Just wanted to share two links. randomfreeze Posted November 28, 2010 Share Posted November 28, 2010 I'm not a fan of the original but I love movies so I might see this after I've hear some opinions from people I trust. I've just grown tired of the Tron ad blitzes. Maybe it's because they have been playing since March, but every ad I see for this makes me more apathetic about Tron. It also gives me flashback to the marketing of Avatar last year. Both big budget 3D kid flicks being released the same weekend with similar color schemes and the intent to sell a lot of merchandise. I'm not begrudging the studio because Avatar was obviously very successful. Ignoring a format that worked so well would be silly and everyone wants to sell a lot of promotional products with their movie. I just didn't enjoy Avatar and the promotion of this movie gives me deja vu. All that said though, I did enjoy the literal trailer, so what the hell do I know...
