Cherry Bomb vs. Raven Robinson

Could go either way, but I think Raven's still a face right and the champs a heel. So I say she gets the win here...don't really have much other logic than that, in a match that could quite honestly go either way.

DeMento and UEW Wrestler Joey Beauchamp vs. The Fly Boys

Two jobbers thrown together against a genuine team, hmm I wonder who will win this one . By the way what's happened to James Justice?, who of course brought James Prudence into USPW.

Nikolai Taktarov vs. Jack America

I'm getting the feeling you have plans to push yourself beyond the glorified jobber role, looks like the head bookers ego is growing :p My though here is Jack America picks up the DQ win following some Global Warning inteference.

USPW World Television Title Match, 10 Minute Time Limit: Matthew Keith defends vs. Art Reed (Time Limit Draw)

Unless you're going to actually surprise us, the 10 Minute time limit stip kind of telegraphs the finish.

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Steve Flash

Flash is getting another shot at the World Title, so it's best to keep him strong here.

Mark me down for these, my friend! :D

Last Week on USPW American Wrestling:

  • Enygma and American Elemental opened the show, ending in AE getting caught in the Enygma Variation.
  • Acid and Art Reed defeated Global Warning when Nikolai tapped out to Art Reed's Dread Lock.
  • Shane Sneer and The Titans challenged Champion Force to a Street Fight at Midsummer Mayhem.
  • Bruce the Giant and Jack America got into a confrontation. These two will meet at Midsummer Mayhem for the USPW National title.
  • Alicia Strong and Joanne Rodriguez defeated Eve Grunge and Cherry Bomb. Then an argument broke out between the two winners.
  • Matthew Keith successfully defended the USPW World Television title against Freddie Datsun.
  • Enygma and Darryl Devine defeated Chris Caulfield and Steve Flash when Caulfield gave up to the Enygma Variation following interference by The Hardcore Brotherhood.
  • The Hardcore Brotherhood sent Chris Caulfield through a table following the match.

[Hello everyone and welcome to USPW American Wrestling! What a show we have planned for you this evening. The crowd stands on their feet as someone walks out that we haven't seen in awhile. It's the former USPW Women's Champion Raven Robinson! Raven high fives the crowd and then steps inside the ring, being handed a microphone.]

Raven Robinson

"In every dream there is a whisper. A nearly silent voice that calls to you saying that this cannot be real. This cannot be happening. In every nightmare, there is a shout. A scream saying that you are trapped within this world forever. My nightmare began when I lost my USPW Women's title. I hear that shout, that scream each and every single day that I am awake and living within this nightmare without that Women's title belt. That is why I am entering the Women's invitational match. That is why I must face Belle Bryden and return to the dream world rather than the nightmare. To the nightmare, I must say..."

Cherry Bomb

"NEVERMORE, right? Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore."

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/CherryBomb_jhd1.jpg

[Cherry Bomb walks out from the back to boos from the crowd for interrupting the fan favorite Raven Robinson. Cherry looks just a little frustrated, like she might just explode at any moment. Cherry enters the ring with a microphone of her own.]

Cherry Bomb

"Nevermore. Nevermore. I am sick and tired of hearing you say that. It gets lodged in my head. Nevermore. Nevermore. It gets stuck within my brain over and over again. It makes me just want..to..explode!"

[Cherry hits Raven with the microphone and then drops it and mounts her with punches. An official comes out and it looks like our opening match is on!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/CherryBomb_jhd1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/RavenNightfall_alt2.jpg

Cherry Bomb vs. Raven Robinson

[in spite of the buildup, the fans really didn't get into this opening contest. Cherry Bomb had the obvious starting advantage in the match but that all turned around when she tried to suplex Raven and Raven blocked it, reversing with a suplex of her own. As fans continued to file into the arena, Raven held the advantage. She took down Cherry Bomb with the Night Faller and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Raven Robinson (Via Pinfall @ 7:40)

Match Rating: D+

[We are taken to a video courtesy of the USPW-Tron. An atomic bomb explosion begins the video and then a fade-in to Global Warning standing in front of a blinking black and white background.]

Johnny Bloodstone

"Welcome everyone to Global Warning. Scientists were predicting that this day would come. They just didn't know that it would as deadly as the three of us right here. Midsummer Mayhem, Nikolai has the night off, but he will be right there at ringside to watch as I dismantle the traitorous Canadian Art Reed. He had an opportunity a long time ago to become part of Global Warning but he turned against us. He turned on us and now we turn our backs on him. Then this man Bruce the Giant is going to take care of Jack America. Then, soon, when I tell him to, he will turn that National title over to the leader of Global Warning: Johnny Bloodstone."

[bruce looks at Johnny sideways for a moment, looking rather confused at that statement. It looks like Johnny didn't run that by Bruce before bringing it on the air. Johnny pats Bruce on the back.]

Johnny Bloodstone

"Don't worry, Bruce. That title will remain all in the family. It will remain a part of Global Warning."

[bruce just slowly nods his head and Nikolai looks on in silence as we are taken from there to backstage.]

[We are taken to a hallway where a brawl has broken out between the USPW World Tag Team Champions The Titans and their #1 Challengers Champion Force. Neither side appears to be backing down from the other and the brawl is taken all the way outside the building until road agents and officials can step in to break things up before they really get out of hand.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/DustyBin_alt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JoeyBeauchamp.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JamesPrudence.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/DonnieJ.jpg

DeMento and UEW Wrestler Joey Beauchamp vs. The Fly Boys

[This is the first time that James Prudence has been seen in USPW since he was put through a table by The Hardcore Brotherhood several weeks back. Donnie J put in the majority of work for his team though they did do a little Poetry In Motion on DeMento. Joey Beauchamp was back in the ring as the fans came back from their bathroom break and he got locked in the Prudential Pain Plan by James Prudence. It was only a matter of moments before he tapped.]

Winners: The Fly Boys (Via Submission @ 5:51)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Enygma_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BulldozerBrandon_alt2.jpg

[We are taken backstage via the USPW-Tron where another fight has broken out. This time the man known as Enygma has slammed American Patriot against the wall. He takes him down and locks on the Enygma Variation! The crowd boos heavily in the background as American Patriot yells for help and in pain! Enygma stretches out that ankle and American Patriot is in a serious amount of pain here! Road Agents and officials finally return from breaking up the fight between The Titans and Champion Force and are somehow able to pull Enygma off American Patriot. Enygma just smirks at the deed he's done and he walks off, satisfied as EMTs come to check on American Patriot.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/RandallHopkirk_jhdangel.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JackAvatar_dse81.jpg

Nikolai Taktarov vs. Jack America

[The definite best match of the night so far saw the power of the big Russian Nikolai Taktarov against the speed and quickness of Jack America. America did his best to stay out of the grasp of the Russian early on but he got caught outside the ring and rammed against the ring post by Taktarov. Taktarov tossed America back inside and took him down with a big body slam. Nikolai decided to try something that was a little out of his range by going to the middle turnbuckle. He leaped off and American dodged the kneedrop. America rolled to his feet and gained the advantage. He used that quickness again to his advantage. He was able to hook a front facelock on Taktarov -- Fisherman's Buster! America made the quick cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Jack America (Via Pinfall @ 6:18)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShaneSneer.jpg

[We head to the backstage once again courtesy of the USPW-Tron. Shane Sneer is standing by dressed in a suit as always. He looks toward the camera with his usual angry look.]

Shane Sneer

"Next week, USPW fans, you are going to see the debut of a man who is going to take USPW by storm. You are going to see the charge of the newest member of the Sneer Corporation. This is a man who is going to dominate the singles ranks like my Titans dominate the tag team ranks. Compare him to guys like Bruce the Giant, Chris Caulfield, even Darryl Devine. This man will prove that he has what it takes to beat them all inside the ring. And you will see him starting next week right here on USPW American Wrestling."

[Just who could this mystery man be? Tune in next week to find out, of course! Now, we head to a different backstage area.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AliciaStrong.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JoanneRodriguez.jpg

[We are taken to the women's locker room where Alicia Strong and Joanne Rodriguez, partners last week, are already in the process of an argument.]

Joanne Rodriguez

"Alicia, why in the world did you tag yourself in last week? I had the match won."

Alicia Strong

"We still won the match, didn't we? I just don't think you gave me enough time in the ring during the course of the match so I had to take it."

Joanne Rodriguez

"You are so selfish, daddy's little girl."

[Alicia slaps J-Ro for that comment! J-Ro grabs a handful of Alicia's hair! The two begin throwing some slaps and J-Ro sends Strong to the ground by the hair! Strong charges forward and trips up J-Ro! The crowd has no idea who to cheer for here. The two women fight on the ground as officials come in to once again break things up. It's a wild night here on USPW American Wrestling!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[We are taken to a darkened room where nothing can be seen within the room. In fact, is it even a room? A dim light bulb hanging from the ceiling turns on to reveal 'The Hardcore American' Chris Caulfield standing in the center of the room with a leather strap in his hand. He whips the strap across so everyone can hear the sound that it makes.]

Chris Caulfield

"Hardcore Brotherhood, I'm still alive. I'm still up and I'm still walking around. In other words, you didn't get the job done last week. But I am coming for you. I am coming for each and every one of you and I will begin with Shawn Gonzalez. Do you really think that power bombing me through a table is going to stop the Hardcore American?"

[Chris whips off his bandana revealing some scars on his forehead.]

Chris Caulfield

"I have had worse done to me in my younger days, Shawn. You have had worse done to you. At Midsummer Mayhem, you are going to have worse done to you. Remember how I said that I get to pick the stipulation? You and I are going to have us an old-fashioned strap match. You can only win by dragging your opponent to all four corners and touching each of those four corners in succession. But you're not going to be concious when I do that. I will make sure of that. You want hardcore? You're about to get hardcore American style."

[Chris whips the strap again and uses it to turn off the light within the room, plunging the USPW-Tron into darkness once again.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/mattkeithf.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ArtReed.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW_TV.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match

10 Minute Time Limit

Matthew Keith defends vs. Art Reed

[Two masters of technical wrestling in this one. It's 'Perfection' versus the 'Pure Athlete.' The first few minutes had each wrestler feeling each other out. Neither man moved in for a kill and neither man looked ready to expose a possible weakness. Keith whips Reed into the corner and follows him in but Reed leaps up and over, sending Keith chest-first into the corner. Reed wraps his arms around Keith -- German Suplex! Reed rolls over and hits another German Suplex! This time he holds a bridge and Keith's shoulders are down on the mat: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Matthew Keith barely kicked out before the three count! Reed pulls Keith to his feet and nails him with a picture perfect dropkick! The Pure Athlete goes for the Dread Lock but Keith reaches the ropes before the hold can be put on.]

[The USPW World Television Champion has had his toughest test to date so far in Art Reed. Keith went to the eyes and then hit a few forearm smashes on the former DaVE wrestler. Keith rolled Reed so his head was on the bottom rope. Keith leaped -- guillotine legdrop! What a move! The crowd boos Perfection as he plays to them outside the ring for a moment. He rolls back in and grabs the legs of Reed. He's going for the Proton Lock! Reed manages to pull his body to the ropes and get there before the hold can be set in. Reed dodges a clothesline attempt and then body slams Keith to the mat. Reed hits a standing legdrop and then heads to the top turnbuckle. He stands with his back facing the mat -- HANG TIME MOONSAULT! The move connected! Reed crawls over and makes a cover: 1 -- 2 -- DING! DING! DING!]

Winner: Draw (Time Limit Finish @ 10:00)

Match Rating: C+

[The referee did NOT reach a three count before the bell sounded! The crowd boos as Art Reed stands and raises his arm but the referee puts it back down, explaining that the bell sounded before Reed got the three count. Referee Jez McArthuer hands the belt to Matthew Keith. Matthew pulls himself up and Art Reed shows a gesture of sportsmanship, offering his hand to Matthew Keith. Perfection just shakes his head and exits the ring. What a sign of disrespect!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShawnGonzalez_jhd.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TravisCentury.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JDMorgan_alt.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SteveFlash.jpg

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Steve Flash

[We are down to our main event of the evening and it is one that fans are definitely anticipating. Shawn Gonzalez came down to the ring with the rest of the Hardcore Brotherhood in his corner. Steve Flash came out alone, looking as stoic and focused as ever as he faces across from a member of the Hardcore Brotherhood. Both of these two men have similar styles, much like the match before this one. The feeling out period is shorter though as Gonzalez steps in and is able to toss Steve Flash over the top rope to the outside of the ring. Flash lands in a heap and Gonzalez stands over looking down at him. Referee Wilson Carlisle steps in to make Gonzalez stand back. JD Morgan gets in a kick to the ribs of the #1 contender outside the ring before tossing him back inside the ring. The crowd boos this blatant outside interference but cheer when they see someone coming to even the odds a little more.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

['The Hardcore American' Chris Caulfield walks down to ringside and he's not alone! He's got that leather strap in hand. Gonzalez rams Flash back into the corner and then snap mares him out. Gonzalez with a straight kick to the back of the neck of Flash. Gonzalez picks him up and hooks him -- vertical suplex in the center of the ring! Gonzalez bounces off the ropes -- Big Splash! Gonzalez turns it into a cover:]

[...1...

...2...

Kickout!]

[The crowd breathes a sigh of relief as Steve Flash kicks out from the pinfall attempt. Gonzalez picks up the #1 contender and hooks him between his legs. He pulls him up for a Power Bomb -- reversed! Flash hooked Gonzalez around the head and brought him down to the mat in a DDT! What a counter move by The Remarkable One! Flash pulls himself up and hooks Gonzalez around the waist -- gutwrench power bomb! What a powerful move by Steve Flash! Flash pulls Gonzalez up and hooks him around the neck -- tornado DDT! Flash makes the cover but there's no referee to count! The referee is busy with Travis Century over by the corner! JD Morgan enters the ring -- KEE-RACK! The sound of the strap cracking can easily be heard and more importantly it can be felt by JD Morgan! Morgan quickly exits the ring and Gonzalez takes a shot from the strap before Caulfield exits the ring. Steve Flash looks to take advantage of the situation. He sends Gonzalez to the ropes and he hits heads with Travis Century! Century is knocked off the apron! Chris Caulfield comes around, chasing JD Morgan through the crowd. Flash drops Gonzalez with a Flash Bang! Flash makes the cover, hooking the leg:]

[...1...

...2...

...3!]

Winner: Steve Flash (Via Pinfall @ 14:01)

Match Rating: B

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Devine_alt2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Seduction.jpg

[A big pinfall victory for Steve Flash as he heads toward Midsummer Mayhem and a Cage match with Darryl Devine! Speaking of Devine, the USPW World Champion walks out from the back and has a staredown with Steve Flash alongside Seduction. The two men just eye each other up from different areas and we're out of time. We'll see you next week!]

JD Morgan vs. Chris Caulfield

Caulfield's a former World Champion and is still be pushed pretty strong.

Andre Jones vs. Bob Casey

Andre Jones has slipped in standing in recent months but he hasn't slipped so far to be jobbing to Bob Casey.

Shane Sneer's Mystery Sneer Corporation Member vs. Captain USA

Mystery Man Guesses: Giant Tana (just to be different)

It would be funny for all Shane Sneer's big talk about his new additon to Sneer Corp, if they went out and lost to Captain Ancient, but I'd doubt that is what will actually happen.

Cherry Bomb vs. Raven Robinson vs. April Appleseed

Cherry Bomb sort of gets a win back here against Raven, in the fact that she wins the match but pins Appleseed and not her rival.

Non Title: Darryl Devine vs. Alex Braun

Non title means that the fans will buy into Braun having more chance of pulling off the upset but at the end of the day the champ will still win to remain looking strong.

[Our three man commentary booth welcomes everyone to USPW American Wrestling as we are less than a week away from Midsummer Mayhem! What an amazing pay-per-view show that should be! Their words fade some by the entrance music of the 'All American Boy' Jack America! Jack walks down toward the ring handing out mini American flags to all of the fans in the front row so they can wave them back and forth. He steps inside the ring and gives that All American smile as he is handed a microphone.]

Jack America

"USA! USA! USA! USA!"

[Jack gets the crowd to begin with chants of 'USA!' What a way to get a United States Pro Wrestling show started!]

Jack America

"Within the past several weeks, we have been attacked by a deadly trio. Three men who call themselves Global Warning." [bOOS!] "Well, I have news for Global Warning. The United States does NOT take these kind of threats laying down. We are a PROUD nation. We are a group that is ready to fight against the tyranny of other governments. We are the best country in the world! The land of the free and the home of the brave! This Saturday night at Midsummer Mayhem I have to scale the biggest mountain of them all. I step inside the ring against Bruce the Giant for the USPW National title. But I step inside the ring with the power of all of my Americans at my back. I step inside the ring with the power of the U.S.A. and that is a power that never says die. That is a power that."

[Jack smirks and pauses in his words for a moment as he is interrupted by the music of Global Warning.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[uSPW National Champion Bruce the Giant walks out from the back with the USPW National title slung over his right shoulder. He does not look happy but when does he ever look happy, right? He walks right down to the ring and steps over the top rope to get inside. He is towering over Jack America right now but Jack is NOT backing down. Bruce reaches down and shoves Jack America back into a corner! The crowd boos but Jack springs right back into the chest of Bruce the Giant! A 'USA' chant is deafening here in the Centerpiece Bridge! Bruce grabs Jack -- Giant Headbutt! Jack falls to the mat from the headbutt and crawls over to the ropes. He pulls himself back up using the ropes and he still doesn't back down! Jack begins throwing punches to the massive chest of Bruce the Giant. Bruce grabs Jack around the throat -- Giant Choke Slam! Jack crumples on the mat and Bruce looks around to the crowd for a moment.]

[bruce exits the ring having done his damage. He grabs one of the American flags in the front row and breaks it with one hand! The crowd boos and Jack America starts twitching and moving. Jack reaches for the ropes. He has to use the ropes to get to his feet but he is pulling himself up! The crowd goes insane! Jack America is STILL STANDING! Bruce looks impressed outside the ring but he continues up the ramp. The 'USA' chant comes back into play and Jack America exits the ring. He is definitely getting some type of power from this pro-America crowd.]

Match #1

JD Morgan vs. Chris Caulfield

[An opening matchup that saw JD Morgan come out alone to face Chris Caulfield. Chris gave his bandana to the kid who got his American flag taken and broken by Bruce the Giant. These two men brought out the best in each other inside this squared circle. The fight took place both inside the ring and outside the ring. Chris sent JD into the ring post outside the ring and gave him a clothesline splash against the ring post! Back inside the ring, Morgan took down Caulfield with a gutwrench suplex for a two count. Caulfield battled back in this one and avoided a body slam attempt by Morgan. He caught Morgan from behind -- Danger Drop! Caulfield made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Chris Caulfield (Via Pinfall @ 8:24)

Match Rating: B

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TravisCentury.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShawnGonzalez_jhd.jpg

[As Caulfield got the three count, the other two members of the Hardcore Brotherhood came out to the ring! Caulfield got to his feet and went right after both of them as they entered the ring but the numbers advantage was a little too great for the Hardcore Brotherhood. Shawn Gonzalez brought his own strap to the ringside area and he wrapped it around the throat of Chris Caulfield. He threw Caulfield over the top rope, choking him with the strap! Road Agents and Officials came running down to help out the Hardcore American. Gonzalez finally released and Caulfield fell to ringside. These two men will be doing battle at Midsummer Mayhem in a strap match!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Enygma_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AmericanElemental.jpg

[We head backstage via the power of the USPW-Tron and a focus is given to a hallway where screams can be heard. The camera pans down to show American Elemental in the midst of an Enygma Variation by Enygma himself! American Elemental is screaming for help and anything that might break the hold before Enygma breaks his ankle. Enygma is facing this man at Midsummer Mayhem. The attention there brings Road Agents and Officials to finally pull Enygma off American Elemental. Enygma gives a smug look, crossing his arms over his chest and staring down at American Elemental for a moment before walking off.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChampagneLover.jpg

[Through the power of the USPW-Tron, we are taken to an outside cafe during the daytime where people are sitting and sipping coffee. The camera pans around the people until it comes upon the man known as Champagne Lover. Lover takes a sip from a mug of coffee and then looks toward the camera.]

Champagne Lover

"Hey yo. Take a good look at the man sitting before you. My name? My name is Champagne Lover. I am living the good life. I am living the high life, chicos. I have the best of everything, including wrestling ability. I am coming to USPW to get the best of everything there. Remember the name, chicos: Champagne Lover."

[Champagne Lover tosses the mug against the wall, shattering it in a million pieces. He smiles and leans back in the chair and we head back to the ring.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AndreJones.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BobCasey.jpg

Andre Jones vs. Bob Casey

[A definite squash match as fans have come to expect any time that Bob Casey steps into the ring. This is the return of Andre Jones and his Volleyball named Henry. Jones kept Casey down on the mat and dominated throughout the encounter. As fans headed off to the restroom and the concession stands, Jones nailed Casey with the Blast From The Past Piledriver and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Andre Jones (Via Pinfall @ 5:36)

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Acid.jpg

[The lights within the arena flickered a few times and then went out completely. The fans within attendance sat waiting to see just who was going to come out of the darkness. As the lights came back on, Acid was standing in the middle of the ring! Acid got face-to-face with Andre Jones. The two men prepared to do battle but the lights went out again. When they came back on, Acid was gone. These two men will meet at Midsummer Mayhem!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SteveFlash.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AlexBraun.jpg

[The USPW-Tron lights up once again and turns the attention to the locker room area. Alex Braun is shown stretching, leaning against the bench. He looks up after a moment and comes face-to-face with Steve Flash. Steve offers a hand and Alex accepts, shaking his hand as the two look each other in the eyes.]

Steve Flash

"Tonight, Alex, you get a shot at Darryl Devine. You're going to show him that us older guys can wrestle too."

[Alex nods. The Iceman quiet as he almost always is.]

Steve Flash

"Good talking with you, Alex."

[Alex nods again. He is focused on his match later tonight with Darryl Devine.]

Shane Sneer's Mystery Sneer Corporation Member vs. Captain USA

[Captain USA came limping down to the ring for this matchup selling the ankle injury from a few weeks back when he was attacked by Enygma. Shane Sneer came out to the ring next. Without needing to say a word, he motioned toward the back and some tribal music began to play.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/RhinoUmaga.jpg

[Rhino Umaga came tearing through the curtain! He yelled at the fans at ringside and made his way down to the ring looking every bit a savage samoan as he can look. He stepped into the ring and went right after Captain USA. Rhino tore USA apart throughout this match. He showed that he is a smart savage in that he went after the ankle of USA early and often. Captain USA had to fight a lot of the match from the mat. USA finally pulled himself up in the turnbuckle and Rhino nailed him with the Rhino Charge in the corner! USA fell to the mat and Shane Sneer yelled for Rhino to cover him. Rhino made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! What a dangerous beast this Rhino Umaga is! Who can stop the Sneer Corporation?]

Winner: Rhino Umaga (Via Pinfall @ 6:07)

Match Rating: D

[We head backstage once again. This time, the interview area is filled with three bodies: USPW interviewer Sara Silver, Seduction and the USPW World Champion 'Mighty Fine' Darryl Devine! Darryl has on as ****y a smile as he ever has as he looks toward the camera. His USPW World title belt is over his shoulder as Sara turns slightly to look at him and Seduction.]

Sara Silver

"First of all, Darryl, thanks for giving me the opportunity for this interview. This is Sara Silver along with Darryl Devine, the USPW World Champion. Darryl has a major match coming tonight as he takes on the Iceman Alex Braun and then this Saturday he defends his USPW World title against Remarkable Steve Flash inside in a steel cage. Darryl, your thoughts on these two upcoming contests?"

Darryl Devine

"My thoughts, Sara? My thoughts are very simple. Neither of those two men are up to my level. Neither of them are even close to being mighty fine. Do you even think there is anyone in this company that can come close to competing with me? Seduction, get her out of here."

[seduction grabs Sara Silver and shoves her off-camera. Darryl gives that smirk to her and then back to the camera.]

Darryl Devine

"Tonight Alex Braun is going to learn why I am the World Champion and he's just old. It's going to be the same way at Midsummer Mayhem with Steve Flash. Steve, I know you're the old man of the bunch and you're just getting your big break here in USPW but I'm not ready to give up my spot. In fact, I'd say I'm looking better than ever. But you're not looking so good, Steve. You're looking just like what I say you are: an old man. Tonight, Steve, I want you to have a good look at what happens to Alex Braun inside the ring. You're going to see what happens when old men step into a young man's game."

[seduction runs her hand down Darryl Devine's chest and we head back to the ring.]

Cherry Bomb vs. Raven Robinson vs. April Appleseed

[Our semi main event features three of the top women's wrestlers in the game today fighting as we head toward the Women's Invitational at Midsummer Mayhem. In the beginning, Raven and April worked together against Cherry Bomb. They took her down with a double clothesline and Cherry Bomb rolled out of the ring. April turned and took down Raven with a kick to the gut and a DDT! April made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Definitely every woman for herself! April pulled Raven up and whipped her to the ropes. She lowered her head but Raven caught her with a kick to the skull! Raven caught April with a clothesline and then turned and got caught with a clothesline by Cherry Bomb!]

[The next few minutes were spent proving that this was an open match. All three women showed their skills in this encounter until the end. April was sent over the top rope and to the outside leaving Raven and Cherry inside the ring. Cherry went for the Cherry Bomb but Raven landed on her feet! Raven kicked Cherry in the gut -- Night Faller! Raven made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! Definite momentum heading into the Women's Invitational!]

Winner: Raven Robinson (Via Pinfall @ 9:57)

Non Title

Darryl Devine vs. Alex Braun

["miracle man...your miracle man...your miracle man...your"

The crowd boos at the music that begins to play as your USPW World Champion Darryl Devine walks out to the ring with Seduction. Seduction opens the ropes for him and he steps inside the ring absorbing in the boos from the crowd. 'The Iceman' Alex Braun comes walking out to the ring looking as stoic as ever. The two men meet in the center of the ring and then Darryl steps over to the ropes as Alex feigns a punch. Devine has Braun pushed back by the referee. The crowd boos this stalling tactic by the USPW World Champion. The two men lock up and Devine wraps Braun in a side headlock. Braun pushes Devine to the ropes -- Shoulderblock by Braun! Braun bounces off the ropes and then jumps over Devine and comes back off the ropes -- leapfrog by Devine! Braun bounces off the ropes quickly -- clothesline to the back of the head of Devine! Devine falls to the mat. Braun locks in a side headlock on the mat. Devine works his way back to his feet and gets to the ropes, forcing referee Wilson Carlisle to break the hold.]

[Devine uses a cheap shot to Braun while the referee is pulling him back. Devine steps in quickly and tosses the Iceman out of the ring. Devine raises his arms and gets the referee's attention. Seduction moves around and kicks Braun in the ribs while Devine has the referee's attention! Devine moves over to the top turnbuckle and perches there, waiting for Braun to get to his feet. Braun slowly raises up and Devine leaps -- cross body off the top turnbuckle outside the ring! What a move by Darryl Devine! There IS a reason why he is the USPW World Champion, right? Devine gets to his feet and speaks with Seduction for a moment. Then he pulls Braun up to his feet. He whips Braun into the guardrail! Braun flinches in pain and Devine charges -- springboard off the guardrail -- Braun catches Devine! Power Bomb outside the ring! What a move by Alex Braun! The Iceman picked up Devine and tossed him back inside the ring. Braun joined him in moments later. Braun made a quick cover:]

Braun pulls Devine up and hooks him -- Gutbuster! The crowd cheers as Devine holds his ribs on the mat. Braun pulls Devine up and walks over to the turnbuckle. He raises Devine onto the top turnbuckle and then climbs up with him -- BACK SUPERPLEX OFF THE TOP! Braun makes another cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3 -- 4 -- 5! Seduction is up on the apron distracting the referee! Braun gets to his feet and sees what's going on. He walks over toward Seduction, whose eyes go wide! Darryl Devine takes the time to recover from that back superplex and then crawls over to Braun -- LOW BLOW! Braun starts to crumple. Devine pulls himself up and grabs Braun -- Devine Dream Drop! Braun hits the mat and Devine makes the cover, hooking the leg:]

First off QUALITY promos throughout I imagine the USPW crowd really lapping up Jack America's little speech. Rhino Umaga great choice for singing, Champagne Lover is sure to be a big heel (I think:p) in USPW.

Andre Jones vs. Acid

Henry turns on Andre!!!!!

Enygma vs. American Elemental

Enygma is a calculating vicious heel who is on the rise after losing his mask rather that his expected fall. Easy win.

Johnny Bloodstone vs. Art Reed

Dunno really like both so I'm going to go draw with stable getting involved, Art being saved by the new stable defending USPW, referee throws it out!

USPW National Title Match: Bruce the Giant defends vs. Jack America

Moving away from jobbership but still isn't up to sleighing the giant
