  1. The following is intended to be constructive criticism and is just an opinion, nothing more. A lot of personality here, the hair over one eye generating an aura of quiet confidence 5/5 The only tweak I'd make is to make the lighting/saturation on her hair just a bit warmer, like so: Not really into this one, the pose to me is all that well suited for the camera position, with the chin tucked in and all. Her skin also seems too textureless/too much of one tone. Her hair is good but not great; it doesn't fall as naturally as the next number of renders do. 3/5 The thing about this one is I think it's really good, the one thing bothering about it is the amount of shine in her hair, which is so intense in some area it goes from blonde to sheer white. I don't know if that's caused by intense lighting or not. If it was possible to tone that down a little so that effect isn't as powerful, I think that would improve this one an inch. 4.5/5 No complaints about this one, reminds me Victoria in her old WWE "All the things she said" titantron, where the background is purple and they tint Victoria's skin green. Hair looks realistically soft and falls into place well. 5/5 Another really good one. Very realistic, believable render. The hair looks especially good in this one, each strand really standing out and falling in a plausible way. 5/5 Always good to experiment with different poses as I know straight ahead headshots over and over can get boring. That said I think one isn't as strong because the new angle means we can't see much of her face. 4/5 This, for me, is the best of the lot. For the full render, I'll be honest, I didn't think the hair looked right, to me it appeared as if her hair was covered in a goo like substance. However, here for this headshot there isn't that problem, it just appears slightly wet. Good facial expression, skin texture looks good, nice shadows. Really good angle, the photo really fills out the space without needing to be so zoomed in we're up the characters' nose. Firing on all cyliders here. 6/5 These two renders I have a bone to pick with. When creating headshots, the main component is the head/face. What works for a full render sometimes doesn't work for a headshot and vice versa. So you have to tweak for each. In this case, and this is a common issue for people making headshots, is that in this case it feels like his head slightly is too small in comparison to his body. Not insane so, but just enough to be "off". I would imagine the solution here is either making his head larger to compensate or to get a closer shot. 3.5/5 As before, head comes off as slightly small. One other thing here is he feels a bit pale/unsaturated. 3.5/5 Very good render, very realistic. 70s vibes. The only I might have thrown in is maybe some kind of blemish such as maybe a freckle, because his skin seems very smooth despite the aura of the character looking like an older, rougher type of person. 5/5 The hair here doesn't work as well as it does for the other character with the same cut. On the other character, it flops down in a realistic-feeling way. It might just be the angle but here it doesn't look quite right. The skin tone of the character also feels off to me for whatever reason. 3/5
  2. Some will say it's cliched but she had I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! At the Disco as her first song, but to be fair it had just come out. I'm Not Okay (I Promise) by my Chemical Romance was her most played song. Found some other pics

Given the future canon of DAVE winning the east coast war, and Nemesis' debut being the major event that turns the tide in DAVE's favour along with Phil Vibert being the new owner at the start of 1997, DAVE are kinda in a rebranding phase. Any additions to their roster would be mostly low level guys who would be cut when DAVE cherry picked the warring rosters, with tag teams and locally based wrestlers being particulary welcome here.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SWF</span></strong>: They need about 2 wrestlers, and probably some more non-wrestlers for fun. Having picked up a bunch of workers when I removed their former child company NEW, the SWF roster had a big of an influx of young, low level talent. The SWF Training Facilities could do with a couple of graduates from the class of 94 (set to December, like the 05 class was in canon) so that would be ideal. But really, if you have a fun idea for a character at any level below the main event I'd be happy to hear about them, the SWF could do with some fun new blood.</p><p> </p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">DAVE</span></strong>: </p><p> During the 90s, one of the biggest underground cultural things happening in New York was the "<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_Kids" rel="external nofollow">Club Kids</a>"; a group of mostly gay men who became notorious personalities in NYC's club scene due to their ultra-flamboyant persona they would adopt on nights out. However by 1996 as the group descended into heavy drug use their behaviour became unhinged, eventually culminating in one of the leaders, Michael Alig, of the group/scene murdering another, pretty much signalling the demise of the Club Kids. IRL it spawned two documentaries <em>Party Monster: The Shockumentary</em> (1998) and <em>Glory Daze: The Life and Times of Michael Alig</em> (2015) as well as a feature film <em>Party Monster</em> (2003) that starred Macaulay Culkin and Seth Green. Supposedly SNL character Stefan was directly inspired by Party Monster. </p><p> </p><p> IRL In wrestling rave/club stuff was influential as well. ECW tried to tap into a bit, with both Tajiri and Al Snow coming out to the sounds of the Prodigy, with Al Snow's entrance famously becoming an entire mini-rave filled with thumping music, wild camera zooms, dancing and of course headbanging. The Ring of Honor Stable <em>Special K</em>, which operated around 2002, was a club/raver gimmick stable inspired by what was going on in the late 90s/early 00s. In the C-Verse, Rave/club culture is canonically influential, with DAVE itself hosting an "Annual WrestleRave" and the wrestlers Rave and Trance showing up in the UK in the mid-00s.</p><p> </p><p> Based on the above, a rave character might be an idea for the DAVE roster: Either a fun, bubbly, a little bit out of their mind babyface that's easy to get behind, or a sinister face painted "Party Monster" if you want to go down the heel route.</p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SWF</span></strong>: In my old 2001 data released in 2010, I added a character called Darius Carter to the SWF roster. A young black journeyman brawler, last time I had him debuting in 1998, but that could be retconned to 1996 if needed. I probably overdid his stats the last time.</p>

If the Edmonton Outlaws are starting around that time, and you wanted to build up the lore/interweave the C-Verse history, you could suggest that the Edmonton Outlaws were inspired by them.</p>
  8. I made this logo for HWA but I'm not sure if it's too serious looking for not. It's intended to invoke the Afrocentric vibes of the era.
  9. User "OhioDevil" When you upload your "small" image, can I suggest you make small a separate tag? Adding "sm" to the wrestler's name makes it an entirely new tag. So for example if I search for "One Man Army", your small version doesn't show up, it's in the separate category of "One_Man_Army_sm" So for example the tag for a small One Man Army should look like this: "Cornellverse" "One_Man_Army" "Small" "Guide" (or "Scout", whichever one he was)

  11. Site Update --------------- Thumbnails on TEWbooru have now been increased from 125x125 pixels at 75% quality to 150x150 pixels at 100% quality, allowing users to directly save images from the main page. Some of you may need to clear you caches to see the difference in image quality. The easiest way to do this will be to press Ctrl + F5 on your keyboards.

It might be better if the name didn't specify a location. So while "Emerald City Wrestling" might be a good name for a Seattle based Stoner promotion, it's also a bit limiting. </p><p> </p><p> "Red Light Wrestling" or something based off the idea of a "Red Life District" is another idea I had but I'm not happy with that either.</p>

Primarly, it's going to be really handy for finding alts and rerenders of your favourite characters. </p><p> </p><p> Currently people are uploading a lot of C-Verse stuff but there's no reason Thunderverse alts and rerenders can't also be uploaded as the tagging system allows users to seperate out the things they don't want to see. </p><p> </p><p> The url for the site itself is </p><p> <a href="https://theo.minuspoint.com/tewbooru/post/list" rel="external nofollow"><strong>https://theo.minuspoint.com/tewbooru/post/list</strong></a></p><p> </p><p> When/if there's a 2020 Thunderverse alt thread I might post the full "introductory" post that I posted in the C-Verse rerender and alts threads, just to make sure it catches everyone's eyes.</p>
  14. If people would like to make a real world booru, that might be an idea, but they'll have to look into setting it up themselves. As I said in the OP, TEWbooru was essentially gifted to us from someone in the same digital tribe as me. He's hosting it on his own personal website, which is why TEWbooru is not going to have any ads. Since TEWbooru was sort of a favour to me, I'd feel like I'd be pushing it asking for a second site. Now, as I understand, the Booru Project at http://www.booru.org do offer the opportunity to create a booru for few, however I think even SFW booru on that network probably carry ads. I did see that the owners/operators of the site as losing money and other stuff so I wasn't sure about going with them. The software to run a booru is, I think, open-source but you need a bit of technical knowledge to host it.
  15. Original / Multiplied Original / Multiplied Hey London, I took some of those renders and placed them in GIMP, separated the background and character into two layers, duplicated the character layer and used the multiply mode. In my opinion, it makes the light look a bit more natural. It also makes the colours a bit more saturated and less pale, which in my view is good because it contrasts more strongly against the light and bright C-Verse background.
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="TheWho87" data-cite="TheWho87" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49950" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> Are these tags editable to the uploader or can they only be done on upload?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I believe any registered user can edit the tags on any image. I'm presuming only people from the community are going to be using this site so I've no reason not to trust them with that ability </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="TheWho87" data-cite="TheWho87" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49950" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Would uploaders have the power to delete their uploads or would that only be an admin thing, for example if someone uploaded the same impage twice or uploaded an improved verison of something they already posted.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> In the current setup, I believe only admins have the power to delete an image</p>
  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="TheWho87" data-cite="TheWho87" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49950" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Is this intended for C-Verse stuff or can real world get involved?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You know, for some reason I hadn't considered real world stuff before. But yes, I suppose in theory you could. <strong><em>However</em></strong>, I'm going to say right now now it's much better suited to fictional rerenders and alts than it is Real World stuff. </p><p> </p><p> This is because every image (ideally) needs to be tagged as you're going along, and you can only mass upload up to 10 images at a time. So for example, you couldn't just upload 1000 real world worker cuts at once. You'd have to manually add all your Shawn Michaels cuts at once, and then all your Steve Austins, and your Hulk Hogans, and etc </p><p> </p><p> I suppose you could add guys from the same promotion all at once under the same tags, or something like that. But, yeah, I suspect real-world mod makers would find the process quite tedious, specifically because of the tagging. I really don't want uploaders dumping tons of random real world cuts under the single tag of "Jamie_Cuts" or "Real_World" or whatever. </p><p> </p><p> The point of TEWbooru is that if I search "Steve Austin", I can immediately find Steve Austin. I don't want to have to shift through mountains of stuff to do it. Like if real world cuts were allowed, I'd want people to appropriately tag the images. So for example, if I specifically wanted a 1997 Austin image, the upload better have gone to the work of tagging his Austin uploads with the years on them. We wouldn't want a case where people are looking for a 90s Steve Austin and all they can see are 2015 Austins. The system is designed to be specific. </p><p> </p><p> So yeah, while I'm hesitant to say "no, that's banned", I've got the vibe that it probably wouldn't work unless you're willing to take the time to tag all your images as you go along. </p><p> </p><p> It would work best for real world event logos, promotion logos and banners and things like that. But for the wrestlers, it'd be tricky.</p>

  19. Introducing TEWbooru What is TEWbooru? TEWbooru is a dedicated TEW image booru. An "image booru" is a website that allows users to upload/host and extensively tag images. Why do we need TEWbooru? JSilver very helpfully previously created the "TEW Download Center" on Photobucket and on Dropbox. As many of you may be aware, Photobucket has now become extremely awkward with it's watermarking of images and the stripping of it's ability to tag images. Dropbox is handy but cumbersome to navigate. TEWbooru allows users to host images just like Imgur or Photobucket for free but also allows users to rapidly navigate a huge number of images and find exactly what they're looking for. Users can apply multiple tags at once to create highly specific searches. TEWbooru will allow you to search the work of your favourite artist, or your favourite wrestler, or your favourite promotion in record time. How do I use TEWbooru? Anyone can browse TEWbooru. To find an image, simply apply your search terms in the box in the navigation area. Please note that currently TEWbooru is only set up for demonstration/proof of concept and that it will take many more uploads for it to reach it's potential. Let me show you an example of the search functionality of TEWbooru: Here I've searched for "Blueglass Championship Wrestling" and it's showing me all the results currently uploaded But I then I add a second tag in the nav box and I can narrow it down even more. There is no limit to the number of tags I can apply to narrow down my search, as long as that tags already exists. How do I upload to TEWbooru? You are required to make an account to upload to TEWbooru and nothing else. Once you're registered you may begin uploading images to the site When uploading to TEWbooru, we ask you to apply as many appropriate tag as you can think of Let's look at an upload I did earlier as an example: As you can see, I put a number of tags on this image. When creating a multiple word tag, it's very important you use an underscore instead of a space to link the two words. So in this case it's "Julius_Moor". If I had used a space instead, it would create two separate tags "Julius" and "Moor". When tagging the creator/Artist of the image, please use the prefix "Artist:". As you can see in the image, I've used two Artist tags because JSilver created the original rerender, but then Kamchatka subsequently did an alt of it. So Artist:JSilver and Artist:Kamchatka were used as tags. Artist tags are coloured orange to help differentiate them from the other standard tags. Up to 10 images at a time can be uploaded, provided they're all going to use the same tag. So let's say Johnny X did 5 different Eddie Peak rerenders. I could upload all them at once under the tags "Rerender" "Eddie_Peak" "Artist:Johnny_X" "Cornellverse". TEWBooru Rules: 150x150 or 500x40 images only please, ie Wrestler images, Company logos, Company banners, Event logos and Championship titles, that sort of thing No full renders. Due to bandwidth limits, we must request that users do not upload full renders to the site TEW related content only please Please take the time to tag your images. Please remember to use _ between words instead of spaces if you want to link them. So for example, Steven_Parker. When tagging the artist, please add the prefix Artist: Who created TEWbooru? Even though I knew there was an issue with Photobucket hosting TEW images since 2016, and even though I had seen and used Image boorus for many years, so for some reason it never clicked for me (Celt) that an Image Booru for TEW could help solve the problem. Once I put 2 and 2 together, I contacted another member of the /wooo/ community on 420chan who had created /wooo/booru, a dedicated image booru relating to /wooo/ content, and inquired about how image boorus work and what to do. The Excel very kindly offered to host TEWbooru on his own website for free provided we don't burn straight through the bandwidth. With the size of our images being so small data-wise, I felt confident that wouldn't happen. So here I am now proposing it to the community. Hey, you uploaded my image without asking? Given that this is basically just another version of both the TEW Photobucket project and the TEW Dropbox, I'm taking it that most people are not going to object to their stuff going on another platform/site, but if anyone does, I'll be happy to remove their stuff if they don't want it there. When creating the screenshots I just threw a bunch of various images in there just so I could demonstrate what exactly this site is and what it's supposed to do. >>>CLICK HERE TO ACCESS TEWBOORU<<< We'd also suggest you bookmark the site since remembering the url might be tricky for some peeple

An "image booru" is a website that allows users to upload/host and extensively tag images. </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Why do we need TEWbooru?</span></strong></p><p> JSilver very helpfully previously created the "TEW Download Center" on Photobucket and on Dropbox. As many of you may be aware, Photobucket has now become extremely awkward with it's watermarking of images and the stripping of it's ability to tag images. Dropbox is handy but cumbersome to navigate. </p><p> </p><p> TEWbooru allows users to host images just like Imgur or Photobucket for free but also allows users to rapidly navigate a huge number of images and find exactly what they're looking for. Users can apply multiple tags at once to create highly specific searches. TEWbooru will allow you to search the work of your favourite artist, or your favourite wrestler, or your favourite promotion in record time. </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">How do I use TEWbooru?</span></strong></p><p> Anyone can browse TEWbooru. When creating a multiple word tag, <strong>it's very important you use an underscore instead of a space to link the two words. </strong> So in this case it's "Julius_Moor". If I had used a space instead, it would create two separate tags "Julius" and "Moor".</p><p> </p><p> When tagging the creator/Artist of the image, please use the prefix "Artist:". As you can see in the image, I've used two Artist tags because JSilver created the original rerender, but then Kamchatka subsequently did an alt of it. Once I put 2 and 2 together, I contacted another member of the /wooo/ community on 420chan who had created /wooo/booru, a dedicated image booru relating to /wooo/ content, and inquired about how image boorus work and what to do.
