What avatar do you use?

I'm a big fan of the Roman Heidenseik for small feds.

<p>I usually either use the Grand Avatar or I create a new guy to fit the promotion I'm starting with. I don't like using the original Avatars as their skills are way too high for my taste. This is the skills of my current avatar when I started the game. This was for a 0,0,0 game so he was rather good at the beginning of the game (altough he never main evented as he didn't have any popularity).</p><p> </p><p>

Grand Avatar. I don't like making the avatar a part of the show, especially as I have a pure wrestling promotion, so that works for me.

I sometimes just use whatever the game randomly starts as and build storylines off it from time to time. The most memorable was when I started a game as WCW in 1997 using Don King. <p>I use a character thats pretty much Robert Oxford but 20 years younger, and worse technical skills. Someone with bad top row skills but is great at carrying a match and making others look good at his own expense. Hes 0-54.</p><p> </p><p>

Depending on what size fed I start at, he may also work double duty as my road agent.</p>

<p>I have several avatar characters that I've created, and use whichever one is most appropriate to whatever promotion I plan to be playing as.</p><p> </p><p>

My favorites are: </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>John Boy LaRue</strong>, whom I originally created to be the "me" character for a CornellVerse game I wanted to run way back when. Now, there's about four different versions of the character, (the one I use in CornellVerse games, the one I contributed to the ComVerse as part of 'The LaRue Crew' in CLAW, the one that lives in my personal database, and I think there's one in the GDS-Verse version of CLAW as well.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Hikikomori -</strong> A reclusive Japanese character I think kind of suits me to a T, (except for the being Japanese part), but I love Japan a lot, so....</p><p> </p><p>

And, finally...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Sibs Heroic -</strong> Johnny and Kathryn Heroic, I guess you could call them the dvdWarrior versions of Jack and Kate Avatar. They're siblings, but I'd guess that's mainly just in my head, and would only matter in multi-player games.</p><p> </p><p>

I also like to come up with new ones from time to time, and yes, as a general rule, my avatars are part of the game, (save for Hikiko maybe). I have no qualms about using them in matches or whatever. I don't feel it's cheating or anything. Granted though, none of them really have stats like the original Jack Avatar, so I think it's OK.</p><p> </p><p>
