I watched an Andromeda gameplay video. I'm not terribly excited so I'll take my time playing ME2/3 again before I purchase. Won't really spare me a coin, though, but it'll save me a bug or two.

And good god: who here has never played BG2. You kiddin' me? Unless you are, in fact, a kid. :p

I should've been all over Pillars (and I was as I backed it from day 4 or something years ago), but the story is so complicated compared to its peers that after not playing for a month you're basically left clueless. Gameplay-wise, I thought it was quite good if not great. Yes... BG great.

I joined this forum in 2011 but was lurking since 2009 when I was 15. I really didnt have the patience for something like Baldur Gate, Neverwinter or anything remotely like that. I wouldn't play RPG's unless they looked like Fallout 3 or Skyrim. I didn't really get into them until I got extra, extra hooked in reading fiction especially anything that had multiple books in the series. Ended really interested in any game that told a story with lore and most importantly character based. If it had a sequel it was even bigger bait for me.

Still having problem is wrapping my head correctly around stats and specially the magic system especially when I play a lot of games with different styles like JRPG's and other ones with unique systems. Plus really hate the damage info and other such stuff. Still fun learning and getting into the lore of the different worlds be it D&D. Warhammer, or Elder Scrolls.

From what I've seen I have no interest in Andromeda.

I've also heard that there was suppose to be a second delay but EA didn't want to delay a second time from what they announced.

I've seen a lot of release footage on the game and it looks garbage to me. Mass Effect 3 a game that came out on last gen consoles feels way more polished then what they are trying to shell out here.

I stand by my earlier statement and will continue to vote with my wallet....I'm not sure there is anything at this point that could win me back honestly.

I understand if people want to skip Andromeda based on some of the questionable stuff that has been released recently but the "ending of ME3 ruined Andromeda for me" reasoning makes no sense to me. It's kinda like saying "I don't want to watch Batman Begins because I hated Batman & Robin."

Maybe Andromeda will be garbage, maybe not. But for me personally, the universe was too beautiful, minus a controversial ending, for me to not want to visit it once more

That kind of comparison is wrong. That is the same comparison as Zelda Majora's Mask and Zelda Windwaker.
I'm with K-Nection on this. They build up an exciting universe that I participate in and care for in 3 games spanning what, 150-200 hours - only to blow it up with a crappy ending in the last 15 min of the game... why would I now care for another game in the series? Not only did they destroy everything that was good about the original trilogy - they also betrayed my trust and have me worried that they'll do something similar if I should fall in love with this new universe as well...

About X-Men Origins: Wolverine, messing up Deadpool was not even in the top five of my biggest gripes with that thing... but don't get me started on the X-Men movies - I've considered boycutting them several times due to their utter disregard of established continuity. Heck, I almost didn't watch First Class when it came out...

Enough about the ending of 3 already. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Like I mentioned earlier, I thought it was kinda poetic. You make choices in your life all the time, but in the end, you die all the same. Why live at all? I do get that that kind of ending bums people out. There should've been a good alternative. But does it really impact your opinion of the next game, that probably has different teams working on it, or the same team that had to deal with the backlash after the last game? It will be different now or their credibility will be severely damaged.

So I say... Believe the hype. Roman Reigns turns out great in the end. Didn't he? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Oh well, we all have our opinions. I for one thought DA:Inquisition was a soulless piece of crap. The second one was even worse, and though I declares DA:Origins to be my GotY, there just weren't that many interesting games (for me).

How long would you wait before playing ME:Andromeda? Would there be an animation patch somewhere in the future? Personally I don't mind facial expressions on the main character (she could have a 'condition'), but the walking animations look painfully odd sometimes. There could be DLC after a while, which is annoying given I still haven't played the Citadel DLC because it was so late.
