Anyone see the guy on University Challenge this week that looked just like Geordie Jimmy?

This gut, I certainly see the resemblance and they were playing Geordie's too. GJM is known never to cover up him chest, even the 27 days of the month he isn't a wrestler.

Lawrence Young pay rise?

It is thought that upon entering negotiations for a new contract Lawrence Young has requested a pay rise of an undisclosed amount, Men of Steel are thought to have been keen to resign Lawrence, who has been with the company for 4 years, but the company's financial problems meant they cannot afford the increased contract demands thought to be closer to £500 from £300, he is thought to be leaving after the March show as he has around 35 days left on his contract and he may return to the promotion at a later day.

Bernie: But these dedicated fighter will anyway, and if no one was hear UV would of picked a fight with someone any way so I suppose it's best we keep them fairly sober and get a little money for it! Lawrence: Speaking of UV picking a fight, this month he's up against the man who lost last month to Harley Neill but will look to kick Ultra Violence out of the match in this MOSC Deathmatch! <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28960" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div> <div style="text-align:center;"> Men of Steel Deathmatch – Bruiser vs Ultra Violence</div> http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/J%20Silver/Bruiser.jpghttp://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo302/brettney1980/wrestling%20stuff/UltraViolence.jpg Ultra Violence staggered to the ring and the fans were already against him as he unenthusiastically dragged himself to the ring as if he had just come back from a particularly nasty s*it, and gave the showmanship of a dying sloth, then Bruiser came out and the fans urged him to do whatever was needed to end the career of his opponent and UV just stood their glugging a can of Carlsberg as if he was elsewhere (well he is in a pub so not elsewhere but, 'not in a ring') and Bruiser had to remind him with a big slap to the face and the bell was rung, and the match was under way, Bruiser went for a punch but Ultra ducked and gave Bruiser a couple of cane shot to the head forcing him into the corner and another cane shot followed before he went for a running cane strike but he tripped over his boot lace as he ran and a fan instigated a chant of 'Ultra a drunken loser' even though he said it in a drunken slur himself and now the fans were really against him as Bruiser stood their bemused and waiting for a cane shot which eventually came when UV remembered who he was, UV then went for another but Bruiser back body dropped him onto the other side of the ropes and then big booted him causing UV back into the railing and Bruiser took some barbed wire and a table from under the ring and set it up near the railings, he then took two glasses from fans and placed them on the ground smashing them up by standing on them and then put them on the table. By now UV was up and he hit Bruiser in the eye but a clothesline from Bruiser sent him over the guardrail and a fan kicked him causing UV to no sell the clothesline and square up to the fan who had brought a fishing hook, which Bruiser took off him and put through the earlobe and dragged him back to the ring with he then took UV up to the top rope and both hit each other back and forth until UV spat in Bruisers eye and blinding him for enough time to go to the outside and attempt a superplex to the outside but Bruiser fought out of it a hit a Gutwrench Powerbomb into the barded wire, glass table and pinned UV. However, The Geordie ran straight back out of the corner but was bet with a big boot belonging to Patterson and he was dropped to the floor and Danny started to laugh before going all serious and grabbing Morris by the neck and strangling, the referee tried to pry his hand away but Danny shouted ' What can you do DQ me? And the Mr. Gregory backed off leaving Jimmy to turn nearly purple befor Danny Patterson lifted him up and smashed him with a chokeslam and went for the pin only at 2 and a half he lifted Morris' shoulder up and began laying boots into him and apply his foot to GJM throat. He then decided to get the chair he had used on Bruiser and as Bruiser was coming round DP smashed him in the skull again before refocusing on Jimmy Morris who he put the chair onto and hit a running splash to and began to stalk for the chokeslam but a barely moving Jimmy wasn't getting up so Danny lifted him up himself and slammed him with a chokeslam for the win by pinfall. Lawrence: What are they married, sometimes you make these tough bastards seem like brokeback mountain for f*ck sake! Then, Wright dragged him closer to the ring and took a video cassette (Naked Video if you must know) and unravelled the tape and wrapped it around Psycho's neck which he used to help him hit Psycho's head into the railing after 3 smashes Psycho blocked it and elbowed Wright in his gut and then began the comeback with a couple of left hooks to the face of Tony which left him slouched across the side of the ring and left him open for a shard of glass to cut his head and then Psycho sliced a P into his left peck and left Tony squealing live a pig, and allowed Psycho to make his way into the ring for the first time in the match and Tony soon followed but as met as he came in the ring by a flurry of punches before Psycho dumped him back on the outside and onto the announcer's table. The fat bastard) caught Carl Edwards trying to do a crossbody and got him in position for the Hunk of Pain (Pumphandle drop) and got the win and the fans couldn't have been happier to see the end of the match. Greg ducks. Another. Greg ducks and Irish whips Dunton into the ropes. Highland Fling the fans go crazy for the signature of THW and he poses for the fans. Bernie: These fans love him, Lawrence: I don't know why, Harley is in the main event and Warrior is trying to weaken him he should be fired right now, Dunton owns his fat, Scottish arse, Bernie: Do you believe everything you here? But it is a good old fist fight which starts up the match with both guys going at each other, desperate to take 'power' of MOSC by winning the title, and it's the current champion took the best with a particularly strong punch that drop the smaller Thug, who managed to drag himself to his feet but he was immediately big booted to the outside by the The Juicer. When on the outside Thug, who had hit his head on the trolley was down and Neill soon on top of Thug and beating him with his right hand again but was low blowed by him and clubbed Neill on the back and went to trolley and took out the baking tray and waited for Harley to get up before charging at him with a tray shot to the head knocking Harley Neill into the back of the trolley which was knocked over with everything spewing out onto the floor. Thug rolled into the ring taking a bag with him, and Harley soon followed back into the ring and the brawl continued. And Thug made the break through as he left Harley Neill slouched and he took the bag to really hundreds of drawing pins (thumbtack for the international fans) onto the canvas and went for a DDT but Harley barged him into the ring post and hit drop toe hold on the rebounding Thug dropping his face into the pins, to add greater injury to... injury, Neill applied pressure to the head of the challenge pushing the pins further into his head and pulling blood all over his face, near blinded when he got up he was met by a EastEnder (renamed East End Piledriver) to pick up the win. I quite like the tradition of naming events after songs by a particular band/artist. Id suggest Pop Will Eat Itself for MOSC. They had that scuzzy no-frills attitude.

I imagined that a prize of that caliber was at risk of overwhelming to the winner, and I'm sure a travel edition is not out of the question.

That it would be but the fans crap on anything Ultra Violence does, they also are like that to Jeremy Allen (but I still insist on pushing him) and the active wrestlers that I've released. Although it would have been brilliant to write and when your Men of Steel Combat who cares about ratings.

Not a great song but a great name, the song doesn't really go with the event but I thought it's MOSC's style to defy reason just to have something link things together and look like theirs a bit of thought behind it (and by 'MOSC's style, I mean my style')

Just ran the show as well and I think the new signing may have been hit by 'Shockmaster effect' that I'd heard about and f*cked up his debut.)
