The Infamous, Rebellious, Suicidal… 4C; The Evolution of GREED

Gotta say I did <strong>not</strong> expect Flash to turn in the end. Loving Raj's persona and the new Jacob Jett alt. Clayton Hawthorne also intrigues me and I'm definitely gonna continue reading, though I kinda fell out of any sort of predicting habits.

It was a lot of fun to craft the whole Steve Flash scenario as I really wanted to add a high level of realism to it all. Instead of just having him turn into a 'bad guy' and simply change his mannerisms like he was always that way, This way it seems very realistic as to why he would make such a decision. As you can expect, though, there will be more development to this scenario as the events come and go.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Rayelek" data-cite="Rayelek" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="27816" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Gotta say I did <strong>not</strong> expect Flash to turn in the end. Predicting isn't always important if I know that people are at least reading. haha. Predictions are nice, yes, as it's the easiest way to know that you have some 'followers'. However, if you're still reading then I'm totally cool with knowing that as well. Ultimately, It's more fun to write these things knowing that you have some people who are willing to give it a read once it's up; instead of just letting it fall out of place.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> Didn't jhd1 do a great job on the new Jacob Jett alt? - $30,000

That is the glaringly bad number that formed after my 2 month stint with 4C. I knew that we were going to lose something, seeing how I was attempting to cement a more ‘rounded’ roster; however, little did I know that such a staggering amount would wind up in the financial report. Luckily for me, G-Man (Troy Winner) is not one to review any of the companies literature. Unlike Mitch [Naess], Troy was more of a simple wrestling fan turned company owner. Realistically, He wasn’t known for relaying an ‘iron fisted grip’; instead, playing the role of a delightful, dimwitted, spectator who just so happens to have his name cemented as the companies top authority. Never flexing said authority as he was much more interested in joyfully witnessing each event as if he had no idea what was coming next; a true lover of the ‘sport’ that he had followed since he was little..err… a child.

While it was a staggering amount, I wasn’t planning on changing our hiring practices much. Why? While 4C did have a pretty strong roster to start with from a talent perspective (ie: Davis Wayne Newton, Frankie Dee, Jacob Jett, Raj, etc.); It was in my best review that we needed a little bit more in which to potentially challenge in the future. The act leading up to my hiring was starting to grow stale, utilizing the same roster for the last few years, so it felt in our best interest to gently force the underdog promotion to accept new names, faces, and personas. So far, such a practice has brought us a great deal of added talent; so, it seems like the decision to re-develop the roster has been successful thus far.

With that said, after further review, speaking to those I trust the most (Flash and Ali), I’ve decided to strip our live events back to one a month; versus the two-a-month format we’ve been running with for the last 3 months. This will allow us to focus each month on one great event; staggering the ‘home’ of said event between Ontario and Quebec. This will also help us to promote our events in a stronger manner as we can sell our entire roster under one roof; for one night a month only!

In the end, It seems easier for all involved.

The mark of a great mind is not one who makes a decision and sticks by it regardless. A great mind, an inquisitive mind, will always find another outcome if the first choice was proven to be a hindrance instead of a positive.

<hr color="black">

What we learned:

* 4C will go back to one show a month.

* Said monthly show will take place in Onatrio or Quebec as 4C alternates between which place will house every other event.

* Each event will be set to a 'medium' level. (Use to be SMALL)

* Each event will last for 90 minutes.

<p>Hmm, it looks to me as if you have no faces left in the upper/main event... Anyway, great show as always, looking forward to more! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Genuinely disappointed that you have to strip your show amounts back, Eisen. I just want to say, this diary is so complex, so well done, so constructive. It is a herculean effort and extremely creating. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Wow! What an awesome event this was--top to bottom an awesome event that puts so many things in the clear for everyone. Let's get to the review yo!!</p><p>

<em>Wow, Raj is--I dunno how to desribe this slap head. One month, he's a flippin' rapper and this month he is the lost son of the blind guy off of Star Trek. <strong>Steve Flash and Jacob Jett defeated The Gatekeepers via DQ when Steve Flash struck his own partner; Jacob Jett with a steel chair. </strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Like the Comic Book Guy once said: "There is no emoticon for what I am feeling!" That is how I feel about this bout's ending. A great cliffhanger to go out on with Flash doing what he has rarely done in his career: go heel. A heel Flash equals money pure and simple. Poor Jett, if he wasn't so much of a d*ckhead I would truly feel sorry for him but a big part of me realizes that he put himself in this position. Flash did what most of the locker room wanted to do but I can tell that none of them would have done it quite like this, yo. And I think Greed was looking over my shoulder while playing my wrestling game on my lil laptop, Wrestling's Totally Extreme, and saw my group called the Four Horsemen made up of four grapplers in the McMahonVerse (a made up world idiots!) and pretty much stole the idea from me. No more Internet use in the 4C locker room for now on. 5 outta 5 "YOU'RE FIRED~!"s for the fact that Flash went heel. Good night, folks!!!!!!!!!11111!!!</em></p>

<p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">Tonight marks my little vay-kay away from the GDS boards as, in 16.5 hours, I'll be standing at the end of the isle way waiting for my bride to be. </span><img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> With that said, and with a new job starting right after the wedding on monday, I may not be really able to put forth anything really new from a project perspective for 4-5 days more or less. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

From a diary standpoint, the </span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>BIGGEST</strong></span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> 4C show to date is coming next; so, I'm going to be taking awhile to craft it into a success from an in-game perspective. As my free time opens back up, I plan on posting a small review of what to expect from such a show; hinting to the overall vibe that will be set as it will 100% be an interesting, but somewhat new, style of show for 4C. Overall, It's exciting to think of what it could mean for the project as a whole as a lot of storylines will find their current situation straying into a whole new level. Pretty much, this next event will truly bring the 4C to life and add a whole new level to the project as a whole.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Anyways, Thanks for reading my rambling. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

“We’re tired of the same ole’ shindig year in and year out; this year we are dedicated to the notion of bringing something ‘new’ to the party-going masses! It’s New Year’s Eve; A night that typically calls for a certain level of unique grandeur! We feel that your company, your style of entertainment, will bring a truly unique feel to our end of the year bash; bring a little ‘craziness’ to the stagnant formula! What do you say? We’ll give you the spotlight treatment; 10 PM to 12 AM! When it’s all said and done, It’ll be the 4C that ushers in 2011 to those within Platinum Underground; a true VIP scenario for all involved!”

+ Event Coordinator for Ontario's "Platinum Underground" night club.

It is an intriguing scenario: The 4C, a relative unknown entity to most even in our home country of Canada, spearheading the entertainment for a well-known, Ontario-based, night club on, arguably, the biggest night of the year! How could anyone turn down such a situation? Again, as I said before, I may be ‘crazy’ but I’m not dumb. To not accept such an offer would be simply that: Dumb.

Some may label this as ‘selling out’; as 4C is most notably known for holding events in dreary underground heaps. Realistically, our budget pushes us into the dreary alley’s of Canada; seen as somewhat of a dingy underdog when placed up against the powerhouse organizations like NOTBPW and CGC. With all of this in mind, known for being a true ‘cult phenomenon’, some may find it uncomfortable to see the 4C gleaming in the lights of our local night life. While I can see their viewpoint, empathetically understanding the romantic perception of 4C as a ‘dreary underdog’, I was brought to 4C in which to usher us into a new generation; giving us a new focus overall.

The plans were already set: A 2 hour event; closing as the clock strikes Midnight, ending 2010 in a climactic scenario. This, alone, would be a great, unique, scenario that would draw in many looking for an ‘alternative New Year’s Eve Celebration’; however, two more surprises developed shortly after my brief business deal with the Platinum Underground club. First, the event will be hosted by the immensely beautiful, internet personality juggernaut, “blonde bombshell” from the “L.A. Nights” video: Amy Roberts.

http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy212/Greed4C/Misc%20Images/Blonde.jpg

Her daily blog, hosted by her own personal website, has been deemed as a wild success ever since it debuted in 2009. Overall, this ‘lightning strike’ of a personality will certainly bring a level of intrigue to the event as a whole. Also, along with Amy’s appearance, the wildly popular local band, “Ricky Rave and the Radical Revolvers”, will be making their “Platinum Underground” debut; standing in as a fixture of the event as a whole. From start to finish, the beloved rock-band will personally play each, and every, 4C competitors theme as they make their entrances to the ring. Needless to say, such a situation will really deliver an ‘organic’ feel to the show as a whole; giving a truly ‘live’ feel to the whole show.

More or less, This is the BIGGEST moment in 4C history thus far; working with a popular local night club in which to deliver a New Year’s Eve bash that will go down in history!

Now, the tough part starts… Putting together a card that’s indicative of such a gigantic night for all involved!

<hr color="black">

What we learned:

* The 4C will hold an 'end of the year' bash-like event within the Ontario-based night club = "Platinum Underground".

* This show will be promoted at a medium level.

* The length of the show will be 2 hours long.

* The Blonde Bombshell will host the event.

* Ricky Rave and the Radical Revolvers will be the music act for the night. ($250)

Congrats on both the new job and the upcoming wedding! :D

Good luck Eisen-verse! With both the job and the wedding!

Congrats on the wedding and the new job.

Thank you! The day went absolutely perfectly and will stand as a moment I will never forget; truly the best day of my life. Now, I'm back to reality and starting in on my new job. It's rooted in a discipline I don't have much experience with; so needless to say, I'm a little confused as to the position as a whole. That said, I'm never one to turn away from a challenge.

4C is creeping along, as you can see, with the next event being a "New Year's Eve" show; taking place in an Ontario-based Night club. I'm almost 100% booked, and will start to write-up the card pretty soon here; so, you can expect to see the post sometime toward this weekend.

Cheers.

Congrats man glad to hear everything went off without a hitch. Don't worry about the new job I'm sure you'll learn it soon enough.

I like the new years Eve thing as well, its cool to see someone use the celebrity and band feature of the game then go on to explain it in a way that makes sense

Thank you all! I'm exhausted from a big weekend and now jumping into a whole new industry where i'm feeling a little over-my-head. ha. Needless to say, I haven't been on very much this week as I pretty much crash when I get home.

I really wanted to give 4C a huge, drop-out, drag-out, event for an 'end of the year bash'. Anything can happen, all will go-down, and nothing is impossible to say the least. The layout will be a little more 'live' from the aspect of no taped promos/angles; but rather, everything taking place within the ringside area. Overall, this will both be a challenge and will bring something new to the event. I'm excited through all of this.

Sorry for being late but CONGRATS~!!!!! In spite of my *ahem* situation, I would suggest all people get married because it is a rare feeling. Being in love is good for your health and I wish for everyone to feel what I've felt and what you are feeling right now. Here's hoping and praying for a long and love-filled marriage E-V!:D
