Across the ring is a special, in depth view on the world of professional wrestling, with none other than Supreme Wrestling TV co-commentators Peter Michaels and Jerry Eisen, an heir apparent to the Supreme Wrestling Federation Corporation as we know it, who are here to answer YOUR questions on the issues that confront the SWF. This is a manuscript of the show, taken from swf.com

Peter Michaels: Alright, well, welcome to the first ever edition of Across the Ring. I'm Peter Michaels, the voice of Supreme Wrestling Federation, and here exclusively to assist me on SWF.com is the bosses son himself, Jerry Eisen.

Jerry Eisen: It's your pleasure, Peter.

Peter Michaels: So you keep telling me, Jerry. Fans, what a last week or so we have had here in the Supreme Wrestling Federation. Last Saturday, in the great gambling state of Nevada, in the ironically named Nothing to Lose, Rich Money gambled his lot with the World Heavyweight Championship against your brother, Eric Eisen. What has been the aftermath in the Eisen household? I do note with some chagrin that the Eisen's were somewhat quieter this last Tuesday night in Albany, New York.

Jerry Eisen: My father is a great man, Peter. Many men come to him asking for favours. All he asks for is friendship, and one day, if such a day comes, for his friend's assistance should he ever be in the need of help. And to watch him suffer in the aftermath of Nothing to Lose... it was chilling to see. Rich Money failed to meet the demands of the occasion. I just hope for his sake he doesn't have a prize horse in the stables, if you know what I mean.

Peter Michaels: I'm not sure that I do, Jerry.

Jerry Eisen: Oh, I'm sorry, you're a little more juvenile than that adult sattire. Let me put it a way that you will understand. Oompa, doompa, doompa de de, I've got another rhyme you see. You will live in happiness too, if you bow down to your boss Richard Eisen the chief. Oompa, doompa, doompa doooo!

Peter Michaels: Have you had your meds today?

Jerry Eisen: Today I am meant to take the blue one right?

Peter Michaels: No, I think today is green.

Jerry Eisen: Oh boy...

Peter Michaels: Well, I guess that means we are in for an interesting night at the office. Ok, well let's open the lines, first up from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, down there in the deep deep south, we have Randy-Jay. RJ, thanks for joining us.

...

...

RJ, you are live.

...

...

RJ, are you there?

Caller 1: Are you talking to me?

Jerry Eisen: Well I don't see nobody else?

Randy-Jay: I mean, my name is Randy-Jay, I thought you were talking to someone else. Anyway, dang ol, this is just the best. I'm a big fan. You rock. ROCK N ROLL you know.

Peter Michaels: Thank you. Ah... Rock n roll to you too!

Randy-Jay: My question surrounds the upcoming Pay-Per-View, and it's addressed to you Peter my good man, and it is in regards to the World Heavyweight Champiyunshup.

Peter Michaels: The what now?

Randy-Ray-Ray-Jay: Champiyunshup.

Peter Michaels: I'm sorry?

Randy-Jay: The title.

Peter Michaels: I've got ya.

Randy-Jay whose sister's name is Ray-Ray: Who do you see as being the most likely contender to Rich Money, yo?

Peter Michaels: Well, Randy-Jay, I'm not too sure at this stage. It's possible that in the Championship contract at Nothing to Lose that Eric Eisen did have a rematch clause, although I'm yet to have that clarified. You know, two men within the Corporate Supremacists are beginning to worry me as far as the balance of the Championship goes. The first is the current North American Champion, Big Cat Brandon James. Brandon knows absolute no boundaries in terms of how he manhandles his opponents. And being the North American Champion, for years that belt basically signified that you were ready for the next step. The second is Marat Khoklov. Looking at the heinous way he has attacked Christian Faith recently, I'm sure he's sending shock tremors around the world of professional wrestling. So, I think it will come from Eric Eisen, Brandon James or the big ole Russian Bear himself.

Alright, on line 2, we have Joey from Brooklyn, New York. How is life in the big Apple Joey? Can Jeter lead us to another title?

Caller 2: Hey ah... life is good here in Brooklyn ya know, but who wants to know? Are you the feds or somethin? Yo, jabroni, yeah I'm calling you out Jerry Eisen, as I sit here over a nice cup of coooouuuuugghhhfee, you know what I'm sayin, I want to know why a big tough guy like you has such a problem with a guy like Christian Faith, you know what I'm sayin? What's your beef with him, huh? He don't sweat you.

Jerry Eisen: And I don't sweat him either. Anytime, any place, he can take on my brother. No problems. The simple fact of the matter is, Joey, that the Corporate Supremacists are strategically leading this promotion to Nirvana. They are taking something and making it better. Yeah, it breaks with tradition and that upsets a guy like Christian Faith. And that's my problem with a guy like him.

Joey: What am I an [beep]hole or somethin? I'll have you sleeping with the fish, Jerry. Get out of here ya son of a...

Peter Michaels: Well, looks like Joey's line dropped out there. A couple more calls, what do you say? On line 3 we have BoomKing. Go ahead, BoomKing.

Caller 3: Long time listener, first time caller.

Peter Michaels: This is our first show?

Boomking: Are you disagreeing with me, Peter? I've been loyal since the start of this show. Look, ahh...

Peter Michaels: Is that kind of accent?

Boomking: I think you are the one with the accent, dear old boy. What what, guv'nor? Tally ho, pip pip and all that. Anyway my noble chum, my dear old boy, I recently won a pair of SWF poopy pants. What? Tally ho. Firstly, I'd like to thank you all for such a pleasant gift. It certainly has lifted the aroma around the palace, what. And secondly, I have to ask, is Jerry Eisen a radgie gadgie, a bit of a radio rental, what? Sometimes I wonder if the chap is truly lagered up, what?

Jerry Eisen: Yeah... well.... What are you saying? Is he dissing my mother? My mother is a saint!

Boomking: I want to talk about my dear old thing Jack Geidroyc, what? I see he's going back to growing some good old lamb chops, what? I have to ask, are the Amazing Bumfholes a bit daft? I am jolly well amused old boy by their antics. What, that Secret Agent Bumfhole looks like a dead heat in a Zeppelin race, what. Is she like Zimmy or Randy's Doris? I just want the Amazing Bumfholes to know that here in good old Britannia, the greatest empire of 'em all me old boy, that Jack Geidroyc and indeed his partner Valiant are truly the dogs bollocks.

Peter Michaels: I ... I think, yes, that's right, think... I think that's a sentiment that I share too. Finally, last caller, we have on the line BigPapa, all the way from... El Paso. Go ahead, Big Papa.

Caller 3: Orale Vatos. How are my two favourite amigo gringos?

Peter Michaels: I'm well thanks...

Jerry Eisen: Well, thanks for asking.

BigPapa: I didn't ask you, senior. You mistakenly thought I meant you, is all. Hang on a second, the wife won't keep quiet...

Juanita, ¡me escuchas bien! No estés sordeando!!

Sorry about that, gringos. Juanita, she is a chorro of trouble. Hang on for another second...

Quita tus chones sucios del suelo, Juanita!

One quick question, senior. I am very unhappy with the state of lucha libre wrestling in the United States. You gringos now feel you so much better because you see Nacho Libre and think that he's a Mexicano pape, so what I want to know is do you see room for any Mexicanos crossing the border, escaping your wild border patrol cowboys, and ending up in SWF? Hang on one more second amigo...

No quiero bronca contigo! Quita tus chones sucios del suelo, Juanita!

Peter Michaels: Thanks for the question. Well, personally I see a great future for lucha libre in this country. The truth of the matter is it is going to take some time to get this part of professional wrestling right again. But I can assure you there has been a lot of discussions about events, and what lucha libre can bring to SWF. And strategically, it's a lot. But you have to understand, in the back room we've just undergone some massive changes, and it will take time.

BigPapa: Oh thank you amigo, bless your soul.

Peter Michaels: Well, thank you all for tuning in, we'll be back again next week with another addition of ... Across the Ring. I'm Peter Michaels for Jerry Eisen, thanks for tuning in.

Good idea with the extra show mate, I think it makes sense that you won't be putting as much detail into it. Save it for the main show and the PPV's.

Thanks for the tips mate. Yes, it will be great to have a show with a lot less detail (not only from a writing perspective, I'm sure it'll be a lot simpler to read!)

Also, just on 'Across the Ring', if you have any questions regarding SWF and you'd like to be part of the segment, feel free to post them. I will endeavour to build them into the show and perform my favourite past-time of making an idiot out of Jerry Eisen :)

Duane Fry & Ana Garcia

Episode #: 1

Episode Title: In which the new generation is born

============================

Angle: Richard Eisen introduces us to the idea behind Uprising

In front of a small crowd, on a show which was to be broadcast late on Saturday night on the C.A.N.N network, Richard Eisen introduced us to a new generation. From his office, he told wrestling fans that this would be the change that the new generation would crave for. It would be the chance for them to develop against their heroes. It would be the chance for them to become the new heroes by defeating the legends. He said this show was for the Akima Brave's, the Marc Du Bois', the Robbie Retro's of this world to become the refined product that would take Supreme Wrestling Federation into the future. And he completed it all by telling wrestling fans that this would be their chance to live and breathe new history.

Enforcer Roberts v 'Mr Hollywood' Jack Bruce

But it would be two old school SWF stars who would kick off Uprising. The two men shook hands at the start of the match. It was a largely uncomplicated match with Enforcer Roberts obviously leading the tempo of the match, and Jack Bruce providing the big spots. In the end, Jack Bruce would take the victory with the New York Minute.

Result: Your winner at 10:15, Jack Bruce

Grade: B+

Angle: Emma Chase introduces the next number one contender

The beautiful, vindicative sultress Emma Chase made a shocking announcement. She said that Richard Eisen and herself had lobbied the executive committee to reward Marat Khoklov's recent unrivalled form with Marat to have a shot at Rich Money for the World Heavyweight Championship at Awesome Impact, which would be held back in the traditional second Thursday of the month slot. Emma translated for Marat that Americans thought that they were always so much better and so very good compared to Russians, and that his winning of the Championship would be the greatest world revolution since Bolshevism overtook Russia.

'Smooth' Roger Cage v Shady K

This was a very poor match. It totally turned the crowd off. The spots were sloppy, and they just weren't sold very well at all, let alone the fact that no coherent story seemed to be told. It was with a large sigh of relief that ROger Cage would put us all out of our misery with the Smooth Criminal Snap snapping Shady's neck back for the win.

Result: Your winner at 4:41, Roger Cage

#1 Contenders Match for the SWF North American Championship

Captain Atomic v John 'Squeeky' McClean v 'Aristocrat' Paul Huntingdon v 'Disco Stud' Robbie Retro v Akima Brave

This was a complex, overbooked labyrinth of near falls with a cascading and bewildering spot of finishers at the end, with numerous saves against all odds, until finally Robbie Retro secured the title shot by hitting the Saturday Night Fever DDT on Akima Brave for the pinfall.

Result: Your winner at 6:01, Robbie Retro

SWF North American Championship

'Big Cat' Brandon James © v SWF Tag Team Champion Valiant

This match was a slightly better contest, lit up by Brandon James hardcore benevolence and Valiant's willingness to break any pinfall attempt he could at all odds. The match went backwards and forth before Brandon James did manage to contain Valiant for a three count with the Big Cat Pounce.

Result: Your winner at 6:55, and STILL North American Champion, Brandon James

Grade: C

Angle: Praising the new generation

Backstage, 'Supremacist' Eric Eisen presented 'Can't Miss Prospect' Marc Du Bois with an Eisen wrestling heirloom, a belt that had been contested for a 1975 SWF Newcomer Championship Tournament in Boston. He said it was an Eisen tradition to ensure the cream rose to the top, and that in the Eisen families mind, Marc Du Bois was the best talent bar none in the wrestling world. He said that was why he was given the coveted spot in the Corporate Supremacists, as he was the foundation for the future. He implored Du Bois to take the opportunities that Uprising would deal to him to announce himself as not only the Can't Miss Prospect, but the Championship of Today and Tomorrow.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/EricEisen_alt2.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/MarcDuBois_alt2.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/GrouchoBling.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/JungleJack.jpg

'Supremacist' Eric Eisen and 'Can't Miss Prospect' Marc Du Bois v Jungle Strike (Gregory Black and Jungle Lord)

This was a good tag team match. Nothing overly special, but a good tag team match. Gregory Black, somewhat of an expert in tag team tactics, was able to control the tempo well for Jungle Strike. However, Marc Du Bois energy and agility to crawl between Jungle Lord's legs to tag in Eisen turned the bout, with the Supremacist himself finishing Jungle Lord off by snapping back on his neck with the Silver Spoon Shock for the win.

Result: Your winners at 7:24, Marc Du Bois and Eric Eisen

Grade: B-

Video Recap

We recapped some of the interest surrounding Christian Faith and Vengeance. Their history against one another. The morbid brutality that was being dished out by Vengeance. We looked at the history of Christian Faith the legend, and the video surmised whether Vengeance would be the one to end the legacy.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/ChristianFaith.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/vs11.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/SkullDeBones_alt.jpg

'Living Legend' Christian Faith v 'The Ungodly Warrior' Vengeance

Easily the match of the night. And what a great way to end the first Uprising. Two outstanding legends. Some still say they are in the prime of their careers, but undoubtedly for the purposes of Uprising, they will be involved in bringing new stars through this show. This was a good, tough, brawl. Vengeance completely dominated, but Christian Faith refused to be pinned in any way shape or form. The frustration was brewing in Vengeance, and eventually he threw Christian over the top rope. He followed him up the aisle, brawling away, seemingly unconcerned that the referee was making the ten count.

Result: No contest due to double count out at 12:35

Grade: B+

Angle: What good is a kendo stick?

Just ask the back and ribs of Christian Faith, as Marc Du Bois came to ensure that Vengeance ended the match on a high, cracking the kendo stick over the prone body of Christian Faith. Quite clearly, Marc Du Bois had made an impact....

Wow shock win indeed, how did Eric Eisen handle the loss? Give you any guff? This part of a brand split or just taking on a new show?

Nice show, plenty of star power I thought to establish the new show. But that just my opinion.

In terms of Nothing to Lose? Rich's pop is sky high so there was no qualms bro.

Not really a brand split, I'm a long way ahead in TEW and have an idea for a brand split, but am skeptical about ever committing to one due to the workload I'm sure it'd involve.

Yo, welcome to the two boyz from your crib down in the Five Points, yo. Straight up, can you believe that big Dicky Eisenhower forgot to give us a match again? What a chump. But never fear, 'sal good, they can'ts stop us from putting up our tips for Supreme TV...

- First up, its Dicky's boy Marc Du Bois against Christian Faith. Christian Faith has been beating on dopes since Dr J was shooting hoops from the front row where Shady's mama be sitting at. Christian Faith, fo shizzle. Knuckles says Christian Faith fo sho.

- Then we have Squeeky against Jacky Bruce baby. Jacky Bruce is fly for a white guy, he's like the Jacky Robinson of wrasslin. We'll be hanging and banging fo dis match fo sho, but we both believe that Squeeky will find some way to beat our boy Jacky Bruce.

- If you diggin it like we are, you'll be bawling to see the Bumfholes against Jacky Geidroyc and Valzy. Yo, if we waz fightin against the Bumfholes, we'd be all like, sup b? You know what I'm sayin. You feeling us. We'd be all like, sup b? Why you slaggin around. White folks think she's hot. I wouldn't be goin a bay bay to her. She's not fly. Where's her booty at? Knuckles brah, she's got no booty! She's not bootylicious. You know what I'm sayin. None the less, we think Randy and Zippy-do-do go over here.

- This is how it goes down fo real between daddy's boy Eric and Lobster Warrior. Respect for the Warrior, yo. Lobster Warrior would be bawling fo real as a hoodrat. We have heard Eric talk a lot lately, but Eric, punk, ain't nobody been asking you for yo 2 cents! That's why we feel Lobster Warrior going to commit a 187 on your [beep]. Yeah, you heard us, dope.

- Then we close it all off, cordon it all yo, when Marat and Angry Gilmore go fly against Steve Frehley and Rich Money. People ask us why we so fly with Steve Frehley, don't be all up in the kool-aid, its jus bizness. Marat is hella hosed having to face up against Rich Money. He's gonna busta cap yo. Rich Money has been busting into the key long before Jesus-C was sinking free throws, yo. Yo Rich fly boy, you are money. You know what I'm sayin. So Rich and Steve Frehley for us...

If Bumfholes are going to get those titles it´s need to happen soon as this is third encounter if I remember right...if this would be PPV I would go with Bumfholes but I doubt title change is happening in normal TV match so close after their PPV match so champs retain here.

Steve Frehley and SWF World Heavyweight Champion, 'Lone Wolf' Rich Money

When you doubt it´s usually good idea to go with champ so that´s what I´m doing here

'Can't Miss Prospect' Marc Du Bois v 'Living Legend' Christian Faith

Du Bois isn´t ready yet to beat someone like Faith

John 'Squeeky' McClean v 'Mr Hollywood' Jack Bruce

Squeeky isn´t jobber by any means but he isn´t main eventer either so Bruce takes this one

SWF World Tag Team Championships: Jack Geidroyc and Valiant © v The Amazing Bumfholes

If Bumfholes are going to get those titles it´s need to happen soon as this is third encounter if I remember right...if this would be PPV I would go with Bumfholes but I doubt title change is happening in normal TV match so close after their PPV match so champs retain here.

'The Supremacist' Eric Eisen v Lobster Warrior

Hi all,

Firstly, thanks to everyone who's perservered and continued to read this, my first real go in anything over than TEW05 and in the Cornvellverse itself. It's been a blast.

Sadly, time is just not with me at the moment. My job is becoming quite demanding, and that's on top of full time study and my family. I've tried a fair few times to come in here and start writing up the next show, but it literally ends up being days and I'm like a quarter the way though the show, purely because of how many times I am called away and the little time I get to spend on here anyhow.

It's such a pity in many respects, as some of you know I'm one of the rare types that likes to book a fair way into the future and I was mid-way through 2013. The roster has evolved to how I like it (in that I've basically been able to bring in 10 or so wrestlers that I desperately wanted, and I've been able to shape the roster set up to suit my preferences of performance first), the SWF title is at 100, and I've come up with some I think anyhow edgy storylines. It's an interesting stage in that Richard Eisen restricts your allowance in contract values, TCW seem to constantly be able to outbid you, and now NOTBPW are becoming a true contender to knock off the SWF. I'm probably as proud of the booking and the craft in the storylines as I was in either DOWCW or PTDOWCW.

...Speaking of which.. as much as I try to shy away from it, WCW always has a soft spot for me. At the moment, I'm working on transferring the data from '05 into a '10 modification of genadi's mod. I'm staying as true as possible to his set up in terms of the percentages of overnesses etc, but basically adapting the positions on the card. The objective is, should I get time in the future that it'd be great to go back into PTDOWCW and drive it forward. Who knows? It may happen, really depends if time comes to fruition.

Anyway, as is the case with most of my diaries, there comes a point when time doesn't permit it to carry on, but then I go out on a limb and restart it anyway, so I couldn't say this is dead, I would probably add its on hiatus.

Once again, thanks to all your support, and truthfully, I do feel sorry for letting any readers of this diary down. I am somewhat pleased to say while this goes on a hiatus, there are a collection of excellent diaries on this board which I'm sure will take your fancy quite well.

Cheers

T

Terribly disappointing. This was one of my very favorite versions of SWF on these boards. Maybe you could load your data up to the save game thread in the General Discussion part of the forum, just so we might see where the game took you from here.

Hopefully you find time to keep this alive down the road. Cheers for the entertaining reading up to now.
