Here is some amatuer video of "The Scorpion" Scott Stevens training for his big tag team turmoil tournament matches this weekend that was leaked to The League's web page.

TAG TEAM TURMOIL: TEASERS

  • Over three and a half hours of wrestling on this card...

  • One match in the first round lasting nearly as long as the other three combined...

  • A sixteen-minute match that got an F rating (and thus why I do not do popularity changes for tag matches...)

  • ...there's really nothing else I can say without giving parts of the results away. You'll have to tune in tomorrow night to see who takes home the prize!

I can't wait for the tag tournament. So, is there going to be a special guest commentator?

Okay. I'll be fine if you don't even have him as a guest commentator, so don't think that I'll be upset if you don't put him in the show. But if he is in the show, that would be awesome. :p

Here's what happens.

Scorpion and his partner win the tournament.

Warlord Pain comes in to congradulate them and rambles on about his time as a tag champion.

Scorp. and Sean grow tired of the rambling and beat him down and Scorpion breaks Pain's back over his knee like so in honor of Lucha Libre legend El Asso Wipo.

That is a nice dream. Too bad you don't win. Max and Diamond will be the winners.

Tag Team Turmoil, Season Two

Boise, Idaho

November 27, 2010

<object width="28" height="25"><embed src="

Despite a physical crowd of 4,021 in attendance, the arena is as loud as it would be if it were sold out, as the noise from thirty-three different satellite feeds echoes throughout the arena. Overall, it is a raucous crowd (if one could call it that) as we shift to ringside and our announce team.

Bob Sinclair: With the start of the holiday season ahead of us, welcome to The League's first Tag Team Turmoil event! Bob Sinclair, here to call the action as always, along with Frankie Garnett. We were supposed to be joined by a guest commentator tonight, but he has yet to arrive. Frankie, any ideas as to the cause of this?

Frankie Garnett: We're in the middle of nowhere, Bob. He probably got lost.

Bob Sinclair: I...see. Anyhow, folks, tonight is all about teamwork, and having enough trust in your partner to have your back through three matches tonight. Since some of the pairings have been rumored to have been arguing about entrance themes, and the fact that we really can't go beyond our four-hour pay-per-view window, our Commissioner has decided that there will be no entrance themes, and both teams will enter simultaneously from opposite sides of the arena.

Frankie Garnett: I don't get it, Bob.

Bob Sinclair: Well, Frankie, since we're about to have the first match of the night, you'll see it in action right about...now.

MATCH 1: Ly Quang Bao (24%) & The Phoenix (38%) vs. Sebastian Moore (24%) & Robbie Maynard (27%)

No sooner does Bob get the words out than the two teams in question emerge from the back. There is no fanfare, except for the graphics that come up on-screen to introduce each pair as they walk to the ring. There is a bit of discussion, and two of the four step out onto the apron as the ref calls for the bell to get the match underway.

It just hadn't been his day. First he got caught in a back-up at the state line, due to an overturned tractor trailer, and then had to detour around a bunch of Boise State students protesting their football team's loss to Nevada the day before. By the time he got there, he knew the show had already started, but he wasn't sure how far along it had gotten. With a growl, he slammed the car door shut—unaware that the force of the door closing shattered the window and put a large crack in the windshield—and hurried inside the arena. As he emerged into the main arena proper, he saw the ring being dismantled, and the screens being taken down.

Scott Stevens

Boise, Idaho: Virtual Arena - After Show Press Conference

November 27, 2010, 10:30 p.m. local time

(We are in a jam packed press conference and we see the Super Century and Shawn Arrows leaving after talking about to the media about being one of the underdogs and ending up winning the Tag Team Turmoil Tournament. As the winners leave, the reporters get their notes and questions for the next interviewer and it's none other than The League's megastar, Scott Stevens, who is looking quite snazzy with his custom made Armani suit and black sunglasses on.)

(One reporter begins to ask a question but Scorpion cuts him off.)

Scorpion: First off, I just want to give all praise, honor, and thanks to God for giving me the ability to comeback and try and help this team win. Been through a grueling three weeks to get back and help this team win and I just couldn't do it without God's help. We came up short today, but we are still a team and no one person lost this match. You got to give credit to Diamond and Maxx for what they did, they came in here and pulled out the win.

Reporter with the Boise Times: Before you got pinned, were their any opportunities for you to maybe make the hot tag and get Sean in before you took the steel ring post shot?

Scorpion: I mean their was plenty of opportunities throughout the whole match, you just can't pinpoint that last thing. You know I made the tag when he called for them or when the time arose when it was beneficial to the team. We just came up short.

Reporter: Were you limited due to your previous injuries at all?

Scorpion: I wasn't. I wasn't limited, I had all faith in God and I believe that I could get back in that ring in a timely manner and do what I did today. And I couldn't have done it without God.

Reporter: How tough is this loss for Sean?

Scorpion: Look, listen this isn't about Sean. You guys can point the finger at him, you can talk about the vacation, and if you do that it's really unfair. It's really unfair. That's my teammate, my quarterback, and if you guy's do that it's unfair. We lost as a team. We lost as a team man.

(Scorpion sniffles and wipes nose and eyes.)

Reporter: It's got to be frustrating to be one of the favorites and to come up short like that.

Scorpion: This loss hurts because I know this team is dedicated. We put in a lot of hardwork to get where we are and we didn't execute and we knew in order to win this match we had to make quick tags and control the pace of the match and we didn't do that.

Reporter: Was there something they did that just shut your plans down?

Scorpion: No, we just missed our opportunity. I mean we made them and other times we didn't. We know in this tournament every decision is costly, every decision is magnified. You can go through the entire match and point out miscue and mistakes that dig us in a hole.

Reporter: Did you feel this team was destined to win the tournament?

Scorpion: By far I know we were. We didn't do enough to assure that and that's really shameful on our part cause we know we have the talent on this team. We have the talent on this team.

Reporter: Do you second guess the decision between Sean and yourself to let Sean start the match?

Scorpion: You can't second guess ones decision. Once the decision is made, you go out and wrestle. Just like a play in football, once a play is called you go and run it. It's up to us as wrestlers to go out there and make the plays.

Reporter: What is it about defending Sean like you did that got you so emotional?

Scorpion: Because it's unfair and I've been through it. I've been through it, I know what it's like. He gives it his all everyday.

Reporter: What makes you think that's going to happen?

Scorpion: What's going to happen?

Reporter: To be criticized individually.

Scorpion: Cause I know, I know the media. He's the quarterback of this team and win or lose it's going to fall on the quarterback's shoulders, but let it fall on the team's shoulders. It's not just one person.

Reporter: Did you say anything to him?

Scorpion: No, I went in to ice, I haven't talked to him.

Reporter: Where there certain parts of the match that didn't open up for you?

Scorpion: You can't you know pinpoint what phase of the match didn't work for us. Their were things in special teams that didn't work for us, there were things in the defense that didn't work for us. You can't just pinpoint one thing, it was a team effort and we lost.

Reporter: We know it's tough, since this team was so dominating how do you make sense of all this?

Scorpion: It's hard, I can't. I just know we both put in a lot of hardwork to get to this point and it's very disappointing specially after last year ended and obviously this year we felt we were destined to win this entire tournament. And we didn't make enough plays today.

Reporter: Is this the best relationship you've had with any tag partner?

Scorpion: I've always had good relationships with my tag partners. I've always had that, I've always had my teammate's back regardless of the situation and what you may think. I know the type of person I'm on the inside, it's you guys that judge me on the outside about what went on or what happened, I know who I am.

Reporter: Is this the worse you have felt after a loss?

Scorpion: I feel bad after every loss. During the course of the season you lose, but the good thing is if you lose you get another opportunity. With tournaments there is no other opportunity, you got to start all over from scratch and I'm going to do whatever I can next year. I'm going to take some time and do whatever I can to get us back here.

Reporter: As emotional as you are, are you taking this a little more personal in what you have accomplished this season?

Scorpion: I just look at the things I have done over the season, you know obviously the regular season don't matter when it comes to tournaments and this is evident that regular season means nothing when tournaments start it's any man's game. And we came up short today.

Reporter: One more question.

Scorpion: That's it for tonight.

Super Century climbs the turnbuckles.

Super Century hit the Flying Clothesline

The referee begins the count...

This Could Be It!

The referee's hand starts coming down...

3!

The image freezes as El Demonio pauses the screen. He's still sitting in his locker room late at night after the Tag Team Turmoil event has concluded. What little furniture there was in the room appears to be smashed and strewn about.

Demonio: Thor, I wouldn't have tagged out if I had known you were such an oaf! We just lost the match because you were clotheslined by some clown who thinks he's a superhero...I'll never forget this embarrassment. Teaming with me was a privilege for you, and this is how you repay me!? Consider yourself lucky that you're not on my schedule, but next year I'll be waiting...waiting to turn your life into a living hell!

El Demonio puts his head in his hands and sighs before quickly standing up and kicking the TV over. He grabs his gym bag and stalks out of the room without any further words.

Rumblings from someone who may have seen Nuclear sometime after the show suggest that he's not in a good mood. But having teamed up with his next opponent in two matches, Nuclear has been reminded why he prefers to fight alone... where the glory of victory and the agony of defeat can be his, and his alone. ;)

Seriously... one day, I'll promo something for Nuclear. One day! :p A win for Nuclear here... well, that'll really put the screws to SG and his relatively sucky lariat. It's pretty much a clothesline really...

ALPHA DIVISION: Robbie Maynard (3-4, 15%) vs. Ly Quang Bao (3-4, 12%)

BETA DIVISION CAGE MATCH: Thor Hammerskald (1-6, 15%) vs. Sebastian Moore (5-2, 12%)

Anyways, ShadowedFlames, what do you mean by 5 Wrestling Spirit Points?

If you look at your character's page, you'll notice that the "Wrestling Spirit" stat at the bottom of the right column has a cost listed of "N/A." That's because you can only earn points through the playoffs and special exhibition tournaments like this. So in your case, you'll earn 5 points in that stat as a result of your team winning this tournament.
