Curses! Foiled by one match. How can Amber Allen train that long against so many people, just to flop in the main event?

Hope you got my suggestion/question, Jaded.

Big Gold Belt: Remmy Honeyman vs Nigel Svensson

Nigel, fresh off of a big, feud-ending win over Amber Allen, shocks the RY-RAW world by upsetting Remmy for the belt! Anarchy!

Amber Allen vs Tamara McFly

Let's get back on track here, Amber.

Ant Man vs Talia Quinzel

He's getting a giant ant-sized push. He's going to defeat a giant woman.

Connie Morris vs Regular Joe

It pains me to pick her (jury's still out on that) to win.

Frankie Boy Fernandes vs Syd Collier

Cheers to the new guy who's not in Pink Floyd!

Buzz Reid vs Donte Dunn

Just on nickname basis. "The Barbadian Barbarian"? AWESOME.

Ant Man and Syd Collier vs Paratroopers

I wouldn't be surprised if the Paratroopers had clinical depression thanks to the losses they've suffered through in their careers.

George Wolfe vs Nigel Svensson

Warmup before the upset.

Bradley Blaze vs The Minor Annoyance

That's right, I'm picking you to win. And yes, I don't feel like winning the prediction challenge this month anyways. So there. Going against the grain.

Amber Allen vs Robbie Wright

Another win for Amber.

Big Gold Belt: Remmy Honeyman vs Nigel Svensson

By unclean means (e.g. DQ or something) to keep this feud alive

Amber Allen vs Tamara McFly

Personally I've always found Tammy more reliable, but Amber's been positioned as one of your top stars

Ant Man vs Talia Quinzel

Ant Man's one of your big guys

Connie Morris vs Regular Joe

COnnie's more reliable than Joe, in my experience

Frankie Boy Fernandes vs Syd Collier

Boot Camp graduates tends to be better than Coastal Resort boys

Buzz Reid vs Donte Dunn

Because Buzz sucks, and Levitical's right when he says that the Barbadian Barbarian is an awesome nickname

Ant Man and Syd Collier vs Paratroopers

The result's a given- what's interesting is what this says about Syd's push- he's clearly being positioned near the top if he's teaming with a top guy

George Wolfe vs Nigel Svensson

Wolfe's a solid guy with a lot of upside, but against Nigel he's going to struggle

Bradley Blaze vs The Minor Annoyance

Bradley's not that great without the aid of friendly narratives, but he's still better than the Annoyance

Amber Allen vs Robbie Wright

Amber's one of your best, and Robbie's pretty weak

Hey, it's Chuck "C-Double" Checkerson here from Cedar Rapids Wrestling. I got a question for The Minor Annoyance-

I know what's really going down behind the scenes at RY-RAW. I'm what some in this business call a "smark". I know that you're not just this jobber, you're owner and booker of the company.

That being said, I do love what you've done with the place. I hate Jay Chord, too.

My question to you is: When are the good fans and wrestlers of your fine company going to get to see another title? Where's the tag team titles? An all-action one? Or how about Pure Wrestling, thanks to the influx of wrestlers like Nigel and Amber? Almost any new belt would help out here, except for the King of Deathmatches. I'd hate to see what a barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat would do to a face like yours, bud.

Love the Big Gold Belt, no doubt. But we want another title in RY-RAW, baby! If you want to go along with the uncommon names, here's one for the tag team titles: Really Shiny Belts. A great tag team fighting for the honor and glory of...really shiny belts. It hypes itself!

Me, the owner? "You might well think that; I couldn't possibly comment", to quote a favourite TV character of mine.

As for the new belts... that sounds interesting. I don't think we really need them at the moment to be honest, but I'll consider them if we continue to grow.

And yeah, if we bring in tag titles, I'll use that awesome name!

Big Gold Belt: Remmy Honeyman vs Nigel Svensson

This is a tough call, as Nigel looks to me to be the best worker in the company by a fair margin after his second consecutive defeat of Amber. But I don't really see any challengers that make sense out there if Nigel takes the belt here, so I'll guess that Remmy retains.

Amber Allen vs Tamara McFly

Tamara's just had a shot at the Big Gold Belt, so my guess is that Amber will rebound here and keep herself in contention. I'm not sure how many more legit title contenders there are on the roster at this point, but we haven't seen Remmy v. Amber in a while and you know that match will deliver.

Ant Man vs Talia Quinzel

Ant Man's solid push should continue--although Talia's someone who may be in line for a push of her own.

Connie Morris vs Regular Joe

Both of these workers seem to be falling down the card. I'll say Connie's the one to right the ship in this match.

Frankie Boy Fernandes vs Syd Collier

Collier looks to be getting a bit of a push.

Buzz Reid vs Donte Dunn

I don't know that Reid's going to be sticking around for the long term, and Dunn might be.

Ant Man and Syd Collier vs Paratroopers

The Troopers will win a match eventually, right? Probably not here, though.

George Wolfe vs Nigel Svensson

Not much doubt here. We'll see if Wolfe can impress in his debut.

Bradley Blaze vs The Minor Annoyance

I'm really tempted to give this one to the Annoyance, but apparently he thinks that Blaze has potential. If that's the case, though, I'm not sure why he thinks this is a matchup that will do Blaze any favors.

Amber Allen vs Robbie Wright

Better luck next time, Robbie.

RY-RAW Presents

Keeping It Real, Sunday Week 2, June 2011

Amber Allen vs Robbie Wright

Another ex-MAW trainee signs up, and makes an impressive debut as Amber walks him through the match then makes him tap out.

Amber Allen defeated Robbie Wright in 6:26 by submission with a Cross Arm Breaker. (46)

Bradley Blaze vs The Minor Annoyance

I put Blaze over here. I’m having another bad night. I’m glad we’re growing, but I wish my in-ring career was doing better…

Bradley Blaze defeated 'The Minor Annoyance' in 5:56 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop. (30)

George Wolfe vs Nigel Svensson

George Wolfe, son of Canadian legend Ed Monton, makes his debut here, and it’s completely sensational – these two were planning their match for hours before hand, and it shows. They seem to have hit it off and they work really well together, Wolfe making Nigel look even better than normal in what’s not that much more than an extended squash but goes down very well.

Nigel Svensson defeated George Wolfe in 5:49 by pinfall with a Running Knee Drive. (51)

Ant Man and Syd Collier vs Paratroopers

This is pretty poor, but does the usual job of putting over the Paratroopers’ opponents. Highlight is a huge double chokeslam by Ant Man on both of the Paras.

Ant-Man and Syd Collier defeated Paratroopers in 6:12 when Ant-Man defeated Paradigm by pinfall with an Antidote. (34)

Buzz Reid vs Donte Dunn

Ouch – this is even worse than the previous match. Maybe Buzz isn’t worthwhile keeping around…

Donte Dunn defeated Buzz Reid in 7:27 by pinfall. (19)

Frankie Boy Fernandes vs Syd Collier

Syd didn’t look too impressive in tag action earlier, but he makes up for it here with a good showing in this squash of Fernandes. He joins the list of people with enough stamina for us to throw them in there twice a night.

Syd Collier defeated Frankie-Boy Fernandes in 6:51 by submission with a Texas Cloverleaf. (38)

Connie Morris vs Regular Joe

As you’d expect from these two, serviceable if nothing special. Just like in her match against Tamara a few months ago, Connie heels it up and the crowd get into booing her. Unlike in that match, though, she manages to cheat for the victory, exposing a turnbuckle and slamming Joe’s head into it before hitting the Missouri Plough.

Connie Morris defeated Regular Joe in 8:35 by pinfall with a Missouri Plough. (43)

Ant Man vs Talia Quinzel

Ant Man has a bad day at the office here, and while Talia’s good, she’s not good enough to cover for him. Poor match. However, it’s at least competitive, and the 6 footer is quickly rising up the card.

Ant-Man defeated Talia Quinzel in 7:56 by pinfall with an Antidote. (36)

Amber Allen vs Tamara McFly

Good bout here, which sees Amber hit the Northern Lights Suplex but release it and go for the Cross Arm Breaker – only for Tamara to get to the ropes! Tamara makes a comeback and gets the victory with the McFly Roll.

Tamara McFly defeated Amber Allen in 10:04 by pinfall with a McFly Roll. (59)

Big Gold Belt: Remmy Honeyman vs Nigel Svensson

Great main event here, which is very open, with lots of near falls and submissions for both guys. In fact, at one point, Svensson manages to get his Hyper Extended Arm Lock on, but this match has got RY-RAW’s first ever ref bump when Chad Brent got hit after Svensson ducked a Honeyman crossbody attempt. With no ref to see the submission, Nigel let’s go of the hold to shake Brent back to his sense – and gives Honeyman enough chance to recover and stop him slapping it on again. Remmy eventually retains with a figure four leglock, Nigel holding on for nearly a minute as he desperately tries to make it to the ropes, but in the end can’t.

Remmy Honeyman defeated Nigel Svensson in 13:04 by submission with a figure four. (64)

Notes first: Thank you for continuing to read and predict, you guys are awesome!

Thank you ESPECIALLY to Boltinho and LLK3 for the nominations for Diary of the Month – being nominated was beyond my wildest dreams. (I’ll admit this doesn’t say much for my wildest dreams, but…) Seriously, thanks guys – that made my day!

Thirdly, I’m away from Thursday until Monday or Tuesday so there will be a break in the diary. I have a bad record of flakiness so wanted to give you advance warning so people didn’t think I’d lost interest – I’ve got plenty left to do yet. (I’m currently in Dec 2013 on the game!)

Fourthly, did I say thank you everyone yet?! :)

Fifthly, RY-RAW apologises for the Amazing Fire Fly not being in action on their last show. We clashed with OLLIE and apparently they had less stalker-ish fans. ;)

Due to the recent expansion of RY-RAW we have decided to move to a new schedule of two shows a month. Therefore, we are proud to present the debut of Realler Than Ever!

Remmy Honeyman has taken on and beaten all comers since winning the Big Gold Belt – but his first ever challenger has been on a tear since his loss, winning six out of six. Second time around, can Ant Man end the champ’s reign?

Nigel Svensson and Tamara McFly have both had their own opportunities to win the BGB but failed to do so – albeit in dubious circumstances in Svensson’s case. One of them will surely propel themselves right back into title contention with a victory here?

And Amber Allen is arguably RY-RAW’s franchise player, having wrestled more matches than anyone else, but this may be her toughest night yet. She’ll take on Japanese import Tsuki Kawamata and also fight against her old rivals the Paratroopers in a tag match. Her partner?

Nigel Svensson, once again. And we all saw their lack of communication two months ago, which nearly cost them dear. What ARE the top brass thinking? Find out, on the inaugural Realler Than Ever.

Better get these predictions in . . .

Big Gold Belt: Remmy Honeyman vs Ant Man

Honeyman's run as champion has been solid. If he's going to drop the Big Gold Belt it'll have to be to someone else who can carry much of the roster to good matches, and I don't think Ant Man's at that level yet.

Nigel Svensson vs Tamara McFly

Nigel should've won the belt last show, and he's beaten Honeyman in singles competition before--so he'll have a strong case for getting another title shot. But he's got to stay strong here in what should be an excellent match.

Amber Allen vs Tsuki Kawamata

It's rare for new workers to debut with a win in RY-RAW, especially when they've got to face Amber Allen. Tsuki may well look good, but I doubt she'll win.

Donte Dunn vs Syd Collier

Collier's been on the rise. That should continue against Dunn, who may not be quite ready for prime time yet.

Frankie Boy Fernandes vs Regular Joe

Joe's struggles continue here, as it looks like he may have one foot out the door.

Connie Morris vs George Wolfe

Wolfe could be a name to watch in the future, but Connie's a solid and still valuable member of the roster who needs to be kept strong here.

Bradley Blaze vs The Minor Annoyance

An immediate rematch for the Annoyance? My gut is still tempted to pick him to win, but I'll go with my brain.

Amazing Fire Fly vs Buzz Reid

Buzz Reid's still on the roster? He's not at Fire Fly's level.

Robbie Wright vs Talia Quinzel

These two both look like solid prospects, but Quinzel's had a few more RY-RAW appearances than Wright has so I expect she'll end up with the victory.

Amber Allen and Nigel Svensson vs Paratroopers

I won't make the same mistake I did last time this match was booked.

RY-RAW Presents

Realler Than Ever, Sunday Week 4, June 2011

Amber Allen and Nigel Svensson vs Paratroopers

This is a really good opener, built around the uneasy team of Amber and Nigel, who are yelling and taunting each other as they take the Paratroopers apart. It ends with Nigel’s Hyper Extension Arm Lock, which he slaps on Paradigm as he screams at Amber, reminding her of her tap-out loss to the same move.

Amber Allen and Nigel Svensson defeated Paratroopers in 8:17 when Nigel Svensson defeated Paradigm by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. (48)

Robbie Wright vs Talia Quinzel

Poor match, but does its job of putting over Talia, as she hurls the shorter guy around a bit before finishing with her Spinal Trauma backbreaker.

Talia Quinzel defeated Robbie Wright in 6:17 by pinfall with a Spinal Trauma. (31)

Amazing Fire Fly vs Buzz Reid

This is surprisingly good, as Buzz just lets Fire Fly pull off some crazy moves, with the highlight being a Reid clothesline attempt which Fire Fly reverses by backdropping him over the ropes to the outside then follows up with an Asai Moonsault.

Amazing Fire Fly defeated Buzz Reid in 6:21 by pinfall with a Sky High Fire Fly. (45)

Bradley Blaze vs The Minor Annoyance

Sadly my rematch from last month is even worse than our other one was. Bradley hits some good strikes before putting the crowd out of their misery.

Bradley Blaze defeated 'The Minor Annoyance' in 6:03 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop. (29)

Connie Morris vs George Wolfe

Nowhere near up to George’s debut, but he does a good, professional job of putting Connie over – his dad will be proud. He also gets a few minutes to show us what he can do on offense after a brief rally midway through the match, pulling off a good extended vertical suplex.

Connie Morris defeated George Wolfe in 6:13 by pinfall with a Missouri Plough. (37)

Frankie Boy Fernandes vs Regular Joe

Unfortunately, Frankie’s having a bad day here, and this is a serious disappointment. These two should be able to work a much better standard of match than this.

Regular Joe defeated Frankie-Boy Fernandes in 10:06 by pinfall with a Joe And Behold. (32)

Donte Dunn vs Syd Collier

Donte’s also having a bad day, but this is serviceable. Nice open contest which sees some close two counts for both men but ends when Donte misses a somersault splash, allowing Syd to hook on his Texas Cloverleaf finisher.

Syd Collier defeated Donte Dunn in 7:35 by submission with a Texas Cloverleaf. (45)

Amber Allen vs Tsuki Kawamata

Spotty, but a decent debut for the relative veteran from Japan. She's never in with a realistic hope of winning, but Amber gives her a reasonable amount of offense and it's a good contest. (49)

Amber Allen defeated Tsuki Kawamata in 8:01 by submission with a Cross Arm Breaker.

Nigel Svensson vs Tamara McFly

As expected, this is awesome. Maybe TOO awesome. 11 minutes of superb technical wrestling, a host of nearfalls, the Hyper Extended Arm Lock applied by Nigel but too close to the ropes, meaning Tamara can reach them to break, and in the end, a McFly Roll out of nowhere for the win.

Tamara McFly defeated Nigel Svensson in 11:09 by pinfall with a McFly Roll. (60)

Big Gold Belt: Remmy Honeyman vs Ant Man

Wow… incredibly – and partly due to Tamara and Nigel intentionally holding back on their big moves in favour of playing the crowd – these two manage to outperform the semi-main event! Great match, with Ant Man looking like he's snatched it with a massive running powerslam before Remmy's able to come back and get the victory with the Flying Legdrop.

Remmy Honeyman defeated Ant-Man in 10:11 by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop. (62)

Rating 59

Attendance 43

Popularity in Mid-South 14.1 – 15.5

Despite the 2 shows, the second of which used our entire roster, we managed to make $8,000 profit in the month. We could probably go weekly from a cash point of view… but it would almost certainly severely shorten some careers, so we’ll leave it for now.

RY-RAW Presents

Keeping It Real, Sunday Week 2 July 2011

After her big win against Nigel Svensson, it's another title shot for Tamara McFly. Can she end the Big Gold Champ's reign?

Amber Allen and Ant Man are semi-regular tag partners. But when the pair collide, who will prove to be the better wrestler? And will the distraction of their upcoming match allow the Paratroopers to FINALLY get a tag victory in our opening match?

And the Amazing Fire Fly has made an explosive start in RY-RAW, but Bradley Blaze has been hugely dominant in his last two matches - even if they were only against The Minor Annoyance. Can he get a victory over a much tougher opponent, or will AFF FTW?

RY-RAW Podcast

Ant Man: She's a great wrestler, and I can't wait to test myself against her.

Amber: I like the guy, we can team well together. Just because we're fighting later on won't stop us beating the heck outta the Paralytics.

Bradley: Yee-haw! Had ta round up the Minor Annoyance twice to get a good fight, but this is gonna be a slobberknocker! Fire Fly, I'm gonna make me a name for myself here!

Syd: Cat's Lair? Please... what the heck could you have learned at a place with a name like that? I graduated from the Boot Camp and I'm going to put you to sleep, little kitty.

Remmy: The Big Gold Champ is waiting. Seems I beat so many challengers they're starting to come round again... let them come.

Talia: Hard to put anyone to sleep with a broken back. Although the way he talks, possibly not THAT hard. Maybe I should break his neck to just to make sure.

Tamara: This time, it's my belt.
