The show starts with Team Penn in the dressing room celebrating. However, Phil Collins seems very removed with his teammates. BJ Penn notices and calls him out on it.

"What's up, Phil?"

"Nothin, just Bradley was a buddy of mine and I reall-"

"So what, we won. Your team won."

"I know, but..."

"But? But nothing, we won. Be happy, end of story."

Team Penn is growing sick of Phil Collins. We see Gray encouraging his fighters, saying that a loss won't happen again for the rest of the season. He gets his team right back out in the gym to get ready for the next fight.

Back at the house, all of Team Penn is haning out, except Phil Collins. In his interview, Collins says he really isn't motivated being around other Team Penns members. Then, when they're at the gym, he goes too BJ Penn.

"Coach...I can't fight on this team anymore."

"What?"

"I can't fight with these guys any more..."

"Ok, give me your shirt, you're done."

Penn takes Collins' Team Penn shirt, and Collins leaves. Dana is there when Team Maynard shows up, and he sits down with Gray.

"Alright, so BJ kicked Phil Collins off the team..."

"Alright."

"So we can either send him home, or he can join your team."

"Honestly...he just doesn't have the drive. We don't need him."

Dana then breaks the news too Phil, who is forced to go to the house, pack his bags, and leave.

Penn stands up and announces the fight.

"Alright, so we want to keep control so we decided that Tarec Saffiedine will fight Kyle Bracey. Let's go fellas."

We get the training montage, and then an interview with Gray.

"Tarec might have the best skill set here, but there's something about Kyle that you can't over look. He's more than ready to knuckle up and goe toe-to-toe with anyone. I think he'll really surprise Tarec out there."

Fight:

Tarec Saffiedine vs. Kyle Bracey

-A much more even fight than everyone expected, Bracey showed up for this one. First round went to Tarec, and Kyle took round 2. It was a back-and-forth round 3, but the judges scored it for Tarec.

Winner: Tarec Saffiedine via. UD (5:00 in rd. 3)

Team Penn celebrates now that they have full control with two straight wins, knowing that the momentum is all theirs. "Let's go!" Penn yells as the camera fades.

MacGrath (Penn)

Noke (Maynard)

We see Penn talking too his team.

"They're on the ropes guys, they are shook! We have them in the palm of our hands, this is all us, they aren't winning anything for the rest of the show...let's go guys, WE GOT THIS!"

Maynard seems upset with the two straight losses so far this season. He gives his team some inspiring words, then Dana gathers the two teams.

"Ok guys, so last season we implimentated a new idea and we're doing the same this season. The next fight day will be our 'marathon day' where the last four first round fights will take place. Team Penn will pick the first fight, then from there, it depends who will win. Both coaches, please have a list of fights ready to go so we can keep everything moving."

Both coaches seem ready for the big day.

Penn makes the first fight announcement:

Dana tells us since there is still one guy left on Team Maynard to fight (Nick Calandrino), so Dana tells Team Penn to pick one of their eliminated fighters, that didn't fight today, to face Nick. They huddle, and settle upon Luis Romas. Romas seems greatful for his second chance.

With the Quarter finals set, Dana tells all the fighters that the final 8 will fight on the same day, similar to the past round, and he'll be the one to pick the fights. Penn and Maynard don't seem too happy by that.

Back at the house, Team Maynard talks about how they know two of them will have to fight one another because of how everything played out. Before this, Gray told his team that whoever had to fight one another, he wouldn't coach, he would just watch the fight.

Back at the gym, we see BJ getting his guys in shape for the fights. He tells them their lives are so close to changing forever, and they can't let it slip away from them now. "It's right in front of you, so go and get it."

*Commercial*

We get back and Dana announces the fights, and they then begin

Fight 1:

Sam Liera vs. Matt MacGrath

-Liera snuck into the 2nd round, but couldn't find the magic to make it to the semis, as Mac locked in a standing guillotine for the winner.

Winner: Matt MacGrath via. submission (3:11 in rd. 1)

Fight 2:

Kyle Noke vs. Luke Zachrich

-A tough battle, that saw a sudden death round. Both guys were gassed in the end, but only man could win.

Winner: Luke Zachrich via. UD (5:00 in rd. 3)

Fight 3:

Tarec Saffiedine vs. Nick Calandrino

-A great showing from Tarec, and a late surge from Nick led to a pretty decent fight, but Team Penn sneaks out another victory.

Winner: Tarec Saffiedine via. majority (5:00 in rd. 3)

Fight 4:

William Spicer vs. Lyle Beerbohm

-A back and forth fight that showed a good showing from Spicer, but in the end, Lyle just end him out.

Winner: Lyle Beerbohm via. split (5:00 in rd. 3)

*Commercial*

The end of the episode has Dana announcing the semi-final match-ups.

"Good fights, guys. The semis are set, the fights will be Lyle Beerbohm against Matt MacGrath, and Tarec Saffiedine against Luke Zachrich. Bring your A-game, fellas."

We see BJ telling his fighters, "One of you guys are winning this show. I'd put money on it." Then we see Gray pulling Lyle aside, giving him a good inspirational speech. "The competition is none, this is yours for the taking."

Semi Finals:

Lyle Beerbohm vs. Matt MacGrath

Tarec Saffiedine vs. Luke Zachrich

The show starts with a depleated, let down Team Maynard waking up in the house. Lyle Beerbohm shares his thoughts:

"It's a great burden, you know, fighting for basically the entire team. The guys told me not to look at it that way, but that's my team, I represent them, as well as me. I refuse too lose at this point...I have too much on the line for me to lose this fight. I'm going to win."

The three finalists of Team Penn are sitting in a room, dicussing the road to the semi finals. They all agree that whatever one, or two, makes it to the finals, that they will all have equal support. The unity amongst Team Penn is very strong.

*Commercial*

The night before the fight, there is a cook out. All the coaches are there, and everyone is eating food, drinking a few beers, and just having fun. However, we see Lyle in the back yard, meditating when he is approached by one of his coaches, Randy Couture. The Natural gives him a great pep talk, and it seems as if Lyle took it to heart, and is ready to fight.

The night goes by, and everyone is in bed. We now see the division amongst the final 4. None can sleep, and they all walk around the house, passing one another as if they didn't even notice them

*commercial*

Fight 1:

Lyle Beerbohm vs. Matt MacGrath

-Whatever Couture told Beerbohm, he focused on it greatly. This was over before it even began.

Winner: Lyle Beerbohm via. TKO (0:52 in rd. 1)

Gray seems elated with the showing. He has an ear-to-ear smile as he lifts Lyle off the ground and tells him, "One more win, one more fu*kin win!" BJ is there to console MacGrath after the loss.

*Commercial*

Fight 2:

Tarec Saffiedine vs. Luke Zachrich

-A great showing from Tarec, really cleared up any speculation that he was just coasting through this competition, with a systematical picking apart of Zachrich.

Winner: Tarec Saffiedine via. UD (5:00 in rd. 3)

Dana announces the final fight, and Tarec and Lyle square off, both grilling one another. When Dana tells him too shake hands they both mumble something to one another. Tarec says something along the lines of, "It's over when I put these hands on you," and then Lyle gives him a little smirk and says, "My hands will be down waiting for it..." They share a little smirk, bothing feeling the tention.

We see Dana going over to BJ and Gray and say, "This sh*t is going to be over the charts!"
