CampCornetteNWA
Ok, So, I'm playing as TNA and I'm up to Global level two years into my game. I tried to steal David Hart Smith away from the WWE and he even entered negotiations with me. Problem was, he didn't want to have a written agreement because of other opportunities. Yet, when I offered him a pay-per appearance deal, his response was that he expected a written deal from a company of my size.... I have no clue how to remedy this situation. Anyone else run into something similar to this?
ampulator
What it means is he WOULD sign with you, but he likes working for the WWE.
CampCornetteNWA
So, this happens on a routine basis? Is there anything I can do to sway a talent like that?
Bigpapa42
Be bigger. Are you still behind the WWE in size, importance, or prestige?

ampulator
It's more like they saying "what the heck, I might as well listen to what you hae to say" instead of serious negotiations. They don't feel they should reject you outright, but they DO want to see what you can offer. Try offering them a short-term deal or an Exclusive PPA to see what happens.
