of bad blood between The Comedian and APW owner James J McMinister. In 2009 The Comedian started up Deep Impact Wrestling, determined not to let APW and RAW "ruin wrestling" in the country.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/warmonger.jpg

The Warmonger is a very powerful heavyweight from Australia. He is best known for being one half of The Apocalypse tag team, working alongside Hatemonger, a duo who have been together since 2005. In late 2009 they became part of Deep Impact Wrestling's debut roster, and won the tag team titles in December of that year. Considered the better of the two in terms of in-ring talent, Warmonger is also noted for being one of the strongest men in pro wrestling.

Owner: James J. McMinister

Prior to 2007, the wrestling business in the southern hemisphere was in pretty dire shape; a handful of tiny promotions could be found in Australia, but most were struggling just to cover their costs, let alone thrive. It was James J McMinister, head of a large mining firm in Melbourne, who saw the potential for something bigger, and in February 2007 he officially founded Australian Pro Wrestling, the first major promotion the continent had ever had.

McMinister's plan was simple; buy out all of the smaller companies in order to create one "super" promotion, combining the best talent from each. His gamble was that there was enough talent available to allow the promotion to survive for a couple of years, giving time for a new generation of young wrestlers to appear and bolster the roster further. What he didn't count on was that APW's status as the only game in town wouldn't last very long...

Current Champions:

Australian Champion - Spiffy Stan Standish

Commonwealth Champion - Swoop McCarthy

Tag Team Champions - Blake Belushi & Rick Stantz

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/diw/TristramDay.jpg

Owner: Tristram Day

The exclusive property of The Australian Sports Network, Revolution Australian Wrestling are the world's first promotion to be created entirely for TV purposes.

The promotion came about after one of the network's executive producers, a hot-shot "idea guru" called Tristram Day, realised that wrestling shows tended to test extremely well in the key demographics that the network was after. Unwilling to spend big bucks to import shows from America, he realised that if the network created its own promotion and treated it like a TV show then they would be able to market (and profit from) their own exclusive stars.

Current Champions:

Television Champion - Luke Steele

Tag Team Champion - Quiz Master & Quizzical Mark Question

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/diw/HalloweenKnight.jpg

Owner: Halloween Knight

New Zealand's first and only wrestling promotion, ZEN: Art Of Wrestling was created by local worker Halloween Knight in 2007 in order to give a place to work for the new wave of wrestlers who were coming through in the area. A cult classic in the making, ZEN mixes the cutting edge athletic and technical aspects of lucha libre with a healthy dose of off-the-wall humour and zany characters. The emphasis is primarily on producing fun shows that everyone can enjoy, and they do it well, but the quality of wrestling they produce should not be overlooked either.

ZEN are very proud of the fact that they are the first ever "full equality" promotion, where gender is no barrier to being on their roster - this is slightly undermined by the fact that they have yet to actually have any women try to work for them though. Still, it's the thought that counts.

Current Champions:

ZEN Master Champion - Halloween Knight

ZEN Harmony Champions - Vertigo & Super Zero

ZEN Conceptual Champion - Shaolin

Dumfrey Pinn, Mace Mueller & Abattoir, Pinn Enterprise Ltd., make their way out from the back. Mueller and Abattoir hold open the ropes for Dumfrey as he steps inside the squared circle and grabs a microphone.

Dumfrey Pinn: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Deep Impact Wrestling. My name is Dumfrey Pinn and these are my associates, Mace Mueller & Abattoir. Tonight, we grace you with our presence to make you an offer you cannot refuse. We know that Deep Impact Wrestling has fallen on hard times. So we're here to put an offer on the company, so that we may re-sell it for double it's worth...

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/comedian.jpg

The Comedian walks out, he's smoking a cigarette and washing it down with a cold can of beer. Comedian steps inside of the ring and stands face-to-face with Dumfrey Pinn.

Dumfrey Pinn: Are you the man I need to talk to about acquiring this company?

The Comedian stands still, staring at Dumfrey and not saying a word.

Dumfrey Pinn: Excuse me. I'm talking to you. I expect an answer when I ask a ques-

Comedian clocks Dumfrey across his face with a hard right punch. Mace Mueller charges but gets tossed outside of the ring. Abattoir gets clotheslined over the top rope. Comedian has just cleaned house.

On the outside, Pinn Enterprise Ltd. re-groups. Dumfrey fumbles for a microphone and puts a hit on the Hardcore Leader.

Dumfrey Pinn: Nobody disrespects me like that! NOBODY! Abattoir, get this fool!!

Abbattoir slides into the ring and starts brawling with The Comedian. A referee runs out and calls for the bell. It looks as if we got ourselves an impromptu match.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/comedian.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/diw/vs8.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/abattoir.jpg

Huge brawl between these two. Comedian gets the upperhand, landing some stiff punches. An irish whip leads to the Comedian getting tossed into the ropes and having his legs pulled out from underneath him by Mace Mueller. Abattoir grounds n' pounds, keeping the Hardcore Leader on the mat. After some miss-communication between Abattoir and Mace Mueller, The Comedian nails his opponent with a Running Powerslam and keeps him down for the 3-count.

Winner by Pinfall: The Comedian (10:21) D-

After the match, The Comedian grabs a microphone, still exhausted from his battle with Abattoir.

The Comedian: Hey Dumbfrie, if you didn't get my answer I'll spell it out real nice and simple for you, Deep Impact Wrestling is NOT for sale! This is OUR Hardcore Revolution and I'd rather be dead than to sell DIW to scum like YOU!!

The crowd cheers and starts up a "D.I.W.!" chant. Pinn Enterprise Ltd. re-groups and disappears to the backstage area.

Asylum takes the fight to the outside where he has tons of toys to play with. After getting nailed across the head with a stiff chairshot, Tombstone gets tossed into the steele guardrails. Tombstone stops Asylum's momentum with a Kneelift, knocking the wind out of him. They find themselves back inside of the ring. Tombstone calls for a Piledriver but Asylum backdrops his way out of being dropped ontop of his head. Asylum grabs a Chair, tosses it at Tombstone, Tombstone catches it, Asylum hits a Spinning Wheel Kick onto the chair knocking Tombstone out. He covers him, 1...2..kick out! Asylum sets up a Table inside of the ring but just ends up getting attacked from behind while he's setting it up. Tombstone Powerbombs Asylum through the table then applies a Rear Naked Choke. The referee calls for the bell after Asylum doesn't seem to be responding.

Winner by Submission: Tombstone (13:01) E-

Scottie "The Hammer" Hamstead makes his way out from behind the curtains. He insults the fans on his way towards ringside, eventually stepping inside the ring and grabbing a microphone.

Scottie Hamstead: Oy! For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Scottie "The Hammer" Hamstead! I'm here in Deep Impact Wrestling to hammer all of my competition into the ground untill I am the #1 Professional Wrestler in Australia!

Roadhouse Radford gets attacked right after the bell. "The Hammer" dominates the match, slamming his opponent into the mat and dropping some vicious hammering blows. Radford fights back, nailing Hamstead with a couple of body blows. Roadhouse grabs a Chair and swings, missing. Scottie replies back by smashing the Chair into Radford's face with a Hammerfist Punch. Scottie hits the Hammertime(Jackhammer) and picks up the pinfall.

Winner by Pinfall: Scottie Hamstead (10:10) F+

All 4 men brawl with each other. Diesel Dan and Hatemonger fight on the outside of the ring, smashing Chairs and equipment over each others heads. In the ring, Big Rig is pounding away on Warmonger, stomping a mudhole in him. Warmonger gets tossed into the turnbuckle, Big Rig charges at him, Warmonger moves and Big Rig crashes in the corner. Warmonger knocks Big Rig off of his feet with a Running Clothesline, he pins him, 1...2...Diesel Dan breaks up the pinfall. Dan gets double teamed by Apocalypse. They put Diesel Dan through a Table with a modified 3D. Hatemonger pins Dan while Warmonger stands at guard, 1...2...3!

Winners by Pinfall and STILL Tag Team Champions: The Apocalypse (11:52) D-

After the match, Abattoir and Mace Mueller run out and hit the Tag Team Champions with a pair of Barbwire Chairshots. Abattoir and Mace Mueller celebrate their attack while Dumfrey Pinn watches from the enterance way, smiling from ear to ear.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/mayhemmulhoney.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/diw/vs8.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/menacetosobriety.jpg

Menace to Sobriety controls the earlier portion of the match, stumbling around and hitting some surprisingly good offensive moves. Sobriety attempts a Drunkcanarana but Mayhem counters it with a Powerbomb. The fight spills to the outside. Mayhem Mulhoney smashes a Beer Bottle over Menace's head, busting him open. Mayhem sets up a table in the center of the ring. Mulhoney sits Sobriety on the top rope, attempting to Superplex him through the dangerous table. Menace to Sobriety manages to block the Superplex attempt and counter it with a Tornado DDT through the table. Menace pins his opponent, 1...2...kick out!! It seemed like Menace to Sobriety had all of the momentum in the world untill Mayhem responded with a Running Big Boot. Mulhoney slams Menace down into the mat with a Vicious Powerbomb. He covers him, 1...2...Mayhem lifts Menace off of the ground breaking up his own pin. Mulhoney hits ANOTHER Powerbomb. 1...2...again Mayhem lifts Sobriety off of the ground. It looks like Mayhem Mulhoney wants to make a statement in DIW. Mayhem calls for a third Powerbomb but this time Menace to Sobriety counters it with a Drunkacanrana, 1....2....3!! What an upset!!

Winner by Pinfall: Menace to Sobriety (13:48) E-

Afterwards, Mayhem Mulhoney attacks Menace to Sobriety, pissed off that he lost the match. After setting up two open chairs, Mayhem Powerbombs Sobriety ontop of them, nearly breaking his back. Mayhem calls for another Powerbomb but luckily The Comedian runs out with a Kendo Stick and clears the ring. Comedian checks on his friend as Mayhem makes his way to the back, cursing Comedian on his way out.

FINAL RATING: E+

TOOL's Memoirs

January, Week 1, 2010, our first show of 2010 went as everyone expected. Fans and co-workers left the show happy and yearning for more. With the success of January's show, I'm hoping that there will be more fans in the crowd at our next event.

January, Week 2, 2010, I met up with The Comedian a week after "Blood, Sweat and Beers" and he greeted me with a list. It was a list of goals he had for me, The Comedian thought if I had a list it would help keep me on track. Smart move.

TOOL's Goals

Goal #1: The financial balance of DIW must not have fallen below $20,000 - 23 months, 1 week

Goal #2: DIW must not have fallen below #36 in the promotion rankings - 31 months, 1 week

Goal #3: Do not hire or extend the contract of any wrestler with lower than D- in Basics - 19 months, 1 week

Goal #4: Do not hire any wrestler's who are MMA crossovers - 17 months, 1 week

Goal #5: Do not hire or extend the contract of any wrestler who's Stamina is lower than D- - 27 months, 2 weeks

Seemed fair enough. I assured him that I would reach his goals and help DIW grow as a company. It was then that The Comedian introduced me to a young Australian wrestler, "Crazy Blue" Milton Hittlespitz. He's short, has shaggy blue hair and had his finger nails painted in black...he was certainly a weird one. Comedian wanted him to be apart of our team. I quickly looked him over and got a few ideas. He's going to fit-in just fine with us.

January, Week 3, 2010, RAW put up a parody video on their website, mocking DIW and our fans. Ha. These guys are comedians. I scrolled down to view the comments and it seems that fans of both companies have rabidly turned on the 10 minute video. There's dozens of comments calling the video "amateurish" and "unfunny". Wow. That backfired didn't it?

This is Milton Hittlespitz DIW debut. Milton immediately makes a statement by smashing a chair over Tombstone's head, busting him open. The match spills to the outside where Milton Dropkicks a chair into Tombstone's face while he's up against the steal guardrails. After a missed Top Rope Splash, Tombstone applies a Rear Naked Choke on Hittlespitz, forcing him to pass out. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by Submission: Tombstone (10:27) E

Tombstone refuses to release his Chokehold. The referee tries to break the hold to no avail. Asylum runs out with a chair and clears the ring, saving Milton from further injuries. While Tombstone heads to the back he lets Asylum know that he's next.

Match quickly turned into a 4-man brawl. All 4 men fight with each other all over the venue. Hatemonger grabs a Beer Bottle, chugs it and smashes it over Abattoir's head. In the ring, Warmonger sets-up a Table in the middle of the ring and calls for a modified 3D on Mace. Dumfrey Pinn runs out and pulls Hatemonger out of the ring, smashing him across the chin with a pair of Brass Knuckles. Mace Muller low blows Warmonger while Abattoir hit The Killing Joke(Sit-Out Neckbreaker). Muller and Abattoir stack up on Warmonger for a pin, 1...2...3!!

Winners and NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Criminals (12:15) D-

Pinn Enterprise Ltd. celebrate their Tag Team Championship victory as the Apocalypse re-group inside of the ring. The crowd does not seem very happy over the final decision.

Wez Dobberly and Lori make their way out towards ringside. Lori holds the ropes open for Wez as he steps inside the squared circle and grabs a microphone.

Wez Dobberly: For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Wez Dobberly and I am WRESTLING PERSONIFIED! In the land of extreme, I'm the only man who doesn't need to resort to weapons to win a match. All I need is my bare hands and I'll stretch anybody to submission. So Asylum bring all the weapons you want because at the end of the day, you're going to lose to a WRESTLING HOLD!

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/asylum.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/diw/vs8.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/wezdobberly.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/lori.jpg

Asylum tries to turn this match into a Hardcore fight while Wez Dobberly wants a technically-sound wrestling match. Wez grounds Asylum with various wrestling holds, attempting to keep him away from any weapons. Following a missed Elbow Drop, Asylum finally grabs a hold of a chair and nails Wez over the head. It looks as if he has the match in the bag when Tombstone runs out and applies the Rear Naked Choke on Asylum from behind. Asylum passes out from the choke allowing Wez to pick up an easy 3-count.

Winner by Pinfall: Wez Dobberly (12:28) E-

Afterwards, Tombstone and Wez Dobberly take takes stomping away at Asylum untill they shake each others hands, congratulating themselves on their attack.

Scottie Hammers Diesel Dan with various vicious blows, keeping the larger man grounded. Dan mounts a comeback, nails Scottie with a running Powerslam, 1...2..kickout! Diesel Dan grabs a table and sets it up against the turnbuckle. Dan lifts Scottie up onto his shoulders, Hamstead slips behind the larger hardcore athlete and shoves him through the Table. Scottie quickly covers his opponent, 1...2...3!

Winner by Pinfall: Scottie Hamstead (12:09) E-

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/mayhemmulhoney.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/dumfreypinn.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/diw/vs8.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/menacetosobriety.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/comedian.jpg

Another all-out brawl. Comedian and Dumfrey brawl on the outside while Menace to Sobriety and Mayhem Mulhoney exchange strikes on the inside of the ring. Comedian Suplexs Pinn through the merchandise table, near the concession stand. Back in the ring, Menace to Sobriety attempts a Drunkcanrana but Mayhem counters it into a Sit-Out Powerbomb, 1...2...kickout! Mayhem gets a chair kicked into his head by MTS. Menace hits a flurry of Forearm Shivers to Mulhoney but he quickly finds himself being knocked out by a Spinning Piledriver. Mayhem covers, 1...2...3!

Winner by Pinfall: Mayhem Mulhoney & Dumfrey Pinn (14:26) D-

Comedian and Pinn are still fighting in the crowd when The Criminals runs out and attack Comedian from behind. Pinn Enterprise Ltd. stomp away at the DIW Champion then toss him in the ring for Mayhem Mulhoney to finish the job. Mayhem folds Comedian in half with a Stiff Powerbomb. The show comes to an end with Mayhem Mulhoney, Dumfrey Pinn and the new Tag Team Champions, The Criminals celebrating inside of the ring.

TOOL's Memoirs

February, Week 1, 2010: Even though I tried to talk him out of it, The Comedian sent a couple of DIW plants to one of RAW's TV tapings to cause ruckus. It completely backfired as the RAW fans absolutely turned on the plants untill security escorted them out of the arena. Argh...just when things were looking good....

February, Week 2, 2010: DIW held another successful "Blood, Sweat & Beers" show. Although the crowd was extremely small, I thought the show came off well. Once the feuds and storylines start rolling I think we'll have the interest of Hardcore Wrestling fans.

February, Week 3, 2010: I've always been a fan of Tag Team Wrestling and ever since I joined the DIW booking team, I was determined to build a solid Tag Division. So after getting The Comedian's blessing, I went off to scout some local Tag Teams to bring into our DIW family.

Team #1: The Affliction - Anguish & Misery

The first team that I scouted was The Affliction. While Anguish and Misery look very unique, Anguish has little to no stamina. He looked like he was ready to pass out during one of their tag matches. While Misery may be looked at again in the future, it doesn't look like The Affliction will be in DIW any time soon.

Team #2: The Bat Men - Slugger & Syrus

Slugger and Syrus are two brawlers who carry Baseball Bats with them to ringside. While they don't look like monsters, these two have a very interesting look. The Bat Men look like 1980's disgruntle Baseball players who are looking for a fight. They have decent brawling skills and I can see them as being a Lower Card Tag Team.

Team #3: The Barracudas - Vaughan & Blitz Simpson

These two guys are brutal hardcore brawlers who legitimately met each other while spending time in Jail. They look like they'll fit right in with our DIW family but my only concern is their attitude. Can they get along with the other members of the DIW roster?

Team #4: The Samoan Demolition - King Malietoa & The Brisbane Devil

Two large and scary looking Samoan wrestlers. The Samoan Demolition impressed me with their brawling skills and their menacing look. If they can improve their wrestling skills a bit they can be one of DIW's top Tag Teams.

Team #5: The S & M Connection - Smasher & Mauler

Another very large and menacing tag team. While they have decent brawling skills nothing really stood out during their tag match. I think that the S & M Connection would fit in the DIW roster but I don't know if now is the right time for them.

February, Week 4, 2010: So after some scouting I was able to sign 3 teams to the DIW roster. The Bat Men, The Samoan Demolition & The Barracudas all have been signed. I really think with a solid Tag Team division, we'll be able to stand out from all of the other wrestling promotions.

Show kicks off with a no holds barred tag team grudge match. The Chairmen of DIW, Asylum & Milton Hittlespitz live up to their name by smashing Tombstone and Wez Dobberly over their heads with chairs that they brought out to ringside with them. Tombstone gets busted open early on in the match, apparently from a stiff Chair shot. Wez applies a modified Armbar on Asylum but Milton manages to break it up with a Top Rope Chair shot. The Chair Swinging Freaks nail Wez with a Con-Chair-To, knocking Mr. Wrestling Personified out and picking up the win.

Winners by Pinfall: The Chair Swinging Freaks (9:49) E+

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/comedian.jpg

The DIW Champion, The Comedian, walks out from behind the curtain smoking a cigarette and drinking a bottle of beer. Comedian steps inside of the ring and grabs a microphone.

The Comedian: Oy! Deep Impact Wrestling, are you ready for some Blood, Sweat and Beers?!

The crowd pops. A small "D.I.W." chant starts up.

The Comedian: As most of you know, tonight I'm going to smash Mayhem Mulhoney and retain my D.I.W. Championship but before I do that I gotta make an announcement. Starting next month, D.I.W. will hold the first annual "Hardcore Tag Team Grand Prix". 8 of the of baddest tag teams in Professional Wrestling will fight for Grand Prix Trophey and a shot at the DIW Tag Team Championships!

The "D.I.W." chants become louder. Comedian stops and lets it all sink in.

The Comedian: While the Tag Team Brackets will be put up on deepimpactwrestling.com, I'm going to announce the first two teams that will fight right here, next month, in the first round! In a Barbwire Chairs Deathmatch, The Chair Swinging Freaks will take on the Samoan Demolition!! So buy your tickets right now, because this is going to be one crazy Tournament!

Comedian drops the microphone and salutes the fans. He walks to the back, stopping right infront of the curtains to drink a beer when Mayhem Mulhoney attacks him from behind. Mayhem stomps away at him untill he's pulled away by D.I.W. security.

http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/abattoir.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/diw/vs8.jpghttp://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab296/kagipw/wrestling/zen/warmonger.jpg

Warmonger uses his size and strength to toss Abattoir across the ring. Abattoir slides out of the ring, trying to espace, eventually he gets Clotheslined on the outside. Warmonger tosses the Tag Team Champion into the Steal Guard Rails. The former Champion charges and gets Backdropped over the Guard Rail and into the crowd. These two warriors brawl in the crowd and into the concession stands. Mace Mueller runs out and smashes a Garbage Can over Warmonger's head. Abattoir takes advantage of the situation and goes for a pin, 1...2...3!

Winner by Pinfall: Abattoir (11:52) E+

The Criminals beat Warmonger down untill Hatemonger runs out and saves him. Hatemonger rams Abattoir face-first into the venues walls. Mace tries to fight back but ends up getting Slammed through the merchandise table. Hatemonger drags Mueller into the ring and grabs a microphone.
