SWF: Now with added chunks

Recommended Posts

What is this? I stick my head in for a yearly cameo visit and my ol' buddy Tristram is doing C-Verse and Bigpappa is doing WCW?!

Anyway, once again you've got the makings of another masterpiece on your hands. I'm lovin' the way this thread is shaping up. No doubts one of these days you'll have the Real World/C-Verse Diary of the Month double in the bag. Fantastic stuff mate, I'll be following along for sure.

The more things change, the more the stay the same. The characters have changed, but you're still wreckin' it up. Bravo. More please.

"Listen, I'll call you back," Hank said as he clicked the cancel button his cell phone.

This is a little story about Hank and Diane, two American kids growing up in the heartland. Hank's going to be a pro wrestling booking star, Diane debutante backseat of Hank's car.

"God damn Frankie, quiet!" She screamed, hovering her bosom into the mouth of the young child to try and keep it quiet while sitting in the back of Hank's Buick that sat on the side of the road as steam roared out of it's engine.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Hank checked his cell phone, it was a message from Eric Eisen.

"What the hell, I just got off the phone two seconds ago from him, and he couldn't wait?"

He checked the message, and yet again it was pandering to Hank's ego, trying to spruce up his chances of winning the SWF World Heavyweight Championship in New York. The stress of the situation was getting to Hank. Not only was Frankie sucking the life out of his father's favourite chicken breast, but it seemed every member of the Supreme Wrestling Federation roster from Marat Khoklov to Eric Eisen, from James Prudence to Robbie Retro was trying to find a way to convince Hank to scribble in what could turn out to be the career defining, lucrative win.

"Imagine there's no World Heavyweight Championships Diane," Hank said as he stared off into the distance. "It's easy if you try. No lower midcard below them. Above us only the Sky High Club. Imagine all the people living for today, aye aye. Imagine there's no daddy's boys, I wonder if you can, no need for greed or politicking, just a locker-room of men. Imagine all the people, living life in peace..."

"You're a dreamer," she retorted as Frank sucked harder.

"But I'm not the only one Diane."

"I don't want dreams Hank, I want the money coming into the bank, and I want it now. I thought this move up from janitor to booker would mean extra dough, huh? Where is it? Huh? Still stuffed down Emma Chase's thong?"

He blushed vividly. Love is a battlefield. He looked at her and thought she was going to hit him with her best shot. How she had heard about the locker-room night out at Vinnies in Atlanta, he had no idea. It was clear that blackmail was being applied before his very eyes. Less than a month ago, all he had to worry about was the extra grease of a hard day's chicken nuts and sloppy waffles. Now he had to worry about deflecting the day-to-day ammunition that flew his way. From those who tried to stand above him, trying to clamber their way to the Championship, and from his wife who expected this to be the champagne life.

The truth was the life of a booker-man was far harder than he had expected. And he knew deep down that there would be a few who would be far from impressed with the direction he was going to take at When Hell Freezes Over. He was learning more about politics than he would be tip toeing the hallowed floors on Capitol Hill.

As his phone screamed again to the level of his suckling son, his mind froze. This was supposed to be a little story about Hank and Diane, two American kids in the heartland. Instead, this was a nightmare on Elm Street, and if that mechanic didn't find Elm Street soon, he knew his wife was going to turn into the second coming of It.

"Yeah," Hank said as he answered.

"I've got some news that will make you very happy," the voice on the other end snapped back.

That was awesome... especially that part. I love that you have Runaway Train as world champion. What most people see as excess baggage when they look at Supreme, you look at as the centerpiece of your diary... I love your vision, T.

We are here live in New York, and you are watching exclusively on Pay-Per-View SWF When Hell Freezes Over. Hello everybody, and thank you joining myself Peter Michaels and my co-commentators Jerry Eisen and Duane Fry in what promises to be a frenetic night. For one of the first ever times in SWF history, the coveted World Heavyweight Championship goes on the line in a fatal four-way. The World Heavyweight Champion Runaway Train does not even have to be in the ring for him to lose the World Heavyweight Championship. Also tonight, Vengeance and Steve Frehley meet in an epic one on one encounter.</p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> This one has been coming for a while, the heat between these two men is bewildering. Vengeance is the most dangerous athlete in the world of professional wrestling Peter, this could get ugly.</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Speaking of ugly, if you think that is brutal, wait until you see Marat Khoklov, the giant Russian Bear against the Living Legend himself, Christian Faith.</p><p> <strong>Jerry Eisen:</strong> These two men will be fighting in the first ever Corporate Sickle versus Faith Sledgehammer match. I can tell you officially that up until 11 o'clock last night, the Supreme Wrestling Federation board of directors was so concerned about their liabilities going into the match that they were considering to allow the match, but not to sanction it.</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Also tonight, in a three way hardcore match, Big Cat Brandon James will defend his North American Championship against Joe Sexy and Lobster Warrior. And to confirm all titles will be defended tonight, Jack Geidroyc and Valiant, this brash young tag team will take on the experienced All North American Dream Team combination of Angry Gilmore and Enforcer Roberts.</p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> I'm really look forward to that one Peter, Angry Gilmore and Enforcer Roberts are without peer in the wrestling ring. If they can maintain their egos, they could easily be the greatest tag team of this generation. Jack Geidroyc and Valiant are full of surprises though, so Gilmore and Roberts will have their work cut out for them.</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Thank you Duane, let's head backstage into the locker-room of Rich Money, who will compete tonight for the Supreme Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Championship!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/RichMoney-1.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <em>Rich Money lays a briefcase down into the bottom of his locker, before turning, and with a sigh facing the cameras. His eyebrows narrow as he concentrates on the epic confrontation in front of him.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rich Money:</strong> They say it's all about the money. But even I know you don't take your money to the grave with you. Sure, I'll be buried in a pure gold casket in a very private and sacred location, my money befits that this will happen. But money is a commodity that buys the best of everything. At the end of the day, money is only good for the accumulation of wealth. And security. And satisfaction. They say the only thing money can't buy is love, but I disagree, and my bevy of beauties who have followed me glamorously around will disagree as well. Sure, they're attracted to the money, but they're thrilled by the man who can accumulate such wealth. The intelligence behind the execution if you will.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Money pulls a wallet out of his pocket, and holds it up.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rich Money:</strong> This is the secret of my success. This is how I will be remembered. But I ask you, does this gold-card mean I have achieved nirvana? Does this collection of pure $100 bills guarantee my legacy of success?</p><p> </p><p> <em>He throws it to the ground, and shakes his head with dismay.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rich Money:</strong> Maslow's motivational theory. The ultimate pyramid of self-actualisation. Of achieving ultimate euphoria, ultimate achievement, and the drive for the endless pursuit of the defining moment in life. The pyramid is very simple. At the bottom is money. The second tier... money. The third tier... money. All leading to the final tier.</p><p> </p><p> The....</p><p> World....</p><p> Heavyweight...</p><p> Championship...</p><p> </p><p> I would give EVERYTHING for that. For that is the ultimate conquest in this gladiatorial warfare we endure. A healthy bank account gives a man so many options, but it does not guarantee one of the finest motivator of them all. I have scaled the pyramid. I have achieved monetary success. I have bounded up the pyramid and achieved more monetary success. I have leapt up to the third rung and achieved startling financial success that you can't even dream of.</p><p> </p><p> And tonight.... tonight. I achieve the ultimate conquest of them. I achieve what money can't buy. But what Rich Money can attain. The World Heavyweight Championship. I don't need an entourage like the others, I don't need a hollywood glamour life like the others, I'm a very simple man with very simple needs. The pursuit of financial glory which is only rivalled and bettered by the pursuit of World Heavyweight Championship glory. And it all happens....</p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> Tonight! Tonight! Tonight! The ultimate investment pays off... Tonight! Because tonight, hell truly does freeze over. Because tonight, Rich Money goes for a pursuit far greater than money!</p><p> </p><p> A legacy. A dream. An honour. </p><p> </p><p> Nirvana.</p><p> </p><p> Tonight.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Rich Money cracks a slight smile, before a maid trots into the room to clean up the pile of money for Rich.</em></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <em>As Lobster Warrior's theme hits, we hear the voices of Peter Michaels and his commentary entourage.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> I don't think I've ever heard Rich Money so focussed.</p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> And that's been the defining theme of his career, Peter. He is in the absolute top echelon of wrestlers Peter, up there with your Angry Gilmore's and your Christian Faith's. I have a crazy feeling, I really do, this guy seems that determined that he'd even give up everything he owns for the Championship.</p><p> <strong>Jerry Eisen:</strong> I am concerned for Eric. I thought he'd be a shoe-in tonight, but after hearing Rich Money talk about what tonight means to him, even I am concerned.</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Look at Lobster Warrior ham it up for the fans here, which brings us to the opening bout of the evening, it is a hardcore match for the North American Championship.</p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> The fact this match is a hardcore match plays right into the hands of Big Cat Brandon...</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Yes but Lobster Warrior is one of the bravest competitors alive today, and Joe Sexy, his brawling of late has been a revelation. Perhaps, just perhaps...</p><p> <strong>Jerry Eisen:</strong> Perhaps just perhaps you're going nuts Michaels, there's no way Brandon doesn't walk out of here surrounded not only by the gorgeous Emma Chase, but the North American Championship itself.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/BigCatBrandon_alt4.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/JoeSexy.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/LobsterWarrior.jpg</span><p> <span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/SWF_NA.jpg</span></p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>SWF North American Championship - Hardcore Match</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong> 'Big Cat' Brandon James © v Joe Sexy v Lobster Warrior</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Welcome to the lair of Brandon James. Welcome to DAVE's little pocket niche in Supreme Wrestling Federation. It's true to say other federations have grabbed the DAVE spotlight a whole lot better than the subdued approach of Supreme Wrestling Federation, but Big Cat Brandon in particular opens up the prospect of that changing in a hurry.</p><p> </p><p> This was not scientific, it certainly wasn't technical, it was just a good stiff brawl. And to think, this all came to a head simply because of an accidental bump in the night from Lobster Warrior on Joe Sexy, coupled with their mutual dissent of the current North American Champion. To see them in this ring tonight throttling the life out of each other was epic to that extent, although the match just lost its sense of flow and rationality at times which cost it in terms of how hard it could have blown the roof off.</p><p> </p><p> It didn't take long for Joe Sexy to be opened up by a vicious drop kick by Brandon James, albeit while Joe Sexy held a chair that had been thrown to him. James went for the cover...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> 2</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Lobster Warrior hauled Brandon off as Joe Sexy rolled to the outside to regather this thoughts. But he would not be alone, as Brandon James threw Lobster Warrior over the top rope into the bloodied face of Joe Sexy on the outside. James stalked them as he pranced over the top rope, off the apron to the floor, and then headed to the cable that surrounded the ring. With Sexy down, and Lobster dizzied, Brandon took the cable and began to choke the living daylights out of Joe Sexy. Sexy tried to get his fingers in between the cable and his throat to try and find an air passage, but the commentators were seriously gagging of the danger of this spot, until Lobster Warrior grabbed a steel chair and planted it over the head of Brandon James, allowing Joe Sexy to inhale a massive influx of oxygen.</p><p> </p><p> Warrior continued the vicious twist by continually slamming the chair over the back of Brandon James, which would surely come back to roost later in the match with its impact on the champion's stability or lack thereof. </p><p> </p><p> It was clear Sexy and Warrior were staging some kind of alliance to try and limit the damage James could cause in a simple 1 v 1 v 1 scenario. It seemed to be quite effective too, as they continued to cannon Brandon into the unforgiving steel guardrails at ringside. But this wasn't enough for Joe Sexy, who then took Brandon by the hair with a view for revenge, up into the crowd. Joe Sexy tried to excite the crowd with some European Uppercuts delivered four or five rows back, as security tried to keep the competitors apart from the crowd.</p><p> </p><p> Accidentally, Joe when lining up a European Uppercut clipped the back of a man's head in the crowd. Lobster Warrior jumped over the guardrail, and chased into the melee. He grabbed Sexy by the ear and began to pull him back to the ringside area. He threw him over the guardrail to the floor.</p><p> </p><p> Sexy got up and pushed Lobster in the chest, but Lobster began to explain himself, and Sexy nodded, accepting the intervention of Lobster Warrior with a handshake.</p><p> </p><p> Brandon James stumbled back over the guardrail, and Lobster and Joe charged at him, but Brandon ducked Lobster's clothesline and grabbed Joe Sexy in an enzuragi type move poleaxing Sexy throat first onto the top of the steel guardrail. Sexy was down for the count, and was grabbing at his throat, it seemed he had suffered a very serious injury.</p><p> </p><p> Lobster grabbed James by the hair and rolled him back into the ring. But in doing so, he gave away ring position, so as Lobster tried to get back into the ring, James was able to suplex him back in. James rolled back to the outside, and slid under the ring, to pull out a trash can! He slid back into the ring and held it up for the crowd. Lobster got up, but was able to grab the trash can off James, and put it on his head. He then dropped him, trash can and all with a DDT! Wow!</p><p> </p><p> Lobster Warrior covered... this is it... it's all over...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p><p> </p><p> THRE..</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Wait a second? Joe Sexy pulled the referee out! He just cost Lobster Warrior the match! The referee went to call for a disqualification, but this is no disqualification! Lobster Warrior got up and headed to the ropes and began arguing with Joe Sexy, who shrugged his shoulders. Lobster Warrior couldn't believe it, but he better, inside cradle from nowhere from Brandon James... The referee slides in...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p><p> </p><p> THR..</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Shoulders up from Lobster Warrior. He's like Pinocchio, but without the will to become REAL. So let me tell you something Lobster, pal, I hate your guts, brother. And as of right now, I'm launching a crusade. A crusade to end fakes... like you! You see, I don't owe Lobster anything, this is all about him becoming a man, not a puppet. If anything, I'm doing him a massive favour. The crowd is getting behind the charismatic duo and their somewhat funky ways. Their wrestling style is largely basic but seems to suit the realities of tag team wrestling. </p><p> </p><p> For a period of three or four minutes, it seemed like the title reign was coming to an end. Gilmore and Roberts were all over them, working them over in their corners, and using quick industrious tags in and out to keep their energy levels high. The crowd started to get in behind Valiant, as Roberts put on a single leg grapevine on Valiant, who was hollering for mercy. The referee kept a check to see if Valiant would submit, but he... valiantly... would not. Angry grilled Roberts and told him to take it to the 'next level'. Roberts let Valiant get back to his feet, and then Roberts dropped to his knees, seemingly to give Valiant a low blow, but he would not follow through. Valiant pulled Roberts up and irish whipped him into the ropes hitting a thunderous clothesline. He was able to make a tag to Jack Geidroyc, who was as fresh as a daisy, and he toyed with Roberts like a cat does with a mouse.</p><p> </p><p> The crowd was popping, as Gilmore tried to run into stop momentum, but Valiant raced in and clotheslined him over the top rope. At times it seemed he was more intent to try to embarrass Gregory Black than to go hard for the win. This was due to his youth, his nativity, and his precious view of life. Gregory Black was the polar opposite of Du Bois. Hard-working, gifted, but a down to earth gent. And in many ways, Gregory was enjoying the tortuous approach of Du Bois, seemingly lapping up the paint brushes, the stepping on fingers, the knees to the nose, the eye and back rakes, all the dirty tricks Du Bois would pull out. </p><p> </p><p> Du Bois didn't seem overly focussed though. At times he had good opportunities to hook the leg and have a reasonable chance to make the pinfall cover, but instead he would nonchalantly stand with his arms raised high with one boot on the torso of Black, and laugh it off when Gregory would kick out.</p><p> </p><p> After yet another paintbrush, followed by a taunt to the crowd, Black snaps. The beast awakens. He raises up and begins to raise hell on Du Bois with a series of hard strikes. Du Bois stumbles and falls flat on the seat of his pants, giving the crowd a quiet chuckle. Black raises him up, and sits him up on the top turnbuckle...</p><p> </p><p> SUPER-RANA!</p><p> </p><p> Executed perfectly. Du Bois' head wobbles as he staggers to his feet. Black springs back to the top rope... MISSILE DROP KICK! Hit with such authority that the smug Du Bois stumbles over the top rope to the floor. Black starts running... Plancha dive! Du Bois crashes into the steel guardrail! Black shakes off the cobwebs from the move, and rolls Du Bois back in.</p><p> </p><p> Black follows him in, and Du Bois tries for a low blow, but Black catches his hand, and puts him in an arm wringer. The pain seers through the arm of Du Bois. Black sends him into the ropes, Du Bois ducks a clothesline, comes back with a high cross body, but Black catches him in mid air! He lofts him up... Runaway Train versus Jack Bruce versus Eric Eisen versus Rich Money for the Supreme Wrestling Federation, World ... Heavyweight... Championship. It's for all the marbles.</p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> It's the biggest prize on the face of the Earth Peter, it's coveted like no other. And it's all on the line tonight for those four men. What an historic evening it promises to be, get this, the World Heavyweight Champion does not even need to be pinned for the Championship to pass hands. Which is in some ways fitting, given, as Jack Bruce said, he had his opportunity to successfully defend the Championship ripped away from him in Memphis.</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> What about the next match though, it is the despicably dangerous Corporate Sickle versus Faith Sledgehammer match. This all started when Marat Khoklov continued to attack Christian Faith heinously with the Corporate Sickle, attempting to end his career for once and for all. And what a great career it's been.</p><p> <strong>Jerry Eisen:</strong> He will always have an enduring legacy Peter, I can't deny that.</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> And yet, right here, right now, he puts everything on the line to try and stop the Marat Khoklov train. The rules are very simple. The winner is to strike his opponent with his weapon, and the victim shall be unable to meet a count of ten.</p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> My stomach is churning at the prospect of this, and quite frankly, I am staggered that last night the SWF Committee officially sanctioned this match, because the liabilities here are enormous.</p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Alright, well, let's get ringside for the official announcement. Faith dropped to his knees, so Marat released the hold and instead forced his knee into the temple of Faith, pushing it against the middle turnbuckle.</p><p> </p><p> The tactic was very obvious from the outset, Marat Khoklov was here to lay a smack down on Christian's skull before trying to knock him unconscious for a standing ten count. Faith stayed crippled on the ground as Marat came charging back with a baseball slide like move, again splitting the skull of Faith.</p><p> </p><p> Basic, but deliberate and effective. Eventually Marat took Faith to the middle of the ring and the two men started a do-se-do brawl. Lefts, rights, lefts rights, finally Marat believe it or not made the first miss, and he swung around allowing Faith to level out a punch flurry, causing Marat to stumble, before Christian Faith dropped him to the mat with a discus lariat.</p><p> </p><p> It was like Faith was working off a second wind, because he immediately dropped to his knees and to the mat, leaving both men on the mat, stunned. The crowd tried to rally Faith, but it was Marat who arose first, and brought Faith up the hair. He slapped him hard to the face, causing Faith to reel. This gave Marat time enough to head to the corner, and undo a turnbuckle pad. Off came the pad, and Marat speared Faith head first into the searing unprotected turnbuckle!</p><p> </p><p> He then dropped him with a high vertical suplex. Realising a lack of oxygen flow would almost stymie a lack of consciousness for later in the bout, Marat put Faith into the Russian Bear Hug, collapsing Faith's lungs, and the more Faith tried to battle his way out, the more effort and oxygen he was expending. His oxygen levels were fast depleting as he slumped in the arms of Marat.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Christian Faith!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Christian Faith!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Christian Faith!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Christian Faith!</em></p><p> </p><p> The crowd tried to rally him, and finally, a third wind went through Faith as he clapped the ears twice of Marat to force him to release. Faith tumbled through the middle rope and to the floor. He laid prone on the concrete floor as the Russian Giant followed Faith to the outside. He picked Faith up and whipped him into the steel steps at ringside, causing them to break apart such was the impact. He then picked Faith up and attempted to whip him into the hard corner post, but Faith reversed it and sent Marat shoulder first into the post. Marat wringed his arm in agony, as Faith went over to the table assembled at ringside. Hello! What do we have here! It's the Faith Sledgehammer!</p><p> </p><p> Marat wobbled over, and Faith attempted to take his head off, but Marat ducked and hit a snapping neckbreaker on return. Marat also then went over to the table, and grabbed the Corporate Sickle, raising it to the crowd with an evil sneer on his face.</p><p> </p><p> Faith crawled on his hands and knees away from Marat, who attempted to collect him, but everytime he struck, Faith rolled out of the way. Finally, as they got to the entrance ramp itself, Marat went for a strike once too often, and the reverberation of the steel on the sickle made Marat drop it and grab for his arm. This gave time for Faith to finally get to his feet and race to the top of the entrance ramp. He held up the Faith Sledgehammer to the roars of the crowd.</p><p> </p><p> Marat grabbed the sickle and followed him up. It was almost like an fencing match as the two stabbed at it each other, but the stabs were really never going to have an impact. Marat grabbed Faith by the arm and went to whip him into the unforgiving side of the teletron set, but Faith reversed him and Marat went crashing in! It looked like sparks flew, as Faith belted the hammer into his hands, and then held it up once more. Marat detached himself just as Faith got to him. Marat then dropped Faith with a kick to the gut. Marat then tried, clumsily, climbing the set rungs, he got up three runs before Faith got up, grabbed him, and tossed him onto the steel set! Marat grabbed at his back! Is it broken? What a move by Faith. A clutch move by the veteran. This is why he is such an extraordinary competitor.</p><p> </p><p> Faith brought Marat up, and went for a strike, but Marat grabbed the sledgehammer off him, but Faith was able to grab Marat by the skull and crush him with a DDT! It wasn't spiked perfectlly, but on the unforgiving set, what a deadly move. Like a cricket batsman, Faith slammed the hammer into the set softly, tapping, waiting for Marat to get up. Up he got. Savage swing into the ribs... Marat tumbles back...</p><p> </p><p> MY GOD!</p><p> </p><p> MY GOD!</p><p> </p><p> The man has fallen off the top set ten-fifteen feet below him and gone straight through a temporary set that had been assembled by the SWF.com commentary team! This is the peak. This is the epic moment. All that has gone before them tonight is futile compared to what is about to happen. Because this is for the World Heavyweight Championship.</p><p> </p><p> Every man, aside from the pure glory of holding the gold itself, has something to prove tonight. Runaway Train wants to prove to the world that he is an honest man, that the character flaws identified by his former leader Eric Eisen are untrue. That he is rightfully deserving of the Championship. That he didn't just earn it by virtue of the wounds suffered by Jack Bruce.</p><p> </p><p> Eric Eisen needs to prove to the Corporate Supremacists that his position as leader is backed up by more than pomp and circumstance, that he is the man who can lead the organisation to the next level. That his actions are as good as his words. </p><p> </p><p> Jack Bruce has every right to be bemused by the way the Championship was struck from him in Memphis. Tonight is his chance at redemption. His chance to prove to the world that he never really lost a hold on the position of the best in the business.</p><p> </p><p> Rich Money is like Angry Gilmore, the world of talent, yet to be finalised and immortalised as the World Heavyweight Champion. Rich has said himself that as far as his greed for money goes, nothing compares to his want to be the World Heavyweight Champion, and rightly so.</p><p> </p><p> To start off events it was the former leader and his excommunicated follower, Eric Eisen and Runaway Train. The two men locked up, and it was clear that Runaway Train had a vendetta and a half against Eric Eisen for the callous comments Eisen had been floating around surrounding Train's character and truthfulness. And now Eisen had to pay, he had to pay the ultimate price for the rings of deception that he tried to place around the noose for one Runaway Train. Train brought his brutality out, his ever physical presence to easily overpower the son of the owner. He worked him into the corner and prepared to savage him with lusty blows to the rib cage, delivered with knife edge precision. Eisen fell forward, and Train followed him from behind off the middle rope with a bulldog. Train went for the cover very early on</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> But Eisen got his shoulder up shortly before the insurgents of Bruce and Money arrived to save the match. And that would be a pressing cost of this type of match. There would be a number of strategic pinfall attempts, but no matter the hatred of one another, a man would continue to show up at all costs to keep the match going. Because emotional tidings for one another for one level, the World Heavyweight Championship and all it meant was a completely different level altogether.</p><p> </p><p> Eisen, as he is wont to do, eventually weasaled his way out of the predicament with a back rake causing enormous pain to Runaway Train temporarily, and giving Eisen time enough to race to a corner and tag in Rich Money. In came Rich Money, another man yet to wear the World Heavyweight Championship. He nodded at Train out of respect and the two men circled the ring before Money ducked as they went for a collar and elbow hook up, circling into a go-behind position and driving Train shoulder first into the corner. Money then dropped quickly outside, caught Train's ankle and wrapped it around the corner post. Perhaps it was slightly heelish, but it was ,masterly, because the concept was extremely simple. Take this giant down by removing his legs, and that's exactly what happened. </p><p> </p><p> Money was able to work over Runaway Train on the mat, and use a series of quick hit and run type moves to the ankle and knee joints to continue to stop the big man from having an impact on Money. It was smart wrestling from perhaps the premier talent in the world yet to hold a World Heavyweight Championship. It was the sort of decisive, strategic methodology that could easily bring the World Championship, and he knew it. There is an old adage that they don't remember how you won, they only remember who won, and so Rich Money had no concerns going to the well on the back of a very basic gameplan.</p><p> </p><p> Money eventually took Runaway Train back to his feet, but it was only to criss cross the ring with irish whipping, deliberately making Train run on the injured ankle before dropping him with a drop toe hold, and immediately going for an ankle lock. Eric Eisen raced in and broke the hold.</p><p> </p><p> Money kept working on Train for several minutes before the beast arose, out of a second wind and nothing more he was able to get to his feet. Money followed and tried to take him down, but Train no-sold it. He then picked Money in a vice like grip around his throat and dropped him with a double choke slam!</p><p> </p><p> Both men fell back to the mat, as Train grimmaced at his ankle ligaments. </p><p> </p><p> The referee had no hesitation but to begin counting...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p><p> </p><p> 3</p><p> </p><p> 4</p><p> </p><p> 5</p><p> </p><p> 6</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Eventually Eric Eisen distracted the referee to ensure the count stopped, before Train made his way over to Jack Bruce for the hot-tag. Bruce came charging in and clotheslined Money. And again. And again. He came at him again, but Money ducked and hit a stifling missile drop kick to the head of Bruce, sending him to become entangled in the ropes. Money raced in and rode him like a bronco from behind, before Bruce finally detached from the ropes. Money picked up Bruce, but Bruce got in a good technical position for an inside cradle..</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Shoulders up from Money, roll through from Money</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p><p> </p><p> THR..</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Save from Eric Eisen by a clothesline. This gave Jack Bruce the advantage, and he dropped Rich Money with a high vertical suplex. Bruce's tactic was also simple. Move Money into the corners where he would be destabilised and continually assault him with knife edge chops, shoulder blocks and the like. It seemed to be a fairly smart tactic also, with Money stumbling. Money finally got out from the corner and managed to tag in Eric Eisen.</p><p> </p><p> Eisen and Bruce. Two men with an extreme hatred of one another. Bruce rightly feels Eric Eisen cost him his World Heavyweight Championship. And here they are, face to face in a fatal fourway fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship. The two men stared each other down before tying up. Eisen was able to push Money into the corner, before hitting a series of short sharp shoulder blocks into the sternum of Jack Bruce. </p><p> </p><p> Bruce though got the crowd pumping by stepping out of the corner and thrusting Eisen in, and then mounting him with a ten count of punches. The crowd loved it as Bruce danced and shook like Muhammad Ali before delivering the final cow-bell to the head of Eric Eisen, who fell face first onto his nose.</p><p> </p><p> Bruce quickly went on the charge, mounting Eisen on the mat and landing a thunderous flurry of punches. The referee interjected, but Bruce pushed him off and went again, before finally the referee could restrain him. Eric Eisen was maimed. He clutched at his nose, and screamed when he saw blood trickle from it. My nose! My nose! He complained. The referee said if he didn't stop his whinging he'd call the fight off due to excessive blood loss, which would of course cost Eisen any chance of the title. Eisen stopped whining almost at once. </p><p> </p><p> Eisen hooked up with Bruce once more, and Bruce was able to put Eisen into a head lock. Bruce strode over to the turnbuckle, climbed two rungs and then fell back like an innovated tornado DDT, spiking Eric Eisen good. Eisen was down for the count, but Bruce picked him up, and went for a vertical suplex. However, Eisen landed on his feet amazingly and he drop kicked Bruce into the corner, who accidentally tagged in Runaway Train. Train came charging for Eisen, who ran to the corner of Money and tagged him in.</p><p> </p><p> This would lay the precipice for the end of the match. It was a return to the attempted 'de-legging' of Train by Money, but Train was in a much better frame of mind and was able to defeat Money's attempts most times. He was then able to mount some of his thunderous train charges, usually in the corner, leaving Money bedazzled. Train threw Money into the corner...</p><p> </p><p> AVALANCHE! Money is staggering!</p><p> </p><p> TRAIN OF PAIN!</p><p> </p><p> Here's your cover...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p><p> </p><p> THR..</p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Broken up by Jack Bruce. Eric Eisen was there too and for some reason the two men start brawling, over the top rope both men go, and they hit the floor hard! Real hard!</p><p> </p><p> Train picks Money up, and he tries to whip him in again, but Money reverses it. Money drops to the mat in agony, before slowly rising. He grabs Train and throws him towards the opposite corner... WHOA! HOLD UP! I didn't notice that, did you? The turnbuckle pad that was altered in the Faith/Khoklov match had inadvertently come down again, and Train's head went head first into it.</p><p> </p><p> Money rolls up the rebounding Train...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>1</p><p> </p><p> 2</p><p> </p><p> THR..</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Somehow he got his shoulder up. <p>Well, I hope it was worth the wait. It took a bit of time to write, and I've actually being trying to avoid the 'long' write up, but there were just so many stories I wanted to tell in the matches. Well, there you go, my first C-Verse Pay-Per-View in the bank.</p><p> </p><p> Just on the main event, I know a lot of you picked Runaway Train. I don't know, I kinda based the set up on the foolishness of Runaway Train. Almost wanted to have it as a comic dismay within the camp at how he could get the belt. Try to really flesh out the political side of things in the OOC posts. That was the aim. But I didn't know if he could be a long term World Heavyweight Champion at this moment. I'm not saying yes or no that Money is, but I am definitely a fan of a guy with good psychology taking hold of the premier belt. I must admit, and I'm sure it will become fairly clear, I'm a massive fan of guys like Money, Faith and Gilmore, guys with epic charisma who can certainly work a great match. There's one or two who I bring in a little later on who fit this mould too.</p><p> </p><p> The pick-win for bigpapa42 was the way the Faith-Khoklov match ended. I would have chosen the same from the options provided. It suited the way I wanted to play it in that I didn't want to destroy Marat's power and presence, but wanted to embellish Faith's fighting spirit and ability to do something extraordinary when it counts. Throughout this card that's one thing I was really wanting to do, to provide points of separation amongst all the wrestlers with their styles, their attitudes, to provide so many different ways that guys can win going forward. I hope that paid off.</p><p> </p><p> Finally, a big ups to lazorbreak. I'm not sure if you'll be happy with it mate, but when I read your post in the Dog Pound thread about ref-bumps, it seemed such a fantastic idea that I had to run with it. It's little pieces in matches like that that I really enjoy, and that was one of the best spot previews I've read in a while so it simply deserved incorporation!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="randomfreeze" data-cite="randomfreeze" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>SWF North American Championship: <strong>'Big Cat' Brandon James</strong> © v Joe Sexy v Lobster Warrior<p> <em>Hardcore tips the scales too far in Big Cats way for the other two to come away with this, I think.</em></p><p> </p><p> SWF World Tag Team Championships: <strong>Jack Geidroyc and Valiant</strong> © v The All North American Dream Team (Angry Gilmore and Enforcer Roberts)</p><p> <em>A fan of Fleetwood Mac is a man I can respect. THere's an episode where she's on the phone talking in Colombian and its so fast paced and without break "adios!", it sounds like she's having an enormous argument but its nothing of the sort. Clever characterisation.</p><p> </p><p> And yep, Fleetwood Mac rock. I saw them in concert last year and I would say its close to, if not the best concert I've been to. I've been to a lot of good ones over the past decade, but they were unbelievably good. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Bigpapa42" data-cite="Bigpapa42" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>SWF North American Championship:<strong> 'Big Cat' Brandon James</strong> © v Joe Sexy v Lobster Warrior<p> SWF World Tag Team Championships: <strong>Jack Geidroyc and Valiant</strong> © v The All North American Dream Team (Angry Gilmore and Enforcer Roberts)</p><p> 'The Can't Miss Prospect' <strong>Marc Du Bois</strong> v Gregory Black</p><p> <strong>'Smooth' Roger Cage and 'The Disco Stud' Robbie Retro</strong> v 'Platinum' James Prudence and 'Aristocrat' Paul Huntingdon</p><p> The Incredibles v <strong>Corporate Supremacy</strong></p><p> <strong>Jungle Lord</strong> v Frederique Antonio Garcia</p><p> 'Dark Destroyer' <strong>Steve Frehley</strong> v Vengeance</p><p> Corporate Sickle v Faith Sledgehammer Match: 'Russian Bear' Marat Khoklov v 'Living Legend' <strong>Christian Faith</strong></p><p> SWF World Heavyweight Championship: <strong>Runaway Train </strong>© v 'The Supremacist' Eric Eisen v Jack Bruce v 'The Lone Wolf' Rich Money</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks as always, mentor, for the picks <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="smurphy1014" data-cite="smurphy1014" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>SWF North American Championship:<strong> 'Big Cat' Brandon James</strong> © v Joe Sexy v Lobster Warrior<p> </p><p> SWF World Tag Team Championships: <strong>Jack Geidroyc and Valiant</strong> © v </p><p> The All North American Dream Team (Angry Gilmore and Enforcer Roberts)</p><p> </p><p> 'The Can't Miss Prospect' <strong>Marc Du Bois</strong> v Gregory Black</p><p> </p><p> <strong>'Smooth' Roger Cage and 'The Disco Stud' Robbie Retro</strong> v 'Platinum' James Prudence and 'Aristocrat' Paul Huntingdon</p><p> </p><p> The Incredibles v <strong>Corporate Supremacy</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jungle Lord</strong> v Frederique Antonio Garcia</p><p> </p><p> 'Dark Destroyer' <strong>Steve Frehley</strong> v Vengeance</p><p> </p><p> Corporate Sickle v Faith Sledgehammer Match: 'Russian Bear' Marat Khoklov v </p><p> 'Living Legend' <strong>Christian Faith</strong></p><p> </p><p> SWF World Heavyweight Championship: <strong>Runaway Train </strong>© v 'The Supremacist' Eric Eisen v Jack Bruce v 'The Lone Wolf' Rich Money</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> smurphy my man, how on earth are you? Great show Tristram. Some brilliant match writeups especially the chaotic main event and a great Money promo that culminated in him winning the gold.

I was expecting a push for Retro given the similarities to a certain someone :p, but the team of Prudence and Huntingdon look like they have a good future so it's good to push them early.

I was surprised Faith beat the big Russian, but the match was great to read, and he was really impressive. I liked the bit at the end when Khoklov refused aid. Just kept the monster aura about him and that he shouldn't be crossed.

Can't wait for more of this. I'm very much enjoying my first real attempt of reading a C-Verse diary.

Thanks for the kind words totti. THanks for the words in particular on Marat, obviously guys like Marat are seriously difficult to enforce a job on given their menace and star quality potential, so I wanted to trigger an event that helped reduce the loss of that effect and I thought it worked well. As I said, it was really one thing I was concentrating on was delivering the character development, the character uniqueness and plausible outcomes that suited pushes and character situations and I hope that delivered ;)

Thanks also for the words in particular about James Prudence. Without giving too much away, in the long term of this diary James at one point suddenly proves to me beyond any reasonable doubt that he is a very consistent over achiever. There's a feud that is set up down the line that admittedly I didn't have exceptional hopes for, but the end result has me grasping James' importance to the roster. He has a couple of attributes in particular that I picked him up for that become essential to high quality matches up the card. If anything, for my first shot in CV, he goes from being 'who?' to a character I really admire.

Strategic Report - January 2010

Roster Development

The past month had been one to try and drive for some stability within the organisation. A quick glance around the wrestling world would show figures such as Andre Jones, Bruce the Giant, Sam Keith, Elmo Bensen and Enygma working elsewhere. We knew historically that the lack of emotional stability and lack of faith in youngsters had been misguided also. Over the past ten to fifteen years, genuine, certifiable bankable stars like Sean McFly and Tommy Cornell called opposition wrestling organisations home, and had taken considerable umbrage to disunite the Supreme Wrestling Federation fanbase.

In the past twenty four months, the promotion had let go of Sam Keith and Enygma, both massively important stars in the world of professional wrestling. Total Championship Wrestling was making a big song and dance, and rightfully so, about how well they were utilising the master of the Proton Lock. While rosters evolve, it had been debatable whether Supreme Wrestling Federation had consistently got it right over the past three to four years.

When the executive committee headed by Hank Cornwallis drafted this business strategy, coupled with the business model and recruitment strategy, he outlined the need to unite roster recruitment with strategic interests. This would form a barrier to needlessly hiring fantastic talent at the wrong time. Talent would be brought in in the future to suit storyline needs. When agents contact SWF HQ to talk about their clients coming off contract, their locker-room reputation and their ability to serve an immediate and long term interest would be analysed before a decision was made.

To this effect, the organisation hired just two main roster talents, while flooding it's association with RIPW with top-line top-draw talents who in the next twelve to thirty six months had the ability to form crucial parts of storyline arches due to the unique talents they brought to the table. The two new members of the main roster were Roger Cage and James Prudence. Both were brought in due to their largely solid performance ratings and their ability to entertain. There is some thought that Roger Cage will take up a talk-show segment down the line, and there is a thought amongst the road-agents that James Prudence could be a consistent upper midcarder with logical booking. Both have accepted their positions within the roster, and are understanding of the storylines that await them. They are aware they will not be catapulted to glory, it will be a logical character development sequence. Recent market research has shown that SWF wrestling fans want superstars they know populating the main events, not talents who may have talent but are simply unknown to them.

As far as wrestler releases, the truth is that the organisation has had some issues with midcard talent Big Smack Scott. The talent believes he is ready for a greater push, however his lack of composure in the locker-room, and his senseless inability to portray a match without pandering his own ego much to the detriment of everything that goes on around him including the fans interests has placed him in a very vulnerable position. The promotion is trying to mediate with Big Smack Scott currently but is under no illusions that while some issues are manageable, the types of issues that Big Smack Scott is renowned for and has portrayed in the past month are cancers to locker-room harmony. He has been given time to work through these issues. Currently he has shown no interest to do so, and as a matter of fact, a complete show of dissatisfaction with the mentoring approach shown to guide him towards stability in the promotion. However, this may be his typical knee-jerk reaction to the punishment dished out, and we will show some patience to try and rehabilitate him. Other than Big Smack Scott, there has been no threats of terminations, and the roster is remaining somewhat steady.

There was a rumour that floated around that Christian Faith was unhappy with the way Runaway Train took the World Heavyweight Championship before the current change in booking structure. Due to Bowen's relationship with Eisen's previously unknown daughter, it was speculated by some, including Faith, that it was politicking and nothing more. Faith has had a steady relationship with Bowen over a long period of time that has certainly not shown any signs of splintering, up until now. Christian is an enormous part of the harmony of the locker-room, and is important for him to see the strategic steps being taken to push the promotion past the challenges of TCW and the Canadian and Japanese up and coming promotions. To this point, Christian has not formally asked for a release and with better management practices we are hopeful he will not.

In terms of people that we are actively scouting, there are a number from Total Championship Wrestling who would add plenty to the promotion. We have grinded this down to a top five list. We do not want to be a promotion that picks up the dreggs, but rather selectively hit high profile wrestlers who have a 'wow' factor. This 'wow' factor will be appraised on:

  • Shock and awe of the talent showing up on SWF programming due to their TCW profile
  • Current or recent Championship legacy
  • Outstanding skill sets
  • Ability to fuse well into current and future storyline plans
  • Ability to integrate well into the locker-room environment.

We do not plan to target the entire promotion. The reasons are as follows; we believe healthy competition helps spur creativity and innovation and so the presence of promotions like Total Championship Wrestling, while at times strategically alarming, should serve our creative side to be motivated to deliver premium storylines to remain competitive. We also believe a fair number of their roster are in actual fact ordinary competitors, and the slight shifting of the sand from underneath their foundation which elevates these largely unworthy competitors serves to better Supreme Wrestling Federation in the long run.

Championships

In early January, Hank Cornwallis as head of the executive committee formalised a Championship committee involving Peter Michaels, Christian Faith and Chief Two Eagles, who would report to Cornwallis with their recommendations. The elevation of Faith to the committee was a show of respect for his leadership in the promotion and his visionary skills.

It was through Christian Faith in particular that political support began to form for Rich Money. This certainly was not without severe warranting. Rich Money has been with Supreme Wrestling Federation for a number of years, and like Christian Faith, has often been the go-to guy for top quality matches. The reaction of the locker-room when Rich Money walked back through the curtain was one of elation. As suggested previously, there was somewhat of a roster division happening with Runaway Train taking the Championship. At an executive level, we had discussed the possibility of using this political stalemate to create an internal division storyline to produce a second 'A' show, where Faith followers would move to the new brand. At the last minute this was shot down when we were unable to secure a satisfactory television deal to suit our needs. Bowen for his part was very accepting of the situation and was said to be honoured to have a third reign, even though some media critics are calling him merely a transitional champion, the fact that his presence with the belt could have engineered a very deliberate division to cause a second brand was helpful. Bowen for his part was unaware of the political disturbances and went out of his way to patch up any disillusionment. He has in all truth been a model professional throughout this saga and it is a credit to him.

Jack Bruce on the other hand was extremely disappointed he did not win the title back at When Hell Freezes Over. He was under the impression, although this was never formally disclosed to him, that a rub-off of the swerve in Memphis was that he would regain the World Heavyweight Championship through to the Supreme Challenge. Jack has been briefed by the Championship Committee that he has a future with the belt, but that in the short term there are some elements to his wrestling that need work, including his ability to add drama to a match through his wrestling performance and his ability to make his opponents look a million dollars by selling slightly better. For his part, as stated, Jack was disappointed but we are not convinced he will look to leave the promotion.

The Rich Money move suited the strategic vision outlined for the Championship Committee which consisted of ensuring the titles were strategically placed on those competitors who had worked hard to be worthy of acclaim, could increase the prestige of the belts, and could either/or talk the roof off the building to get people to buy Pay-Per-Views, or contribute extremely high quality matches on a consistent basis to try and delimit Total Championship Wrestling's superior in ring product. This Committee approach formed part of our S.W.O.T analysis against Total Championship Wrestling, to try and limit their competitive advantage of in-ring excellence with in-ring excitement. We felt prestigious and high class title matches were the best method to do this.

It was too soon to move the belts onto Angry Gilmore and Enforcer Roberts, and thus the titles stayed with Jack Geidroyc and Valiant in the tag division. There are storyline plans for further advancements of the tag team titles through Geidroyc and Valiant and a far more multi-layered tag division.

The committee strongly felt Big Cat Brandon is doing a very good job with hte North American Championship and thus had no hesitation in him holding the championship. Not only does he bring the hardcore element into SWF well, but his chemistry with Emma Chase quite frankly puts backsides on seats. This is an important competitive strength.

There are no moves in the interim to bring in further titles, although this will be discussed should any strategic changes happen in the roster make-up or ongoing S.W.O.T analysis suggests that we need to innovate to match our competitors moves. The Championship Committee has been encouraged to think with an innovative mindset to new approaches to potential title integrations.

Future Strategic Moves

There was of course as stated previously a strategic move to split the SWF brand, but this did not transpire. We discussed the option of trying to extend SWF TV, but this has not yet happened. We are looking at development pathways for a secondary television program to focus on our next generation intermingled with stars who need a win to give them momentum again, or for the star to rub off some of their talents in an ongoing executive education for the up and coming star. We hope these negotiations conclude in the very near future.

Current Performances

On the whole, the relative television ratings over January were as follows.

Total Championship Wrestling: 5.70

Supreme Wrestling Federation: 6.73

In terms of independently sourced reviews of the television environment, we are encouraged to hear feedback that they believe our shows are comparatively better. The Total Championship Wrestling main storyline currently features Joey Minnesota feuding with Rocky Golden, with Tommy Cornell and Wolf Hawkins adding spice to the main event storyline. The lower-midcard of their promotion has been somewhat of a let down, and there has been a strange lack of focus on Sammy Bach who the reviewers believe is a marketable break out star for them.

In more positive news, Supreme Wrestling Federation crushed Total Championship Wrestling over two to one in Pay-Per-View buy rates. TCW managed to secure a buy-rate of 1.61, and SWF managed a buy rate of 3.86. Malice in Wonderland featured a main event of Rocky Golden against Tommy Cornell for the TCW World Heavyweight Championship, with Rocky Golden winning. This was despite their main focus being Golden versus Minnesota.

Consistently the crowd attendances have been superior for Supreme Wrestling Federation.

The one alarming key performance indicator is that there is a more positive trend line developing in TCW's show viewership in comparison to the shows put out by SWF. This situation will continue to be monitored. C.A.N.N is still very happy with our performances, however, and thus strategically the main objectives are financial growth, popularity growth, and Pay-Per-View buy increases.

-----------------------

Agree with Totti - really entertaining and well-written pay per view. Money is a favorite of mine, so great to see him win that belt.

The Strategic Report makes for an interesting read as well.

Thanks for the support. Truth be told, I'm not sure about continuing with this. I'm having an absolute ball with it in TEW and am thrilled with the storylines that have come about, as well as the evolution of the wrestling world, but TBH I feel its seriously lacking in comparison to some of the other SWF diaries going around and just the CV environment on these boards in general. Maybe trying to adjust this old real-world relic into the CV was like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. I'm getting the impression that my style of booking/writing perhaps doesn't suit the CV readers, which is kewl, and I have a fairly unique idea going forward.

Anyhow, for the meantime while I contemplate these things, the above is the up-coming show.

Jack Bruce v Squeeky McClean

Bruce has just been involved in the Title match and I think Bruce might have unfinished business with Money despite the respect shown.

Death Row v The Amazing Bumfholes

They seem the more established and over team from what I've heard. I instantly like the team of Death Row though, I'm guessing at some kind of tough convict gimmick?

Robbie Retro v Marc Du Bois

Du Bois could use the rub after losing at the PPV.

Jungle Strike v Frederique Antonio Garcia and James Prudence

Jungle Lord won on PPV so Garcia can get some momentum back here and Prudence can continue to develop some overness.

Lobster Warrior v Angry Gilmore

Sexy to show up? That's what I'm running with.

Eric Eisen v Christian Faith

I'm going for a tainted win here, definitely wouldn't be clean and it would keep all Faith's momentum in check.

Well whatever you choose to do mate I'll be reading. You are the undisputed king of WCW so it'll probably take some time to really adjust to writing C-Verse, but you've done a fantastic job of bringing me into the C-Verse so far. I wouldn't go anywhere near it before!

Jack Bruce v Squeeky McClean

Bruce is in title picture, Squeeky isn´t

Death Row v The Amazing Bumfholes

I go with team I know better here

Robbie Retro v Marc Du Bois

It´s little hard for me to take Retro seriously so I go with Du Bois

Jungle Strike v Frederique Antonio Garcia and James Prudence

I go with named team here

Lobster Warrior v Angry Gilmore

As totti said Sexy might come up and cost Lobster this match

Eric Eisen v Christian Faith

I´m guessing that Eisen gets back some lost momentum here though it won´t be a clean win.

You see, Rich, as much as this whole experience has enlightened us all, the fact of the money is you are still a greedy financial investor. And the truth is, if you tried to dishonour that contract, we would have every right to take every possession you own. So, the way I see it, you're in a bit of a predicament. You can give up everything you've ever earned for and try to find a way to give some other schmoe a shot at your World Heavyweight Championship at Nothing to Lose, or... you can honour your contract, and take it like a man, and try somehow to defend it against ... my son.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Begrudgingly, Money shakes his head and puts the contract back into the briefcase.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Richard Eisen:</strong> Well, isn't this convenient? Very nice. You're playing the role so well. You act angered, you act bitter, but you won't follow through with it, will you? Not only would I fire you on the spot, but ... well, there is a certain someone in my family who I could ... well, take from you. You know what I'm talking about. All I ask, is that you bring home the bacon! ALL I WANT...All I want, is for you to do as you are told, Eric. Is that too much to ask? Huh? Is it..?</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/ChristianFaith.jpg</span><p> <embed src="<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0kGQa-LBi4&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0" rel="external nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0kGQa-LBi4&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0"</a> type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="25" width="27"></object></p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <em>Christian Faith steps forth through the curtain, with an enormous limp, as he holds aloft the Faith Sledgehammer at the top of the ramp, before raising a microphone.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Christian Faith:</strong> I see. Well, that settles it, doesn't it? Alls well when ends well.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Cynically, Christian begins to clap his hands.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Christian Faith:</strong> What a performance! What a great.. performance. Eric, I love what you did there. You are the mastermind of all masterminds, pal. You are the ultimate manipulator. Give that man a round of applause.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Again Christian claps, but this time as the fans join in, he slows it right down, to a very slow pace, before lifting the microphone.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Christian Faith: </strong>And speaking of great performances, speaking of strategic masterminds, lets just say I had a feeling you would pull something like this. So... well, earlier tonight, I went to Peter Michaels, who, as we all know, has a lot of influence over the Executive Committee itself, and I spoke to him about how great a match I had with Marat Khoklov. And he agreed. I told him that I felt the World Heavyweight Championship number one contenders spot was going to be handed to someone tonight. Someone who may not have earned it. He agreed that's not the way things are done around here. </p><p> </p><p> My feelings grew stronger an hour before the show, when I saw the limited edition Richard Eisen limousine pull up. Not only did I see your gray face hop out with the ho....</p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> That's you, Emma, I overheard a conversation from the background. And it indeed confirmed my suspicions. So, I went back to my pal, Peter. I knew that he hadn't done anything about it yet, because, well, Peter had bigger fish to fry, setting up for tonight's show. But, we got chatting about his feelings about the commentary style of one Jerry Eisen, and how much conflict Jerry was causing at the commentary box, and I subtly mentioned that the man who was getting the World Heavyweight Championship shot was Eric, and how Jerry would react should he somehow win it, and my old pal Peter, who, as you saw earlier was arriving a little late, was actually discussing with a majority of the Executive Committee, excluding your good self Richard who as we know by way of the Executive Committee needs only a 60% majority to pass a mandate, and... lo and behold, with that 60% present, to a man they agreed.. that tonight, Eric Eisen, you will face.....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> CHRISTIAN FAITH...</p><p> </p><p> And...</p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> This is the part I really like... REALLY... like...</p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> The match will be for the number one contendership for the WORLD.... HEAVYWEIGHT... CHAMPIONSHIP!</p><p> </p><p> <em>Emma Chase, Eric Eisen and Richard Eisen look completely dumbfounded, as Christian Faith holds aloft the Faith Sledgehammer for the glory of the crowd who are popping heavily.</em></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> Bravo! Bravo! Bravo to our rightful leader of the commentary team, Peter Michaels!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Thank you, all in a day's work.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jerry Eisen:</strong> I honestly thought you went to take a dump, not take one from an almighty height on the validity of that contract! What the hell is wrong with you? Our father, up there in the ring, hallowed be thy name Richard Eisen, look at the amount of sacrifices and miracles he's pulled for us. And yet you dishonour him like this?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Our father? Please. I'm glad I have nothing to do with his seed.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/JackBruce_alt8.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/SqueekyMcClean.jpg</span><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Jack Bruce v John 'Squeeky' McClean</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> This was a slightly sloppy affair, some of the moves hit were sold poorly, and at times the match lacked any real drama. It was in many ways a fairly ordinary opener for Supreme TV, but in another way it was hit by the mere fact that it could not keep the crowd hot after the initial opening of the card. </p><p> </p><p> Squeeky tried to keep it tight, indeed his wrestling style is fairly compact and works well, but it was more or less Jack Bruce who was off his game tonight. It seemed that they decided to let Squeeky run the match after the first couple of minutes showed that it was not working well, and the heel took control through mat domination of Jack Bruce. The commentators wondered, when Jack avoided numerous near-falls whether his mind was still caught up in how he failed to recover the World Heavyweight Championship at When Hell Freezes Over.</p><p> </p><p> After a rather subdued middle of the match, the crowd got behind Jack Bruce, and indeed he was able to leap frog during a criss-cross spot and rebound with a powerful clothesline from the ropes. This set in motion the closing series of spots to close out the match. Jack charismatically enthused the crowd to keep pumping, and despite a brief do-se-do in the middle of the ring where Squeeky tried vigilantly to restrain Jack, it was of no use, as Jack took him down with a nice forward russian legsweep. Squeeky was pulled up, grabbing at his nose, but it would cop more punishment as Jack unleashed the Jack Bruce Flurry! What charisma with that dance spot! This is SWF baby! Squeeky tries to get up... but no time... NEW YORK MINUTE! And he crushed Squeeky. Thank god, this is the end, because truthfully this match was uninspiring.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Result:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> Your winner at 9:45, Jack Bruce</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Grade:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> C</span></p></div><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> And there it is!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> And that's why he's always hunting the World Heavyweight Championship Peter, because no matter what, whether he's slightly off his game, whether he has other things on his mind, whether he's injured, day in, day out, Jack Bruce knows how to win.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> You're right about that, Duane. And I can only put that down to what you pulled off earlier tonight.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Christian Faith:</strong> Pulled? Pulled? Did you see what Eric and Richard Eisen were trying to pull? All I did was give the night a sense of justice.... up to this point. You see, I look out for all opportunities... and all threats... and I know, I KNOW... when Eric and Richard went back to HQ that they will be trying to pull something off.</p><p> </p><p> But you know what, Ana, at When Hell Freezes Over they said it was going to be the end of Christian Faith. They said my career would be over. They said I was facing insurmountable odds. That I had no chance. That I was a dead man walking. But I'm long enough in the tooth Ana to not only be known as the Living Legend, but also I'd like to call myself the Situational Strategist. You see, I know how to take difficult situations and make a legacy out of them. It's just what I do. So when I turned up here tonight, and I over-heard the plot that was going down, I took advantage of a chance meeting with Peter Michaels, and I made sure justice would be done. Justice!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ana Garcia:</strong> You will now of course face Eric Eisen...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Christian Faith:</strong> Eric Eisen is a manipulative moron to many Ana, but I see more to Eric than that. I see the potential of a future World Heavyweight Champion. And like Rich Money, I feel this will happen as soon as he learns who the real Eric Eisen is. Not the paid for lifestyle. Not the dubious ethics that shroud him. But when Eric Eisen has the ability to look inside his soul and find the true Eric Eisen, then he can lead this promotion to glory.</p><p> </p><p> But that's not now, Ana. It's not now. It's fate that determines these things, Ana, and as Runaway Train showed, as Rich Money showed, all you need is belief and respect to go with unworldly ability. And that's what Christian Faith has. You see, I've been to the well before, I've held that title high, I've reigned... Supreme. I have respect for Rich Money, I have respect for the World Heavyweight Championship, I have respect for justice, and it's just... that tonight... I will stop Eric Eisen, and I will face Rich Money in the ultimate battleground of honour for the World... Heavyweight... Championship.</p><p> </p><p> Oh that's justice... THAT'S justice.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Christian Faith chews his gum and smiles at Ana nodding his head, before walking off.</em></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/Knuckles.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/ShadyK_alt.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/ZimmyBumfhole.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/RandyBumfhole.jpg</span><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Death Row (Knuckles and Shady K) v The Amazing Bumfholes (Zimmy and Randy Bumfhole)</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> More than anything, this was a sharp and thankfully, mercifully, short exhibition of street-thuggery as Death Row brought out their unique street-warfares tactics to take this match out of the ring, and turn it into nothing more than a brawl.</p><p> </p><p> This did not suit the Bumfholes of course, but Death Row have a shady, excuse the pun, ability to draw both partners into an ultimate street fight. The referee followed the two teams out of the ring, telling Knuckles and Zimmy to get back into the ring before they were both disqualified. Almost begrudgingly, Knuckles grabbed Zimmy by the hair, and finally we were good to go.</p><p> </p><p> The in ring spots consisted largely of corner-thuggery from Death Row, and an attempt to make it a speed game across the ring from the Bumfholes. It wasn't classic, that much is certain. And the crowd really were not interested. After Randy was able to clothesline Knuckles out of the ring, and become embroiled in another up the aisle street fight, it left Zimmy open to hit a swinging neckbreaker on Shady K. With Shady down, Zimmy climbed the ropes and hit the Bumfhole in One for the pinfall victory.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Result:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> Your winners at 5:05, The Amazing Bumfholes</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Grade:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> D</span></p></div><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Those guys are scary individuals.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> You are not wrong, Peter, and it was a gutsy victory by the Bumfholes.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Fans, don't go away, as as you can see on your screen walking backstage towards the ring area, after the break, Robbie Retro himself will face off with Marc Du Bois. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/RobbieRetro.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/MarcDuBois_alt2.jpg</span><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>'The Disco Stud' Robbie Retro v 'The Can't Miss Prospect' Marc Du Bois</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> This was a very quick paced match, and surprisingly, it delivered well as these two showed an extremely uncanny ability to interrelate in the ring. You would be like the sweetest lobster known to man. Like sweet velvet in a fashion parade. Call me tonight Ana, I'll make all your ungodly wishes come true.</p><p> </p><p> And speaking of ungodly, as you can see assembled around me I have James Prudence and Frederique Antonio Garcia. And this is the beginning of what I would like to call, The Crusade. The Crusade to End Inhumanity. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ana Garcia:</strong> What do you mean?</p><p> </p><p> <em>Joe Sexy leans over and whispers in her ear, before winking at her again. Ana's eyes widen and she blushes.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ana Garcia:</strong> No, not about if I call you Joe, I mean about this... this Crusade to End Inhumanity.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Joe Sexy:</strong> I see your blushes, and I can assure you all that I told you is the truth. But as far as the Crusade to End Inhumanity is concerned, Ana, it has become clear to this allegiance, this crusade if you will, that there are several individuals in this world who are ... cover-ups, frauds, fakes. Who live their life amongst human democracy exploiting the emotions of children, of adults, every living creature known to man. They tell you one thing, but underneath they are not who they say they are. And to cover-up their frauds, they wear masks, they act strangely, they lose the plot as to what they are all about. Most human people can't see it, but we see through it. And so, James, Frederique and myself are launching this crusade. The crusade to end all inhumanity. </p><p> </p><p> Who do I speak of, you wonder? And you do wonder, because to us, it is clear. Crystal clear. Because we see things as they are, but we also see things that are not and ask why not. We see people who should be part of society's aim for democracy, for justice, for liberty, yet we see people who are frauds denying the opportunity to know the nirvana that is ultimate truth. And those people are Lobster Warrior, Jungle Lord and Gregory Black.</p><p> </p><p> Lobster Warrior... a man who wears a lobster costume. A man who hides his guilt by the way of the lobster costume. Jungle Lord... a man who wears a jungle outfit, and claims to have lived in the wildest jungles living off the land. And Gregory Black.. a man so filled with lies the man does not even know his name from one day to the next. These men consume society with lies, with fraud, and it is this crusade to stop this inhumanity. It is this crusade to save us from the evil plot they surely must be putting together. Because put it this way - why would any reasonable man cover up the truth? Cover up who they are? The reason is simple. They are covering up something that does not fit in with society's will. </p><p> </p><p> Make no bones about it Ana, they are dangerous. They are the epitome of evil. But have no fear, because we are here. We are true to our souls, Ana. We have the platinum blond himself James Prudence, everyone knows who James Prudence is. He's lived the lifestyle, baby. Beach, babes, surf. We have Frederique Antonio Garcia. He's... out there! If you know what I mean. And then there's me. The masterdon of sexiness. The Don of Romance. The true casanova. We are who we say we are. We are extroverted, but we are real. We are wild. But we are real. We are different. But we are real. And we are the Crusade to End Inhumanity. And THAT is real.</p><p> </p><p> <em>As James and Frederique high five again, Joe Sexy whispers something else into Ana Garcia's ear, and a cheeky smile curves across her face.</em></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/AngryGilmore.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/EnforcerRoberts.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <em>Backstage, our cameras roll into a conversation between Angry Gilmore and Enforcer Roberts, the All North American Dream Team.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Enforcer Roberts:</strong> We must re-group. And, the crowd still seemed to struggle with James Prudence, really not knowing a great deal about him. And as such, despite his charismatic taunts, they struggled to get into his heel tactics.</p><p> </p><p> The highlight of the match was some crisp work between Gregory Black and Frederique Antonio Garcia. Their work seemed slightly better structured and their moves looked valid. This did the crowd enthused as they had a three minute bridge in the middle of the match to try and hold it together and build the intensity of the finish.</p><p> </p><p> The finish involved a sequence utilising all four finishers. First, Jungle Lord executed the crippling Jungle Jack-Hammer on James Prudence, but before he could finish the three count, FAG made the save. FAG was then able to put Jungle Lord out of commission with Romeo is Bleeding. FAG went for the cover, but the referee ruled he was not the legal man. FAG then pulled Prudence to the corner, stepped outside, and tagged his hand. But Jungle Lord from nowhere hit a drop toe hold as time passed. Lord scrambled to the corner, tagging in Gregory Black. FAG and Black started to go toe to toe in the middle of the ring, as James Prudence walked groggily to the outside, and started arguing with Jungle Lord. The two men started punching at ringside, before James dropped Jungle Lord with a nice clothesline. He then walked back, and raced in for the Surf's Up! With both men in ring distracted, it allowed FAG to give Gregory Black an inside cradle pinfall... but Black rolled out quickly. FAG went for a clothesline, but Black ducked and with FAG off-balance, quickly was able to hook FAG up for the Bling Thing. Prudence tried to scramble but it was too late, as Black made the cover.</p><p> </p><p> The entire spot, while sounding impressive was kinda convoluted and this cost the match the impact that those moves should have had.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Result:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> Your winners at 7:24, Jungle Strike</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Grade:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> C</span></p></div><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> Yeah! As we all know, Marat Khoklov took down a ringpad at When Hell Freezes Over in his match with Christian Faith, which ultimately came off again in the main event, costing Runaway Train a great chance to defend his World Heavyweight Championship. What ,most of us don't know is the concussion this caused Runaway Train, but I'm guessing Marat Khoklov had a fairly good idea as to the damage he had caused.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jerry Eisen:</strong> We've seen many a wrestler focus on limbs and ankles and what not, but Marat Khoklov, you can call him the head banger. Just ask Christian Faith and Runaway Train, and perhaps this makes him the most dangerous wrestler on the face of the planet today.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28275" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/LobsterWarrior.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpg</span><span>http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/AngryGilmore.jpg</span><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Lobster Warrior v Angry Gilmore</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> This was one of the better matches of the night. Angry Gilmore was a man on a mission, he was clearly distraught with the fact that he missed out on gold at When Hell Freezes Over, and this made Lobster Warrior somewhat of a target tonight. It wouldn't have mattered who opposed him, Gilmore had a lot of pent up anger to take out on someone. </p><p> </p><p> There were some brief segments where Lobster, thanks to the enormous rallying support of the crowd behind their favourite sea-urchen, was able to mount a nice comeback. He rallied through short sharp attacks and rope attacks. He was trying to keep from getting in any sort of entanglement with Angry, realising Angry is a premier technical wrestler who has an enormous capacity to over-turn moves.</p><p> </p><p> Yet, unfortunately for Lobster, this basic principle was forgotten at one point, and this led to his ultimate demise. After avoiding confrontation, Lobster decided after his short sharp attacks showed some signs of scuppering Angry's demonstrative assaults, he decided to go in with some brawling in the centre of the ring. Lobster is a very talented brawler, but the move was not well thought out, as it simply allowed Angry to use his enormous anger issues and take charge. From this, this allowed Angry to keep his enemy close and utilise a series of belly-to-belly slams, german suplexes, inverted DDTs and the likes to put some serious impact on Lobster. Despite a brief flurry of off the rope clotheslines, Lobster never really regained momentum and inevitably Angry showed off his talent to the world when he defeated Lobster with the Anger Management, crushing Lobster's shelly face into the mat for the cover.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Result:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> Your winner at 8:42, Angry Gilmore</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Grade:</strong></span><span style="font-size:12px;"> B</span></p></div><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Peter Michaels:</strong> He is impressive, there is no doubt.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Duane Fry:</strong> I look at Angry Gilmore and I see another Rich Money. Eric Eisen is still really coming to terms with being a top-line wrestler, and at times he lets the main event matches slip from his grasp as aside from his manipulative character, his ties to his father, and his growing brawling prowess, he lacks the ability to grab the crowd and get them to understand any real storyline in the ring.</p><p> </p><p> This is why the match with Christian Faith was one of his better ones. Christian Faith, while being no particular master in terms of move set, makes every move count. He leaves every fan that leaves a building fully aware as to his status, what the match was about, and where the competitors have left it off. The match allowed Eric Eisen to use a few sneaky tactics to undermine Faith, and then use his brawling style, with several closed fist attacks, to drive Christian Faith into the mat.</p><p> </p><p> Eric would then taunt the crowd, incensing them, making them plead for Faith to find energy to come back. For the first three or four times, Christian could not, but he nearly popped the roof off the arena when he tapped the mat off the back of one chant, got back to his feet, dared Eric to attack him, ducked a clothesline and then skittled Eric by dropping to his knees and hitting a flurry of punches to the lower stomach area, before doing the splits and dropping one straight between the legs of Eisen.</p><p> </p><p> Faith then pointed to Eisen on the mat, causing the crowd to focus in on the cowardly, manipulative Eisen grabbing his crown jewels. The referee checked on Eisen, and as he did, Eisen grabbed him and dropped him on the point of his head, knocking the referee out. </p><p> </p><p> Faith picked Eisen up, and slapped him in the face, causing the crowd to pop again. <p>Well, we are just over one month into the diary, which is my first ever CV attempt. I've done a lot of WCW, so this is all very different for me.</p><p> </p><p>

I thought I'd stop for a second and ask for your thoughts on how things are going. And I thought I'd do this through a short questionnaire. This way I can start to model the shows to suit your thoughts.</p><p> </p><p>

So...</p><p> </p><p>

Who is your favourite wrestler in the diary:</p><p> </p><p>

RE: The slightly pesky, immature approach commentary from Jerry Eisen, do you enjoy it or is it something you'd like to see less of:</p><p> </p><p>

Rich Money as the Champion. Obviously most tipped Runaway Train to hold onto it, two questions, firstly, do you think Rich Money is a good option as champion:</p><p> </p><p>

Secondly, do you buy him winning the championship the way he did:</p><p> </p><p>

What is your favourite storyline at the moment:</p><p> </p><p>

Who do you want to see more of:</p><p> </p><p>

Is there anyone you want to see less of:</p><p> </p><p>

Do you like the way the card is written up, or is it too long:</p><p> </p><p>

Do you like the out-of-card segments such as the strategic report, the arena report, the Hank Cornwallis moments:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Thanks for your support guys, if you could let me know on these you have no idea how important that would be for me.<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

I agree with BP, that opening promo was brilliant. I love segments such as that where you get so many different characters in on the same thing. You wrote them all perfectly and it sets up an already exciting Title feud to just get even better.

Who is your favourite wrestler in the diary: Rich Money, though I am probably biased

RE: The slightly pesky, immature approach commentary from Jerry Eisen, do you enjoy it or is it something you'd like to see less of: I am enjoying it. It would probably seem out of place in a more serious promotion, but comedy is supposed to be a pretty big part of the SWF.

Rich Money as the Champion. Obviously most tipped Runaway Train to hold onto it, two questions, firstly, do you think Rich Money is a good option as champion:

Secondly, do you buy him winning the championship the way he did: Didn't bother me.

What is your favourite storyline at the moment: Hmm... probably the story around the world title...

Who do you want to see more of: Angry Gilmore

Is there anyone you want to see less of: Not really in terms of disliking your characterization of them.

Do you like the way the card is written up, or is it too long: No, I think the length is about right. Its not into overkill and it doesn't feel too brief. If you felt the need to streamline (which I definitely understand), I would probably prefer to see the angles remain the same.

Do you like the out-of-card segments such as the strategic report, the arena report, the Hank Cornwallis moments: Yup, quite enjoy them. I like how different the strategic reports feel as oppposed to the Hank stuff.

Who is your favourite wrestler in the diary: Joe Sexy and The Crusade to End Inhumanity

RE: The slightly pesky, immature approach commentary from Jerry Eisen, do you enjoy it or is it something you'd like to see less of: I enjoy it.

Rich Money as the Champion. Obviously most tipped Runaway Train to hold onto it, two questions, firstly, do you think Rich Money is a good option as champion: Yeah I do. It can further the feud.

Secondly, do you buy him winning the championship the way he did: Yes.

What is your favourite storyline at the moment: Joe Sexy and The Crusade to End Inhumanity!

Who do you want to see more of: Robbie Retro. We need more discoliciousness baby!

Is there anyone you want to see less of: Runaway Train. or The Big Cat. They both annoy me.

Do you like the way the card is written up, or is it too long: I like it.

Do you like the out-of-card segments such as the strategic report, the arena report, the Hank Cornwallis moments: Hank's moments.

I pm'ed this, but as everybody is posting it here I might aswell do the same. :)

Who is your favourite wrestler in the diary: I want to say Eric Eisen because I really love a good heel, somebody who always has a plan and does everything possible to keep hold of the title. I think Nevermore had it perfect with Raven. That said though, I am really enjoying Rich Money. From what I've about SWF he is as big a star as Jack Bruce, but had the potential to do so, so putting the belt on him seemed quite logical.

RE: The slightly pesky, immature approach commentary from Jerry Eisen, do you enjoy it or is it something you'd like to see less of: Keep it, you don't want all the announcers to be the same so it helps that he adds something different there. Kind of unique like what you had in WCW with Rhodes or Heenan.

Rich Money as the Champion. Obviously most tipped Runaway Train to hold onto it, two questions, firstly, do you think Rich Money is a good option as champion: I tipped Train because I thought I didn't see him having such a short reign, but now I look at it you probably needed him to drop the belt. He's old, not very skilled and not very over either whereas Money has brilliant skills, can cut promos which I think is very important in a Champion, and is more over.

Secondly, do you buy him winning the championship the way he did: I'm looking forward to lengthy Money reign now you've got the belt on a more credible wrestler. He impressed me in the Title match and I think it helped that he pinned the current Champion, but I was quite shocked to see him win the belt. That is something that you need in a diary though, not too much, but enough to keep it interesting and exciting.

What is your favourite storyline at the moment: Has to be the Title scene. Lots of good stuff going on there and it carries so many different possibilities. I think we'll see lots of twists and turns before it's all done.

Who do you want to see more of: Death Row, just because I really like their gimmick. :D Honestly though I think everybody that I'm digging your giving enough TV time to anyway. People like Faith and Money have been cutting brilliant promo's so I guess I just want to see as much of them as we're already seeing. I'd love to see Remo really get going, he looks like a very impressive character indeed. Maybe Richard Eisen could play a authority role or sorts a bit more?

Is there anyone you want to see less of: Frederique Antonio Garcia is somebody who I'm not really too bothered about and also probably The Bumfholes, but it's not really a major issue.

Do you like the way the card is written up, or is it too long: Sometimes short match reports can work well depending on the match, but I think you have it down fine. The PPV was awesome and I loved everything you did with WCW. I remember your epic Bret/Jericho match which was beautifully written and of course the Jericho/Benoit match among others.

Do you like the out-of-card segments such as the strategic report, the arena report, the Hank Cornwallis moments: I think it adds a nice change to any diary adding segments like these and it's something I very much want to incorporate in mine. Definitely keep them around because I'm sure everyone would agree that their brilliantly written. My favourite of the three would probably be the Hank Cornwallis moments. I like the bits of comedy you throw in there.

Thanks a lot for the views. Periodically I plan to have these sorts of interactive segments just to gauge where the diary is in terms of your own thoughts. In the end, I have to like it definitely, but it's fairly pointless to put together something publically if the people who could potentially read it don't like it.

I will have the card up later.
