Arcadia presents... Deadly Overloaded Action || "Wrestling Entertainment in Revolt!"

I dig it.

The Quality over Quantity is something I have been planning on doing with my dynasty as well, Or I am just saying that so I have an excuse for being late with all the images I am doing. :). The long deep storylines was something I was toying with as well, though my thought process was more along the epic events done in comics rather then television.

I really like your writing style so I am pumped for this. I can see you meeting your self imposed goals with ease, while still making it fun to read. Cant wait to see how things pan out once we start getting into the meat of the promotion. Pumped.

I definitely see a correlation between our projects; as we both are trying to do the same thing really (ie: use images to create a tone & ultimately tell a deeper story in the end). Then again, you're a professional when it comes to design (and I am nowhere near that) so that's where the connection stops I guess. ha. That said, your project has a lot of potential going forward. I can't wait to see what you continue to do with it (Loved the second post you just threw up as well. great stuff).

Thank you, Yoshi.

I can't wait for the 'meat' to come through as well; as the setup is fun but not as important as the actual stories that follow. In the end, I think these new goals will help me to keep my mind focused as I know what I want to say, for the first time don't have a user character to get in the way, and can ultimately craft a unique show experience. Overall, I'm excited & have already started writing the first show. With that said, seeing how I'm toying around with new layout ideas, it may take a bit before it's ever posted up here. From there though, after I've setup whatever I want for a layout, it'll be a lot easier in the future.

Thanks for reading!

Cheers.

With the roar of the inspired ‘dead-heads’ encompassing the DOA “Dungeon”, Marquez, Machine, and Skye, all wage in a chaotic sense of warfare; one that roots itself in the act of continuous, beautifully seamless, anarchistic combat. Move-by-move, it appears as if their altercation could come to an end; however, in a shocking manner, rest is simply not what came next. Instead, each jaw-dropping maneuver was followed up by, yet, another, more dare-devilish, attempt at body-crushing destruction. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> In the end, with a relatively hot crowd resonating at their backs, “The Latin Dream” found his ‘once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity’; catching the suicidal Insane Machine with a standing Superkick to the jaw. While such a maneuver would typically slow down any opponent, if not end the match all together, Machine’s impact was even more deadly as he was, at the time, descending from the top rope in which to deliver an aerial strike of his own. The impact of Marquez’s boot into his metal-plated jaw, sent the coastal-zone speed-demon into a state of shock; forcing his body to collapse upon the canvas below. With Remmy Skye struggling to regain his composure following a previous front-face strike from Insane Machine, the door was pretty much left wide open for Marquez to drop upon his half-conscious foe; picking up a three count from Eugene Williams as The Guru shows his obvious disdain for the scenario at hand. All in all, with this victory, Antonio Maxi Marquez is given the comfort of knowing that he may not call the “Dungeon” his permanent home; a fact that barely registers upon his smug-ridden face. Meanwhile, with that being said, Skye & Machine are forced to stagger back into oblivion; no longer deemed as potentially important as the flame of their potential DOA careers never had a chance to truly ignite. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>Antonio Maxi Marquez defeats Insane Machine and Remmy Skye in 5:42 following a Superkick to the jaw of the descending Machine. While some would simply give-in at this point, Matthew Keith is not a ‘simple someone’. The impact resonates throughout the “Dungeon” like a baseball bat colliding with a speeding baseball; tipping Eugene Williams to the fact of such an interference pretty easily. The screeching excitement of 2,000 ‘dead-heads’ resonates loudly within the heavily constructed Arcadia soundstage, located in the heart of the Arcadia Network’s mass village known as their lot, as an intense sense of anticipation grows stronger by the second. Four teams, four Death-Defying Duo’s, step before one another in a combative manner; knowing that tonight’s altercation could, potentially, change the course of their collective careers. With this in mind, it should come to no shock that this match-up came in like a roaring lion; each duo exploding out of the gate with victory already in their sights. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> At first, it all seems like some sort of shocking display of organized chaos. Teammates are flying, using each other’s bodies as missiles, as a collection of lightweights slam aggressively into one another. Each corner of the ring, each glaring ring rope, every turnbuckle standing high over the squared circle, is quickly utilized; each competitor looking to, seemingly, out-do their opponents in an accelerated manner. Overall, everything feels rather anarchistic as each competitor bounces around the ring, using everything as a springboard, as they push toward their ultimate goal: Obtaining victory in a ‘blaze of glory’ kind of approach (indicative of the Death-Defying Duo division).</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> While extremely dangerous, and rather reckless in nature, their collective action seems somewhat poetic. It’s almost as if the true danger of their suicidal antics feel much more like a modern-day Shakespearean tragedy; each competitor needing to practically break their body for ‘fame’. With this in mind, each individual continues to push the overall pace of the match to the absolute extreme; shaking the squared circle to it’s very core as everyone challenges it’s ability to stay standing despite such a chaotic tone.</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> In the end, as bodies continue to fly left and right, The DOA Death-Defying Duo Champions, The Tokyo Express, and The Moral Majority are seen standing in the center of the ring; staring each other down amongst the craziness that surrounds them. This moment, this very instance, sends shivers down many of the ‘dead-heads’ spines as it’s pretty obvious that these two teams are on a path of destruction; only ending when on team finally ends the others careers. Within seconds, their intense stair down, breaking the pace of the match for a second, comes to a close as all four men are seen waging an iconic sense of battle with one another.</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> As the newfound Cali Dragons brawl with the polarizing comedy duo, Totally Supreme, on the outside, The Moral Majority are able to eventually overcome the odds; forcing KAZUMA to exit the squared circle so that they may focus their attention on one man: OTA. At first, OTA attempts to keep his attackers at bay; however, with time, Citizen X & Mainstream Hernandez show themselves to be powerful force; knocking OTA out following a double-team Brainbuster. With OTA struggling to stay awake, Hernandez quickly drops to the canvas in a thunderous fashion; dramatically pinning his rival in the process. All in all, while most would expect the pinfall to be broken at some point, the continuing vibe of pure anarchy inspires the other duos to, sadly, ‘turn a blind eye’. This, in turn, gives The Moral Majority a shockingly clean victory over the DOA Death-Defying Duo Champions… A fact that you know, with 100% certainty, we will NEVER hear the end of.</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>The Moral Majority defeats The Tokyo Express, The Cali Dragons, and Totally Supreme in 10:02 after The Moral Majority executed a double-team Brainbuster upon OTA. </strong></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong> Grade: D+</strong></span></div></div></div></div><p></p></div></blockquote><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>Davis Ditterich:</strong></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Well I’ll be damned…</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>Carl Batch:</strong></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Pick ya jaw back up there, Double-D. The overall tone continues to build with an unrivaled sense of strength; predominately showing their collective support for the “Peerless” one himself: Greg Black. Either way, regardless of their favorite in this altercation, there is an overwhelming feeling of grandeur beginning to take form; breathing life into their shared moment of combat much like a big-prize-fight in the 30’s. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> With the roar of the intensely inebriated at their backs, Black & Acid begin their altercation in a furious manner; coming out ‘swinging’ as they both look to subdue the other as fast as possible. Each strike, each maneuver, every aerial spot, feels like it may be their last; creating a real sense of desperation behind all that we witness. “The Voice of Reason”, positioned stoically outside the squared circle, looks to be on-edge; wringing his hands like an alcoholic in need of a fix. In reality, it’s no vice that he’s looking to indulge in; but rather, hoping that ‘his man’ will walk away with the win tonight; cementing the legitimacy of his rag-tag faction in the process.</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> As they continue their assault, both, Acid & Greg Black show themselves to be quite different in nature. Black, known for his aerial showstopping abilities, bounces around the ring like a trained gymnast; using his body like a torpedo of sorts. While his antics are rather speedy, borderline gravity-bending at moments, there is this overall sense of order to his approach. Overall, he looks, feels, and acts, like a man whose done this before, many times, and will continue to do so past tonight. He’s a big-time, big-player, big-moment, kind of guy. The kind of persona you would expect to bleed down from ‘the big leagues’. Meanwhile, Acid tells an entirely different story…</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Animalistic, bruising, and completely lost to social norms, Acid embarks upon this altercation as a relative mad-man; acting, and reacting, like a thrill-seeking psycho in need of his next ‘fix’. Truly furious in nature, Acid comes across as more of a monster, more of a supernatural predator, than anything else. His mannerisms, his fighting style, the simple way he stands, all project this narrative as the former DOA Champion appears to be more like a super-villain than anything human. Whatever Black throws his way, Acid seems to find a way to overcome it; at one point simply shrugging off a suplex maneuver as if his body was immune to such an attack. With this in mind, seeing Tyler’s man in such shocking light, the real question begins to form: Can Greg Black simply slow down this monster?</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> From there… It all turned… congested…</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Angles/Vicious.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> First, it was the newfound DOA Champion; snarling, scheming, as he aggressively stomps his way down to the ringside area. If you’ve witnessed Season One, then you know exactly the kind of relationship Johnny Vicious has with “The Voice of Reason” and his gang of war machines. With this in mind, carrying the gleaming championship into the Dungeon for the first time since he obtained the gold a few weeks ago, there appears to be a rebellious tone brewing within his psyche. Was he here to simply oversea the action - or - does the champ have something more in mind? Either way, he stands outside of the ring, across the way from Mr. Tyler, as he continues to snarl like a feverish warrior in search for a new battle. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Angles/Torment.jpg</span><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Angles/RayneMan_alt1.jpg</span><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Angles/TedBrady_alt3.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Next, came the rest of “All the Kings Men”. One by one, Torment, Rayne, and The Elder Statesman all piled down the ramp way; embarking upon the ringside area in which to take their fearless leader’s side. Their existence quickly ignites a sense of negativity within the Dungeon. At their sight, the ‘dead-heads’ are heard showering the area with a heavy chorus of boos; knowing what would certainly follow if they were at ringside. In the end, despite being a loose alliance of sorts, Tyler’s faction stands along his side; waiting for any sort of decision he may make. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Angles/Nemisis.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Lastly, Nemesis is seen slowly storming toward the ringside area. While the crowd showers him with a massive pop, the rest of those at ringside don’t seem as ‘happy’ to have him present. With every step, moving closer to the ringside area, there is this feeling that tonight’s main event may certainly unravel at any moment; descending into a state of absolute anarchy at a snap of a finger. Realistically, that’s exactly what happened…</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> It didn’t take long for everything to fall apart. Eugene Williams, a respected referee, found himself knocked unconscious following a wayward back-kick from Greg Black; a complete accident at that. With ‘order’ now removed, all hell began to break loose. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Fists were thrown, strikes were administered, and even Nemesis, known for being ‘retired’ just as Tyler is, got into the action with several heavy-handed strikes of his own. Even the Champion himself, the man always looking for a fight, was pulled into the affair as the action organically drifted in his direction. With what could be described as a dust-ball of warfare (ie: the actual contents unseen theoretically; however, we know that a war is taking place before our eyes), the final blow comes from within it’s clouded haze. </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Greg Black, speeding toward Acid, misses the former Champion; instead slamming into the side of Nemesis in the process. Seeing his opportunity, Acid quickly lunges forward; executing his signature “Acid Rain Bomb” (sit-down powerbomb) maneuver upon the staggering Black amongst the whirlwind of craziness. With time, as everyone continues to ’push their weight around’, Eugene Williams is seen coming back to consciousness; counting to three as he’s quite oblivious to everything around him at this moment. Regardless of what he may deem as a basic DQ, seeing as he’s not entirely ‘aware enough’ to make such a judgment call, the truth of the matter is this… Acid has found a way to return to ‘the top’; cementing a re-shot for the DOA Championship at a later date!</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>Acid defeats Greg Black in 9:47 via an “Acid Rain Bomb” (sit-down powerbomb).</strong></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong> Grade: C+</strong></span></div></div></div></div><p></p></div></blockquote><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>Davis Ditterich:</strong></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> AWHH, NO!!! </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><em>[shakes his head; annoyed by the proceedings]</em></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> Are you kidding me? TOPIC: “What kills you will only make you stronger”.

Unless it really does kill you...

http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Silver%20Lining/DOA.jpg

For 14 episodes, Eric Tyler was our unquestioned leader. While his antics were often selfish in nature, the Network deemed his governing expertise as a bonafide asset to their budding, live-action based, program. With time; however, the proclaimed “Voice of Reason” began to scuff his spotless persona; continuously overstepping his position in which to aide in his own ventures (most notably: The hellacious fall of, our now DOA Champion, Johnny Vicious). As time passed, and his oppressive ways became more blatantly evident, Arcadia felt it best to finally intervene; attempting to ‘save’ their newfound diamond within the rough.

Enter Nemesis…

His official debut was like something out of a box-office action movie. With a weapon in hand, and evil intent within his psyche, the wrestling LEGEND changed the course of the DOA forever; violently forcing his will upon a landscape unknown to his antics.

As expected, his arrival became a sensitive subject to one, Mr. Tyler. While many attribute this fact to Acid’s sudden championship loss, orchestrated by the debuting Nemesis, the real truth relies in history…

For over a decade, Danger and Violence Extreme bared witnessed to a bitter rivalry which would later come to define their place amongst other Pro Wrestling organizations. One man, ascribing to the feverous ’Traditionalist’ mindset, practically chastised the other, a man known for his ultra-rebellious overtones, all with the hopes of ‘stamping out’ the newfound ‘hardcore craze’ that had swept the nation. In the end, with Nemesis practically becoming the ‘poster child’ for DaVE’s revolution, it only took a matter of time before these two hard-headed individuals slammed forcibly together; much like two parallel universes attempting to occupy the same space.

Years went by as blood was split, bodies were broken, and lives were changed forever, all for the sake of this very war: Traditionalism vs. Rebellious Innovation… Eric Tyler vs. Nemesis.

When DaVE crashed violently in 2007, many felt that this iconic war had finally seen it’s last breath. Eric Tyler went on to become “The Voice of Reason” within the confines of the DOA & Nemesis had delegated himself as an outsider; freely stepping away from the industry he once revived. Realistically, their emotionally-laced sense of warfare was something of the past; a footnote in the glorious history of a former wrestling revolt.

That was until Season One came to a close…

Now, with Nemesis fortified within Deadly Overloaded Action, accepting the influential role of a second consultant to the Network, there timeless altercation appears to be back on the forefront; threatening the well-being, and overall sanity, of those associated with the program that calls the “Dungeon” their home.

In the end, some have questioned whether or not the DOA can survive such a re-ignition; claiming that their bitter rivalry may have played a major role in DaVE’s eventual demise. While the glaring fear must be addressed, in reality, there’s nothing we can do about it at this point.

As stated above, many say that ‘what kills you only makes you that much stronger’. While it’s a quaint perspective, attempting to teach the jaded what they may learn from the pitfalls of life, it’s only impactful if the warring factions actually survive. In reality, war is not a clean scenario; people are injured, cities fall, and order is certainly destroyed. We would be fools not to expect the very same thing to happen to Deadly Overloaded Action.

I guess the 'Silver Lining' lies in the fact that, even though we may crumble beneath their weight, we'll certainly go down in a 'blaze of glory'...

With great chaos comes great possibility. Let's just hope we can brace under this storm & live to fight another day. If not, it will be these two men who will eventually sink the 'DOA ship'.

Question for semantics purposes...

When you look at the first show, how do the indents work on your browser? I mean, I'm a big fan of indenting; however, I've noticed that on some computers, the overall picture can get kinda smushed. I think it has to do with your base text size? I could be wrong though.

I good way to check this is, in the first match of the night, does Remmy Skye's picture show up on the same line as Insane Machine & Antonio Maxi Marquez? If so, then you're seeing it how I do. If not, then I guess I may need to change things based upon how it looks to the reader vs. what I see on my computer.

I thought I'd ask seeing how I've put up the first show, corresponding grade/TV rating, and the 'Silver Lining' segment. Any sort of response would be awesome. That way, I know how to format things in the future.

Cheers.

It looks good to me, my friend! No formatting issues on my browser that I can see.

Oh and I have to add: Go Moral Majority! Great way to kick off the tag team division!

Now, make sure it's also one of the longest running too. Commitment by the author breeds commitment by the reader.</p>

I know it sounds crazy but, honestly, these men have nothing to trust with one another. </span></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>Carl Batch:</strong></span></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> It’s bound to be one hell of a dawney-brook! </span></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> </span></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"><strong>Davis Ditterich:</strong></span></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';"> A dawney-brook that can easily turn deadly; one spot-at-a-time.</span></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Rapid%20Assault/Linebreak.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Rapid%20Assault/Also-1.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="29363" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m565/DOA_Cornellverse/Show%20Images/WAR.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Arial Unicode MS';">After a decade of warring within the sadistic confines of Danger and Violence Extreme, Eric Tyler & Nemesis have reignited the flame of the raging inferno they call hatred. NEWS: Jay Chord, son of legendary Rip Chord, has signed a written contract with the Supreme Wrestling Federation.

Sunday, 2nd Week of September 2010

It appears that there will be a Chord in the SWF for the first time in quite some time as Rip’s young son, Jay Chord, has recently signed a written contract with the global wrestling juggernaut. While his brash personality has secured a less-than-favorable reputation on the indy circuit, there is no denying the immense ability that Jay brings to the table. Realistically, it was best for the SWF to jump on this youngster, regardless of his polarizing personality, before their competitor, TCW, had a chance to do the same.

Either way, this poses an awkward situation for the Arcadia-based conceptual wrestling show, DOA: “Rapid Assault”, as Chord is set to compete this Thursday against a fellow up-and-coming, ‘can’t miss’ prodigy, as Antonio Maxi Marquez. With this in mind, we are unaware whether or not said development will force John “Nemesis” Campbell, and his crew of TV writers, to change the outcome of their opening match-up.

Jay Chord has worked for his father’s promotion, MAW, and the Arcadia-constructed program, DOA: “Rapid Assault”, up until now. It’s expected, due to the details of his contract, that Chord will be leaving both organizations by the end of the week.

Little is known as to when Jay will make his SupremeTV debut.

<p><strong>Antonio Maxi Marquez</strong> vs. Jay Chord</p><p>

<em>Marquez is actually legitimately better than Chord, so I don't see you having any qualms about changing plans and jobbing Jay. Still, it does suck that he leaves after the second episode, after getting the huge rub from retiring Steve Flash.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>I'm digging Powell's face paint way too much to call him losing</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p><strong>Antonio Maxi Marquez</strong> vs. Jay Chord</p><p> </p><p>

<em>This one should be easy as it's not much use putting Chord over if he is going to be sticking around, then again this is the DOA and they might just be crazy enough to do that hoping it might set something up down the road if Chord returns, but in all honesty that would be thinking too far ahead. </em></p><p> </p><p>

Cannonball Funk vs. <strong>Teddy Powell</strong> vs. Silver Shark</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Most prominent character of these three in Season One, he'll continue to have a relatively strong push in Season Two.</em></p><p> </p><p>

The Tokyo Express © vs<strong>. The Moral Majority</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>DQ win for the Tokyo Express, extends the feud a little further and The Moral Majority look dangerous in defeat.</em> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>More unity on the side of Eric's Boys and that will carry them to victory.</em></p>
