<p>Just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for tag teams to get from F to E (and therefore be considered a regular team)? Or any other info on the subject?</p><p> </p><p>

The letter grades are based off the same percentages as everything else (see the FAQ thread for a full chart). For tag experience, every pairing starts at zero, and gains 1% every time they tag together (only in vs2 matches; 3vs3 won't help). So, it takes 100 matches together to max out a team.

Oh, and as a tip, pre-show matches are great for building experience. If I've got the cash to pay them all (or have them on written contracts), I quite often have a 2vs2vs2vs2 match on the pre-show. All four teams gain 1 point of Experience, and the more people are in matches together, the more people gain skills.

If you invest in your young guys, and build a tag division, almost anyone can put up decent grades for you.

Cheers!

Because I'm a little bored (and trying to think up an angle for my next show), I found the letter grade data:

F: 0 - 15.0 (0-15 matches)

E: 15.1 - 22.5 (16-22)

D: 22.6 - 30.0 (23-30)

C-: 30.1 - 40.0 (31-40)

C: 40.1 - 50.0 (41-50)

C+: 50.1 - 60.0 (51-60)

B-: 60.1 - 66.0 (61-66)

B: 66.1 - 74.0 (67-74)

B+: 74.1 - 80.0 (75-80)

A: 80.1 - 90.0 (81-90)

A*: 90.1 - 100 (91+)

Wait, I once managed to get a tag team from F to E after a 3vs3 match.

Cheers for the info guys, that is all awesome to know when playing a tag teams only promotion ;)

EDIT: Just realised that means that a whole year on weekly TV plus monthly PPV will only raise a brand new team to C+, and around 17 months to rise to A*, ouch!

Ah! I just realized what I'd messed up. I was thinking of tag team chemistry. THAT, you can only discover when it's just two guys per team. There are so many intricacies with this game that sometimes they get switched around in my head. Also, I play more TEW2010 than '05 nowadays, so I'm a little rusty on some of the stuff.

MJ, of course it takes a long time to get A* Experience. If it didn't, it wouldn't be special. Don't worry, though; you start getting bonuses long before hitting A*.

Yeah, chemistry is awesome (both in tags and singles). Experience is also great. That's why it's so great to be able to find two guys with chemistry, and then focus on building their experience up. Pretty soon (don't forget, you can run multiple matches per show) you've got a tandem that can really do great things.

Well, yeah, I`m pretty sure, since I did lots of 4vs4, 3vs3 etc matches with my regular tag teams. They did gain experience.

So if I have a 3 man team all tagging up with each other (resulting in 3 teams) will a 3vs3 match increase the experience of all 3 teams?

No, tag experience will only go up in matches where the sides have 2 people, anything more on one side won't result in any tag ream experience gains.
